Grubhub Says It Didn’t Create Fake Websites Without Restaurants’ Permission | Eater

"A Long Beach deli whose own website appears fifth in search results, with the delivery service’s app page two spots above and a platform-created “shadow” website two spots below that links only back to the platform. The platform-created microsites use a generic template and the same platform-specific phone numbers found in the app, so calls routed through those numbers are recorded and generate commission fees that reduce the restaurant’s revenue. Because the shadow site and app listings can outrank or flank the restaurant’s official site, customers searching for the deli can be steered toward placing orders through the platform rather than directly with the business." - Jenny G. As a connoisseur of anything corn beef or Reuben, related... As soon as I saw the sign, I had to go there. The staff was very friendly and the facility was clean by my Ruben was just okay, as far as Rubens, go.

The place did not appear that busy when we walked in and ordered 3 breakfast burritos. We were not told any wait time for the food but proceeded to sit in a booth and wait for over an hour. We watched as more people came in and they began telling customers wait times were an hour or more. Occasionally there appeared to be take out orders picked up. We got our food after 70 minutes and it was good, but not nearly worth the wait.

Not a Jewish deli at all. I order an Italian club with ham, salami and cheddar. 1st time, they give me a panini. I go back, make sure they understand it's just a club sandwich with no turkey, still with tomato and lettuce and with oil and vinegar. I get the meat and cheese with what I think is Italian dressing and no lettuce or tomato. This is the 3rd time I've been there and the 2nd time am order was completely wrong.

I only wanted to use the restroom, but I was told it was for customers only, but was able to as I informed the waitress I intended to order food and dine in. I ordered the special breakfast A, with two extra fried eggs sunny side up, which is on the offers board with other great offers ! which is located by the entrance to the cafe. I also had a root bear soda soft drink. I would highly recommend you try the food for yourself as it was very tasty and satisfying, I will definitely be eating here again !

Google
I know the sign says corn beef… but have you seen these breakfast burritos!!!?? Combo pork, bacon, and sausage. Hash brown, egg, and cheese and comes with a killer green sauce. Wish I had found them sooner, definitely worth stopping.

Google
Great food and amazing service. Came to LB for a weekend getaway and decided to stop by for a little bite with my wife and little four legged buddy. After looking at all the delicious items on the menu my wife and I decided to go for the Turkey Sandwich, Chipotle Chicken Sandwich, and the Buffalo Chicken Fries (No cheese, no sour cream). They sell alcohol so I went for an IPA. They have an outdoor section in the back so we sat down and had a nice time. The sun was out, the wind was fresh, and once the food came we had a great meal. The woman that took our order even brought a little puppachino for our little guy. If you're hungry and in the mood for some sandwiches or hamburgers, pay this place a visit.

Ah yes, the corned-beef sandwich — a classic. A deli staple. A monument to meat, mustard & mildly questionable heart health. But this one? This one was less "New York deli" & more "gas station adjacent." First off, the mustard. My God, the mustard. It was so yellow I needed sunglasses to stop it from burning my retina! Now the rye bread. Or should I say, "white bread in disguise"? I’ve seen more rye at an Irish wedding. Not a single seed. Not even the ghost of a caraway. It was the rye equivalent of wearing a Metallica shirt & not knowing any of the songs. The corned beef? Listen, I know grocery store meat when I taste it. This was steamed, sure, which is like putting a tuxedo on a raccoon. Fancy, but still a raccoon. I swear I saw the Safeway logo branded into one slice. And the final insult? No pickles. NONE! What am I supposed to do, bring my own? Is this BYOP now? The sandwich felt incomplete, like a movie that ends mid-sentence or a date where they just get up and leave after the appetizers. Anyway, two stars because I didn't die. Would I eat it again? Only if I lost a bet. Or the will to live. Bon appétit… I guess.

Google
PRICE FRAUD ALERT Prices are much higher than listed on THIER OWN website. The manager said “We don’t control Google”. 😂😂😂 When I said it was not Google, it is thier website she said “Well everything is expensive these days” I brought my family here based on thier website. Had to pay about 20% more than advertised and then they asked for a tip! I had no choice but to eat there since my family had walked a distance and were grumpy. I hope they didn’t spit in my food!

Yelp
My entire food journey started in a Columbia, Maryland food court at The Mall and a grilled Reuben at the age of 13. Since then the grilled Reuben has been my measuring stick for every restaurant that serves it. It's a must! It shows the attention to detail. It's not a sandwich you can rush. It requires its own time to caramelize and set the flavors up properly. Just like a house made soup, a Grilled Reuben can tell you a lot. And, it just happens to be my favorite sandwich of all time! So. High marks on the store itself. It has a very open air feel, lots of natural lighting, high ceilings and then a hidden court yard behind the shop. It's very clean with lots of colors and art. The music is perfect for the space. The menu is varied and they have both alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks. It's a deli. And they absolutely fill the roll perfectly. And as anyone will tell you, who frequents any deli in the country. What matters is the food. Period. All the niceties mean nothing if the food distant stand up. So... how did they do? Meh. I've had worse. Much worse. I've also had much better. And understand his is my personal opinion. I'm well aware that my comments will not reflect the opinion of everyone. But, the corned beef. They do not cook it in house. It didn't appear to be a brisket although with it being shaved as thinly as it is I don't know if that would help. Brisket corned beer works best when it's nice thick beautiful cuts that break apart and melt in your mouth. But. As you can see in the picture, they don't grill the corned beef but they do pile it pretty darn high. Which is nice. The sauerkraut wasn't grilled. The rye wasn't roasted long enough so the Swiss didn't properly melt and set. Not enough Thousand Island dressing. The rye has the perfect texture and it helps to very nicely. An excellent Jewish rye! The pesto pasta salad was very nice. And it looked as if the other sides were made with an equal amount of attention and love. So high marks there. This is one of those tough reviews because the reality is the atmosphere, the staff and the location are all excellent. The sandwich needs some work. Remember that the Grilled Reuben is the ONLY TRUE American Sandwich. It was created from scratch for the 1942 World's Fair in New York City. It's an original! Treat it with the respect it deserves. And this three star sandwich... of all sandwiches is a hard pass. Sorry. But, if you would ever like to have me come into your restaurant and show you how to serve the best Reuben of your life... just invite me back. I'd love to show you how to make some simple tweaks and turn a meh into a don't miss!

Yelp
Awesome food. I had the green chilaquiles and they were amazing! Spicy and great flavor!!

Yelp
Incredibly rude disrespectful staff and aside from that the establishment was disheveled, dirty, unorganized and lacking in hospitality. Instead of ordering their obviously lackluster food from a dirty grill/stove top/kitchen area, I decided to take my money elsewhere and I'm glad that I did. I'll never step foot in this place again. Beware. 0/5

Yelp
I tried their hot pastami and was disappointed. They grilled it to heat it and totally overcooked it. The meat quality was also not very good. Certainly not "Gourmet". The portion for the price was also quit disappointing. I expected more for the money I paid. Maybe their corned beef is better but with a heated the way they do the pastrami and I'm not going to try it. It was really hoping that it would be a better experience.

Yelp
Service terrible and rude. Needed to use restroom and charged one water per person. As soon as I came out, lady went in and closed the restroom door in front of my family and I and quoted "one water bottle, one restroom use". For using the restroom, truely unbelievably!!

Yelp
If you're looking for some corned beef in the form of a Reuben Sandwich - this is the place. Nice, clean little lunch spot off the beaten path. I found it by accident. I'll definitely be back

Yelp
So delicious!! We had their breakfast bacon bagel and burrito with bacon, and both were super tasty! Service was fast and friendly!

Yelp
Basically a neighborhood grill, Moshers serves a vareity of sandwiches from breakfast to lunch, with OK prices and good portions. As we were walking back from Pike's, we decided to stop into Mosher's for the first time. The sign clearly states that they specialize in Corned Beef, and since I really like pastrami, decided to get a pastrami sandwich to-go (most places that have corned beef also has decent pastrami as well). I ordered at the front counter first, and decided to go with a Mosher's melt for $11.95. I messed up though...didn't know why I thought it had pastrami...it's basically like a patty melt (has large hamburger patty as the base), with toppings like cole slaw, thousand island dressing and pickles...would have been exactly what I wanted if I had asked for the hamburger patty to be replaced by pastrami. That being said, it was delicious....really well executed with quality rye bread buttered really well to make it very crispy. It does take a while for them to get through any sort of backlog...when I ordered, there were people hanging around waiting for their food. They finally got it about 10 minutes later, and only then did they even start on my sandwich (which took only a minute to make). They also have a dedicated breakfast menu, a large selection of beverages, and specials written on a chalkboard. Reminds me of restaurants that are trying to provide any sort of food that brings customers in, regardless if it fits the original idea that the restaurant was founded on (deli specializing in sandwiches). They do provide table service, as there are many indoor tables and there is a large outdoor courtyard in the back (not many tables though since there isn't much shade). It was all being managed by 1 counter/waitress and two cooks in the back..they were all working hard and pleasant to talk to, which always means a lot.

Yelp
The women at the front was super nice , however thank God I decided to eat here vs taking it back home , I called 20 mins prior and ordered a tuna melt on sour sigh with cheddar cheese . When I opened the box I saw I rye tuna melt with Swiss cheese, that's fine people make mistakes, however when I asked them if they could change my order to what I originally asked for everybody got a attitude with me and was slamming things around and made me feel super uncomfortable. I still said thank you and walked away despite the cooks being super rude to me , never again

Yelp
The service here is always great since I moved here 2 months ago. The ladies are always nice. I've read through the comments about the restroom & even though it is busy or locked sometimes, the workers always open it for me. The food is okay, it's an easy & quick place to grab something to eat. The ambiance is always calm as well. Overall, I like coming here. One persons bad experience doesn't always dictate yours.

Yelp
Came here for a quick bite a few Sundays ago. The place was mostly empty, but it was clean and the woman at the counter was friendly. I tried their 1/2 turkey sandwich and tortilla soup. The sandwich was loaded with meat and the soup was full of fresh vegetables. It was a great deal of food, I could hardly finish it. Recommended for a quick bite to eat!

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp as I was staying at the Renaissance hotel. Quick walk over Friendly staff and the food was delicious. Good portions for the price.

Yelp
This is one of those things that are simply yet utterly fantastic. Something small but can also change your day in a big positive way. Since i got Here to LBC I've been seeing Moshers popping up constantly. Just swiping past it thinking, how good could it really be? This morning when I woke up I saw it again and I gave in and had to order. Living in New Jersey we are spoiled with our variation of sandwiches so I had to try the sausage egg and cheese. When I opened the box I was surprised to see sourdough bread. In New Jersey they usually use a Kaiser roll or a bagel . But this sourdough addition was a game changer. Everything about this sandwich was delicious . From the light crust on the bun, to the crispy hash brown, perfectly fried egg and juicy sausage. I can say with confidence this is THE BEST sausage egg and cheese I have had to this day, anywhere, including New Jersey. I'm still thinking about it. I also got a fruit shake that was delicious as well. Overall I should have gotten from here sooner because now I regret that I didn't . If you visit here please try the sandwiches .

Yelp
Me and my girlfriend have been wanting to desperately try this place for a while now. I came in today 7/12 around 2:29pm and couldn't find parking. And my girlfriend needed to use the restroom. I told her to just go in there to use it since we are going and order and eat and to order our food. When she went there this really rude lady who is Hispanic women with glasses and yellow hair. Told her she won't let her use it and I have to be there even though I'm trying to find parking. My girlfriend explained that I'm looking for parking and still refused to let her use it. It's okay I'll take by money somewhere else who cares for people. This place doesn't! Lucky the next store restaurant called Bruno let her in and we currently we are eating in there instead!

Yelp
Great place for a quick bite to eat. The food is good. I would recommend the chicken salad and breakfast burrito! The service is quick and accurate. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Only down side is the place closest to at 6pm.

Yelp
Went to Moshers this morning. My handicapped granddaughter needed to use the restroom and the old lady that works there didn't want to let her use the restroom. I live in the building and she couldn't wait to go up the elevator to the 6th floor. I used to go here twice a week for breakfast but not anymore. Rude lady don't patronize this place service is terrible.

Yelp
This was the rudest place I've ever visited! They kicked me out after 1 hour because I was charging my phone as a customer. They were also rude to another customer. Please avoid this racist establishment with mediocre food! Who like corn beef anyway 0 STARS

Neil A.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. Not only when we showed up with eight people to an empty restaurant. They act like they didn't even want our business and seem to have an issue with us putting two tables together in the back again with no one there! When the sunny side egg came to the table undercooked and I showed it to her she said you ordered them sunny side up. I said yes, but the egg whites are not cooked. She continued to argue with me, and then I asked for pant aches instead because my friend scrambled eggs weren't even scrambled. It was white and there was yellow, and there was nothing in between. The people have the worst attitude ever. I hope they close soon and get replaced with a place deserving of business.

Yelp
The soup is great and when I ask it to be made in a specific way, they made the process super easy.

Yelp
In this particular instance, I wasn't the one who made the decision to go here - a couple months ago, my wife came home from work, said she was walking by here on the way home, realized we'd never tried the sandwiches here, and decided to buy a couple for our dinner, I was just along for the ride. It is funny that I've been to Buono's across the street a jillion times and had never noticed Mosher's (I still haven't been *to* the restaurant, though I should sometime) - sandwiches were good though. The specific sandwiches we tried were the philly cheese steak, which was about what you would expect - no complaints about it, good meat, good bread, overall a good sandwich, and about the size you'd expect. I say that because the Metropolitan, if you're like us, read the menu, and thought it was a similarly-sized sandwich, just more stuffed with toppings... nope, it's a *monster* sandwich that's also still stuffed with toppings. It's the sort of sandwich you dream about - technically pricier than the other sandwiches, but it's also totally sandwich for two people, so pretty reasonable when you factor that in. I'd totally try their other sandwiches, but if I were still splitting two sandwiches with someone, I think they'd *always* be a Metropolitan + something else. We also tried their pesto pasta salad - granted, it's hard to go *wrong* with pesto pasta salad, but theirs was quite good. (Next time we'll probably need a slightly larger container of it, though, if they still have it!) Hopefully I remember they're there this time!

Judith S.

Yelp
Their sign advertises Kosher corned beef but it's a lie. It's merely overly salted, boiled beef. Disgusting.

Yelp
This place is incredible. We live right by it and go 1-2x a week, at least. The portions are huge, the price is right, the food is AMAZING and the staff/service are second to none. My go to is this Turkey sandwich and fries. But I've tried almost everything and nothing is not worth trying! Highly recommend

Yelp
I came here and made a review recently, i liked their onion rings so i went to go get a side and it was a completely different experience today. When me and my little brother walked in the cashier looked us up and down and kept talking with the cook completely ignoring us until they were done speaking. Whilst we were talking it felt like she didn't want to be there and was annoyed at the fact i pressed no tip!! I noticed another older man came in and wanted to order and she was rude to him aswell from what i saw. Rushing him to order barely answering his questions honestly i'm disappointed. The onion rings weren't even as good today as they were last time. Im disappointed. The only good service i got was from the cook telling me to have a good day lol.
google avatar

David A.

Yelp
Solid 4 stars. Reasonable prices and fast service. Condiments were a little difficult to get and got my own. My bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly. I usually order my bacon medium and didn't ask this time, and it came out medium like it should regardless. My over easy egg was, well perfectly cooked over easy. And rye toast was, well, not dry like a lot of other places. I'll be back.

Yelp
This is a small, no-frills deli that's inside a luxury apartment complex. I was stuck in Long Beach during a super busy time (during the Acura Grand Prix) and it was impossible to park without paying $35-40 for parking or go to any restos without a long wait. Since I was just trying to meet a friend and not go to the big event in town, I wanted something more lowkey and didn't want to pay a lot for parking. Instead I found a street meter near the WTC, which happened to be right near this shop. The place was empty when I approached and the menu had some standard items like burgers and sandwiches and (surprisingly) Sloppy Joes. The staff member told me people usually ordered the Reuben sandwiches or burgers, so I went with one of those. For sides, there were a bunch of choices such as fries, potato salad, pasta salad, pesto pasta salad, etc which were in the display case around the corner. What made this a great experience for me was that the food was decent, with large portions, and that there was a huge outdoor patio out back that appeared to be part of the apartment complex. So it felt just like I was eating at home in the back and was perfect because I wanted to AVOID ALL PEOPLE as possible during the chaos and crowds that were happening immediately outside. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to dine here, but for when I just needed a lunch solution, it was spot on and I'm grateful they were there. As I was leaving, I saw a big group of police officers come in and they hung out and ate there for probably an hour or so. From my experience, if you see a bunch of cops eat somewhere they're probably regulars and the place is probably pretty darn good.

Yelp
Service, Food quality and portions were great! We are here for a few days and will definitely be making another stop at Mosher's!

Yelp
I moved here from the east coast...... been in search of a REAL Deli. Moshers is perfect. Great deli atmosphere inside - booths and small tables. Had a Reuben last week and the Matzoh Ball Soup today - both DELISH as was the amazing corn bread that came with the soup!!!!! Can't wait to try Hot Pastrami on Rye and their Corned Beef Hash. This will definitely be my "go-to" stop and it's SO close to my apartment. Thank you Moshers!
google avatar

Yelp
Good Food. Great service every time with a smile. I don't eat pork beef chicken but their Mazatlán Tuna is great!

Yelp
We have rarely eaten outside of our home over the last 20 months. On my August 12th we decided to head to Moshers on Ocean. We arrived at 7:35. We placed an order & the cashier immediately turned off the big screen TV & told us that the patio had no chairs because they close at 8:00! Well they actually close at 7:39. I know this because it says so on my receipt. No matter how good the food might have been the antics of not being allowed to dine on property was a giant zero! No next time! You gotta do right by every customer every time!

Yelp
Started out with the matzo ball soup. What a treat! Came with a big chunk of sweet cornbread that was a little dry but otherwise delicious. I'm saving the other half of it with tomorrow morning's coffee. The burger and fries were good, the bacon was perfect and the bun didn't fall apart. The pastrami sandwich I ordered came with a big surprise for people who enjoy Kosher food: a big fat slice of very strong white cheese, which was cemented to the rye bread I'd requested. I didn't see any mold but it really tasted like a Roquefort or a blue cheese. It overwhelmed the taste of the pastrami, even with the mustard I requested. I made it through half and gave the rest to my husband for his lunch tomorrow. So if you order pastrami or, probably, corned beef, even though it says nothing about cheese on the menu, be sure to order it without cheese. The Philly Cheesesteak looks good, but the person who ordered it works nights and is still asleep. I'll add to this review when they try it. The cheesecake was delicious but a little warm. I took one bite and sent it to the refrigerator to cool out. We also got two melonades. They're pretty good. We had our meal delivered by Uber Eats and nothing was missing and we got the proper utensils and condiments. I'll definitely order again, but will specify no cheese.

Yelp
Tuesday Sept. 27 I had 30 minutes for lunch so I thought I would try Mosher's Deli and in particular their Corned Beef. Since our internet was down I did not have the convenience of on line ordering so I took the 10 minute walk from my office. When I arrived there was no other customers in the ordering area. I ordered Corned Beef on Rye with a side of Cole Slaw. While waiting another person arrived from the back entrance. I waited for a good 10 minutes for my sandwich and was getting a little concerned since I only had 30 minutes. So when the lady motioned me that it was ready I grabbed my bag and rushed back to the office just barely clocking in on time. I was surprised not to "smell" corned beef when I opened the bag and was shocked to find that I had been given the wrong thing. I the container was a grilled sandwich of turkey slices you could find at a supermarket, some kind of cheese along with sliced jalapeño peppers and mayonnaise oozing out of all four side. On the side was a bow tie macaroni salad. I am sure that this gastronomical combination is a delight to someone but to me the smell, the look and the disappointment of having paid for Corned Beef on Rye was enough to cause my stomach to churn in disgust. Since I didn't have the time to return the mistake and I wasn't about to put it in my stomach I threw it away and sit here eating stale chips from a vending machine. There are two victims to this story. The person who ordered a turkey melt with jalapeno peppers and side of macaroni salad is probably just as disgusted as I. Needless to say I will not go back and have already warned others in my office to steer clear of Mosher's!

Yelp
Everything was very well seasoned and came out really fast! The place is super cute to eat in as well. Nice lunch to have after an early lecture

Yelp
On vacation from Sacramento and was looking for a place within walking distance to the Pike and Hyatt. Family had breakfast, and burgers. Lunch burger and fries were $12 and the burgers were BIG AND SATISFYING. Fries were crispy and plentiful. Bacon thick and perfectly cooked. Pancakes were fluffy and BIG. Service was friendly and efficient. Just a 6 minute walk from the Hyatt Centric through some fancy condos. All in all a great place and a really good alternative to the big box restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Very yummy! Service is nice. Very nice breakfast place, very homey and clean/ simple.

Yelp
We just had lunch here and had the Italian sandwich, it was fresh and delicious. My wife and I ordered together and planned to share and they even split the sandwich in half on separate plates for us without asking. Great service! The lady who helped us was so kind. Music in the restaurant was great and inviting. We'd definitely come back again!

Yelp
Mosher's is perfect if you want to catch a deli sandwich. I ordered the corned beef melt on rye, along with a "green goodness" to drink. The sandwich come with a small side, so I opted for the potato salad. It's all pretty good, and under $10. The green goodness is a juice drink that the gal squeezed fresh. All juice, no pulp. I was tasting more celery than anything else, but it had kale and other good stuff. There's plenty of seating. They have a few small booths and tables inside. From other yelpers, it looks like there's patio seating out in the back, but I didn't feel adventurous enough to check it out.

Yelp
My breakfast was not cooked crispy or truly how I even asked for. I had to go home and recook it but still it was a bust. I wish it was good because I live in the apartments over it but they need new chefs sorry not sorry!

Dinato S.

Yelp
I ordered a corned beef sandwich and it was lunch meat. It was processed meat that should have made it clear, it is not real or fresh corned beef. It was awful

Yelp
Large Metropolitan sandwich is HUGE and hearty; lots of meat and cheese on a soft rolled, pressed/grilled crispy, with 2 pickles. I was awestuck at the size of this sandwich. At $15 it's not cheap but it shows that Mosher's knows about flavor and generosity; it's kind of a homey throwback in that way, which I really like especially because we live in an age where food services companies are squeezing customers for value to maintain profits and curb inflation...for example, companies no longer sell a half gallon of ice-cream (They are 1.5 or 1.25 quarts!). So good on Mosher's for providing tasty food at good value. Look forward to trying some other dishes.

Yelp
Just ordered some Mosher's via delivery because I couldn't leave my house. They had my food ready SO quickly and I'm so appreciative. I got the fish sandwich that came w/fries and a caramel macchiato. Sandwich was huge, not overly breaded and fried well and has this really nice tasty unique sauce and the fries are thick and seasoned well. Caramel macch was also huge and just the right amount of sweet. Would order again and recommend!

Yelp
Yum! I did Uber eats and got the corned beef sandwich with chicken matzo ball soup! Was delicious and fresh! Get the pickles as a side for some freshness, filling and worth it!

Yelp
A new go-to place at my old hood!! Excellent food and service. Breakfast burrito is awesome - no need to hit them places up the street. They got the only one you need here. The metropolitan sandwich is awesome as well are the Mexican plates - impressed at the Chile verde... not all places get the taste right. I'd bet this is not from a can... IPA and the beer glasses are ice cold!! Can't believe that a lonely chevron station was here years ago!!

Yelp
This place was great the prices are good and the food is delicious. The service is also very good. I just think the drinks and juices prices are a bit high but I guess they have to make up for the food prices. Went two days in a row during an event at the con center and will definitely come back if I'm back in Long Beach.

Yelp
kcame here on a sunday very very sloooow service on top of waiting for over 25mins we were told to wait another 20. i got half my bfast waiting on the other half. ridiculous mind you half my bfast while sitting outside by the time i got my pancakes my eggs were cold. what a waste! we were asked if we wanted creamer for the coffee and nvr got it had to get it ourselves it wasn't even busy update... when we were leaving a new customer (white) came in they got their bfast in less than 15 mins. so i guess if you're caucasian you will get great fast service. The lady might or not have been swamped but it did not look like it there was a total of 3 tables while we were there all came in at diff times ...... We did go here in Feb. and the service and the food was great we all got our food at the same time. chicken sandwich was Bomb best chicken sandwich ever! and the bacon burger was delicious as well. It was a young guy working at the time.

Yelp
so i had to call about 1/2 a dozen times before someone picked up. When i arrived i figured the place would be packed since they were too busy to answer tbe phone. to my surprise all i found was two employees one male one female sitting at a table chatting. i said hello i called in for matza ball soup please. I then asked for my yelp check in cookie. she proceeded to ask her male coworker in Spanish if she should in fact give me tbe yelp check on cookie. after they discussed this in Spanish she dropped a sorry little cookie in my bag. before i left i open the package and found a small one cup of matza ball soup, a pickle and a piece if corn bread. Corn bread and matza ball soup? i tasted the cirn bread was good just out of place wuth my meal then the soup. the soup was very oily and a strange yellow color. it had 4 slices of carrot two pieces of onion and one ball and two bits of white chicken. All tbis for $7 and change. i wont be back. i ended up driving over to bixby knolls.to get soup from Bixbys Brooklyn deli. they give you a full quart (twice the size) for $8. i prefer the home made taste snd the friendly service from Bixbys Brooklyn deli. it was worth the 4.5 mile drive If you are craving jewish penicillin go to Bixby Brooklyn deli. You wont regret it

Yelp
Went here for the first time the other day and had the ham breakfast burrito. It was delicious and good size, couldn't finish the whole thing in one sitting. Nice compliment of fresh fruit on the side and they also give you salsa and sour cream. They have quite an extensive menu which is great for having options, and they sell sides of potato salad, pasta pesto, and other things in their deli case. Inside was very clean and inviting. Will be back again for the food, and the delightful customer service.
