Traveled cross country to come to this restaurant. Just kidding. But it sure felt like that when I finally landed in Miami.
Took a cut rate flight, from California to Miami and the flight was not only long, change of planes in Chicago, but also after midnight arrival and even later than that. Not amused.
My layover in Chicago was supposed to be 1 hour and 16 minutes, instead it was 15 minutes. No time for the bathroom and no time for food. Kinda pissed really.
However, how upset can you really be when you know that your final destination is going to be Miami? And because the airline got me safely to my destination, I will forgive them.
It was an all day flight, running through airports with luggage, bags, purse, security check, different airports...hat etc..made for a very frenetic day.
On top of that, I had had no replenishment of my daily needs.
By 3:30AM I finally acquired the rental car which blossomed into a van, (how'd that happen???).... so now I'm driving a "schoolbus".
Still really can't complain about anything except for the fact that I was:
Famished, Anxious, AND Tired
Every cafe, restaurant, every possible place was closed for the day, CERRADO. FINITO. It was either order food to be delivered or go hunt for some.
I opted for the HUNT.
Found out that the the good ole Moshi Moshi was still open & ready for my business. They were pretty much the only ones left. I would have had to leave Miami Beach to find someplace else and I wasn't willing to go that far.
Good Ole Moshi Moshi... after 25+ no maybe close to 35+ years... they are still here and still serving fantastic asian food even to this day.
Almost a 24 hour food place. Or at least serving until 4AM.
How many restaurants in Miami Beach can honestly say that?
