Really delicious açaí! They don’t have peanut butter which I love so that sucked a bit haha but really tasty bowl. While it’s 13 dollars which is a lot, there’s a large portion so it is worth it. Granola was especially delicious!

Google
A nice, refreshing spot to stop by while walking down Newbury Street in Boston. I grabbed the Tropical Bananza—it was okay, pretty average overall. The place itself has a clean vibe and convenient location, but the smoothie didn’t really stand out compared to others I’ve had. Good for a quick stop, but not a must-visit.

Google
Very depressing smoothie 🥤😔 Watery viscosity. Lacking any real definitive flavor of the contents. Cobblestones on Charles Street is 117x better! *Peanut butter cup🥤 I risked this place. I gambled. I lost.

Google
Small shop. Blonde worker was rude to friend. mango smoothie was kinda terrible. Berries and cream and golden hour were also not good. If I decide to come here (which you shouldn’t) get the berries smoothie. Average, wish it was better. No wheelchair access, $10/smoothie.

Google
Mother Juice's smoothies and juices are always delicious and refreshing. I love their power balls they are a great snack to grab on the go; everything is made with clean and healthy ingredients.

Very good quality finger shots and smoothies! Brings you back to Life 🌸

Google
I stop by Mother Juice almost every time on my way into the office, and it’s become one of my favorite parts of the day. They have an amazing selection of healthy foods, perfect for a quick and nutritious start. The smoothies and juices are always fresh, but my absolute favorite are the bowls—super flavorful, filling, and packed with wholesome ingredients. The staff is friendly and the vibe inside is upbeat and energizing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a healthy spot in Back Bay!

Google
We came here on a Friday afternoon and it was kind of busy and there was also this woman ahead of us that complained about her order, so I completely understand our wait time. Service was kind and very pleasant! I got the dragon fruit bowl which was alright to me. I really enjoyed the quinoa included in it but felt like the bowl lacked flavor. I would say I prefer Pressed's bowl instead, though. My friends did get bottled juices and said they were really good, so 5 stars.

Yelp
Stopped in recently and tried a new smoothie with some friends. I tried the Brotein and it was good. It's one I would get again if I come back. This location is pretty small in terms of seating and when there are a couple people ordering the orders can take a little on the longer side. The stuff seems to be nice, but sometimes it can be a little rushed, which I understand. The smoothies are still pricey, but also not totally out of the blue given the location. This is one of those places where I'd be happy to go back, but probably wouldn't go out of my way for just because of the cost. The smoothies have been good, but not anything mind blowing.

Yelp
I've never been to a Mother Juice before and it was soo good! It's filling yet so refreshing. It was a perfect smoothie to get on a hot summer day. We were shopping on Newbury and wanted something quick but also something that could hold us over and after having these smoothies, we were so full! The ingredients tasted so fresh and delicious combined together. I go The Berries and my friend got The Berries + Cream. We both finished the entire thing. So so good. The inside is a little small but there's a chance you can snag a table. There are also two benches right by the entrance, as well as a table outside you can hangout at. For us, we got our smoothies and kept continuing down Newbury Street. :)

Yelp
Mother Juice is a great place for healthy bowls, both sweet and savory. It's a small shop, but they do have some tables and seating inside. We built our own fruit bowl with the pink dragon base, adding sun butter, strawberries, bananas, hemp seeds, and quinoa puffs. It was a little pricey for a small bowl, but the ingredient quality was very good. My kid was a fan of the quinoa puffs, and it was a nice change from the usual granola in these types of bowls. For the savory bowl, we chose a bowl with roasted sweet potatoes, black rice, and a bunch of other vegetables. This was delicious. I really appreciated the person working there who, after seeing our small child, warned us that the dressing it came with was spicy, and suggested putting the (spicy) roasted cashews on the side. We swapped the dressing for a not-spicy cilantro lime, and it was a great match. That attention to detail and knowledge of the menu isn't something you find everywhere.

Yelp
Delicious smoothies, friendly fast service and nice outside seating! I had the Green Monster and it was so good!

Yelp
Love a healthy little spot like this! My sister and I swung by a couple times during our recent trip to Boston. I enjoyed the Ginger Greens smoothie which includes coconut water, orange, ginger, spinach, kale, carrot, banana, and mango ($10). I added hemp for an extra protein boost. Delish! The next time around I ordered the Deep Greens Bowl--blend of spinach, kale, avocado, green apple, spirulina, pineapple, banana and coconut milk topped with almond butter, local granola, strawberries, blueberries, coconut chips, and hemp hearts ($12). I added almond butter to make it a little more filling (and up the protein). The base itself definitely tasted green, I think I'm just not a spirulina girl haha. But the toppings helped make up for it! I also grabbed a muffin to go, which was very *moist* (could have used a couple more minutes in the oven for optimal doneness, but better than dry in my opinion) and flavorful. Sitting outside on the small patio is very pleasant during the summer. Everyone working there was friendly, and they have grab-and-go options if you're in a rush. I'd be happy to come back, and would love to try their savory options too.

Yelp
Great quick salads and healthy shakes, I wish they had more options for protein and creatine, not too many places to choose from on Newbury so this will do. Staff is nice and polite. I Order the Ginger Green, also they only have one size, med average cup, the taste wasn't bad but not delicious. 7.6 out of 10 for taste.

Yelp
Coffee smoothie was great so was the fireball shot. Service was good. Places to sit inside and out/
google avatar

Emily R.

Yelp
Eh, nothing special, you know? Got the mango green smoothie which wasn't a refreshing, thick, juicy drink like you'd hope...but it wasn't bad. (It was a bit watery though, oh and on the warmer side too--eh). Pricey run of the mill hipster green smoothies and on Newbury at that, so don't expect cheap drinks. Pretty expensive. You could totally make something better at home. A whole blender-full for the same amount of money. But for the experience?! Sip away! Sure, why not. Oh. And their plastic straws are biodegradable if that tickles your fancy.
google avatar

Nina L.

Yelp
Waited 30 minutes (not exaggerating) for a mediocre smoothie, at no fault of the employees -- very clearly understaffed and it seemed like management had not tried at all to streamline the order / preparation process. Smoothie was boring and I could have made it myself -- especially for the exorbitant price. Depressing atmosphere.

Yelp
We just grabbed a couple of smoothies, which were made fresh and were delicious. Service was super friendly. Inside and outside seating areas were reasonably clean. It's cozy. Healthy and fresh - recommended!

Yelp
I've come in several times within the past week and a half as I recently started working in the area. Every time I have left happy with my order. Açaí bowl has been my goto. Love how freshly prepared each bowl is, filling enough to be a lunch, and a good alternative to some of the heavier options in the area. The staff is friendly. There are five small tables inside as well as one outside so it's a nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy your meal and time.

Brigitte W.

Yelp
went wayyy downhill. no salads is a serious downer and my acai bowl was inedible. used to be a favorite of mine
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
I love Mother Juice! They have plenty of delicious vegan options including baked goods. The service at this location has always been great! There are a few tables inside and a few outside in summer.
google avatar

Marissa R.

Yelp
Had a yummy lunch here today. I ordered the taco bowl and the portion was HUGE. I was able to sub kale for spinach, and the walnut "meat" was deliciously flavorful. The restaurant itself is cute, but seating is limited and the tables outside are kind of awkward. It was also ridiculously loud inside, so it was tough to talk to each other. I didn't order any juice, but it did seem pretty pricey (almost $10 for a cup). I would consider coming again for lunch if I was in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly & knowledgeable staff, fresh & delicious juice, but i'm just not sold on their açaí bowls. I prefer the base to be more açaí forward, but these often have a heavy taste of banana. Especially when not blended completely, leaving massive chunks of frozen solid açaí purée. I'll likely return for their juice, but recommend steering clear of their bowls. Such a bummer since the location is very convenient.

Linda Y.

Yelp
GREAT GREAT GREAT FOOD, not great staff. I've been here a bunch of times because they have awesome and delicious gluten free options. Every time I go here, the staff do not speak, they don't acknowledge your presence, they don't ask what you want, they don't say anything when you leave. They just listen to your order, flip the iPad and expect a tip. And it's not just one person, every single time I go here it's like that. You might as well just have it be a self service type of place again, food is awesome.
google avatar

Christine J.

Yelp
Portion has significantly reduced to 2/3 or less for the açaí bowls. Inconsistent taste as well. They have so much potential and should be getting better as a business. Hoping they'll come around as I'll still go from time to time hoping for good changes.
google avatar

Kathryn G.

Yelp
Quite the interior with all of the plants on the wall. More importantly, the "Life on Mars" smoothie bowl I ordered was amazing! I've had plenty of bowls, usually Nekter (the California benchmark for smoothie bowls), and this beats theirs on flavor. It tastes very refreshing. I especially loved the quality of all of the ingredients, especially the toppings. There was almond butter, whole almonds, granola, coconut, blueberries and strawberries. My only negative comment would be that the portion is on the smaller side for the price paid.

Yelp
Mother Juice is a scrumptious, health-based cafe where you can satisfy your smoothie, rice bowl, or even avocado toast cravings. It's a small space that can fill up quick, so finding a seat can be a hit-or-miss. Their pricing is also pretty steep. I've tried their Overnight Oats bowl ($7.25) which is the best thing on the menu! :- ) It consists of a large helping of overnight oats in almond mylk, a dollop of sun butter, a mix of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, and coconut flakes. It's super filling with loads of nutritious textures packed in a bowl. This can run out fast on the weekends so be sure to have back up bowl in mind. I've also tried their Chia Seed Pudding ($7.25) which is made of chia seeds soaked in coconut mylk, berries, and syrup. It's kind of tasteless so I'd recommend asking for extra syrup for that yummy sweetness factor! I've had their Taco Bowl ($11.95) as well. It consists of kale, spicy black rice, cilantro, walnut "meat", tomatoes, scallions, and slabs of avocado. There's a two-sauce drizzle of vegan queso and lime cilantro dressing. Although this bowl wasn't spicy at all, it was delicious! I appreciated all the fresh ingredients, especially the avocado!!!! I wasn't a huge fan of the vegan queso because it was too overpowering and took away from the experience. I loved the lime cilantro dressing though. :- )

Yelp
The first time I came here (about a year ago) I did not like it at all. The teenagers working there were standoffish, had no recommendations, and blasted awful rap music (I like rap, it wasn't big, Nas, Snoop, 50, Eminem, post Malone, etc.) But when I went today, the food/juices were so, so good. Carly, the girl working in the front, was extremely kind and understanding, with great recommendations. I got (from the fridge premade) a matcha + mint drink, rose raspberry chia pudding, and a shot of ginger. I also ordered Forbidden Rice from the Salad menu and a fresh juice with lots of ginger and I think pineapple, cayenne, black pepper, and I'm not sure what else. The chia seed pudding was so yummy, I poured in some of the matcha + mint drink and it was even better. The Forbidden Rice Salad was incredible. Such fresh ingredients and a nice balance of flavors that were presented in a way that made every bite just as good as the last. The juice was really good also, but you have to really like ginger or it'll be too intense. The other juices on the menu are probably all good, just pick fruits/vegetables that you like to eat at home and you can't go wrong. My fav at home combo is apples, beets, carrots, and ginger. Based on my experience, since the menu has a wide variety of flavor choices, you have to kind of experiment with different ones; And figure out what ingredients/flavors you like and don't like, so that you can find the right ones for you.

Yelp
Avocado toast has a cherry tomato on it :) Try the fire shot! Nice interior, relaxing / trendy hipster/ simple

Yelp
The crowded seating area where everyone was waiting for their order should have been a warning, but we proceeded to order smoothies from the menu. The attendant didn't ask for our name for the order -- another warning sign, but the day was hot and we waited, and waited and waited. It was odd that with each order that came up, no names were announced -- just the description. After about 20 minutes, one of the smoothies we ordered was announced, but we waited another 10 minutes and the other was announced. A young man who ordered well after we did grabbed it before we could and quickly took a sip. We waited 5 more minutes for our second smoothie. After all that, the quality was mediocre at best. The service was poor. The two young women working at the time appeared to be trying but it seemed that both were new to the job and more concerned with taking orders than filling them. Bottom line: If you don't mind waiting a half-hour for a mediocre smoothie, then give it a try -- otherwise walk to Fanueil Hall, which will be much faster.

Sam Z.

Yelp
cute little vegan place. Smoothie was very tasty and the woman at the counter was super nice and helpful!
google avatar

Shrinal P.

Yelp
Not a fan of how most of the juices are premade and stored. In order to get the full nutritious benefit, juice should be consumed almost immediately after pressed. The acai bowl was okay. I have had way better. The place is also pretty pricey. However, it is located in a convenient area on Newbury street. A great pick me up after a workout at the near by boutique studios or shopping break.
google avatar

Adelina K.

Yelp
I didnt try any if their food. I haven't been on Newbury St. in... months... I had to run an errand and walked by this place. The name caught my eye. Reminds me of mother earth? I can only assume this was their thought concept because of the quality of mother juices (natures) fruits. I ordered the Almond love smoothie and its really tasty. Filling. One size only 16oz. Slightly pricy, but they make their own almond milk and you get what you pay for. Hence, if you want small businesses to thrive and you want healthy options. Then you need to pay for it and vote with your lifestyle. If it's too pricey for you then take the time to make it yourself. The inside was really cute vibe. Small space. Esthetically nice. Music is loud, I personally wouldn't be able to do work there, but it was fun dropping in. The best part, they recycle! Hope to be back one day to try the eats.
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
I come here often and it is very inconsistent. The front end employees are usually wonderful, but I don't know what's going on in the back. I ordered a bowl and waited 10 minutes before I was asked what I was waiting for and they had made the wrong bowl. One of the employees from the back even came out to pet a dog and then went back, so not too sure where their focus is. Love their stuff, just fix these miscommunication problems!
google avatar

Audrey M.

Yelp
This place is really cute and you can tell the use fresh ingredients in all their food. The smoothies and bowls are pretty overpriced, especially as you can see from the photos they essentially give you no smoothie in the açaí bowl. If you really are craving a smoothie bowl these are good enough but pricey.
google avatar

Tricity A.

Yelp
A lot of healthy options with a lot of smoothies, bowls, toasts on the menu. It's very quick and convenient but is also overpriced. People are friendly here, and there's a lot of seating. I've only been on a Saturday morning for a post workout snack, and there was plenty of seating at that time, but it looks like it might be more crowded at other times.
google avatar

Terence M.

Yelp
Cool, thoughtful little spot. Lots of options and creative combinations Igor juice, smoothies, sandwiches, and salads. Efficient and friendly staff didn't make me wait lo no even during a busy rush. Nicely done!

Krissi G.

Yelp
Very cute store! The inside was very aesthetic and happy. We came for lunch and ordered the Açai Bowl and the Super Green Salad. The açai was yummy and the granola with nuts was very good. The fruit was a little tart though. The Super Green Salad was not very great and we had to wait like 30 minutes for it... There wasn't much dressing at all and all of the veggies on top were barely cut. The pieces were HUGE except for the shredded carrots and beets. The actual leaves were cut smaller though, but the flavors just weren't doing it for us. Probably would not come back.

Ella M.

Yelp
Got the avocado toast. Pick up was easy and smooth, but the avocado toast wasn't anything too special. Super small and didn't have any seasoning.

Allyson D.

Yelp
Smoothies are okay definitely fresh pastries. Food is not bad as well. Very small place can't sit anywhere take out only
google avatar

Erica W.

Yelp
This place is so good. The açaí bowl and health bomb are my favorites. You should definitely go!! It's a very cute place and the staff is very nice too.

Veronica R.

Yelp
The taco bowl was not fresh and therefore, gave me food poisoning. I am disappointed as I love this place.

Monica O.

Yelp
The food is inconsistent. If you go in a Monday or Tuesday afternoon, you'll get well-prepared food you'll definitely enjoy, that's fresh and delicious. However, if you go on a Thursday late afternoon, you get inedible slop, apparently. Never have I ever gotten a forbidden rice bowl that was this slimy and watery. What is all of this? It's gross...and this is after I poured most of it out. It's, legit, inedible. Granted, they offered a refund but that doesn't change the fact that I now don't have dinner...an overpriced one, at that. "Mother Juice" owners or managers, you need to train your Thursday, late afternoon kitchen staff because this is unacceptable.

Johanna C.

Yelp
Such a great smoothie but I ordered the mango poke bowl which clearly says it included avocado on the menu and they didn't put any :( I got to go so I was disappointed when I got home and realized. It's a 13$ salad so if it says it includes avocado it should include it, or the employees could have notified me if they were out. Very sad :(

Leslie S.

Yelp
I get smoothies and treats here daily, and my orders have always been perfect! Today I accidentally ordered to a different location through the website, they were able to honor my order and notify the other location for me. I really appreciate the gesture and the excellent customer service!! Thank you!!
google avatar

F B.

Yelp
Love this place! Perfect spot for healthy vegans who also are gf and sf. Got the taco salad today (without rice, because grains feed strep bacteria and I am healing SIBO (which is too much strep in the gut)). The taco salad was so amazing!! Flavor bomb delish. Love that they have organic juices here and all their nut mylks are homemade (so no fillers and gums and other bad additives). Good quality, super tasty and friendly and reasonably priced.
google avatar

Sharon C.

Yelp
Great place for a smoothie or juice! Juices are all cold pressed. I was a regular when I lived in Back Bay. I've never had an acai bowl here so can't attest to the size or taste. The overnight oats are great. The store itself is small and gets very crowded. Took away 1 star because I feel like some of the items are indeed overpriced.
google avatar

Katharine P.

Yelp
The taco salad is amazing! So fresh. My go to lunch place when I was working on Newbury St.

Will B.

Yelp
Always friendly and helpful staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and a great tasting and creative menu. Something here for everyone. Choices from nutritious and workout friendly to sweet and satisfying. Locations on Newbury st and at Kendall square are convenient to other businesses as well.

Jane C.

Yelp
Smoothie bowls are super small (they give you half filled bowls). When we asked about the potion getting smaller compared to previous visits, the lady that helped us just shrugged her shoulders and told us there's nothing she can do about it. Service is quite horrible in this Mother Juice location. On top of this, their loyalty program if you are a regular is ridiculous. After buying $20 bowls ($200) you geta 1% discount of $2 off. Really looking forward to the new smoothie spot on Newbury to open!!
google avatar

India W.

Yelp
Perfect every time I go! They have amazing vegan options and their smoothies are made fresh in house. The interior design inside is so cute- plants everywhere, just a really good vibe. I Definitely recommend the mango green smoothie.
google avatar

Ashish S.

Yelp
This is a great place for smoothies. The smoothies I bought were so rich in their contents that I felt refreshed. Agreed it's not cheap, but the quality is top class. I'd highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Andy K.

Yelp
This is my favorite juice bar. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. They don't skimp on ingredients that you'd expect in pressed juice, smoothies breakfast bowls or salads.
google avatar

Brittany J.

Yelp
The best cold pressed juice in Boston! The staff is fantastic and actually care that you get exactly what you're looking for. everything on the menu is delicious!!

Emily B.

Yelp
I used to love Mother Juice, but now regret every penny I've wasted there over the last two years; I used to get an overnights oats bowl, smoothie, or a forbidden rice bowl daily. Today after paying $11 for an acai bowl I was appalled to find it less than halfway filled to the already small plastic container it is prepared in. The acai is actually pre-blended.. how fresh. It is seriously ridiculous how obvious it was. This prompted me to locate a photo I took a few months ago when I paid extra for this avocado. Can you find it? I brought the forbidden rice bowl back up and said it was supposed to have avocado to which the upper left corner was pointed out to me. I think today will be my last trip.

Danni G.

Yelp
Love love love coming here. Simple and easy service. I know what I want and I know what I'm getting each time I come in. Take advantage of ordering ahead...not because they are slow but because you can enjoy the wonderful toasts, salads, and smoothies. Yum yum yum

Allison S.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite place in all of Boston. Everything tastes so fresh and clean. The vibe is amazing and the staff is always so friendly. The MoJu juice is by far my favorite.
