If you want to become a CHURCH GOER, you should come here.
But if you want to be a committed DISCIPLE of Christ and grow with other committed disciples, then you should go somewhere else.
I spent 6 months attending that church and this was my experience. Btw, another committed disciple told me he experienced something similar and that many aspects of the church are just superficial:
- This church doesn't have a good strategy to make disciples, or they probably don't care about making disciples. They probably confirm with having hundreds of church goers.
- There are groups but they only meet for a few weeks, about 3. There's no continuous small group meetings to learn about the Bible.
- There are cliques, and it's not easy to form friendships unless they really like you then they show it
- All the nice things you see are just SUPERFICIAL: the welcome team, the good music, the free snacks, the talented speakers, the pictures and videos on Instagram. It's just superficial. Don't get me wrong, all that is GREAT to have but Mosaic is doing an inefficient job to help disciples grow.
- I noticed most people don't know what steps to take to grow in their relationship in Christ. It looks like they just go for other reasons like just to hang out.
- The few leaders quote on quote (not the pastors) don't have a good preparation
However! They do plan many activities to create community. I do give them credit for it, but still it feels like the Holy Spirit isn't in people's lives.
