I’ve had this dish many times in many places, and this is a pretty good version of it. But trust me: do NOT order their “Iconic, which includes both thigh and breast. You really only want the thigh, which is tender, flavorful and traditional. Somewhere between the poaching temperature, time and the packaging, their chicken breast becomes inedibly tough. Happened twice in a row. Stick with thigh. Also, 2/3 times I’ve gotten a minuscule serving of their excellent “lucky sauce” portion. Fill those sauce cups higher!

This is not Hainan chicken. What I got instead was a sort of shredded chicken over rice? It definitely didn't match images on the restaurant oder page. I also ordered the tofu for my girlfriend. They managed to leave the tofu off and sent me home with a plate of rice. Not super happy with the experience.

Zero star! False advertising!!! It is nothing like hainan chicken omg! Sooooooo bad! The meat is chalky and dry, and flavorless!!! Anyone can make it better with zero cooking experience! How can they sell this? We want our money back!!!

I have ordered the dark meat version of this dish 5-6 times. Love it. A lot. It always hits the spot. My one criticism is that in some cases (sauce, Brussels sprouts) the portions are kind of skimpy. The Lucky Sauce is SO good, but they don't give you enough of it, and they charge $2 for extra. Dear Mother Klucker: I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Please don't skimp on those things!

Get the dark meat. We loved it. It’s delicious and pretty close to the version I could get in Thailand except the sauce. The sauce is good but I think could be better. The wings are delicious too. We got the “son-in-law” sauce for the wings.

Wow! The office ordered this for us today. The KMG Dark is super delicious and the portions are huge for the price! This was the first time and won't be the last. This type of food is great for the gains in the gym. Zyzz would be proud!

Really great simple meal, moist chicken, such a delicious rice cooked in a filling house-made chicken broth. One of the best simple chicken meals available. Very fast. Nothing fancy. Perfect amount of seasonings.

So so disappointing. Not at all as pictured. The meat was dry, there was no chicken skin, and the rice was mushy. The sauce was ok. Drove 25 minutes for this.
