"Recognized by its distinctive green exterior, this small-sized Midwest Irish pub chain has two locations in Houston and College Station. The Vintage Park location has an all-day food menu with dishes like a Jameson-glazed chicken, fish and chips, and bar favorites like fried cheese curds, burgers, wings, and sandwiches. Whether you’re stopping by for a breakfast pint to watch some Premier League, exploring the wide array of craft and import beers late into the night, or taking in some live music, there’s a little bit of everything here that makes it more than your run of the mill pub." - Sean Hekmat

"Mo’s Irish Pub boasts a TV view from every seat, so there’s really not a bad spot in the house. Check its Facebook page for hours of operation during the World Cup. The bar will open early on select days and offer $3 Bud Light Drafts during all the games." - Alaena Hostetter

Always a great place to stop by for a drink or food. Good ambience, friendly staff and good music. Fun Patio to sit and enjoy the nice spring weather Staff on the slow side, but it was a Monday and they were short in personal. But food was SO good and fresh ! ☺️ Been there for St. Patrick, it’s fun but to eat at a table might be a little hectic and slow of course because it’s a party day! 🥳🍀🍀

Dang, this place is good! Just stopped by on my way to the airport. Got the shepherd's pie and the fish and chips. Both were some of the best dishes of their kind I've ever had. It's an hour away but I will come back to this place just for the shepherd's pie. Our server was awesome and the place is super cool, IF you can get over the fact that it's a Green Bay Packers bar. I'm not sure I can... 😅 Just playing!

Stopped in on New Years Eve for dinner with friends. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. Food was very good. We had the sampler, a baked chicken special and a burger and everything was great. Refills were timely and on point. Great experience all around.

Google
Good combination of food and atmosphere to watch a game. Had the salmon. Look out: the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream is HUGE! Amber was great: knowledgeable and attentive!

Google
It's an Irish themed bar. You're gonna see the flag of Ireland, occasionally you'll hear bands from Ireland play on the stereo, and it's called a pub. It's a bar, has a decent spread of good food for a bar, atmosphere is very relaxed but the staff is usually on point. Has a nice patio section for when the sun is down or the weather is nice, live bands makes this a stage some evenings and really makes some noise. Unless you want a fancy drinking experience this place will do you solid for whatever your bar needs are, sit at the bar, high tops, booths and tables. Surprise, they also have a breakfast menu...

Google
This is a great location, and very large bar with plenty of room inside and out. They have a lot of TVs covering all sports, and in view of everyone. The food was okay, but there were some other things on the menu that may have been more appealing.

Google
We don't live that close but would hands down make the drive to come again! The shepherds pie and fish and chips were amazing. I know tastes vary but for me it was the best fish for fish and chips that I've had! It's more of a sports bar atmosphere than anticipated but not in a bad way. Glad we found it!

I’ve been going to most since they open up and used to be a nice place to come over for drinks, food and mingle with friends, but in the last few years is been going downhill and now that Randy is not there anymore, he got worse. The food sucks. The service is bad and there is a new crowd of people that are different loud they got no respect so for me it’s time to look for a new place so A lot of people they used to be old customers they move someplace else too. I guess that I’ll follow them.

Yelp
Mo's is in our regular rotation, so we eat there quite a lot! Foods that we love... My husband can make a meal out of their four cheese nacho dip. (And they are always wonderful to accommodate with a few more chips to finish off the bowl.) My fave is their Chicken fried tenders platter. It is enough for two meals! Hint: heat leftovers up in the oven and order the gravy on the side for later. The only drawback for me is that Mo's is incredibly loud. Yes, I know it's a sports and Irish bar, but every once in a while it gets a little intense. But that's my issue not theirs. Just be aware it's not the place for an intimate conversation. When I don't mind the noise it's always great to hear one of their wonderful live bands out on the patio. The wait staff is always wonderful and attentive no matter how busy they are. I particularly enjoy their trivia nights and sitting at the bar with my hubby while he watches sports and I chill with trivia or my iPad. The bartenders and Waite staff are pretty well seasoned so the service is always top-notch. Insiders Secret... A great place for Easter and Mother's Day brunch. It's never crowded because it's kind of an unconventional place to go, but the buffet and food is always on par! Takeaway: everything on the menu is great. Be prepared to take some home with you and enjoy the next day. If there's a live band on the patio, definitely try and grab a seat outside and enjoy!

Yelp
We are regulars at Mo's Irish Pub, as the food is always delicious and the service is always friendly and fast. Today I had the dry rub cajun wings and the chicken fried chicken. The wings are heavily seasoned, maybe salty for some but perfect for me. The chicken fried chicken was perfectly fried, gravy and mashed potatoes were good. We love Mo's!

Denise L.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to eat that's out of our norm... As we drove past, we heard a live band, and they were really good, so here we are. We had a really good dinner and got to listen to some really good live music, Cross Eyed Cat. Weird name, but good live band. Everything from Petty to Strait to John Mellencamp. Totally my vibe. The service ended up good, didn't start that way as we had to seek out a server, but Alanna pulled it out out, wtg ! Fish and chips were awesome, as was the shepherds pie. Glad we heard the music and stopped in.

Alana F.

Yelp
I love the food here! My favorite item would have to be the chicken strips! Omg the breading they use for these is something else! They have a small sweet taste to them, I get them with the whiskey sauce for dipping. They also have great soups and salads. Love the tomato soup here, it's nice thick and flavorful. Drinks are great as well. Services is hit or miss, so if you're coming on a lunch break I'd make sure to let them know you have limited time. Lastly, they have a monthly inflation special, where they feature one item on the menu for $5. Last month it was breakfast tacos, one time it was chicken strips, this month it's spaghetti and meatballs. Definitely stop by for a drink and some good food.

Yelp
When you walk in the door the atmosphere says bar and grill with an Irish influence. Being that I'm part Irish I really wanted to try this place. We ordered the Jameson Salmon which disappeared quickly because the taste was so good but I love the cheeseburger shalaylee. The server was good also so I have no complaints. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the beer I tried was not great but that was not totally tier fault.

Margaret K.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I came by for drinks and had the nachos after we got our nails done at Venetian Nails next door. The service was amazing and food was great! I will definitely be back. We loved the atmosphere and we are both Astros fans so the game was on!! Yes, win win! Try them out!

Doug C.

Yelp
I really enjoy going to Moe's especially they're happy hour. The food the drinks and all the varieties of the beer are fabulous and if you're lucky you get to hear music sometimes.

M.A. B.

Yelp
Always fun at Mo's for fish and chips. Good music - very lively but away from the band it's still possible to hear your dinner partners.

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Great Sandwiches and Fish and Chips live the tomato basil soups 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich

Syndy L.

Yelp
Our server, Claudia was exceptionally attentive, making it a nice dining experience. Our meals were tasty.

D S.

Yelp
Food is ok tipkle bar food. Fun atmosphere staff could be a bit friendlier. When they get busy, it seems they don't even try to smile . Over all fun place

Tenaya S.

Yelp
We stopped into Mo's Irish Pub for an early dinner. As always, we enjoyed the laid back, casual atmosphere and the friendly service. We started with the Cajun wings. My husband loooves the Cajun wings. They're really good - crispy and seasoned well. Fun fact: When my Dad visits from out of town, he asks to come to Mo's just for the Cajun wings lol. For dinner, I had the Farm House Salad. It was topped with a generous portion of crispy, delicious chicken and it wasn't fussy or full of unnecessary garnish (minus the onions I removed). Just an all around solid food move.

Yelp
Came in and sat down today at a high top table near the bar area at 3:04 pm. No one came to wait on us. The guy and girl bartenders noticed us sitting there, made eye contact. After 10 min of being ignored we left. Terrible service.

C. D.

Yelp
I really enjoy the food at this place and they have some fun bands and a great patio to see them.

PJ B.

Yelp
we went for breakfast a month ago. our order was quickly taken and our beverages arrived. About 5 minutes later a second couple arrived to the same service. We waited and tried to find our server to no success. Finally after 45 minutes we left, still looking for the waitress and our food with no explaination of what was happening. we then found out it was under new management and this was the new normal.

Tom L.

Yelp
Been going to Mo's for a quick bite and beer for many years...nothing special but generally ok. The last time the service was so poor I won't be going back and it's the first time I left $0 for a tip. I'd don't expect a lot but it wasn't even busy and it took 25 minutes to get a beer and we were seated in the bar area. No point in hashing through the details...if you go here just sit AT the bar otherwise go somewhere else.

Don M.

Yelp
Minimal food as they ran out of rolls. No price adjustment was offered after bringing it up to waitress

Kim R.

Yelp
I must say... I was super surprised at the food at this place. It was wonderful. I started with fried pickles. They were fried perfectly, nice crispy and not greesy. So, that was good. But let's face it, fried pickles isn't where it's at. Most places make decent fried pickles. For my main, I ordered the Shepherds Pie. OMG!!! It was outstanding. The beef was tender and all the vegs were perfectly cooked. I'd order it again for sure. My friends had a salad that also looked nice and fresh. They said that it was really good too. My ONLY complaint is... the service wasn't great. But I'm going to chalk that up to the fact that they were full because the World Series was playing. I plan to go back real soon and try them again, and you should too.

Che K.

Yelp
Every time I come here it's just a blast! I'm a member, and their rewards program is one of the best I've seen. Every single thing I get here is so good, except the nachos, not a fan of the nachos. My favorite are the chicken tenders, onion rings, shepherds pie, and pretzel. EVERY SERVER IS AMAZING. The GM is super kewl. Always says hello to everyone. A true "neighborhood bar" The patrons that go here are classy, fun, and welcoming!

lori s.

Yelp
Had a blast playing music bingo! Every other Tuesday you can get your game on. I won a round and had fun singing with the songs! We had shepherds pie and French dip sandwich. Both were good!!! We started with buffalo wings and they could have been cooked a little longer. I like crisp skin and these were a bit flabby. Maybe next time I'll ask for a double fry. All in all a good time!

Yelp
Stopped into Mo's Irish Pub after a long day of house hunting. We wanted some good beer and some comfort food in a nice pub like atmosphere. Mo's had a pretty good selection of craft beer and as many of you already know, we don't do domestic beer. My wife chose one of her favorites, the Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing and I went with the S.D. Tasty AF Peanut Butter Stout. Both great beers. The atmosphere was more low end sports bar than Irish Pub but it would work for that evening. I ordered The Mo's Burger, two patties with corned beef, applewood smoked bacon with Killarney sauce and fries. A good burger with some a lot of flavor and the fries were hot and crispy. My wife went with the Santa Fe chicken Sandwich with onion rings. She really enjoyed the sandwich and especially enjoyed her onion rings which is something that is really hard to impress her with. Overall, Mo's wasn't a bad place, although the service that night was a bit slow and lack luster. Our waitress was definitely lacking in personality department. The food was really very good and next time we are in the area and in the mood for some good beer, we will absolutely stop back in.

Jade J.

Yelp
I hate to give them such a low rating as the food is actually pretty good and they have a dog friendly patio - BUT - every single time we come here it's the slowest service ever. Like they'll hardly be any customers here, and yet it takes 15-20+ minutes for anyone to even acknowledge us (usually I have to grab someone and let them know we exist), then another 15-20 minutes to get drinks and order. So if you're down to wait potentially an hour to get served with drinks, then great. For us, it's happened almost a dozen times now that we've been here so sadly we won't be back.

Jed A.

Yelp
Epic failure. Worst service I've ever had. Place is nearly empty at lunch and they can't wait on you or serve a decent meal. If you go here good luck.

Erika H.

Yelp
I love this place. The location is great, right in Vintage Park, and the staff are very friendly and respectful. I know a lot of boomers come here or people come to drink mostly, but the food is varied and not bad for bar food, so much so that I'd come here to eat a meal even if I didn't want a drink! They have a pretty good collection of mixed drinks that rotates every so often, and they are usually pretty good and decently creative. The crowd is mixed, young and old, and they often have events on the weekends like live music, dancing, and even the occasional Elvis impersonator! This place is very dear to my family and we'd hate to see it ever go so please support this business!

Dennis M. J.

Yelp
I gave Mo's one more chance today. I haven't been in months after a series of poor service experiences. I walked in around 12:45pm to a sparsely crowded restaurant, with no one greeting me, and sat at a table. And sat. And sat. I finally got up and left after 10 minutes of being ignored. Needless to say, there will be no third chance.

Tony R.

Yelp
My wife and I came here, Exploring the area for good places to eat, from the outside this place look nice, so we figured we'd give it a try. The ambience is that of a typical stereotype of an Irish pub with a slight corporate feel to the decor. The restaurant was clean, but that's where it ends. The wait staff were too busy on their electronic devices or posturing and flirting with each other in some primal, primitive mating rituals to attend to their customers. The food was OK but on the bland side, not enough to warrant a second visit. My biggest complaint with the food was that I had ordered the homemade chicken soup, When I spooned up A mouth full of soup I found a curved, sharp, talon like bone about 2 inches long in the soup. When I notified the waitress of my potential choke hazard discovery, my intention was for her to be able to let the cooks in the kitchen know so they would be more careful when making the soup. Her immediate response was that the manager is not going to comp that. No apology, no let me make them aware, nothing other than the manager is not going to comp that. Needless to say we will never be back!!

David L.

Yelp
Loud, noisy, sub-par food. Waitstaff ignores your table, just not a pleasant experience.

Jeremy T.

Yelp
This restaurant was alright. It's a sports bar serving some Irish style and American food. I have a lot of experience visiting these types of restaurants when I travel all over the US for work. They're usually a laid back place to grab some ok food when you're too tired to go far from your hotel, or you're looking for a decent beer selection. Every now and then you will run across one with really great burgers. I heard few years ago they sell the most alcohol of any bar or restaurant in the spring area. That was at least before covid hit. In all the years I had lived in NW houston, a few different times, I had never visited this place. But I finally did. I came on a Friday evening early and not on a 3rd Friday when they have crawfish during the springtime. The menu is a 1 page menu and laminated, They also have a cocktail menu and a beer menu. I was thinking I'd find a brown ale on the menu, but sadly they didn't have one. I was tempted by the fresh burger with double patties so I ordered that. For $11.50, for the basic burger, you get two 3.5 oz patties, lettuce, tomato and red onion. You also get 1 side for this price. So I chose the chicken and rice soup. I know, weird combination too alongside a burger, but I'm not eating fries this year and I don't like salads.. Mo's burger is a fresh burger and is fairly close in value and quality to Hopdoddy in the same shopping plaza. Their basic 5 oz burger is now about $8.25 and it doesn't come with a side. Over, it was a decent experience. Not as lively as I was expecting, maybe I need to visit at other busier times.

Samantha L.

Yelp
Here currently for the World Series game 6. The manager is a D!5k!!! We have 21 adults here and 4 kids and he's complaining that he can't use the tables for other party's, we are ALL ordering and about to drop at least $1k on drinks and dinners and his staff can't even handle the amount of business he has now. It's taking 20min to get a drink and over an hour for food. And there was just a roach that ran across the floor. We will be contacting corporate. Not to mention the manger looks like he just rolled off the couch. and GO ASTROS!!! Edit: the manager kind of apologized, sent a few drinks- 4 to be exact and cookies, then continued to try and explain why he was so upset to begin with. After personally speaking with him, I am pretty sure he is on the spectrum. While we know he can't help that- it is obvious this management position isn't the best fit for him. The waitstaff were amazing, above and beyond. The drinks and food were okay. Corporate you need to find a new manager.

Alexis R.

Yelp
We stopped in for a couple of beers at the bar and decided to stay for lunch. The Jamerson burger and Shepards Pie were both delicious! Definitely recommend substituting loaded Mashed potatoes on top of Shepards Pie. We went on a Wednesday and the beers were on Happy Hour, how awesome! They also have Touchtunes, so we had fun with that

James C.

Yelp
So Last Night I went to one of my Favorite Restaurants in Vintage Park Called MO's Irish Pub to celebrate my good friend and The number one best Elvis Tribute artist in Texas Mr Vince king it was his Big Birthday Celebration it was so much fun I tried their bacon cheeseburger for the first time it was so good 5 stars & The service lady was really funny And I've always loved the look of Mo's everything is clean and the manager Randy is really nice

Aaron P.

Yelp
Went on Sunday Night at 7:00 pm and it was seat yourself. We sat where others were and waited. It wasn't busy. Was asked twice if we had been helped and we said no and just sat. Waited for 20 minutes with no help so we left. New to Houston and trying out places near our house. Won't try again. Too many good places with good service to go somewhere with no service.

Anthony G.

Yelp
This place used to be great. The waitress was sweet but didn't know what she was doing. That's a management and training issue. The food portions are getting tiny. I'm posting a pathetic picture of the fried pickles. There were like 10 of them sitting on top of shredded lettuce; I guess to make it appear fuller. I asked for the manager, and he came and apologized. But that's all he did. He didn't offer to give me a refund or anything. He blamed the franchisor and realized the portions were pathetic. Do better Moe's.

John S.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and live music bring us here. Great wait staff makes it an absolute pleasure to come here and just relax. The food is good and well prepared. Portions are perfect, and come with a nice presentation. Jameson grilled chicken breast is our favorite and the veggies are delicious. The restaurant is also great for bar guests who just want a nice mixed drink .., and plenty of big screens for any sports fan. The patio area is large with a small dance area.. makes for a great outdoor evening. We enjoy coming here often.

Alex P.

Yelp
Loved this place! We came for some snacks and beer on a random Sunday afternoon. Our server explained they were short-staffed, but was just so sweet, patient and recommended some delicious appetizers. I didn't get her name but she was wonderful. We had onion rings and boneless wings - because our server told us there was a chicken shortage! - and they were DELICIOUS. We got Buffalo and Jameson something flavor on our boneless wings. Sooooo good. So good. The onion rings were perfectly cooked and not too much breading or anything. So yummy! Beer was cold and the atmosphere was great. We'll be back.

Bubba C.

Yelp
So many issues at this poorly run business! The only reason I went here was that my daughter requested it before she left town, but we all regretted that decision! First of all, the service is horrible! I should not have to get up and refill my own drink order. Secondly, my order coming out of the kitchen was wrong. That's just attention to detail... Either my waiter goofed or the kitchen is probably run. But the clincher for me and the reason I will not ever return to this restaurant is the number of roaches in the men's restroom. That's very close to the kitchen, so I can't even imagine how many are in the kitchen!

Maritza Z.

Yelp
Mo's has a great beer selection! Food is actually delicious. Fave dishes: tomato soup with their grilled cheese sandwich & they even have a spicy version & it's yummy if you like spicy The salads are fantastic grilled chicken was not dry. Would have given them 5 stars if they served hash browns with their breakfast. California Benedict and chicken & waffle were both tasty. They have a GREAT patio; which is perfect during COVID.

Jasmine H.

Yelp
Great $5-$6 shots! Service was decent. Restaurant has live music so it can get a bit loud sometimes. Bartenders aren't aware of when to cut a customer off since a two sheriffs had to drag a lady out. I would've held them legally responsible but that just my opinion.

Shirley J.

Yelp
First time at this MO's location. Lunch time crowd of mostly senior citizens, of which I am a member. I ordered French dip sandwich with a salad for my side. My salad was warm when delivered, I should have sent it back. I hoped I would not get ill after eating it. French dip sandwich was pretty bland. The dip was very salty. My husband had the fish and chips. Fish was crispy served with plan French fries. We had water to drink. Server was very attentive. If we go back it probably will be happy hour.

Susie M.

Yelp
I WISH Mo's was actually trying to be an Irish pub and not some amalgamation of pub and American sports bar. They would be so much better trying to be an actual pub. Service was okay, food and drinks mediocre.

Don R.

Yelp
The Bartenders know how to serve Guinness. Would like to have heard some Celtic music!

Dr. Alejandro M.

Yelp
My wife and I went to their Vintage Park location on 11/17/23 for late night drinks and a snack. We were lucky enough to get Mattie N. as our waitress. Attentive, quick to let us know certain things regarding our orders, just sweet. She stopped by before we left to chat. We found her to be endearing and we will ask for her the next time we stop by. The drinks were good and strong, the spinach dip was tasty as well.

Mitchell S.

Yelp
Great beer and food - highly recommend the house special, the Mo's Brew along with the Mo's cookie. Jimmy is the greatest server of all time and truly makes the place special - no other server tolerated our Mo jokes (I'll have one mo, etc.) quite like he does. If you time your trip right, you can see the legendary Vince King in action.

Btisam D.

Yelp
Last week, I was at MO's Irish Pub Vintage park with some friends and I was shocked when one of the managers was yelling at a server girl there loundy in front of all the customers. He was a short guy looking for attention. This behavior was uncalled for and we left the place with the intention to never go back there again!!! The corporate should check the floor managers/GM about allowing this behavior towards their employees.Has any one ever faced this type of issue at this restaurant?

TaNia B.

Yelp
This place has fallen off SOOO much it's really sad. We arrived at 1:00 and a waitress didn't acknowledge us until 1:05... it was empty in the place. We literally watched our server go to a table then hide in the kitchen go to a table and then hide in the kitchen. We had to GO UP TO our waitress to get the check and to go boxes. The service is HORRIBLE I will NOT BE RETURNING- I really hope they get this together.

Everett D.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, lots of variety on the menu, prompt service w/ courteous wait-service people, and reasonably priced.

Bryan T.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years. I sat in the bar area after passing the sign that says "seat yourself". After 10 minutes of sitting there by myself with no recognition of me being there I tried to look at the menu by scanning the QR code. It wouldn't work. I waited a few more minutes and decided to leave. (Still no service)

Chris P.

Yelp
Closed 20 minutes before their posted closing time, then the manager argued about the closing time

Emma G.

Yelp
Have been here several times. great location, environment, service and food. Alyssa is awesome! above and beyond service and professionalism

Reece D.

Yelp
GENERAL MANGER TREATS STAFF HORRIBLY I worked at this location for about two months until I had enough of the horrible management. I started working at this location the beginning of August, so not very long, but this job has been the worst management I've ever had. Within the first month alone I had multiple horrible experiences with the General manager Randy who is very arrogant and inappropriate. (I'm not the only worker who has had multiple issues with him as well.) First of all within the first week he called me a "retard" because I didn't know how to do something that wasn't shown to me in my training process. Next, I had asked to take some time off to attend a funeral in another state and gave a months notice because I had a death in the family, to which his response was "are you 12?" and said " it's ridiculous for you to take that amount of time off. "When my brother died I only took off one day of work". When he also had previously just let another server leave for a two week vacation, no questions asked. I realize with how new I was, I shouldn't be taking time off but I thought an exception would be made for a death in the family. Regardless, Randy gave no condolences, which I thought was very rude and abnormal for someone to do. Because I decided to go, he took me off the schedule as being a bartender and I was only able to be a server after. Another incident was when I was a server to an extremely rude couple who I was actually very attentive towards-I was continually bringing them drinks and food throughout the night and checking up on them-and I had multiple servers vouch for me about that. But, the last five minutes the couple was eating, I had to go do something in the back then I came back and I asked him if they were ready to close out and then the man very rudely started bickering at me telling me I took too long, even though it was five minutes, and proceeded to write no tip in bold across my receipt then left. The next day this man apparently wrote a review saying that I only tended to them once in the two hours that they were at the restaurant, which couldn't be further from the truth. My General manager Randy, called me in his office, accused me of hiding the receipt from him and told me that I was lying about hiding it from him, even though we don't hold on to the receipts that don't have tips on them. Nor would I have a reason to hide the receipt. He ended up voiding the guys meal and told me I owed him $70 for it. I spoke to other servers that said that they've had similar experiences with him. One server had told me she had had a group of people with a tab of over $100 worth of alcohol that walked out on her, and he tried to make her pay for it (she's also not 21 and can't even legally buy alcohol )Another instance was when I started working at MO's I was 3 months postpartum, and Randy had said to me "How do you look like that when women who have kids don't look good and look messy and gross."which I found extremely offensive for him to even make a comment like that. I've also spoken to multiple of the servers who had claimed Randy had made very inappropriate comments on their bodies. Telling one sever that she "had a fat **s. Lastly there was a time I asked him if he had wanted some food that I rang in wrong which to his response was "no I don't want Mexican cooties" because of the chefs. Joke or not that should never be said in a "professional work environment". He has made multiple remarks like this. Not only is it racist but extremely childish. I feel for all the workers, because they are all amazing and deserve much better management. Randy puts on a major facade in front of guests. Multiple people have spoken up about this to corporate including me but unfortunately nothing has been done about it. 2 other servers quit for the same reason as well.
