"On game days, the sports bar transforms its parking lot into a “Purple Patio” with two bars, a DJ and the Ravens’ color and logo painted on the side of the building. Enjoy unlimited drinks and one food item on the patio for $35 before heading to the game. Or eat inside to see photos and jerseys of football legends." - Julekha Dash

For sure, a fun spot to pregame at if there is a game! We got the tip from a local, and it definitely lived up to the reputation. There were multiple areas to party and drink! From the inside to the outside, it was a good time. Certainly a bit crowded, but you gotta go there knowing what you're getting into. The live DJ killed it, and it was a good Ravens fan experience. We ate prior to joining the party. The food was decent, and the potatoes stood out the most. They were perfect! Would for sure go back next time I am in town. Overall, I give Mother's Federal Hill Grille a 4 out of 5.

The atmosphere was fantastic, fun, open, with a nice sports bar feel. Food was very good and will definitely be back

First time here and the place was great. Crab pretzel was so delicious

I would have given this place a really high review before my visit yesterday. I came to Mothers before during restaurant week last year. It was great food and service but yesterday I truly have not felt so insulated at a restaurant. My partner and I went to happy hour and dinner and me and my partner ordered the $10 burger deal. I got the smash burger and she got a turkey burger. Here food was fine but for some reason my burger was EXTREMELY salty (like they made a mistake salty) and I have a pretty high threshold for salt. I tried to eat it but couldn't get past eating a quarter of the sandwich. I brought it up with the waitress and she went to the manager and just cam back and said "he is giving you a discount on the burger". She didn't offer to correct it, he didn't com over and inquire about my food, no apology.... Nothing. So we get the bill with incorrect charges for our toppings and just a 25% discount on the food that I didn't eat. So I ask to speak with a manager. He comes over to our table and tells me that they do not season their burgers insinuating that I am lying or trying to get over or something on a $10 burger. He literally went back and forth with me and was extremely unprofessional and passive aggressive. I will never go their again.

Google
Good place to have brunch before the game. Nothing spectacular. My experience was just above a basic diner. The mimosas are 50/50 mix but they need to be more like 75/25 to be actually good.

Great place-stopped in on my way through to DC for a late lunch. Still has the outdoor seating, pretty safe neighborhood. Got the French Dip sandwich and a few beers. Good and service were excellent. Not very crowded at 445 PM but steady. Great people watching! Have been coming here for a long time and will continue to stop in when I’m in BMore.

Google
Oh Mother what happened? This place used to be so crowded on any given day and food WAS good!! Not the case this Sunday and i think i know why. I don’t have covid but the little crabcake was tasteless 😫. Maybe it was a thanksgiving crabcake because there was a lot of stuffing and no flavor. I’m going back to Nick’s Fish House on Insulator Drive. Yum!! Mother’s Sweet potato fries 👎 soaked in oil and no taste…probably frozen. Tarter sauce changed also, heavy mayo with a tad bit of relish. Never ever again!!!

Google
The food is amazing. I had the Fully Loaded Smash Burger 🍔 with fries. For dessert the Bread Pudding Beignets were amazing with vanilla ice cream.

Yelp
We came here for the superbowl and Mother's blew it out of the water with service and provisions! We were served by an amazing staff and the food was superb. We tried the crab pretzel, the Lamarvelous cheesesteak, and the Shrimp Po'Boy. Everything was so good and we will definitely be back!

Christine M.

Yelp
Ordered off DoorDash 1/2PD steamed shrimp and potatoes and received maybe 5-6 shrimp. Bite sized potatoes, flavor on potatoes and onions was good, shrimp was overcooked. Also ordered the bread pudding beignets which are always amazing, but I paid for extra caramel and between two caramel cups it did not even equal one full one so that was disappointing.

Yelp
My husband and I came here before a Ravens game and it's a great place to come!! We started with some beer and the Camden Crab Dip. They have a pretty good selection of beers. The Camden crab dip was so good!! We hung out for a while longer before ordering our meals. I got to be crab eggs Benedict on the brunch menu and it was so good. There was a perfect amount of crab and the potatoes it came with were super crispy. My husband got the Raven bone in wings. These were probably the best part. The honey added a really good flavor. Our waitress Lindsey (I think that was her name) was super friendly and came around often even after we were done ordering food and just getting beers. This is a good place to come before a Ravens game because they have good food, drinks and a great atmosphere!!

Yelp
Stopped in on a Friday night with a group of 8 people. The staff were so nice and attentive. The place has a bar and a few long tables w/ high chairs. We ordered the crab dip, chicken nachos, chicken tenders and shrimp. Everything tasted good. The dj played great music and took some request. Overall great experience they also had all you can drink for $25.

Shadarra A.

Yelp
We sat at the bar and the inside was cold at first so it pushed most of the customers in the back of the restaurant to the dining area. So no one but one person was at the bar. The bartender was pretty nice and he took our drink orders and he gave a decent size shot. The food was hot and came out quick. The ambiance was chill once the delivery door closed. It was a chill relaxing lunch. Reasonably priced and in and out. The music was cool also. I got the bacon burger which was super huge. My friend got the honey old bay wings. The food was good. They never disappoint.

Turhan R.

Yelp
18% gratuity added to checks after 4...requested the bill and they took long to purposely make sure it was printed after 4...never going back

Yelp
During a recent visit to Baltimore I ate at Mother's Grille. We sat outside because the weather was nice and really enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter was awesome (don't recall his name), but the food left something to be desired. I had the gumbo and my brother had the catfish nuggets. The gumbo was much too thick. It was like they didn't add enough water to the roux or something. And the catfish nuggets were slimy! My brother loves to cook so he knew instantly that the people preparing the food hadn't probably cooked the catfish. The manager came over to speak with us and took the catfish off the bill. I didn't mention to her that I thought the gumbo was terrible as well. My brother had a few drinks too which he really enjoyed. I don't recall what they were though. Next time I'm out east we'll skip this place altogether.

Yelp
Mother's does what it aims to achieve, exceptionally well. Solid modern American comfort and pub food, served super fast at fair prices. Budget time for the parking hunt, but worth the effort.

Yelp
Simply the best. I'd like to start this off by giving a huge shoutout to Emily, she's usually there on weekends for brunch, she will take the BEST care of you. Mothers just never misses. It's a chill place that you can pull up to wearing whatever. Vibes are always on and service is great. Their bottomless brunch is FANTASTIC. Prices are affordable and the food is delicious. Some standouts are the avocado Benedict, breakfast burrito, the mother load, and the western omelette. The home fries have a death grip on me, I have never had a such a crispy savory bite of a potato like that before. Comes as a side for most brunch options, if not then get a side of it PLEASE. They have the perfect mimosas ratios and once you order bottomless anything you can switch to bloodies or crushes. What sets Mothers apart is their options, so many freaking options to get whatever you want! I haven't been for just brunch don't worry. Lunch and dinner are also great. Drinks are always strong and purple patio will live on FOREVER. For a quick bite or a long time hangout, this is the spot in fed. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner they have you covered.

Ashley M.

Yelp
The atmosphere was nice, the servers and back servers are nice paid attention to each table. We were taken care of checked on and food came out quick enough. The drinks weren't half bad. (I need to try more of them) we went for brunch around 12 .30, on a Sunday and it wasn't to packed but it did start to fill up. I will be back again

Porsha C.

Yelp
Elevated delicious bar food and a nice atmosphere. We received excellent service at 8PM on a Friday. Although it's a bar, there is a dining area we sat at since we brought our teenage son. I wouldn't recommend coming with younger children at night since the music was loud but we loved the vibes plus the food was great! We ordered the crab pretzel and quesadilla for appetizers. Plus the steak and cheese, egg burger and shrimp po boy for dinner. Everything was so flavorful and they have homemade salad dressings that were amazing as dipping sauces!

Briana S.

Yelp
I ate here for brunch last Sunday before the Ravens Steelers game. Since this location is in Federal Hill there is mostly just street parking. This a busy and popular area with many bars. My boyfriend and I split the cross street bison burger and the prime rib French dip. They were both good! The bison burger was cooked okay. I asked for it medium well and it was more well done than I wanted. The egg on top was a nice touch and the horseradish sauce was yummy. The prime rib sandwich was also good, especially with the French dip. The fries were also tasty. Everything was good, just not amazing. This is a good place for a reliable meal.

Ty M.

Yelp
So since I have started this review I have already been to this place 3 times. Real bar atmosphere, like college kids, and locals. Nice size bar and they also have a outside. I've ordered the wings and Mac and cheese two times already. The wings are definitely good and the sauces hit too! U might need a side order of sauce because sometimes they are slightly not as wet as I would like. They have homemade blue cheese and ranch which is to die for!! Like litty it's really good so get a extra side of that too lol. The service is good when sitting inside. They get overwhelmed with service at times it seems but the food is good. Drinks we're ok. They have a good beer selection but the drinks were just ok

Farah K.

Yelp
Perfectly serviceable bar for groups, couples and even people with dogs looking to eat outside in the patio area. I got an order of old bay flavored wings which did have quite a kick to them being honest. My boyfriend got a veggie burger with sweet potato fries which he enjoyed. Will say it was pretty good in terms of having vegetarian options for a place that serves bar food. Some items seem priced a little higher than I would place them at, but for the most part it's pretty reasonably priced.

Rae B.

Yelp
This was my first time in Baltimore and my first time at Mothers. The ambience was crazy because we visited on a Sunday after a Ravens win. The food and customer service and hospitality were amazing. The service was fast and the food portions huge. I took half my food home. If I come back to the city I will surely come back to this place !

Yelp
When it comes time for Baltimore Restaurant Week I gravitate towards finding ritzy, pricier places where I normally wouldn't wine and dine myself, using RW as the opportunity to try them out at a more affordable price point..so to be honest, since Mother's is a low-key tavern, I've enjoyed before for happy hour, I was going to pass them over...but I was drawn to the delicious sounded dishes and decided to just go for it .so glad I did! Between hubby and I, we ordered the crab cake eggroll, short rib poutine, sticky bbq ribs, oscar ribeye, bread pudding beignets, and the heath brownie w. chocolate ice cream. The portions were massive! We ended up eating the appetizers, saw how big the entrees were- knew dessert was coming-so we boxed our entrees to ensure we had room for dessert Flavor-wise everything was super delicious. The crab cake eggrolls were STUFFED..STUFFED with crab dip-oozing out of crispy but not greasy crunchy eggroll shells- a unique pairing of crab dip & bacon chunks they had bold flavor. The short rib poutine had large chunks of tender, moist short rib on top of crunchy, crispy fries-it was a massive plate. Shareable not only for the two of us, but 4 could have easily shared the plate. The sticky ribs were very sticky, loaded with an Asian zing sauce- the rice was just average blan white rice, but the spiced green beans packed a punch. Oscar Ribeye-was a creamy, melt in your mouth-juicy seared medium rare to perfection steak topped with sauce and crab meat over a bed of creamier mashed potatoes and the thickest asparagus. The bread pudding beignets weren't really beignets, more like bread pudding donut chunks-but were super dense with warm cinnamon caramel flavors The brownie was average compared to everything else-but can't go wrong with a warm brownie smothered in ice cream I will definitely keep them in mind for RW again! Only woe- parking was an absolute mess- we ended up parking SO far away. Inside there was a lot of seating, the place is massive with lots of variety on where you want to hang out. It was noisy, but we didn't' mind since it covered up noisy baby

Sabrina P.

Yelp
Great place to catch a game. The bar is huge with many sections both indoors and outside. The ravens wings were delicious. A bit of old bay and honey, also the cheesesteak was filling and well seasoned. The drinks are decently priced but I was not a fan of the orange crush. It tasted just like a large glass of orange juice (maybe that's the point) but it wasn't for me.

Ganiyat L.

Yelp
If you're looking for somewhere chill in fed hill to go hang out with your friends, get out mother's! Easily one of my favorite spot and their restaurant week menu has been the best in Baltimore so far! The portion sizes were big that we had to take home so much food. Everything we had was phenomenal. Some stands out are the poutine, crab egg roll, and bread pudding beignet. I can't wait to come back. They have a bunch of stuff going on in February so check them out! Only complaint I had was the the staff was not wearing masks but I'm not surprised given the vibe.

Smitha M.

Yelp
When I lived in Federal Hill, coming to Mother's Patio was a quintessential experience to being a Baltimorean and tailgating before, during, and after the game. Today, I came to visit Mother's after a while and the place has not changed. The waitress and staff are so friendly and hospitable, you feel at home coming in to watch the football game, ordering a beer, chatting with friends and befriending Baltimoreans. It's not super crowded on days when Ravens are playing outside the state, but it can be packed for really important games so be mindful of that. I got a veggie burger and the pumpkin cider. I like how any burger can be customized with a veggie patty, making it flexible for people with diet restrictions.

Mike D.

Yelp
Crabcakes are amazing! Never disappoints. Just a short distance of the highway, well worth it.

Yelp
I came here for a brunch event that was supposed to be held from 11am till 2pm. Parking is a bit of a challenge. Unless your lucky enough to get Parking on the street. Now I didn't like that upon entering they claimed our event was not ready for us yet. Now you would not know this from watching this from the outside. This grill is a lot bigger than it looks. They actually have three different seating sections. We were all the way in the back near the restroom area. So apparently our event was running late. So they told us we can wait till the event start but we have to buy a drink to be seated and wait. Whatever we already paid a entry fee and we definitely had plan on purchasing food so we ordered the drink. It was actually good. They told us where the event would be held and seating was first come first serve. I felt like for a sold out event they should have reserved seating. We still ended up with a booth so it was all good. We had four in my group. The event finally started about thirty minutes later. It was a good event. The food was ok my home fries wasn't bad as well as my steak. It came with an egg cooked the way I like. The prices was pretty reasonable. Our server was excellent. He stayed on point with us checked on us often. I do have a word of recommendation. Who's idea was it to put ice in mimosas. That's not cool. Who wants a watered down mimosa. When it's already a light drink. My girlfriends pitcher was full of ice. (Champagne and orange juice) does not require ice. Please take a lesson on how to serve a mimosa. Other than that they have an extensive drink menu.

Rachel E.

Yelp
Chocolate Martinis were delicious , Jambalaya was good but not the best or New Orleans Style. Maryland Crab soup and Crab Dip were really good. Great environment for brunch or a friends' reunion. Parking can be a struggle.

Steph H.

Yelp
I haven't been in person yet but I ordered from here twice in a row because I was so happy with the first order. Craving a turkey club, I decided to try Mother's and it was insanely delicious. I elevated it with additions like crab, avocado, sprouts, onions and it was just bomb. Tonight I tried the chicken sandwich with avocado and gouda and of course added their jalapeno bacon again because it's cooked exactly how I like it-- super crispy! I love how you can customize orders and tweak to make it exactly how you like it for a fast delivery/takeout. It comes with a side and the menu is extensive and price points are great. I may just order again tomorrow!

Barbi B.

Yelp
I went for a simple breakfast and we ended up getting the breakfast nachos, crème brûlée French toast, and crab & shrimp omelette. Breakfast was alright, nothing particularly amazing. The server was friendly and very attentive. I'll probably go back for lunch or dinner and drinks.

Steve E.

Yelp
I came here "Post Covid" and on Thanksgiving Day weekend (I knew less people would be out eating) And it was my first time here.. Wear a mask, be mindful. I was greeted kindly by the host who asked indoor or outdoor, we said outdoor ..seated us (party of 3) Server was nice and made great recommendations. Menu outside says they have "fish and chips", they dont. Food was excellent. My mom loved the crab cake sandwich only reason I give them a 4 stars is because the server didn't mention the side items were an extra cost nor did they mention it on the menu (outside or inside). I figured its tough times and did not want to make a hassle about it.

Cheryl S.

Yelp
A good bar/restaurant to visit to drink and to watch sporting games at. During football season they open their purple patio outside, which is always a fun time and I can't wait for it again. They offer a variety of wings, salads, entrees, and sandwiches on their menu. I ordered a cup of chili and a bison burger on my recent visit. The chili is always amazing and I get it every time I come. The garlic butter bison burger was tasty, but kinda dry and I felt it needed some type of cheese or other sauce on it. I had asked for a side of ranch and mayo for the burger and they charged an additional .50 cents each on the check, which would have been fine, but there was no mention of this beforehand. I also didn't like the fact that all of the sandwiches come with chips, and it's extra to substitute fries. I opted for substituting the chips for onion rings and those were phenomenal, but again, I just wish they would have offered a sauce with them. They offer inside and outside seating, as well as seating in the dining room, bar area, and the back room. When coming here I am usually able to find street parking on Charles St. or Light St. and if not there is a garage close by on E West st. Would probabl

Chris D.

Yelp
Stopped by before a game nearby. The place was busy but the hostess found our larger group a table pretty quickly. The service was a little slow and the prices for food and drinks are a little steep. Yet, the food was quite good for a bar. The drinks were just ok and the water tasted a little stale. The featured drinks were just overly sweet in my opinion, but had the potential to be good Overall, I would stop by for happy hour or trivia/ karaoke on Wednesdays but wouldn't be super eager to go back. Def get the smash burger and onions rings if you do stop by

Cleo P.

Yelp
This was my second time giving Mother's a shot. It was my first time at brunch and it truly won me over. The sangria was amazing and the serving was epic. My scramble was tasty and the egg rolls which may have been a special of some sort were epic. The service was quick. Overall a pleasant experience.

Debbie W.

Yelp
My group chose to eat here due to the significant amount of brunch options. I ordered the Crème Brûlée French Toast which was absolutely fantastic. The home fries included were crispy and the right amount of salty. I highly recommend stopping by Mothers for some brunch!

John H.

Yelp
Went for lunch and had the blt crab sandwich. It was ok but nothing special. The place is probably a fun drinking place on the weekends. Food prices seemed high.

Antonio M.

Yelp
#Baltimore @mothersgrille had some delicious wings. We ordered Sriracha Honey and Firecracker. They're really strict about not mixing flavors, but they did us a solid and mixed them anyways. Forgot who the waiter was, but it turned out he followed me here on IG so he hooked it up. This was the last stop for me and my cousin @nikkitric . The wings weren't as crispy as I was hoping, the sauces were definitely on point and as you can see, they were meaty. Huge @ravens sports bar here. Slide through to see the memorabilia. * * #AntonioIsFly #Wings #ChickenWings #Fit #Fitness #FollowMe #LasVegas #Home #Foodie #WingFest #Travel #Traveling #FoodPorn #Lunch #WingWednesday #BuffaloWings #NFL #CheatMeal

Yelp
This was the worst slimy chicken I've had ever. The fries were supposed to be loaded with cheese and bacon. What I received was way off of being loaded. I asked for garlic Buffalo and got none of the sort. I was very disappointed. Especially since they had pretty decent reviews. Food is too expensive to not have ur order delivered and it be correct.

William S.

Yelp
I just finished a great lunch with a client, we had shrimp, crab dip and both had pork BBQ sandwiches. There was plenty to eat, service was great and the food was very good.

Tiffany D.

Yelp
I came here on Sunday evening to grab drinks and food with a few friends. The spot was having an after game turn up in the bar area and outdoors so the area was pretty crowded. We quickly got seats in the eating area and the service was quick and efficient despite being a packed house. The seating is rather tight--not a deal breaker, just be prepared to be closely seated to other parties or backed up into a corner. The food was decent. I ordered a chicken cheese steak. I did not like the meat to break ratio and ended up eating it open face and taking off the top half of the sub roll. The fries were really good! I didn't like that I was up charged $1:50 for fries though. My friends had the chicken pesto sandwich and they really liked that. I would come again, probably trying a burger on the next visit.

Tristen B.

Yelp
Checked into Mother's on a Thursday Night Football game. It was awesome getting an instant coupon for calamari upon checking in. The calamari was clearly fresh and hand-breaded. Thursday night drink specials were awesome too! The food was good but left a little to be desired. The portion sizes were great and the ingredients were fresh, but I personally was not a big fan of the jambalaya I had. It was a little too tomato soupy for me. I will definitely come back to try more things on this menu, there are SO many options. The large portions and fresh ingredients are definitely a draw.

Aubrey F.

Yelp
Went here for drinks on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of seating and space. You are able to seat yourself. We weren't given menus to order and we didn't have a server so we had to go up to the bar to order drinks. I ordered a Moscow mule, which was pretty good. It came in a copper mug too.

Tony J.

Yelp
As someone familiar with Mother's, I knew what to expect and what I wanted. I had frequented the Arnold, Md location, but after moving to Charm City, I am glad that there is one that is nearby. I go with a Wharf Rat or bone-in wings, precisely the Honey Old Bay variety, but this was a special occasion, so my wife and I decided to get both as we enjoyed both along with some crab dip and buffalo shrimp. The online order system is easy to use and informed us of our pick-up time and even texted me before the expected ready time of the food. For COVID, there was a good deal of activity as people socially distanced, and there was nobody inside the dining area. The staff were incredibly lovely, and albeit a little busy, they were on top of their game. My take, Mother's, is always a good option for good wholesome Md-style pub food. Once things start to resemble normalcy, look for this place to pick up where they left off.

Tyron H.

Yelp
I relocated to Baltimore yesterday and received a recommendation from my apartment's leasing consultant to give this bar a try. Let me start off by saying, the bartenders provided me with excellent service. They were down to earth, quick, and efficient. They exuded extreme passion for their craft. The food, on the other hand, was sub par. It was also delivered luke warm. My spoon was extremely dirty. If it weren't for the amazing service I received from the bar staff, I would've rated Mother's a 2, easily. I hope this was just a bad day for the kitchen staff. I try to be fair and believe in second chances. I will be back to follow up on my review.

Kory D.

Yelp
I was in town on business and haven't been here for a few years but we came back because we remember it being good. We had a party of 5 and everyone had a great experience. The service was great: quick, attentive, and really kind. The food was great from the appetizers (chicken wings, shark bites, calamari, and steak tips) to the entrees. I recommend the calamari or steak tips. My burger was cooked just right and didn't lack in flavor one bit. The fries are homemade and seasoned just right. All in all a great experience.

F P.

Yelp
Sad looking dinner delivered!! I ordered for a special occasion and plate appearance is embarrassing for $25 filet dinner

Aly W.

Yelp
Still having fun on the Purple Patio! Thanks for such a fun (and crowded) spot to hang out before, during, and after games!

Kingston B.

Yelp
Our first visit to Mother's. We are in the middle of the Covid crisis and today was Maryland Food Bank Takeout for Good day. Mother's donated 15% of our bill to the Maryland Food Bank which is a great organization. I almost feel guilty that Mother's donated a portion of the tab as I am sure that the restaurant needs the support just as much. We ordered wings with buffalo garlic sauce, cole slaw, veggie of the day and cream of crab soup. All was delicious. The cole slaw was a vinegar base and was very good. The veggies were nicely sautéed. The wing sauce was yummy and the wings were good. We maybe would have liked them a bit more crispy but not everybody does. All in all -- we were more than satisfied and look forward to going back to this awesome Fed Hill spot. Well worth our time and great support for Maryland Food Bank.

Danielle M.

Yelp
So I came here once before an really didn't remember what I ordered. We were super hungry and we're headed to the spa after eating so figured we would stop in for lunch. I redeemed my yelp check In offer for the calamari. The coating was good but the calamari was very chewy and I don't prefer it that way. I ordered the salad with apples, feta, and braiding (the name escapes me).. it was just ok. When I order salads like this at restaurants, it typically comes with the dressing on the side so I didn't think to ask for it that way. I didn't love the vinegrette. I also ordered the hot buffalo wings and fries. I have to say that had it bit been for the adult Arnold palmers that we had, I would have been a bit upset. The wings were not very good. They were kinda chewy and not fried hard at all. The fries were a bit soggy and soft.. This was not my experience when I visited previously. I don't know if it was just the time of day? My mom ordered fish and chips and it was very underwhelming. All in all I thought just kinda bad bar food. In saying that, I would probably come back for drinks and maybe the crab pretzel.. can't mess that up??? If it was not for the drink, I would have given it 2 stars. Also.. if you don't like flies, don't come in the summer time or be prepared to swat. They keep the side wall open and it was a fly fest... Our waitress was pleasant.

Yelp
Came by for happy hour and trivia on a random Thursday and had an overall good and enjoyable experience! MASSIVE menu which made it a bit hard to decide on what to get for dinner. Ended up getting the crab soup (not the Maryland style). Was excellent with a good service of crab in the soup. Everything was presented very well for being a place that I assumed was just a glorified bar. We also got the Nachos which were excellent. We really liked the fact that the cheese was nice and toasty on top because the whole thing was put in the oven. The chips themsevles were unfortunately super salty but otherwise it was a great dish. Nice beer selection and drink specials both during and after happy hour. Also had the boneless chicken wings. Cooked well and had a nice helping of blue cheese on the side. Nice selection of sauces. Mine was good, a mix of buffalo and garlic. Extra for carrots and celery seemed unnecessary though... Charm City Trivia was fantastic. They have a dedicated room for it in the back which was a great idea so you're not struggling to hear the game over the din of a bar. A hilarious host, very tough questions, and they still have drink specials during trivia. One of the more enjoyable trivia experiences I've had. Huge variety of food, everything we got was pretty good, a nice variety of drink specials, and excellent quizzo. Seems worth the trip!

Yelp
This review is just for the bar and the atmosphere, but not for the food because I just drank there. I stopped by recently on my way to the baseball game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Mother's is absolutely the place to kill some time before or after the game. Mother's has become a sort of an institution in Federal Hill, with many other newer bars popping up around it. It's been there a while and for good reason. They have long hours, so you can go for brunch on the weekends or during the week fairly early. There is always a festive crowd. The crowd is more preppy and sports loving. That is definitely the point. I'm the type of guy who likes the types of bars that are more offbeat and have more local beers on tap, but that is not the point of this place. They still have a couple local Maryland beers despite being more for the Bud light drinking crowd.

Yelp
This is a cool restaurant and bar. My girlfriends and I came here for dinner. Their menu offered hearty food with a nice variety. Expect to pay at least $20 for food. I ordered the Turkey Kale Salad with balsamic vinaigrette (see pic). It was about $17 and very very good. The turkey is more like quality deli turkey than the texture of Thanksgiving turkey. Pretty good stuff. A+ I also had the Blueberry Mule. If you are a mule person you will love it. The semi sweetness of the blueberry with the spice of the ginger was perfect. I highly recommend. A+ Our waiter (Val)....she was okay. I felt that sometimes she got too comfortable. We asked her if she could split our checks, she said if she had time....I asked her what does that mean. She said that if they get busy then she will not take the time to split the checks. I thought this was weird and inappropriate. Typically splitting checks has a simple answer, yes or no. To know that if our checks aren't split, it's because she chose not to was interesting. A positive about her is that she read our orders back after we placed them. I appreciated her not trying to memorize our orders to later get our food screwed up. Loved that courtesy. She was also very attentive to the table where we never had to look for her. I gave her a well deserved tip. Side Note: Even though it got pretty busy in there she still split our checks. It doesn't look like it, but this place is huge. It's has a restaurant area, bar area, then around the corner is a dance floor with more bars and arcades. I definitely plan to come back to experience the bar side of Mother's Overall, .

Yelp
I Went there on Friday. Outside eating was nice. I had a steak and cheese sub which was also very good. The take away was the alcoholic drinks. I paid $10 for a drink that had no alcohol content at all, although it was supposed to. I will go back but will not buy any alcoholic beverages.

Yelp
I'm a tough critic, but Mothers met all my standards for a great brunch. The atmosphere was upbeat, the patio seating gave open air on a pleasant day, and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The steak with the steak and eggs dish was outstanding: thick, cooked the way medium rare is supposed to be cooked, juicy, and flash seared with spice coating the create a phenomenal crust and flavor. All this at a moderate price. We're going back again for dinner--I recommend you try it too.

Yelp
Ordered food for delivery. The crab cake was so tasty and the burger was delicious. The delivery guy was super friendly and the food arrived before the original estimated time.

Yelp
Food was tasteless, service was just okay. Asked to speak with a manager, waited 15 minutes and nothing. Wings were tasteless and the blue cheese was like soup. The sprouts were soup, they looked appetizing but weren't grilled or blackened... Might give them another try next year...
