Mosaic Restaurant & Bar

I decided to check out this spot for a nice Sunday lunch. I was having a hard time deciding what to order until I saw this burger come out of the kitchen, and I instantly knew what I was getting. I went for the BBQ Bacon Smash Burger, and I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while! The fries were on point too, fresh and flavorful. To wash it all down, I went with a Cayman Mojito. It wasn’t bad, and the mango pieces were a nice touch!

Well I've been here a few times and this day I decided to try the shrimp fettuccine. I have to say it wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped. I was expecting better seasoning for the prices paid. However , it did come with an acceptable amount of shrimp. I was expecting maybe 5-6 shrimp but had at least 9 shrimp included. The service was not the greatest, our waiter was not present except for the drinks upon sitting and to bring the check. Another server actually delivered the food to our table. As for as the atmosphere, it was a nice environment with good live music entertaining all guests. All in all I will come back in the future but this may not be my first option. Hope this helps anyone who's been looking for somewhere to have a bite !

I got two drinks, a Cayman Mojito and a blackberry Margarita, both were excellent! I ordered a BBQ smash burger and sweet potato fries. The fries were amazing. However, the burger that came out was a normal smash burger instead of the BBQ one. I notified the staff and he took it away and 30 minutes later out came the exact same burger with a new top bun (I know it was the exact same because I had taken a bit out of it and cut it in half before I sent it back, the "new" one had my bit mark and was cut down the middle except the top bun) the place was super busy and I was starving so I said whatever and ate it anyway, it was decent. Not wamhat I was craving or what I paid for, but it made the hunger stop, and it wasn't awful. The staff was very busy and checked on us a small amount of times, very slow. This place is always packed, so I wasn't suppressed it took a while for things. The atmosphere was lovely and the music was nice as well. I 6 go again all in all.

We stopped by for the first time to check it out. We had amazing service. Addison gave awesome service. Thanks for the great service. We had a few drinks, chips and salsa. I've heard they have really good pasta. Might try tonight. Good variety of beer on tap. They also have great live music. The restaurant is kept really clean. Thanks again. This place is amazing in all no matter what.The cheese sticks were good so were the fry’s. Great service perfect staff . Pina colada tastes great overall every place should be this good. Price isn’t that high for a family of three and food quality was terrific. We would come again if I could. All five stars

Very funky place! Stopped for a drink while exploring Ocean Springs. Then stopped outside on the way out to listen to a few songs from the live band. Old fashion and craft cocktails were good!

Taking a toddler out as the third wheel of your anniversary date night is not the stuff most parents dream of. But! The band, the atmosphere and most especially the service was so incredible that we had a wonderful time. Honestly one we probably will dream of! When we arrived the wait staff was kind and engaging to our very outgoing toddler. A chair was supplied for him immediately and we were offered a cup of water for him. No one minded that we were dancing and walking him around the patio. In fact, the hostess magically produced a maraca for him to play along with. Everyone was considerate and welcoming throughout. We had a great night and will definitely be back! I also want to recommend the green tea martini. It was fantastic.

Amazing food, service, outdoor patio, and good live entertainment make this restaurant a shining gem in Ocean Springs. The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the high quality food. Our meal: The Asian Lumpia Rolls we started with showed that the chef is creative, talented, and ensures only the highest quality creations are served. We immediately knew that we’re in for a memorable dining experience. The BLT Panini was a unique, and delicious adaption of a classic BLT in both flavor and texture. The Pimento Smash Burger was a game changer for me. The house-made pimento and perfectly cooked, crispy, flavorful, and juicy burger patty have made my personal Top 3 International, not just US gourmet burgers list. The accompanying fries and sweet potato fries were nothing short of perfect in portion, taste, and texture. The draft beer selection and craft cocktails were made and delivered with care and pride. We cannot wait to return and try the other delectable creations!

we stopped by for a drink after a night in ocean springs. we were promptly greeted by our server and she did a great job taking our orders and making recommendations. we sat on the patio and enjoyed the live music. looking forward to a return visit when we are ready for a meal.

Drunk people food. Hit and miss food. Depends on the cook I guess. What is wrong with consistency?! Been here 8 times and only enjoyed it once! I grew up on bland, tasteless food. I grew up on overcooked, over seasoned and dry food. Mosaic has it all. American food truly is Burgers, pizza, nuggets and fries anything above that is complicated. Drink,(drunk)eat and be merry. Salty chicken quesadilla, horrible Asian lumpia rolls and an over cooked overpriced burger. Had to send the seared tuna back it was all wrong.

Great place for music and drinks. The music was so great and easy for seating. Everything I tried off the menu was fabulous. The service was fine but we had been there a few hours drinking and listening to music. Definitely will go back for another experience. Also the inside is so cute!!

Mosaics, a downtown ocean springs classic. We came in on a Friday around dinner time, it was super busy but we were seated quickly, the vibe is always as cool as a cucumber here and there was live music outside. If you don't like loud places or if you're trying to chat over dinner, this is not the place to be lol, as we couldn't really hear each other, but again overall cool vibe we would return. We ordered the appetizers below and the pork belly app is my favorite, it was tender, flavorful, and the grits was the perfect add on. Service was ok, the kitchen was backed up the day and our server was updating us - so that's fine stuff happens. We ordered burgers for dinner (not pictured) as we were so hungry and it was a burger with plenty of meat so nothing to complain there.

I am from out of state - visiting family. I have been to Ocean Springs several times over the 20 years that my parents have lived near the Gulf Coast. My mom suggested a trip to Ocean Springs for lunch and browsing. She was familiar with Mosaics, it was my first time. Rounding out our party was my 11 year old daughter. We arrived around noon - and were greeted and seated right away. The dining was outside and it was a perfect day for it. Alysen (our hostess and waitress) was upbeat, bubbly, attentive, and polite from start to finish. We ordered drinks (just sodas & iced teas - but they had an interesting looking drink menu that I would enjoy exploring on a future visit). Looking around, the atmosphere was so laid back. Patrons were eating, drinking, and just hanging out enjoying the food and weather. No body was rushing about but not in a lazy way - just a relaxed way. Our hummus appetizer came out and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a decent plain hummus with toasty pita triangles. My daughter ordered chicken nuggets with a side salad (no onions or tomatoes) and gave it all an 8/10. The salad came with feta and it was her first taste of feta - she's now a fan. From where I sat, the salad looked fresh and the nuggets looked light and crispy. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch panini and my mom got the chicken quesadilla so we could share both dishes. Both items were tasty. The panini was simple but that was its charm. Each ingredient added to it and it was exactly what it said it was. I also got a side salad (no onions) but mine was a Caesar and it was just an average salad. The quesadilla again was simple and delicious. We happened through the inside and it looked like a super cool vibe. All in all - good, simple food and a great atmosphere, and great service.

My family and I came here for dinner on a Saturday around 5:30pm. There was no wait for our party of 4 and we were seated right away. The weather was iffy so I'm glad we got seating under the covered area, especially because shortly after we arrived it began raining. Even with the rain, I love the indoor/outdoor feel of this restaurant! There's a nice breeze and it's quite relaxing. Our fabulous server Avery came over and took our drink and appetizer orders. I ordered a mixed berry mojito and my husband ordered a jungle juice. My first time having a berry mojito and it was so refreshing! We also ordered chicken skewers and lumpia for an appetizer. I didn't try the chicken skewers but the lumpia were delicious! I got a chicken gyro salad and it was done perfectly! Between the light dash of balsamic, tzatziki sauce, red onion, Kalamata olives, feta, and chicken, it was an explosion of flavor! As we ate, there was a band setting up for the evening. Everyone dining seemed happy and worry free. Avery checked on us frequently and refilled our drinks. I'll be back in the future for dinner and more delicious mojitos!

What a fabulous place for lunch in the quaint town of Ocean Springs. The menu is full of yummy choices such an empanada gyros quesadillas and burgers. We ordered the samosas filled with potatoes and covered with chickpea curry and my sister ordered the beef and lamb gyro with a side salad with cilantro lime vinaigrette. Everything was 5 stars even the vinaigrette. They have outdoor seating with an outdoor bar and inside the bar is amazing.

It's been just over a year since the visit. We came in on a Saturday night with15 people. Probably half were kids. We were seated outside at three tables, clustered together. One server came to us. I thought that he and everyone involved were in for a bad night. I was wrong. He did a great job. Like a rock star. An all-American. I wish I could remember his name. Anyway, great service. Food was great. Drinks great. The band- a little loud for dining- was great for dancing after. Awesome experience. Awesome food. Awesome etcetera.

The beer selection is vast, but only inside! The outside bar only had a couple of basic options to choose from. The service was great, but sparse. The staff disappeared for long periods of time. Pork belly appetizer is phenomenal and will have us returning for more next time we're in Ocean Springs!

The food was amazing! My husband and I got burgers and it was super yummy and fries were crispy which is how I like it. I asked for jalapeños on the side and it was perfect. The service was good, the girl who was our server was pretty nice. The vibe was also very chill and we ate outside where there was a stage so I'm sure they do live music as well.

Great spot in downtown Ocean Springs. Stopped here several times last week during the family spring break trip. They have a walk up bar which is one of the coolest spots in town. Stopped there several times for drinks. Great Bloody Mary. They usually have good live music, and the service is great. The food is solid as well, but the coolest spot is the outdoor bar. I highly recommend stopping by the bar for a drink or two.

Came here on a weekday with a coworker. Was very excited to try some of the different beers they had on tap. Had a decent selection but only a few different IPAs I hadn't tried yet. We sat outside on the patio, I had a chicken quesadilla which was very flavorful and delicious , I recommend it. The patio also had a stage for a live band , that was a pleasant surprise to me as well. Decent number of tables to sit at inside and out. Had a bar outside as well as indoors. Restrooms were clean but single stall only so be prepared to wait in a line. Food was delicious but service was very slow , we had to keep an eye out for our waitress to keep calling her over, it felt like she forgot about us. Would come back definitely but service needs to be better.

Excellent food, service & atmosphere! Shrimp Tacos to die for and excellent pulled pork quesadillas! Live music on a Sunday night too was the best.

I've been wanting to try Mosaic for a while. I follow them on Instagram & everything they post looks fantastic. My husband & I decided to have lunch there yesterday. I got the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp & Grits. My husband got the Pulled Pork Quesadillas. Unfortunately my meal wasn't very good. The shrimp was overcooked & the sauce had way too much going on flavor wise. They put a bunch of Rosemary on it which didn't really do much but get stuck in my teeth. I'm big on texture so that bothered me a bit. I was so disappointed because NOLA BBQ Shrimp & Grits is one of my favorite dishes. My husband's Quesadilla came with an aioli sauce on top which he really didn't care for. He said it overpowered the flavor of the pulled pork. Service was ok. The girl that was working the outdoor bar didn't really say much to us. She told us to seat ourselves & another girl came from inside to get our order. The inside of the restaurant & bar area is absolutely gorgeous. The outdoor area would be a great place to hang out when the weather is cooler. I wish the food was better but I would give them another try even though the first visit wasn't that great. Hopefully it's better the second time around.

This place is never good. We have tried and tried. The music is good, and the location is great. But we always have to wait FOREVER for a server and drinks. Got the lemon drop martini, it was so bad. We would be more forgiving if it was slammed busy, but the times we have gone, it wasnt. To bad, its a great location. And when I went to ask the hostess for a server, she just gave me a dirty look and did nothing. Very unprofessional. Just be prepared.

From sitting down to being served our food was 49 minutes. Wait time for the check was just over 35 minutes. Food was alright. Irish coffee was comical. Not coming back.

Waited an hour for a chicken quesadilla and it was small. Waiter didn't bring plates to share so I was bumping heads with my partner trying to eat it. I'm sad.

Mosaics is the spot to go for delicious bites and live music. The pineapple mojitos is a must. I love their chicken Kabobs cooked well and Brussels sprouts. Our favorite Friday night spot to unwind after a long week. Service is also top tier.

Our server was amazing! Live music .. Amazing! Perfect vibes for a couples getaway! The food was good. Had pork rolls, burger and pulled pork sandwich! Preach mojitos we're perfect as well! We will definitely be back!

I brought a friend for lunch and we somehow got the bartender as our waitress. She ran in circles and it took us 30 minutes to get water. Two tables that came after us ate and left before we ever got our meal. We had to put our food in a to-go box. All she cared about was getting us our check.

Ambience and drinks are absolutely incredible. Food choices are minimal, but pretty good. There is typically a live band and lots of happy people here.

Kinda disappointed.. I walked in at 9:20 figuring I could get some food at the bar. When the bartender told me that they were doing last calls, and that the kitchen was closed. Think management should probably fix those hours.

Ambiance was the best part. If you sit inside, you sort of hear the music outside but can still chat-best or both worlds. Food was good, not great. Shrimp and grits was a little spicy but flavorful. We recommend the shrimp remoulade quesadilla.

The restaurant was a little busy but we found refuge in the bar, got the same great food! And enjoyed being inside looking out to the great patio.

A perfect day to sit outside for lunch. Not much going on today so we had a lovely socially distanced table for our meal. I chose the keto-friendly cheeseburger salad, which turned out to be a burger patty with cheese served on top of a bed of romaine with parmesan cheese. Not completely keto (tomatos are technically a fruit) but it was a good portion and I enjoyed it, clearing the plate. With all of that, a beer (oops, not keto) from a local brewery while my friend had fish tacos with wine. Perfect to sit outside today for our last meal together on this trip since she was too tired for dinner and headed home in the morning. Not me, I've got more Gulf Coast to explore! Looking for a different place to eat for our anniversary, we decided on Mosaic. The ambiance was good, but the food was average. We had a mojito that day and it was great - but not real big and lots of ice. Make sure you ask for smaller portions of ice. Anyway, he had the seared tuna and said that it was fresh but the seasoning was just okay. I had the muffaletta panini. It was okay, but there just wasn't much IN it - the filling was very thin and the taste was "whispy" without that full-bodied mouthful of muffaletta that I so enjoy. I guess I expected an over-stuffed sandwich or at least enough meat to go across the width of the bread. The sweet potato fries were good, but there weren't many of them. Disappointing overall. The one thing that was great was the service. The waitress that we had was often at the table and checked in with us before we had our meal to assure us that it was coming and to get us refills. So appreciated! We did like the vibe of the place, as one couple even came in with their goldendoodle and that was just fine. Maybe the attraction of the outside will be better next time (if we ever go) for just hanging out and listening to music. It looked like they were setting up for a band later on that evening.

Do NOT miss the Argentinian empanadas! Bar service was great, with excellent suggestions. Comfortable vibe, and affordable eats. 100% will return soon!

Absolutely will not return. Wife and I went on a Sunday a 4pm. We were sat and waited 10 minutes with no service, no acknowledgment, nothing! Despite a mostly empty room and multiple servers walking by ignoring us while one had a 5 minute plus conversation with their table about how nice New Orleans is. Ridiculous. I highly do no recommend this location unless you need a quiet moment to yourself.

Only 5 stars because that's the limit! The shrimp and grits were off the freakin CHART!!! Atmosphere was perfect and the service was well above expectations!!

I got the pork quesadilla, which came with only the pork quesadilla. It did not say what came on it but if I had to go back, I would say no to the sauce. I would've thought that I would come with a side but it didn't. My wife goto Gyro and it didn't taste or look like it had any tzatziki sauce. She said it didn't have any flavor. The sweet potato fries were awesome though because I had some of hers. However, as soon as we sat down, we waited like 10 minutes before someone asked for our drink order. They walked past us several times, and looked directly at us, but no one stopped until one server came and asked if we wanted something to drink. At the same time they asked for a food order. We will not go back because of the poor service mostly. Our table next to us also did not finish their food.

WAS our favorite in ocean springs. Food and service always good. Music is outstanding. 10 minutes after paying with my Visa, 871.00 was charged to my Visa account. Didn't see the charge till the next day. Someone ordered from Amazon using my Visa. Hate the we don't feel comfortable going back.

Wife and I had a couple cocktails and appetizers while sitting on the patio. They had a great band and the atmosphere was very fun. You get a nice view of the people walking by and both the appetizers and drinks were very good.

I'm an old-timer and I'm struggling to get my head around this place. My wife and I brought the grandchildren here. It's a pretty place to sit and every one is very friendly. But this food is not good. The little ones turned their noses up at even the fries which says a lot. I suggest they change their menu up a bit to fit the climate; less salt, more refreshing choices for these hot summery days in the deep South where we of course are. Take a page from the examples of small, fantastic restaurants (no-frills) set in the tropics where I have traveled quite a bit. Let's see some more tantalizing fare to choose from. Their mojitos here are also quite pleasant , though, to add.

Had a cuban sandwich which was good in terms of taste, but very skimpy on meat. The Lil Market just around the corner has just as good a cuban with 2-3x the amount of meat that Mosaic puts on...and its cheaper too!

We sat out on the patio drinking some craft beer, waiting for the musicians to start playing. Actually, while we waited the musicians were arriving, one by one. When enough guys were there, they decided to have a practice session. This practice session was in front of their audience ! They goofed around, practicing, tuning and tweaking for another 20 minutes, so we just left. I suppose they got started eventually.

Awesome place. Great selection of beers. Menu looks awesome. Did not eat this time but will definitely be back. Johnnie was very knowledgeable of the beer selection and flavors.

Great food. Several friends had the veggie burger and said it was good. My falafel salad was very good. Not sure if the falafel is made in house or purchased from a supplier. The fixins and dressing with lots of fresh greens made this a great filing salad. Service was also great.

Nice place for drinks and to eat outside!!!! The best place to get Seared ahi tuna in my opinion compared to other places I have ate at. Always cooked to perfection. First time trying chicken quesadilla today and wow very impressed. Old fashioned could have been better made but overall still would give 5 stars !

I extremely recommend Mosaic for people that want a nice, peaceful, sit down dinner that you can enjoy. Before we even got our food, I noticed right away that the environment was amazing. It was nighttime and the patio lights were on, the NBA finals were playing, and the local band was fantastic! The waiter was very friendly and had no hesitation helping us out with some recommendations when we were indecisive. When we did get our food, it was absolutly delicious! To start us off we had the seared tuna along with the crab tortas and they were both very tasty. For our first entre, we got fettuccini alfredo and it was like a cheesy, creamy delight. Our second entre was the beef and lamb gyro and it was on point. The flavors were perfectly balanced to create heaven inside of pita bread. Last but certainly not least, we had the caramel churros for desert to top everything off. The churros were a perfect mixture of crunchy, sweet and sort of creamy working together in harmony. Dip them in the whipped cream and they are an excellent duo. I would one thousand percent return and catch another meal here!
