Morton's The Steakhouse - CLOSED

I have to say that I've never ate a nicer steak than my red eye steak that night. The service was excellent, as expected for the price. Why 4 stars? Because when we asked for our wine they didn't have it but instead of telling us they didn't say anything, we had to ask ourselves where is the wine? And then they told us they didn't have it. Drinks where great too! Thank you

Dec 2018 here for an employee CHIRSTmas Dinner & what a marvelous time we had. We had a set menu so, selections were limited, but this made it easier to choose... Fish, Chicken or Steak, quite the Staples of dinner. Service was impeccable & the food was just as tasty. Delivery was timely, considering the 50-70 people in our party. Portiing sizes were fair and there were a few shared, pass this around the table dishes. Parking was valeted, taking $5 off the parking fee. Going back is probable.

I love this place! Best food in New Orleans hands down!! The steak was sooo delightful we all had to taste of bite of each others! I will definitely be back next time I come to NOLA! Ohhh and that dessert was to die for!!! I recommend coming here for sure!!

Outstanding service by the bartender. Food was delicious as usual. Perfect for a date as well as dining alone.

This was the worst experience we’ve had at a Morton’s and even a steakhouse in general. We sat at the bar to have dinner, expecting the typical great Morton experience. The drinks were made to order and our oysters were good, this is where things went downhill. 2 minutes after our oysters (order as an appetizer) arrived our dinner and 2 sides arrived, a total of 6 plates arrive all at once just for dinner. It was utter chaos. The baked potato we asked to split was not split, I had to separate the pieces onto different plates and then fillings were tossed on top carelessly (it literally made a mess), our steaks were half over done and half cooked to order, the scallops completely over done and we should have been told our dinner came with asparagus so we hadn’t ordered a side of asparagus. We were starving, literally the only meal of the day after working a conference, so we ate most of it out of pure hunger and knowing how much this all cost. When confronted about the very poor timing and food, the bartender (who served the food) didn’t care less. Poor fr, poor food, poor delivery. We will never visit another Morton’s no matter where it is.

My husband and I had a really good time. He enjoyed his birthday tremendously, and our server, Kali, was really nice. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is because I did not appreciate the managers', chauvinistic directing of their attention solely to my husband, especially since I WAS PAYING, and I ate too. Attention should have been given to the entire table. Also, the char-grilled oysters as an appetizer were under-cooked, but our server was really attentive, and made sure we enjoyed every plate from that point onward that came to our table!

Excellent service. Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere.
