Seattle’s Pioneer Square Is Getting a Rooftop Bar Called Firn | Eater Seattle

"The business that evolved from the Queen Anne Beerhall (owners bought the operation in 2020) updated its menu and expanded to a second location in Kirkland; a third location is slated to open sometime in May with the same beer- and pub-fare–focused menu ("yes there will obviously be smashburgers"), plus a view of the waterfront from the bar’s second story." - Harry Cheadle

I’ll admit, I’m not usually a fan of sports bar–type food, so I was hesitant to come in — especially since I was still missing The Wild Rover that used to be in this location. But I’ve noticed this place is always busy, so I finally decided to give it a shot… and I’m really glad I did! The service was fantastic — super friendly and attentive. I actually came with a friend who brought her dog, and the staff was so accommodating. We even ordered a meat patty for the pup, which was such a nice touch. My friend had a beer while I went with tea and sparkling water, and we shared a grilled cheese with tomato soup — simple but so delicious. I think I had been here once before when they first opened, and I wasn’t too impressed back then, but this visit was a completely different experience. Now that they’ve been open a while, everything feels smoother and more welcoming. It’s a comfortable, relaxed spot — great for catching a Mariners game, hanging out with friends, or just grabbing a casual bite. I’d definitely recommend it, and I’d come by more often if the menu matched my usual taste a bit more. Overall, a really pleasant surprise!

Google
First time Great experience Everyone was super nice...just enough attention, not overwhelmed. The manager there today, Monday around 12:30 was super. The bartender, there a v year was also awesome. The wings were delicious. Cooked to perfection. Will definitely keep going

Google
Met some friends for some happy hour drinks on a summer weekday. This is a busy area in the summer any day of the week, so close parking can be a little tricky. Pretty large venue with both indoor and patio seating available. Had one of the Happy Hour beers, smashburger and pretzel. Friendly and helpful service staff. Wouldn't hesitate to come back here.

Google
Meh. The burger was all I came for and I’ve been here before & it was fantastic. But this time around the bread seemed to be falling apart. Disappointing. Pretzel was great as always but warmed bread is hard to mess up. Service was great but honestly American pubs are just a hard sell. They’re rarely going to be phenomenal so it’s no one’s fault really. Decent vibes, just don’t expect a showstopper.

Google
Oh my gosh... this is our new favorite spot. They are GREAT for gluten free variety of food, they take celiac really seriously. The outside area is amazing to bring your dog. The food is really tasty as well, we loved the steak frites, the temperature of the stake was amazing. The chicken wings were amazing too. The service is outstanding, 10 stars. We appreciate you guys so much!! What a treasure.

Google
The place was just gross, dirty, and service was non-existing. The floors looked like it never been swept and was just ignored the whole time. We were given dirty dishes then they tried hiding said dirty dishes under napkins and we almost set on a chair with food all over it. The cups too were gross there was food still in them, both times and a bug in my drink. We are never coming back and telling everyone to not go there

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Moss Bay Hall is such a gem! Everything we had has been good - the “pit dip” smashburger is absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly done every time. Possibly life-changing! Queso dip & handmade chips are also super yummy! The staff is amazing: friendly, attentive, and they make you feel right at home. I also love the location—it’s the perfect spot with such great energy. Whether you’re here for a quick bite or to hang out with friends, it’s always a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Google
Casual beer hall with good bar food. Very family friendly. Their fried food was done very well, light and crispy without too much batter. We tried fried cheese curds, wings, chicken skewers, Caesar salad with chicken, and beignets. Everything was done very well. The bbq sauce has a little kick and very delicious. Some dishes may be considered on the pricy side for casual dining, but considering their prime location in downtown Kirkland and the quality of food, it is quite fair. We didn't get a chance to try their pretzel but saw it being served and it looks very promising! Being a big fan of Miller's Twist in PA we are eager to come back to try the pretzel.

Yelp
First time here! Ozzy the bartender was absolutely amazing! Even though he was busy, he was multitasking rockstar!! He took the time to ask if we needed another drink. He was conversational and super duper friendly! Give the man a raise! The beer selection was great too! :-)

Yelp
This place has a fun ambiance and a beautiful view of the lake (for most of the restaurant). It's clean, fun, and seems like a good place to watch a sports game. Our server was attentive and helpful. The food was fine, however, the burgers were small for the price, and a lot of the drinks were overpriced as well. I will say that the pretzels were absolutely amazing. I would come here again for pretzels and a happy hour drink, but definitely don't plan to bring the whole family for lunch again. My biggest complaint was simply that it was overpriced for what felt like a fairly standard pub experience.

Yelp
3.5 Stars A awesome beer hall-esque spot with yummy food and good drinks. There are also lots of TVs around for watching sports. The menu has a good mix of bar food and some fresher options. It is definitely on the pricey side but the quality seems good. I tried the cheese curds ($17), peanut butter bacon smash burger ($21), and salmon rice bowl ($28). They were all nice. The aperol spritz ($14) was also nice. Very casual interior. Staff are nice :)

Yelp
Went with a large group and they're very accommodating. I had their fries which were fabulous, recommend the fry sauce! The smashed burger salad was amazing!

Yelp
Have been here a few times now and have had burgers, wings, mac n cheese, pretzel, beer and wine here It was all really good and the staff was great. It was also very kid friendly on a Sunday which was terrific for us It's also a nice and big open space Will definitely be coming back

Yelp
I could very well regret this review. It's always a concern that when you find something this good, pretty soon it seems like everyone wants in on it. A really good smash burger is tough to find on the eastside. A really good smash burger, and fries, for $8 is a damn unicorn (happy hour price, $10 for lunch). It's a 3 oz patty, which made for the perfect size for me, make it a double if you are really hungry (or better yet order 2 just for you). Big open space, great location, super friendly bartender. What's not to like?
google avatar

Yelp
Moss Bay Hall has a huge seating space, so it's really great if you have a big party and no reservation. The seating has a lot of long bench tables connected together. There are lots of different beer options on tap, and you can walk up to order at the bar anytime. There are also plenty of "typical bar food" shareable options that makes this place really great. The pretzel is huge and one of my favorites!
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
Came here for the mariners playoff game and had a great time! Good vibes, lots of beers, and lots of TVs! They ran out of seating pretty quick so there were lots of people standing. I wouldn't recommend the wings though, they were just okay.

Yelp
Great place to watch the games on the weekends. The weekend brunch was delicious. I had the blueberry pancakes. They were fluffy and full of fresh blueberries. Service was on point.

Yelp
This wax our second time in a week and I'm really glad we tried them again! Justin the bar manager is personable and kind makes great menu suggestions! We have a neurodivergent family member and learned they have perfect "ambiance corners" for his sensory needs. I also discovered new menu items that we can all enjoy! I'm so excited we have a fabulous "go to" restaurant within walking distance when we don't want to cook!

Yelp
I miss the Irish pub that used to be here, but the Moss Bay Hall is decent. The menu has a little something for everyone. I enjoyed the double smash burger with fries. Our group got to sit in a big booth facing the water, with great views. The place is dog-friendly, and we enjoyed seeing the various doggos. The service was average, but fine. Fine spot for lunch, but nothing extremely special.

Yelp
Drove to Kirkland waterfront and walked in for a quick bite. It was a nice day so decided to sit outside. After sometime I asked a server to turn the heater and he said there are plenty of tables open inside :( so we moved inside. We sat at a high top area with our waters and menu and it was almost 15 mins before anyone came to ask us if we wanted to order. Not a good start. We ordered our food and the bartender did bring me few beer tasting, that was nice. We ordered the pretzel and chees , cheese didn't have much flavor. Our other order roasted street corn ( elloite) we had to request chips with it. That was good. We also order Cougar Mac &cheese that was very bland . I asked for a spicy sauce which enhanced the flavor and tasted better. Our beers were kolsch and October fest. No one cane to check on us and also took a long time for someone to come to close us out. Overall it was an ok experience.

Yelp
Really good happy hour if simply looking for 0.5/1L or glass of wine. The Stadium Dog from the happy hour was also good; the bun was toasted, and the quality of the meat itself tasted higher than your conventional supermarket frank. The fries were seasoned nicely. Need to come back and try their regular menu items. They also have a summer concert happy hour special going on every Thursday, which includes cocktails I believe.

Yelp
Lots of room to accommodate groups. I like the smash burgers. Bench seating, high tops and normal chairs are seating options.

Yelp
Stopped by for food after spending most of the day at Kirkland uncorked. Staff is so nice. Wait wasn't too bad. I ordered the bale breaker wings and they weee sooo good. I only ate 5 though, very flavorful and wasn't expecting that. The dill ranch dip whatever the wings came with was bomb. Drinks were great too! Will probably be back next year haha. Def a good place to hang out with friends after a day in the sun!

Yelp
Moss Bay Hall is my go to place to watch the big game! Great and lively atmosphere to watch sporting events with so many different TV angles all over the venue. Their menu is so fun! This last sunday, I visited Moss Bay Hall with a coworker to watch the Buffalo Bills vs. the Baltimore Ravens. The time flew by thanks to the great and quick service of our hosts and servers. The drinks and food always come out quick, hot, and fresh. I usually get their pretzels, or tater tots, or cheese curds, but this time I opted for just the smashburger and fries. For $8 on football Sunday, that is a steal!

Yelp
Our go to staple cheese smash-burger and sour beer can't go wrong. Go out and get yourself one!

Yelp
To start - Moss Bay is our favorite spot in the Kirkland area. I grew up here & every time I come back a trip to Moss Bay is a must. The happy hour has incredible deals on burgers & beer. The space itself is awesome, right near the water with views of lake Washington. They have bar seating as well as picnic style and some booths. Their menu is extensive, from beer, to cocktails, to food. And it's all delicious. Recently, we hosted our wedding shower at Moss Bay and had a fabulous experience working with Paloma and Alex. Paloma made the experience seamless and was great with communication. She helped us to get a menu selected for some bites during the event (all of which was delicious and very reasonably priced). We had the "partially private" area in the back which was incredible. Long tables with plenty of seating and some sleek and comfy couches. My fiance was thrilled to see no lack of large TVs with golf on. Alex was our server and did an incredible job managing our group. He was efficient, friendly, and made sure everyone was taken care of the moment they arrived until the end of the event. Huge thanks to the Moss Bay team for offering such a fun, welcoming space and for making our celebration feel so special from start to finish. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Definitely my new favorite sports bar! I love how large Moss Bay Hall is, it is such a fun environment with tons of tvs and delicious food and drinks. Cheryl was our server and she was wonderful and very attentive, she gave us great recommendations when I was indecisive on certain items which always helps an indecisive person like me! We also got to chat with the owner Justin/Juice and he was so kind and it was so fun to learn all about the restaurant and all the fun things coming. We tried a bunch of things on the menu and they were all so good! I will rank my favorites - White sauce chicken wings - I will be dreaming of these wings forever, so crisp and that sauce is perfection!! - Reuben sandwich - LOVE that it is on sourdough - PB smash burger - such a good burger! And good to try something different but I may just be a "normal" topping smash burger kind of person - Mac & cheese - not terrible, but could have been more creamy? The drinks (all so delish!) - Patio press - Blackberry rosemary mule - Cherry limeade Definitely such a fun place to watch the games and eat good food and have good drinks!

Yelp
Moss Bay Hall took over the former Irish pub in downtown Kirkland. There's ample parking all around, either street parking or paid lots. Moss Bay Hall is a large space with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Great for watching sports with all of the tvs around. The food was pretty good and the price wasn't too bad. My first visit there, I got the peanut butter smash burger with a side of fries. The burger wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best peanut butter burger I've had. I wasn't a fan of the peanut butter with chunks. But aside from that the burger and fries were good and filling. During my second visit, I decided to try out the kraken dog. It was very flavorful and good with all the topping and cream cheese. A little messy to eat, but it was good. My friends got the breakfast burrito and classic smash burger and both were great tasting. Service for both visits was great! The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and attentive, even when it was the busy hour. The atmosphere is pretty loud which I didn't mind since it is a place perfect for large gatherings of people either watching a sporting event or people just chattering with company. I'll definitely be going back for another visit!

Yelp
Had brunch here yesterday with my sister and cousins. The Space is large would be good for after work gatherings for businesses in the neighborhood. We selected to sit towards the back where there were regular tables facing the love autumn foliage. There are a number of different seating options, booths, picnic tables style, cocktail tables with stools and during the summer looks to be nice outdoor seating. We split the Brunch Pretzel we enjoyed the cinnamon cream cheese spread that came with it the Nutella overpowered the pretzel a bit but didn't keep us from using it. My sister had the Moss, I had the Reuben Hash, the other two had a breakfast burrito and the Fried chicken benny. Think we were all satisfied with our meals. Did think it was a little odd my sister's english muffin and my toast without butter. We didn't mind that it came dry as some restaurants tend to over butter but it would've been nice to have it on the side my sister ended ip having to ask for some butter. I like that the hash was light on potatoes well balanced dish but scrambled eggs on a hash seemed like an odd choice would've been nice to have the option of poached or easy over. The breakfast burrito is very generous in size know that if you add a side it cost more. Where ad on the eggs benny you have a choice and it's included. Food came out quickly and service was good for how large of a space it is. Looks like they have some great Sunday football specials. Was a fun brunch with a creative menu.

Yelp
Great outdoor patio spot for a warm day. If you love cheesy, rich, and melty food, this place is perfect for you! The double smash burger was a little small but so filling and delicious, and the cheese curds were so fresh with the amazing hot honey dip. Also had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc for $12.

Yelp
We have had dinner at Moss Bay Hall a couple of times now and love the food and the ambiance. The first time we got Cauliflower to start and then burgers, Original Smash burger, and PB & Bacon burger. We loved both our burgers and the Cauliflower. Our second time, we got there late, and they were on their laye night menu. We got an Original Smash burger and Seattle dog. We liked them both.
google avatar

Zack R.

Yelp
Loud rowdy place, seems great for groups watching the game together. We were just there for a burger so the ambiance wasn't as much our scene and therefore the slowness of service really got to us as we weren't into the game. The food was above average, everything was tasty ... particularly the tots. I'm a sucker for a nice crispy-outside salty tot and these were top notch. Beyond the tots though nothing was GREAT. The burrito was pretty good but needed some side salsas for flavor and moisture. The single smash was kinda small for the price (yeah, should have done the double). And while the sausages were good with good kraut and mustard they were still just standard sausages. I think I was mostly disappointed because I thought the platter was this great deal but it didn't make it very clear they were bun-less sausages. Platter, I know, but it was in with all the bunned sausages and I thought it was just like a buy3 deal. I miss my bread and it wasn't as good a deal as I thought. Also, I'll pass on the Kraken next time which had an odd flavor and aftertaste and just stick with brat and kielbasa. 'next time' ... eh, there are enough other options that I don't need to come back. Maybe I'll get tots to go as they are slightly better than taco time crack-tots, but otherwise some brats cooked up at home are just as good for me without some kicker.

Yelp
Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this spot, especially after visiting QABH several times. I was excited for this location to open since we live on the Eastside, so I came to check it out recently with five friends. The food is definitely not as good as the Queen Anne location, and the portions are tiny! We got the corned beef, and it was maybe 2 oz of meat -- I mean, it was a total rip-off for $20! I was shocked. Inflation is real, I guess. But really, it's the service that disappointed me the most. The waitress would come to our table, ask if we were doing okay, take one person's drink order, and then leave -- never asking if anyone else needed anything or coming back to check on us. This was especially surprising since we spent $250 just on alcohol. I honestly regret leaving a tip. She even seemed surprised when we did -- after we paid through Toast, she hit "no tip" and said, "You don't need to tip?" Afterward, I wondered if the tip was already included -- in which case I definitely shouldn't have left cash. That said, I do like the space more than the Queen Anne location -- it's bigger, nicer, and still dog-friendly, which is a plus. But the service and food portions really fell short. Honestly, the service at QABH has always been mediocre too -- but at least the food there is amazing!

Yelp
This is my new go to cheeseburger. It's not a giant burger and is kind of smaller in comparison to places but it's a very good tasty burger. Good bun, good smash, I get American cheese and it comes with pickles, tomatoes and sauce. I pick the tots. I think it's the best burger on the Eastside right there with Burgermaster's Burgermelt. The difference is here I can get tots. The pretzel with the cheese is damn good too. I've had that before. My pictures don't do it justice. I really like this place.

Yelp
Beignets!!! Great dessert to finish off our meal! Smash burgers were good and hit the spot, they're on the greasier side and a bit pricey for a burger of this size. Service was good, space was large and plenty of seating on a busy Friday night. If you haven't been, it's worth trying!
google avatar

Yelp
Rating is based on their brunch service only. We went in for the grand opening of brunch, which given that it was the first day of serving brunch, we weren't expecting top tier anything. But what we got was even less than what we expected. First of all, it took forever. They had 3 servers for the entire place, and we were there before the crowd. By the time we actually got our food, it had been over half hour since we ordered. It took 20 mins from the time we received our drinks for our waitress to come back and take our food order. Watching them work, there's absolutely no direction. It's not like everyone had a quadrant, or a task, it was people ping ponging all over which lead to chaos. The food took forever to come (it was just eggs, bacon, and pancakes). The pancakes came completely raw inside. I'm not kidding. I lifted the pancake because I couldn't see any blueberries, and raw batter ran out of it. We let our waitress know when we saw her again, about 10 mins later, and it took another 20 mins to get two pancakes out. Their kitchen is a fucking mess with tickets, clearly. Because pancakes take under 10 mins to cook and should be a constant on the griddle. I was shocked. It was incredibly loud for a Saturday morning, but these places are usually like that given the food hall type vibe. The food was frankly not good, neither was the coffee. And the prices?? Wild. Even for Kirkland, I don't mind paying a good amount for breakfast if the food is good. This isn't. It sat like a rock in our stomachs the rest of the day. There are plenty of much better places for breakfast in Kirkland. I would be willing to come back and watch a game here. Can't say I'd eat!
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
Good brunch let down by sloppy service. The basic eggs/bacon/pancakes were good and met typical breakfast standards. The tots were super delicious and I'm not usually a tots fan. The Benedict's were good if not a tad too salty even by smoked salmon standards. Kudos on the Bloody Mary too. The let down was the service. Rookie mistakes like no silverware when the plates were served, no jam with the toast, and having to flag down servers for water, coffee refills, ordering, and bill paying. The place was uncrowded and plenty of servers but they seemed new to the industry. Hope they can quickly mature as we'd like to return.
google avatar

Shane H.

Yelp
This place has been open a few years now so one would hope they would have improved their service by now. You could literally sit at that bar for 2 hours and be served 1 beer. They could be doing twice or even three times their turnover if their bar tenders would just attend to the customers sitting at the bar. The bar tender seemed more interested in cleaning glasses and cutlery than actually selling drinks, maybe he should be working in the scullery rather. If there is a Mariners or Hawks game on they really need to have more staff on duty too. Cutlery and napkins would also be a nice addition to food orders. Great venue though.

Michael S.

Yelp
Very fun atmosphere last night and the service was excellent! I probably should've ordered a single Smashburger not the double but that was my error and probably won't happen again!

Yelp
Okay, what a nice fresh and open addition to DT Kirkland! This place is perfect for large gatherings, catching up or watching a game with friends. First, the staff are so kind and accommodating. We had such good service on our first visit. Second, the food is great! You have to grab a big pretzel (of course), the cheese curds are great and so are the beignets (dipping sauces are high key amazing). I don't eat much red meat and decided to go for it with the PB&J smash burger and it totally exceeded my expectations! The burger was so savory and juicy, I devoured the whole thing. Can't forget to mention how many good beers are on tap too! Def will be back to catch a game with friends.

Yelp
This is a classic sports bar but with a clean modern look. They do have a nice beer selection.... but otherwise the food and service we're meh. Small portion sizes for the price and the food really wasn't as flavorful as the menu made it sound. The service was slow and they got part of our orders wrong.
google avatar

Maryn P.

Yelp
This spot is so cool. I can see it becoming the most popular spot in Kirkland quickly, especially on big sport nights. The owners of Queen Anne Beerhall in Seattle also own this spot and you can tell. There are a lot of similarities between the two which is amazing since the Queen Anne Beerhall is such an iconic Seattle spot. We came for drinks and ended up ordering the beignets too. They came with three different dipping sauces - my favorite being the blackberry habanero jam. My fiancé really enjoyed the dulce de leche sauce, I personally thought it was a tad bit too sweet for my liking. The beignets aren't New Orleans beignets but they were still pretty good nonetheless. They have lots of beer and cider options on tap and I enjoyed the cider I ordered. They also have an espresso martini machine and luckily we were sitting at the bar in front of it when they were making another batch for it so I got to try a taste of it. For it being an on tap espresso martini, it was pretty good. Also a genius invention since I am sure they sell so many of them. Overall, I loved this spot. I'd like to come back and try more food options.

Yelp
Held a retirement party in the party room with about 45 family and friends of many ages. Everything exceeded my expectations from the planning beforehand with the very professional and prompt Paloma, the on-site coordination by Austin, Jenny and Flo, and the impeccable service provided by Alex. The party room was spotless. The food was amazing and there was tons of it. Guests' favorite were the beignets, which I never would have ordered but dessert was included in the meal package. Man - does this team know what they are doing; guests went crazy for the beignets. An amazing experience from start to finish! I can't thank this team enough. So impressed and very grateful

Yelp
The place is huge! Lots of TV's and space. Sat at the bar and ordered a salad, wings and tequila with soda. Food was average. Service was good. I appreciated that they accommodated my request to watch a soccer match and the bartender checked on us several times. The patio is great!

Yelp
Came here to watch the Kraken game as part of Yelp Elite event. To be honest this place is kinda cool..loved the ambience. Food can be hit or miss. To be honest most of their shareable were excellent. However I would not recommend their lemon pepper wings - they just make it over salty. I think they totally ruined it. However everything else was very good - loved the pretzels. The food is bit oily - so if you don't mind consuming 1000 calories, you will have a great time here. For drinks - I recommend trying blueberry beer. Feeling embarrassed I forgot the exact name

Yelp
Had a great lunch at Moss Bay Hall on a Sunday afternoon. There was plenty of seating available and they had football on at the bar. Luke was our server and he was great! This is a beautiful new spot in downtown Kirkland. To start we had the street corn which is the best we've had up here -- and we're from San Diego! Great size for 2-3 people. For our mains my husband and I got some salads. He had the Cesar and I went with the Pear salad. We both LOVED them. Definitely recommend adding chicken to both. The only "ding" to our experience was the price. We ended up spending about $80 after the food, one beer and tip. It was pretty steep for a lunch outing... Overall we enjoyed our experience and will be back for dinner and/or drinks soon.

Yelp
I found Moss Bay Hall because I was invited there for a Yelp Elite Squad event. The event was supposed to start at 6:30 pm but I arrived at 5 pm because I had a 90 minute drive to get there and the weather was nasty. So I left very early to ensure I was not late. When I arrived I found the main entrance and made my way to the bar and ordered a huckleberry cider to sip on and wait for the event to start. While I was waiting I looked around and explored. Moss Bay Hall is definitely a sports bar theme. There are flat screen tvs throughout and a giant, full-wall screen on one wall. The space is very open-air and filled with tables of all sizes. I saw tables made from wooden barrels that had two chairs, typical tables with six chairs, picnic-style tables with bench seating, a few booths, hightop tables with eight chairs (that can have two additional chairs on the narrow ends), and even an area that had high chairs at a shelf-bar. The kitchen area is viewable through glass windows, and the cooking staff were pleasant enough to smile and wave at me while I was looking in their area. While I was there I had the chance to sample the giant, soft, oven-baked pretzel and their fried cheese curds appetizers. Both were very tasty! For my meal I chose to have the 1 pound wing offering and asked for the honey sriracha style. The wings were tender and juicy and the spice level was noticeable without being painful. I washed all this delicious food down with another huckleberry cider and then had the pleasure of sampling some beignets with three dipping sauces: chocolate, raspberry habanero, and dulce de leche.

Yelp
Food: we ordered the smash burger and chicken wings. The chicken wings were juicy and the buffalo sauce that they used had a good kick, not too spicy and not too tangy. The smash burger was delicious! The patty was juicy and cooked to perfection and the fries were crispy! The beignets were also served warm and very fluffy! I loved the sauces except for the spicy one, not my cup of tea but my table mates enjoyed it! service: the service is 5/5! From walking in and the servers and managers are just so personable! Ambiance: it's a sports bar with many tvs hung on the wall so it is a bit loud. I enjoyed the music and will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
Great food and service. They kept checking in on us which we appreciated. The ambiance is great and creates a fun environment to watch whatever game is on. There is parking at the waterfront which is about a 2 minute walk away. We came around 7:00 before the kraken game and we had no issue finding a table. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Yelp
Spacious airy beer hall with a wide variety of food menu items. Their menu includes standard pub food items like burgers and wings but also additional items like Mexican street corn, carrots and burrata. Service was quick, friendly, and kind. Food items came out very quickly, typically within 5 minutes. Plenty of TVs from multiple angles.

Yelp
This place gets packed out on the weekends and is a great spot to pop in and enjoy a drink, although there may be some negative reviews below these people may not understand how hard it is to serve hundreds of people a day and provide quality service. A few amazing servers are Justin, Bodi, and Bri, who have gone above and beyond to make sure their patrons have what they need and provide a quality product

Yelp
Great place for a quick bite to eat and it's priced right. Be careful cause a burger is $13 but if you start getting apps, double patty, dessert, few cocktails all of a sudden your bill is $70.

Yelp
If you want good beer, good food, and good times then Moss Bay Hall is the place to be! 10/10 The manager Justin is literally the coolest human, and goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome!

Yelp
We went for Father's Day brunch a few weeks back, and it was our first time here. The place is pretty nice looking and our reserved table was a HUGE booth along one wall, which dwarfed our family of 4 but made us feel really cool. We started with a shared pretzel. It tasted really good! But, the inside was cold. Not just lukewarm but not frozen, but quite cold. It was a shame but also was a harbinger of things to come. My wife and kids received their dishes a couple of minutes before mine came out, so you'd think mine was probably made last, right? Nope. Cold. And all I got was a waffle, eggs and bacon. To be fair the waffle was warm and tasted great, but the eggs and bacon and breakfast potatoes were lukewarm. And cold-ish eggs are nasty. I did enjoy the waffle but was disappointed because it takes some real skill to ruin breakfast food. I wasn't going to say anything, but at the last minute I did let our server know about the issues. He was very apologetic and told us he would speak with the manager. I let him know I wasn't looking for a free meal, but I definitely wanted to give the kitchen my feedback, but they ended up comping most of our food, which was way more than I expected them to do. Kudos to them for that. On the note of service, our server was really cool, but we only saw him maybe twice throughout our meal there. He was all over the restaurant but not super attentive. It seemed busy when we first arrived but was half empty by the time we were done so I don't know that that is a great excuse. Overall I don't know if I'd recommend this place to someone else. Seems like a real hit or miss, but I hope they can get their act together because I'd like to see them succeed and I would love a reason to go back again. I'd probably round down to two stars but the fact they comped most of the meal at least saved our morning from being ruined.

Yelp
Had an amazing Father's Day Brunch! Dad's got to keep the 1L mug! That was such a nice gesture. Had been once to the Yelp elite event here and loved it. Hubby loves German beers and couldn't think of a better place to celebrate. We did not have a reservation but we were able to get a table on the patio. Our waiter was the best. Brought me some samples of beers to help me pick the one I liked. And just as I thought, I didn't go with any of them. Saw someone drinking a Spritz and decided I wanted that. He gave me the option of Marina Spritz and I went with that. Same as regular spritz but blue in color. We ordered the hall pretzel that was delicious. The florentine Benny and the burrito were both fresh and scrumptious. A small order of fries on the side. Absolutely enjoyed the brunch here. We will be back soon!

Yelp
The food is always delicious. However we have ordered for delivery a multiple of times and not received the correct order. The receipt always says what we ordered (bbq chicken salad as a wrap) but then is delivered NOT as a wrap. Or is delivered as a Cesar chicken wrap. The lack of attention to the orders going out on deliveries annoying considering the extra fees being paid to have the order delivered

Yelp
Justin and Bodi are solid. After getting out of the office up the street late some nights, I like to pop in and grab a double patty burger extra pickles and a Seattle dog if I'm feeling wild. Great place to kick it with a solid crew. Thanks guys
