Google
We are surprised by how good this place is and glad we still came to visit it though the Google rating is low for some reason? We came for the amazing happy hour, 25% off for all small plates and beers. They also got a really interesting Asian inspired cocktail menu! Both of the ones we got were amazing for tastes and the presentation!!! All the food we got were also super good!! Our favorites are the pork belly baos, karage, fried cauliflower, and the tonkatsu ramen! I really like the texture and width of the ramen noodles and the broth! Overall we loved it and will definitely come back!!!!

Google
Nice restaurant! We got the spicy beef dumplings as an appetizer and they were wonderful, much spicer than I expected though. They were nice and tangy, a sweet and sour sort of taste. I had the birria ramen as an entree and it was good, though nothing special. It wasn’t any more flavorful than other ramens I had, although I did like that it wasn’t overly salty as a lot of birria ramens are. It wasn’t spicy at all though which was a little disappointing, but I enjoyed it. The service is great, food came out fast and our waitress was super sweet. The inside is clean and really cute! Manga panels on the tables, although they have stains even while being clean. Would recommend!

Google
This is the kind of place that is why I moved to the city, the setting was hip and urban, it felt very alive. The seaweed salad was wonderful, the little cheese and salmon balls were fantastic dipped in chili sauce. The Ramen tho, wow! My tonkatsu was to die for, the egg was perfect, and the pork literally melted in your mouth. This will be a place I come back to frequently.

Google
First time here and dang these dishes are great! Picked up the Smoked Salmon Rangoons for the app with the sweet chili sauce. The Black Garlic Steak on a bed of Basil Pea Puree was perfectly cooked and just melts so smoothly on every bite. Also the Pork Belly Yakisoba was extremely filling and flavorful!

Google
Overrated Ramen. 18$ for broth, noodles, half an egg and 2 slices of chasu. Serving size is small. The bowl is small already for Ramen, and it wasn't filled. Mostly disappointed. Waiter forgot about our bar drinks and serves it after all the food is done. Mochi is 3$ each, they are smaller than bite size, and yet are still sliced in half I guess to make it look more? All in all, mediocre taste, mediocre serving size, high price. But there is no competition around for them. Nothing special about this ramen. If restaurant replies, I am curious if the noodles are house made?

Google
Went here for the first time. Very busy. Still received good service in a timely fashion. Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chicken Shio Ramen (shio seasoned chicken broth ramen served over thick wavy noodles topped with chicken chashu, menma, scallion, sesame) I added with onsen mushrooms and tofu, as well as a bowl of miso soup. Portions were big. Food was hot and well prepared very well made broth. Best miso soup I have ever had. I will definitely be coming back to try there other dishes which will be scrumptious as well. HAPPY HOUR 2PM-6PM

Cute Japanese restaurant. The seating in my opinion seems too close for comfort. We were seated near the entrance and I felt crowded in. We sat at a table where I didn’t feel I could sit across from my family because if I did, I’d feel like I was in the way of the walk way. Anyways, about the food I really liked the Pork Belly Bao and my fried tofu. My family also liked their food. We also ordered desserts. We ordered some Mochi (we ordered four different flavors) and chocolate moose. They tasted good. Nothing to really rave about. The bar though was awesome, lots of drink choices which was unexpected. The service was nice, our server was super friendly which made our experience even better. When the food and service is good the experience is a lot better. Kudos to our server.

Google
Best steak I’ve ever had and I’m a huge steak fan. The black garlic steak is divine, it melts in your mouth and the way the pesto and kimchi work so well together with the steak and rice is a whole experience. And the prices are great. 10/10 recommend

Yelp
I stepped in and was surprised at the energetic vibe and overall great atmosphere. Unique options well beyond Ramen although the spicy garlic ramen with Tofu was great. Unique appetizers the grilled octopus was tender and had flavors that left me wanting more. I contemplated licking the plate. They have over dozen house cocktails plus assortment of wines and beers. Great place but make a reservation if the weekend

Yelp
I am so glad to have stumbled upon this ramen restaurant located in Tacoma. There is street parking, but we ended up parking next door in the bank's parking lot since they were closed by the time we showed up. It was quite busy inside for a Wednesday evening. They do take reservations, which I didn't know at the time, but they were able to seat us within minutes of showing up. We ordered the Loaded Kimchi Fries (lightly breaded golden French fries topped with kimchi and seasoned pork, scallions, then slathered in kimchi kewpie and house Tokyo/buffalo sauce) to share between the two of us. I ordered the Habanero Tantan Ramen (spicy pork broth ramen served over a thick wavy noodle topped with seasoned pork, scallion, chili oil, and spinach gomae). My sister ordered the Chicken Shio Ramen (Shio seasoned chicken broth ramen served over thick wavy noodles topped with chicken chashu, menma, scallion, and sesame). We really LOVED the Loaded Kimchi Fries. We kept munching and eating them while we were waiting for our ramen. We would tell ourselves we would stop and wait for the entrees to come, but we kept just slowly picking at it. Definitely recommend getting them! It is a little spicy.

Miya A.

Yelp
Excellent service! Great cocktails! I prefer the starters to the ramen. The impossibao is phenomenal!! We always get 2 orders. The chicken ramen was just okay But the spicy garlic miso ramen is pretty darn tasty!

My tonkatsu was to die for, the egg was perfect, and the pork literally melted in your mouth. Our waitress was extremely kind and helpful, having been our first time walked us through the menu, I love when wait staff is willing to answer all my dumb questions. This will be a place I come back to frequently.

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance were just what me and my teenage son were looking for when looking around for a bite to eat. He had ramen. I had dumplings. Both were delicious and exactly what we were looking forward to. Definitely recommend!

William W.

Yelp
Decided to drop by here for a quick dinner tonight and Moshi did not disappoint! I was seated right away and had the Scallion Miso Ramen with gluten-free noodles; my server Elan did some substitution magic to make the entire dish gluten-free (the veggies it normally comes with are cooked with soy sauce apparently). The atmosphere here is so chill and friendly! I also ordered a Ramune melon soda and didn't know how to open it and this lovely woman sitting at the table next-door showed me how to do the thing! Both my drink and the ramen were sooo tasty and I left feeling quite satisfied. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Probably my favorite ramen spot in Tacoma! Street parking is sometimes hard to come by but it's ok since you'll need the extra steps to walk off the deliciousness. Most recently I came for their happy hour, which includes a bunch of appetizers and even a variety of fancy cocktails (and also regular well drinks)! I am always so impressed with quality of their food. - Szechuan chili dumplings are actually quite spicy like 4/5 spicy! - Gochujang brussels sprouts were more like ordinary brussels with a hint of gochujang flavor. - I was pleasantly surprised by the sesame shrimp toast - so delicious and crispy and perfect portion of shrimp-toast ratio. - Mezcal manhattan is exquisite and tbh belongs in a cozy speakeasy. I will drink as many of these as safely possible (which is probably only 2). Service is friendly, food comes out quick, and our waters were mostly full (they were a little slow on that). LGBTQi+ friendly, BLM friendly! I will be back.

Yelp
This is the perfect place to eat at when it's cold outside. It's a ramen restaurant but there's so many different options! I highly recommend the karaage and the chili garlic green beans for appetizers. They were so good that we forgot we ordered entrees as well. For our entrees, I ordered the pork belly yakisoba and I would definitely order it again. They go heavy on the baby mayo but it's exactly what I wanted. If you love baby mayo then the yakisoba and the karaage would be perfect for you. My boyfriend ordered the kotteri tonkatsu and his bowl was clean when we left. Both were big portions and delicious. I highly recommend!

Ben S.

Yelp
Grabbed dinner here on a weekend evening and we were seated after the quoted wait of about 30 minutes. We had a great table and good service throughout the night. We appreciated how vegetarian and vegan friendly their menu is - almost everything can be modified, customized or adjusted. We got a few of the appetizers and the fried rice and scallion ramen. The fried rice was SPICY! And the apps were OK - the orange sauce for the cauliflower was punchy. The ramen bowl was probably our favorite. Between this and Indo Asian next door I'd choose the later for a return trip, though they have far less options for vegetarians.

Linda H.

Yelp
Service was great and waitress was attentive. Really loved all the appetizers we ordered, shishito pepper, green beans, spam musubi. I used the photos in yelp to pick my ramen...chicken shio ramen... I need to read the menu next time. I guess some of the items were add ons. Great for a first date. Lots of things to talk about. Decor is really cool.

Brittanie H.

Yelp
Love this spot. It has a hipster vibe with an impossibly excellent waitstaff that makes the place truly sing. We came on a Wednesday, and it was buzzing with people, so much so that we had to sit at the bar, which was no slight. There was still plenty of room, and the ambiance was still palpable. We opted for cocktails and small plates. I got the Orochimaru, a refreshing and creative take on a mezcal cocktail. We got the vegetable dumplings, Takoyaki, and edamame. All were good and made for a filling meal. The Takoyaki was the star of the show. I recommend this place. There's something for everyone,

Yelp
The food and customer service were pretty good. I liked the aesthetic and vibes of the restaurant. Next time I look forward to trying a different dish.

Yelp
Date night with bae...the hostess, our waitress and the ambient initially set the mood! All the appetizers were amazing (pork belly bao, Szechuan chili dumplings & karaage chicken). J I'll wasn't a big fan of my spicy garlic miso ramen as recommended by the waitress as I asked what was better; that or habanero tan tan. I think what threw me off was that it had no pork and was only served with tofu. That was my bad for not reading the description thoroughly. My girl loves her Koterri Tonkotsu ramen and so did I! Our cocktails were delicious (Suntory Time Old Fashioned and Snake in the Grass). Met a cute gay guy couple who were locals at a table by us and they recommend awesome cocktail bars in the area so made friends while there so good vibe! Would definitely come back here again.

Yelp
We have been searching for a ramen place around us since we moved here and unfortunately we haven't found one that compares to the one we loved back home. This place is ok, I wouldn't rave about it though. the service is nice and all the staff are friendly. Ambiance is nice, it is a little darker so if you don't like good lighting than this may not be the place for you. The food is ok, I wouldn't go back for the ramen to be honest.

Lauren P.

Yelp
Another place knocked off the date night list! My boyfriend has been here in the past and really liked the chicken katsu curry, but apparently they've done away with it. :( He got another curry which smelled delicious and he seemed to enjoy! I got the Kotteri Tonkotsu because I can't go to a ramen spot and NOT get ramen. The noodles were great, and the pork was delicious too. The broth was okay. It was good, but I've definitely had better at quite a few other spots. I also wish it had come a little hotter! We got the spam musubi as well for our appetizer and it wasn't bad. Another "I've had better" situation. I think the best part of Moshi Moshi is the atmosphere and service! The staff is super friendly and very on top of it. We came in on a Friday evening and were in and out in about an hour. Moshi Moshi is decorated really cute and has the perfect dim lighting for date night. Full bar, too! Note that it is a little tough to find... It's attached to the Indo Street Eatery (owned by the same person, I'm assuming, as some of the staff was wearing their shirts). Look for that sign and Moshi Moshi is the unmarked door next to it!

Yelp
I've always wanted to try real Ramen, and I've got to say I'm not disappointed. I always appreciate a place that feeds you full. I had a lot of stuff, and I let someone else order for me, so i can't name what i had, but everything I had was delicious. The things that didn't earn this place a fifth star was the area that it's in dosent have parking for anything being that it's in the university district also it was dark which was fine but they had this annoying rotating LED light moving around and shinning in our faces. All in all, this place earned every bit of its four stars and deserves your attention.

Frankie K.

Yelp
We ordered a variety of dishes and they were all excellent! We had a party of 5 but got seated right away during lunchtime. Service was quick and good. It's a nice little spot with delicious food. You really can't go wrong with anything you order. Everything we tried was delicious! I will definitely be back and definitely recommend!

K B.

Yelp
Awesome Ramen! Tried the Short Rib Ramen, Steak, Beef dumplings and Mousse. Everything was wonderful! Added some Gochujang/habanero to the mix and the flavors were on fire! Slam dunk! The Short rib ramen had a chicken broth and even that was silky smooth delicious. Excellent.

Nandini H.

Yelp
We are vegetarian and my husband and I are obsessed with their garlic miso Vegan Ramen and I still dream about those Sichuan Boiled Dumplings. We've already been twice and that says a lot from someone like me who is obsessed with trying new places all the time This one is definitely a top fav that I will keep coming back to . The ambience is pretty casual and helps to have reservations on weekends, love their Thursday discounts and service has been great both times we visited and let's hope this place stays that way

Chris S.

Yelp
Did the Uber eats version of this place during Covid and the food was incredible. Will be back and in person soon!

George C.

Yelp
What I love about Moshi Moshi is how the menu is somehow both small, but has great variety. This became the fams weeknight spot because there is something for everyone regardless of what you are craving. We were first drawn in by the ramen. They are all good, but I am a sucker for miso ramen and theirs does not disappoint. Even the coconut green curry ramen, which is more typical curry than ramen is great. I am used to spots that have good ramen not doing much else, but we branched out to try some other things off the menu. Dan dan noodles and brussel sprouts?? At a ramen place? Yes please and they were both good. Maybe you just need some fried chicken. They've got that too. Just order a little of everything along with some ramen and you will be happy you did!

Monica M.

Yelp
We went in with lowered expectations based on reviews here, but this native Japanese person was pleasantly surprised by what we ate. The menu is quite large so I was worried about quality but we enjoyed everything. Flavors are great, not too spicy, and pricing was good for the things we ordered. I'm pretty sure "Golden Curry" is S&B Golden Curry. (For those of you in Team S&B. I'm Team Vermont. IYKYK) The teen loved the anime decor and we had fun reading the manga printed on our table while we waited for our food (ours was One Punch ワンパンマン). The Lady Snowblood cocktail was syrupy sweet, and I wish it had some acidity to balance it out. I really wanted more vodka based cocktail options but I can't be that picky. Okonomiyaki tasted great but the texture of the batter was a little dry or sandy. The Kotteri ramen wasn't as "kotteri" as I expected but it was good nonetheless. Overall this is a pretty good izakaya option if you're in the area. It's on our list for another visit. Pet peeve: it's Ton-KOTSU not Ton-KATSU ramen, folks. Ton (pork) Kotsu (Bone) also Yu-shoku Yu (evening) Shoku (meal) not Yushuku... /rant

Livia S.

Yelp
Moshi has the BEST ramen in Tacoma! I am obsessed with this place and the drinks are also soooo tasty! The restaurant itself is always extremely clean, they always have cool cartoons playing, and the servers are always super friendly, and attentive to my food allergies! Truly a Tacoma gem! Thanks Moshi Crew!!

Kristin S.

Yelp
Hip atmosphere, small dining area but totally worth the wait. Delightful wait staff and they will give recommendations! Honestly everything was amazing but don't sleep on the original tonkatsu bowl

Paytint K.

Yelp
Food was delicious! Drinks were delicious! I love the art and ambiance of the restaurant! Service was ok, it took awhile after we were sat to be approached by a server but other than that it was great! Highly recommend!

Kimberly G.

Yelp
One of my favorites in Tacoma. Not only is the food good but it's also just a cool spot to go than a regular old ramen house. The neighborhood, bar, drinks and overall vibe of the place is chefs kiss. Service is chill and laid back. Everyone's nice without rubbing it in your face.

Mona R.

Yelp
I'm not a big ramen fan (gasp!!!!) So when I went to Moshi Moshi with a coworker I tried their Dan Dan noodles. The noodles were delicious and the sauce had a kick to it. There was plenty of ground pork in the dish and it came with a poached egg and lots of scallions on top. Although it seemed like it was a small dish I had a good amount leftover for lunch the next day and to my surprise it tasted even better the next day.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Ordered the veggie gyoza. Got a few bites in before realizing I was given the pork gyoza. I hadn't eaten meat in 6 years, until tonight. Please be more careful with orders that contain food people avoid due to religious/dietary/moral reasons. Will not be coming back

Patrick L.

Yelp
Great cocktails. Had the kimchi fries and spicy dumplings as appetizers, both very delicious. I got the Dan Dan noodles as my main, also good but I think the ramen is the way to go. Both of my friends got that and they were delighted. The ice cream mochi was also great

Dung N.

Yelp
The in-laws have been raving about this place, so we came here when it was convenient for them. The tables had black and white manga drawings on it, which was pretty neat. We ordered so much food! We got the shiyo ramen, tan tan ramen, spicy miso ramen, galbi, kimchi fries, spam musubi, spicy beef dumplings, takaouoko?, an IPA, and a few cocktails. We shared all the appetizers and my favorite were the dumplings. It had a nice flavor and good kick to it. I personally ordered the galbi and it came with kimchi, seaweed salad, some rice with furikake. The portion for this dish was pretty big, but unfortunately, the flavors weren't there and I thought that the meat was too fatty for me. I think that the drinks were great though. We had a few rounds and tried the Hero From the West, the Lavender-lime chuhai, and habanero margarita. Our server recommended that I get the Parseltongue, which had mezcal, coconut cream, lime, agave, cilantro and cucumber. It was very interesting and refreshing! I recommend coming here for their cocktails because the food was just alright to me.

Christy K.

Yelp
Lazy service! Called to order a ramen and understandable if maple bacon is only lunch time but suggesting me to pull over and order when mentioned Im on auto mode or pull over and look at the menu when I asked what other ramen she has is not good service. HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO ANSWER THAT QUESTION? Never will go here again and ordering somewhere else. Edit; just to clarify i was not driving. My new car was parked and the auto tends to interrupt my data. Just really disappointed in her unwillingness to help me on ordering. Ended up at pho bac instead.

Teresa A.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and staff! Drink menu is extremely creative too!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good vibes, a fun menu to choose from and friendly staff that make you feel welcome.

Holly R.

Yelp
First of all, our server was spectacular, and the negatives in this review do not reflect them. Menu listed gluten free and vegan options. I ordered the vegan ramen with gluten free noodles. When I ordered mushrooms to add, which were listed as gluten free, I was informed that there's a chance of contamination, so not gluten free. Very disappointing, as mushrooms are delicious and would have made the dish more hearty. Our food was delivered, the person stated "celiac," the other order at our table was correct, but my ramen clearly had an egg on top. I asked the person delivering about it, because I had ordered the vegan ramen, she stated "it's not vegan there's fish sauce in it." I was in a panic, looking at my food that I couldn't eat. She said she'd get my server- but left the food there *as if I'd gotten my order wrong.* After a while, our server came around and acknowledged that I'd received someone else's food and mine should be delivered shortly. The dessert "LIME AND MANGO NO-BAKE tropical citrus and mango with agave on a cashew crust" was so not worth the price of $8. I expected something colorful with light, bright flavor, and instead received a small bland square. Ugh. Mochi is also $3 for each bite- seems overpriced. My ramen dish was over the top amazingly delicious. Could still benefit from added mushrooms!

Cassie T.

Yelp
Very Gen-Z type of feel! Kinda cluttered and picturesque. The karage wasn't the crispiest it could be, but we were there later so might have been the oil. The drinks are great I loved the lychee martini they had! Our server was attentive and very tall gave me Chase from Zoey 101 vibes! The ramen I got wasn't the best I've had there are other places I would go for chicken tan tan.

Kendra O.

Yelp
Amazing selection of vegan options. Their golden curry was awesome. Immposibao was a great appetizer The service was a little slow be prepared to wait a little.

Brittany S.

Yelp
Both times that I've been to Moshi Moshi this past month have been such a treat. Each time we went with a group of four and shared as many small plates as we could handle and every single thing that we ordered was delicious. Some highlights for me were the kimchi fries, the Brussels sprouts, the smoked salmon wontons, and the hyunh dumplings. Every plate comes out so fresh and full of flavor! The vibe is lowkey, we loved that they were watching The Lost Boys on the TV in the bar on our second visit. The service is warm and friendly and quick - they've also been helpful when we couldn't decide between multiple options and when I asked for a mocktail option during happy hour (they can make virtually any drink into a mocktail if you just ask nicely!) I can't wait to return and try the ramen!

Steve A.

Yelp
Can you say great selection and very good ramen . You will after eating here. The pot stickers were very good as well. Parking is on the street and not in the bank parking lot next door. We had both great service and food. High chairs available if needed.

Kayla S.

Yelp
Allergy concerns - Beware Overall, the meal itself was decent and the service (major flub not included) was fantastic. When we ordered dessert, however, we ordered some vegan Mochi for me and some non-vegan Mochi for my partner. When the waitress came back with the tray of Mochi she pointed to what was what. We trusted that and as soon as I tasted the first one I realized it wasn't what I had ordered and it was a non-vegan Mochi. Of the two she pointed at indicating they were vegan, only one was correct. I ended up trying two non-vegan flavors before we got to the correct one. I emailed Moshi Moshi about this over a month ago in order to bring it to their awareness but never received a response. I understand mistakes happen, and luckily I am not deathly allergic to dairy, but posting here for awareness because I fear someone else may be impacted by this lack of knowledge/attention to detail.

Cindy H.

Yelp
I think Moshi Moshi has potential here, however the 2 times I been here the food has been just ok. I like the concept and vibe of the restaurant. They have a creative drink and food menu. This would be a great hang out place with friends on a weekend night or during their happy hour.

Eddie J.

Yelp
Are you looking for a great happy hour? Do you love Asian Fusion cuisine? Then stop by Moshi Moshi in Tacoma's Stadium District! The Cocktails: I was pleasantly surprised by their list of signature and classic cocktails on their happy hour menu. I ordered the Negroni and they did it right by adding a large ice cube! I'm excited to go back and try their Old Fashioned and Manhattan! The Appetizers: The happy hour appetizers were very shareable. We ordered the JFC (Japanese Fried Chicken), the Spicy Beef Dumplings (very spicy), and the Brussel Sprouts. I highly recommend all three. The Ramen: Another favorite is the Tonkotsu Ramen with pork, mushrooms, scallions, and aji soft boiled egg. We added another aji egg to our ramen since we shared. If you're looking for a place with a cool vibe, great drinks and food, definitely check out Moshi Moshi Ramen Bar!

Allison P.

Yelp
Spam musubi was best I've had. Everything was SO tasty and the wine pour was generous. Staff very friendly. Prices fair. Vibes immaculate.

Jill H.

Yelp
Went to Moshi Moshi to celebrate my birthday with friends. Loved it so much came back 3 days later with my family.

Jasmin R.

Yelp
I've been here many times after living in the Tacoma area for a few years. The ramen never disappoints. I do miss when they used to have potato croquettes. I wish dining here was a more enjoyable experience though. The last couple times we've been here we sat for a while before our order was taken. It doesn't usually bother me but I have a 1yr old now and dining is hard enough as it is without being forgotten about. This time we were sat for over 35 minutes before I finally asked one of the staff members if we could have our order taken. She said she apologized for the wait and there was a miscommunication on their team. In these 30 minutes my toddler was getting more and more impatient- I packed snacks but it wasn't cutting it. Que the screaming and kicking . Our server did take our appetizer off the bill and was attentive for the rest of our visit which didn't go unnoticed and was appreciated. After we got the food all was well. But I likely won't be coming back here after multiple visits like this. Shame because I do love their ramen.

Reem A.

Yelp
So the food was good & the ambiance was good, I thought it was cute on the inside. The people who sat us were lovely and accommodating for our group of 8 but our server... really ruined the experience for us. Her boyfriend was sitting in the seats to the back right of us and he was clearly such a distraction that we - my friend asked for a straw 3 times before she got one - i asked for a refill 3 times and NEVER got one - she completely forgot to put in my friends food order, who we literally went there to celebrate - she charged me for the wrong meal I'm just really disappointed because if you can't handle your job with your boyfriend there, don't let him distract you while you are SERVING people who are PAYING quite a bit of money to eat here. Due to that, I will probably never come back because it was just soooooo beyond frustrating and they are really going to lose money over an irresponsible waitress who couldn't focus on her table.

Zora B.

Yelp
Booooooooooooooooooomb fooooooooooooooooood,booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomb service

Tenieka P.

Yelp
It was pretty good. I'm new to the world of Ramen so didn't really know what to order. If you are looking for a seasoned broth go with the pork is what I've learned so far. Atmosphere is cute and intimate. Staff are really nice and personable.

H A.

Yelp
servers are mean, i asked one of the staff members for a refill since our server hadn't came by our table for 45min and he looked at me with a rude expression and said "i'm not ur server" and walked away... like i understand but the attitude was uncalled for, and oh the appetizers are small and overly priced

Fred W.

Yelp
First visit to this location. The service was okay. The Ambiance is a bit crowded. It definitely did not feel like an izakaya. I had high expectations for the food. I was deeply disappointed. The ramen was made with angel hair pasta. The yakisoba was drenched in teriyaki sauce. The name of the restaurant may lead you to think this is Japanese style food. It is not.

Yelp
We have had Moshi Ramen Bar in our dining out/delivery rotation for a few years. I understand that one visit isn't a trend but our most recent visit maybe our last for a while. Our server clearly didn't want to be there and her attitude towards us showed. It took a while for our drinks to come from the bar, the bartender was hustling churning out tasty craft cocktails. I ordered a second cocktail half way through my first (due to the delay) and was told by our server I had to wait until I finished the one I had. Seriously. I told her in a lighthearted tone that I would like another and some water for the table. 20 minutes later my drink came. My son's beer while ordered at the same time as the rest of the table came after my second cocktail. Water came near the end of the meal. Speaking of the meal the small plates, the takoyaki seemed to be light on the octopus but the remainder of the apps were ok. My wife's noodles were closer to uncooked rather than al dente but the broth was uninspiring . I had kotteri tonkotsu and it was not the star of the meal as it usually was. I got 2 thin sliced pieces of pork and a lackluster broth. Our experience wasn't all bad there was a gentleman (expediter?) who did a great job of filling the gaps of our server. Overall we feel we need to put Moshi in the penalty box for a while.
