We visited Mo’s House for the first time and unfortunately, the experience didn’t leave us wanting to return. As new customers, we had no idea the main entrance was on the side, not the front. The front door was locked, and with no signage to guide us, it was a confusing start—not a huge deal, but definitely not the best first impression.
Once inside, there was no hostess or clear direction, so I stood there awkwardly until a waiter finally told us we could seat ourselves. He was polite enough, but never introduced himself or made much effort beyond that.
I ordered a Sazerac, and it was extremely sweet—not balanced at all. I’m usually a fan of that cocktail, but this version just didn’t work for me. We had planned to hang out and try a few more drinks, but after the cold start and the disappointing cocktail, we decided to cut the visit short.
Maybe it was just an off night, but as a first impression, it just didn’t feel warm or welcoming. Not sure I’d go back.
