Turkish and Indian Food Stalls Are Slated for Broadway Market - Eater Denver

"Mother Tongue will feature a condensed menu of five or six dishes, including doner kebab, falafel, and frites, at least to start. Anticipating a frequently changing menu, it will start with a Turkish approach but may explore Korean barbecue or a knishery in the future." - Gigi Sukin

This spot was a nice surprise in Broadway Market. I have had the Chicken Dōner salad in both a bowl and wrap and loved it! One of the healthier spots in the food hall as well, I highly recommend it. Look forward to checking out the lamb in the future.

This place was in the Denver passbook, so we decided to give it a shot. I cannot put into words how incredibly tasty and healthy this place is. The lamb bowl was easily one of the best dishes I've had inside Broadway market, let alone Denver compared to other Mediterranean spots. The lamb itself had a savory smoked flavor that left me craving more. The staff was really friendly, the guy even tried to deliver my food to me as I was getting a beer, instead of waiting for me to pick it up. Eat here, you won't be sorry.

Location : Inside Broadway Market Chicken Doner was not only aesthetically pleasing but totally delicious. So, for our first foray into Turkish cuisine, it was a great intro. Big portion size, service was quick and very pleasant. Will definitely be back to sample more dishes.

The Lamb Doner was delicious! I have a number of food allergies (dairy, peanuts), but the staff was very helpful about informing me of their ingredients. If you're a picky eater like me, I recommend getting some of the toppings on the side if you're unsure of them. Personally, I loved the harissa aioli, roasted tomatoes, and cured vegetables, but I did not care for the onion jam or tahini slaw. The seasoned fries were also great, especially with the garlic aioli dipping sauce. One other note: beware of the Moroccan Olives. I usually love olives, but found these to be extremely salty, as it must be a curing style that I'm not used to. Overall still a great experience, I'll be back!

No bueno! Ordered the chicken bowl. The chicken tasted like when you leave a King Soopers rotisserie chicken in the refrigerator for a week and then realize it tastes horrible. Paid $13 and only ate 3 bites.

I eat the chicken doner bowl at least once per week and it’s always delicious.

I went back after a first bad impression. Management was quick to contact me and offered to rectify the issue. Suffice to say they didn’t disappoint. Everything tasted great and portion size was great as well. Thank you again for being so quick to reply and taking care of me

Came by the Broadway Market for lunch and ordered the lamb wrap and fries. The lamb was way over salted. I couldn’t taste anything other than salt. Super disappointing. Fries were good.
