I dined here while on a business trip. The food was excellent, as one would expect from Morton's. I started with a chopped Greek salad, followed by a 12oz Filet with a side of asparagus. The salad was something I've never had before from them, it was quite tasty and very good and enjoyable. Next was the filet, that was delicious as always. The asparagus was grilled to perfection, but for one person was way too much. Each of their spears is as thick as five of the spears you'd get at the grocery store. That was definitely a splitter, or a meal in itself!

Google
Oh wow! The Filet was like butter, cooked to perfection. This is probably in my top 5 now. The mashed potatoes, so gooey, creamy and the thick, juicy bacon. You have to get them loaded. 🤤🤤 We spilt a salad, I don’t like to waste any room by eating a salad. But once again, the bacon, Blue cheese and dressing, delicious. I forgot we had the brussels sprouts, those were so good. We definitely wrapped those up and took them home. I have no complaints. Service was attentive and the food was delectable.

From looking at the fancy pictures online, we had higher expectations. In general, the atmosphere was good and the food was good. But we had to wait a couple minutes at the front desk before being greeted, the service was decent but not what we expected at a fancy restaurant. The food tasted fine, but wasn't anything super impressive that would make us want to come back again. Overall, it was a nice date night, But just walked away with an impression that the restaurant was "average"... For the price we paid we had hoped for a more impressive experience.

Google
Last night for dinner as we leave Palm Springs tomorrow from.tbr expo. Mortons was completely packed, and if you didn't have a reservation, you were not getting in. We got lucky as there were two seats open at the bar, and we slid in. The bar tenders and staff were really nice and helpful. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was even better. We had a great time chatting with surrounding guests and keeping conversation going. My friend ordered a steak, and we had bacon wrapped scallions, Brussel Sprouts, lobster mac and cheese, garlic mash potatoes, and prosciutto wrapped cheese. I am very happy with our experience and visit.

Google
I've been to several Mortons, and I have to say this Mortons has the best service I've experienced. From the moment that door is open. The door was opened for us. We had booked our reservation for the next day, and they changed our reservations and sat us down. As soon as we sat our bread and arrived, our sparking water came immediately. We ordered wine this night, and the wine glasses were checked before we were served, not one spot on the glass. The crew that served us went above and beyond. If every Mortons would work as exceptional as this mortons, I wouldn't hesitate to go to my Woodland Hills locations.

Google
We had a fantastic dinner at Morton’s Steakhouse! The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and the service was excellent—everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We always have a great time here, and tonight was no exception. The kids especially loved the shrimp cocktail and the rich, delicious chocolate cake. Looking forward to our next visit!

Google
I have been to several Morton's. This was not to the standard that I have been accustomed. The waiter was very kind. But our order was a mess. Our food came out cold. Instead of replacing it they just took it to the kitchen and heated it up. So our lobster was overcooked and steak was no longer cooked to order. We are asked several times if we want the soufflé and we said yes. Only to find out no...they don't have it. We were rushed through dinner and were made to feel unwelcomed to stay and enjoy the expensive food and wine that we ordered while waitstaff banged plates and started turning off lights. We were extremely disappointed and paid A LOT of money on a lot of food and liquor . The very least they could do was allow us to enjoy our mediocre meal in peace.

Google
We split the tomahawk ribeye steak and it was cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed the mushrooms which were out out of this world! We had the loaded, baked potato and cream spinach. Cream spinach was OK. I can actually make it better at home but everything else was out of this world delicious

Yelp
My wife and son treated me to dinner here for my birthday and it was awesome! I love all things Landry and haven't been to a Morton's in many years and glad I came tonight! We traveled in to Palm Springs via LA and I for the holidays from New York! We stayed at the JW Marriot across the street and this restaurants location couldn't be more perfect! From the ambiance, service (beyond excellent) and of course the food were spectacular! My son and I ordered a 16oz Prime Ribeye Medium with a huge portion of fries , au poivre sauce , Shrimp Cocktail, Brussels Sprouts and the tasty bread as the starter! It was all excellent and filled us to the brim ! The benefit of being a loyal Landry Card holder is you get treated particularly well and our waiter came out with their legendary hot chocolate lava cake with a candle which was incredibly tasty ! Overall we will come back next time we are back in Palm Desert

Yelp
I just left Morton Steakhouse on Country Club Drive, Palm Desert. The food is mediocre and to add insult injury, I ordered the King Crab Leg for $119, and they bought me the crab legs that you get on sale at Ralphs I had the manager come to my table and he then offered to give me another serving. Then he returned to say the weight is what I ordered!! I know what King size Crab leg looks like, it is huge, this was two tiny little pieces for $119. They are in business to rip off tourist and vacationers it seems, If you want poor quality food, and to be ripped then go there. Otherwise, there are lots of other excellent restaurants in Palm Desert. I just moved here a week ago, and Morton Steakhouse was the only scam I encountered and the only rude people.

Yelp
happy hour! excellent tri tip sliders ..super friendly server..ambience ...great martini and prices $$ are terrific!

Charmaine P.

Yelp
Excellent service. I love it when servers are constantly refilling our water and making sure we are ok. Food is phenomenal and the portions are bigger than expected. My favorite was the lobster bisque.

Steven D.

Yelp
Good food and convenient location. So many other great locations to choose from I go once a year for happy hour

Liz E.

Yelp
First time here and came to celebrate my birthday. All the employees were super friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Would recommend!

Nicole C.

Yelp
Fantastic meal, again! Jimmy was fabulous and very attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and the personalized menu was a nice touch. The chateaubriand was cooked perfectly. Our only complaint was the salt shaker. No salt came out and the waiter had to come over and open up the whole shaker to get the salt out. So, Josh the manager, we would like to see different salt shakers.

Toshiaki M.

Yelp
Used be this restaurant in Downtown San Francisco First time in palm Desert Morton Serves much better then san Francisco Food is excellent service too

Yelp
My family and I have dined at numerous restaurants throughout this valley, and MORTONS in Palm Desert has become our go to whether for a special occasion or just a Wednesday night. The General Manager Josh takes a hand on approach to all of his guests, the staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. We recommend the bone in Ribeye paired with a beautiful lobster Mac and cheese. If you haven't dined yet, put it on your list you won't be disappointed!!

Kasmir Justin W.

Yelp
My first time to this location and im very impressed. The food is fresh prepared to your instruction. And the staff is friendly. What more can i say. Im a member of the Laundrys Select Club. Dine at 600 locations of Top Shelf Eateries.

Yelp
Tried to submit your request but the website doesn't work. When I click submit feedback, nothing happens.

Yelp
I think the food quality at Morton's is one of the best in the High End Steakhouse category, bar none,. First off- their fresh baked onion bread, so good! Appetizer - mini Shrimp Louie Bites- what a great way to share a "salad" Steaks are always great Lots of side sauces to choose from Love their sides Dessert- The Key Lime PiE! Drinks are satisfying and good wine list. Service is always good.

Mylesha D.

Yelp
This Morton's location in the desert is one of my favorites. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is excellent. The food is always so good, with steaks perfectly cooked and side dishes that complement the meal. While the prices are indeed on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience justify the cost. If you're in the mood to splurge on a nice, fancy dinner in the desert, give Morton's a try.

Monika B.

Yelp
I'm not sure why other's would rate Morton's Palm Desert low. We had a wonderful dining experience. From the friendly hosts and wait staff to the delicious wedge salad and perfectly cooked steak. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it so special! I will definitely come back when I'm in Palm Desert!

Vicki R.

Yelp
We had reservations but went in early to have a cocktail at the bar. The bartender, Wally, was great. We enjoyed our bar seat and the service so much we cancelled our reservation and sat at the bar for dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly, the corn side dish was perfect, and the service was impeccible. This may be our new go-to.

Jim Z.

Yelp
Wonderful experience. Drinks good and service were top notch really had a great server Rocky the whole staff was friendly and attentive. Food was really good. Sides were large for 2 people to easily share. Steaks were one of the best I have had will definitely come back

Telly P.

Yelp
While the ambiance and service were great, the food was subpar. We started with the "jumbo" crab cake, which clearly was a typo because it was far from jumbo, more like "petite". We also had the bacon wrapped scallops, which weren't too bad. From there we moved onto the entrees. Typically when I order filet mignon it melts in my mouth (like butter), but mine was overcooked (I asked for medium well) , which resulted in it being tough, not to mention bland. My hubby ordered a filet as well and while his was cooked to the right temp, it too was tougher than we are accustomed to and under seasoned. We also ordered the augratin potatoes, corn casserole and cream of spinach, all of which were just blah. I felt the potatoes could have been cooked a tad bit more. The corn casserole, although flavorful, was undercooked so we returned it for the creamed spinach. That was a huge mistake as the spinach was absolutely horrible. Imagine eating fresh spinach cooked in a watery sauce with no seasoning. What the establishment lacked in culinary appeal, they made up with service and ambiance (thankfully). I'm on the fence on whether I will give them another go, as with a price point such as there's, you expect more.

Dawn M.

Yelp
Service was fabulous. No complaints at all on that but we went for Happy Hour and we're very disappointed in the food quality as well as the cocktails. My husband's margarita was mostly ice and very little margarita. We got the smash sliders and crabcakes. The crabcakes were super tiny and only two for $22. The sliders had minimal meat, and the buns were dry and crusty. The service staff was fabulous, but we will not be going back. The food was subpar for the price.

Michael S.

Yelp
Everything went well !!! Three birthdays out of four outstanding !! Great steaks !! Good bar drinks !!

Wayne W.

Yelp
The food was outstanding. 6oz filet med rare came out perfect . Yummy on the mashed potatoes. Service was fantastic... Now ambiance was very warm and inviting. But to me, part of ambiance are the people. Long gone are the days of jacket and tie. Going to a high end restaurant. Nice pants and shirt are fine.......but the dress code should not allow people that come in thinking they're going to the beach. I understand it's hot. But you're going into a restaurant with air conditioning.

Ken A.

Yelp
This has been on my list for sometime. When you walk in the door you get the feeling you are at a steakhouse. Warm lighting, comfortable seats, cloth table cloths. The ambiance is vey pleasant and comfortable. Water and bread served right away, that perked me up. Bread was fresh and warm, butter soft (thank you chef for recognizing the professionalism in soft butter). Main course: Wagyu Filet (skip the butter, you don't need it), Smoked Gouda potatoes (the best potatoes I ever had in my life), grilled asparagus (Al Dente). All were top notch, I loved every dish. Wagyu was amazing, perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth. For all the people that complain about the price - go to Sizzler! This is high quality meat. Finished it off with the cheesecake (pro tip - one is enough for two people). This was on of the best cheesecakes I ever had. It takes a lot for me to give 5 stars - well done Morton's!

Laura P.

Yelp
My husband and I enjoyed having dinner here. The bread was so good and the wedge salad was good. I was already getting full, I had to stop eating before the main dish came out. I got the pork chop, and the portion was very big. It came with a delicious sweet & spicy sauce. The filet mignon was cooked to the perfection. There were many servers, mainly men. The only thing that we didn't enjoy was where our table was located. We were seated at the end middle table where it had a lot of traffic of servers passing, coming out of the kitchen and the guests going to the restroom. The restaurant had just enough lighting, it felt like a very nice restaurant. We'll be back from time to time.

Charlie H.

Yelp
The servers were great. Attentive and efficient and always helpful. The food... Mediocre at best. None of the steaks for our table.of 10 came out the correct temperatures. You know it's bad when 80% of your table doesn't finish their steaks and don't ask to take them home. The appetizers were good, the drink great, but for a steakhouse? The meat was junk.

Chris K.

Yelp
Ate here and had a very nice time with family. The ribeye was excellent - soft, juicy, and delicious. Cocktails and wines were very good as well. The tenderloins were overcooked as the edges were well-done and chewy, but the center was closer to a medium rare. Not sure if the portions tapered off but the chefs should be mindful about even cooking. Desserts were delicious too - we enjoyed the key lime pie, cheesecake, and crème brulee.

Tanya I.

Yelp
We came here first my birthday dinner and because I was really wanting a good steak dinner! Morton's did not disappoint! I had the steak imperial cooked medium and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Very flavorful and the crab cake was delicious. My husband has the Cajun rib eye with a side of the cognac sauce and WOW it was so delicious! I will definitely get that next time. Our server was Jessica and she was fabulous! Super attentive, knowledgeable and friendly as was the rest of the staff. Jessica even made us our favorite affagato desert as it was not on the menu. Two scoops of vanilla ice cream with espresso poured over it. It's our favorite. Thank you for a great experience and we will definitely be back. We have been to many other restaurants throughout Palm Springs and down valley. This is now our favorite.

J G.

Yelp
For the Palm Desert Morton's Lenaya (so?) has been our hostess in the lounge for 5-6 yrs ..the food excellent, the service always great. ..she is fantastic

Paul B.

Yelp
Perfect night, seafood platter, bubbly and a 34th anniversary! Excellent evening and our server Sergio was first rate!

Priscilla S.

Yelp
Came to visit Morton's in Palm desert with my family, as I walked in, the door was opened and I was greeted warmly by Adrianna. We were sat and briefed about the menu and choice drinks. I absolutely adored the manager Moises our servers Roque and Jimmy. I never felt rushed , the food was amazing and the ambiance was very relaxed. Everyone was so warm and welcoming ! Felt like family all night long

Sheryl L.

Yelp
We usually don't like Morton's in Woodland Hills but we decided to try the one in palm desert . We were actually pleasantly surprised at the cozy atmosphere , comfortable booths, and great service. We enjoyed the oysters, cocktails and bread. The tomahawk steak was great quality and cooked medium rare but could have used a tad more seasoning. The sides were good as well but somewhat smaller in size and the baked potato was just okay. The key lime pie was really tasty as well. I compare Morton's to other steak houses like Ruth Chris, Eddie v's , and Mastros , and even the steak house in Aqua Caliente , who I give 5 stars to, it's just a little less desirable to us. It's really close to our house which is a big plus. We will definitely be back.

Michael S.

Yelp
We've never visited a Morton's steakhouse so this was a special treat for my birthday getaway. The most memorable part of our visit had to be the service, I have never seen such incredible service where you're every need was met without you having a search or wait for somebody to pass by, the food of course was also great. My steak was cooked perfectly as per my request and my wife's was the same, the sides were very, very indulgent and very tasty. Our waiter asked what our visit was for any special occasion and we said yes it was my birthday and he was so kind to bring us a dessert on the house. The only thing that we did not like from our visit was the overall ambience, the restaurant was extremely dark so dark that I'm almost embarrassed to say I needed to turn my phone screen brightness up to be able to see the details on the menu and don't have any vision issues. Overall it was a great experience. We had a great time, we very highly recommend Mortons steakhouse if you're looking for all of these things to come together.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Tonight's dinner was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we stepped in, Jose's (Jojo) service elevated the entire experience. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel like VIP guests. The dishes were a culinary masterpiece, each bite bursting with flavor and creativity. The ambiance was perfect for a memorable evening. Jose truly went above and beyond, ensuring our satisfaction. A heartfelt thanks for making tonight's dining experience extraordinary!

Rachel F.

Yelp
Food is amazing service was the best our waiter was Fabio not only was he professional but funny we enjoyed the manager as well coming to our table to make everything was good. The ambiance was stunning..

Keith K.

Yelp
Had a good (not great) dinner tonight at Morton's. Came here last year on Christmas Eve and enjoyed a 5* experience. Tonight was just a 4*. My ribeye was okay but I've had much better. Our side dishes were good and the service was acceptable. The lava cake for dessert was very disappointing. The cake itself was very dry with only a teaspoon of chocolate sauce inside. I would have sent it back but my wife's was exactly the same. I won't order it again at Morton's.

Nancy D.

Yelp
We absolutely love Josh and company Jesus, Sergio , Lauren etc. everyone works together and all of these folks are involved And are aware of what's gonna on Excellent first class operation and food is as I have said for years the best of steak houses, and best quality This place deserves a 10 if that was possible

Kathy B.

Yelp
I'm only giving Morton's 5 stars because of our server, Nicholas. He was PHENOMENAL. Funny, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was average. Brussels sprouts should be crispy, they seemed boiled or steamed and the bacon bits were barely cooked. If you choose to go, ask for Nicholas!

Emerson G.

Yelp
If you're Latino stay away from this place!!! Racist costumer service the girl at the front desk made take out my hat which is fine, but later I saw her walking to another guest with hats and she took a picture of them with the hat on. Later on I saw the manager going to every table asking how was everything and he didn't ask us about nothing, When I paid the check the server was rude bc I gave him $30 of tip which is not bad, The good thing is that the food was good They need to improve the service! And not being racist

Eric F.

Yelp
Outstanding food and wonderful service. My steak was amazing, service and ambience!! Our server was really good, friendly personable and very good.

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Came here with a special date, my first time at a Morton's, and EVERYTHING was fabulous. The food, the ambience, the service - first class. We are two people used to fine dining and agreed that her filet mignon and my ribeye were the two best steaks in those classes that either of us have every had. The au gratin potatoes put Ruth Chris' to shame. Because it was her birthday, my date got to pick her dessert of choice, key lime pie, and of course I couldn't let her eat dessert alone, so I went for the creme brulee. Again, both outstanding. We'll be back!

Jackson T.

Yelp
Terrible service at the bar only had one beer never offer would you like another drink.Big issue with TV took off inside news to put on ZESPzn recap o NBA Celtics blown out ny 35 points hated that review lost $100 on that game manager came over rxplaon not allowed to put on news this ESPN was news about stupid game Celtics going to win Championship. Back to the service didn't offer dessert and it was $25 off for my birthday thru Landry . This the 3rd time some wrong it happen last year with the short ribs came out all fat bad bad bad

Michael E.

Joey Y.

Yelp
We celebrated our 23rd anniversary dinner there and they did not disappoint. Our server Jessica was a ray of sunshine and a sweetheart. They even sprinkled confetti red hearts over the table for us. Everything was exceptional from the perfect martini (delivered with the snowflakes still in it!!) with blue cheese stuffed olive to the Filet Oscar style. I think that was the best thing I've ever eaten. We split a chopped salad and was just perfect. We had the button mushrooms and spinach, delightful. Hubby had the rib eye with steak sauce. He enjoyed it but felt it wasn't anything special. Overall, we were both very happy with everything. Morton's made it a special occasion for us and we appreciated it. I wouldn't mind going back for their happy hour next time we are in the area. Thank you Morton's!!!!

LQ D.

Yelp
Recently my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Morton's. We were seated immediately at a table that had a menu printed out with "Happy Anniversary" placed in front of each of us. A young woman came over and took our picture and then later in the meal presented us with the photo in a folder as a memento gift from Morton's. My wife and I both had the 8oz fillet and it was done to perfection. We also ordered a salad and baked potato and they presented us with a complimentary dessert to share with a candle on it. It wasn't inexpensive but the ambience and quality of food and service is well worth the price. All in all it was a great experience!

Jeff B.

Yelp
This is mainly for the bar as we didn't eat in the restaurant, but the experience was worth 5 stars and a review. First and foremost, if you want to sit in the bar you have to get there right at opening. People were already lined up when arrived 10 minutes before they opened. The tables in the bar were immediately filled. About 15 minutes, all the barstools at the counter taken. Another advantage to get there early is to get your food order in. One of the great features of the bar is you can order off the regular menu, just ask for it! I had the steak sandwiches, which is really steak sliders, and OMG, they were good!! After seeing another table order shoe string fries, we added that to our order as well. And I'l be, but those were some of the fries I've ever had! We ordered a baked potato to split, which trust, it's huge so it can be easily shared. They were great though and actually put it on two plates. The servers were working hard to keep everyone happy. I'm sure they might have enjoyed one or two more, but the ones that were did a great job keeping up. Someday, we might visit the restaurant, but when the bar food is that good, why bother?

Armand N.

Yelp
The best crab legs I've ever had put some butter in the lemon and dip the lobster in it's the best the service was was so good they put a tv in are room and gave us blankets and we got to watch the finals the looks were crazy they were so good

Monica L.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time and good food! Excellent service. Brandon was our waiter and he definitely enhanced our experience. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, we had lots of sides, all good. Espresso Pot de Crème was my favorite dessert. Also, the restaurant was busy, lots of fun and they took our picture and gave everyone at the table a copy. Such a nice evening!

Kevin D.

Yelp
Update to my review. Received a message on Yelp about my experience. Provided a number they could call me on. A manager named Josh left a hap hearted voicemail that he rushed through. I called him back immediately and no response. Followed up a few hours later and a staff member said "Josh said he will call you back later or tomorrow" I am sorry but I literally operate and am an owner of a 120m a year biz and IF THIS IS THEIR CLIENT SERVICE, I will never recommend not patronize this place. How sad and weak of JOSH to be too busy. Let's be completely honest here, this guys a problem and his management style is definitely not the DEFINITION of leadership. Josh if you read this shame on you my man. Morton's I'd take a deep dive into what's happening w your operation here and truly look to find a new leader, not a sour manager.

Mariah Y.

Yelp
Went to Morton's for the first time for my birthday. I loved the service, they treat you like royalty! The ambiance was amazing, being in a dim lit restaurant just sets a really good mood in my opinion. We ordered so much food but I really recommend the lettuce wedge as a starter. The bacon wrapped scallops were cooked to perfection!!!!! For my main course I ordered the Wagyu steak along with the corn soufflé, mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, the bacon & Gouda potatoes, and the truffle fries. They brought me out 3 deserts with candles on them (because it was my bday) and it was such a an nice experience. Also, the hostess took a digital picture for us and printed it! Don't really know any other place that does this but it was a nice touch. Over all, 10/10

Diana M.

Yelp
My first time at Morton's. So very disappointing. We came in for dinner on a Friday night. We first tried the French Onion soup, good flavor, but that was the end of anything edible. My husband had the prime rib bone in, he asked for rare, I ordered the 14oz strip rare, both were raw! It was so tuff to chew, we both finally sent them back to be cooked just a tad more, they only charred the outside of the steak and left the middle raw. All the veggies were over cooked, and or crisped horribly. I will never step foot in a Morton's anywhere. We had ordered the oysters, we asked where they came from, they wouldn't give us a specific place just East Coast. Said they chucked them daily "thank god" , but the table in front of us had ordered scallops they smelled so fishy that when they forgot about our oysters we were so relieved. I e never been inside a Morton's, so the ambiance was ok, a little to cold in temperature and vibe!

Jami S.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised! Came here with my husband, toddler, and parents! The service here was top notch, great drinks, and fantastic food! I'm a vegetarian and was expecting to just eat a bunch of sides. But they have an amazing entree for vegetarians/ vegans it's seared tofu on top of a bed of spinach dressed with an amazingggggg sauce! My family had crab cakes and prime rib and they were loving every bite. We got asparagus & baked potatoes to complement our meals.
