I love that the bar is separate from the music venue. It was like two different worlds and I enjoyed meandering between the two. We had a ton of fun supporting local bands and hanging out with friends. Definitely take part in Karaokee night.

Three of my friends and I decided to go out for a beer and some food after a long hard week at work. After a good time and meal at Hopsmith, we decided to head over to Mother's Too because we were winding down and ready to head home soon (10:40PM). My one friend decided to go to the bathroom (this guy drank 3 beers at Hopsmith). Then the rest of us, bought a beer each, and started playing some beer pong. The bouncer heads over and tells us our friend fell asleep on the toilet. After checking on my friend, who was still using the bathroom, completely sober, and was confused about the accusation, I spoke to the bouncer who said "I'll make you a deal, you guys don't have to leave if you buy 4 beers each" which was 16 total. He basically tried to barter with me, trying to get us to buy beer in order to stay. I thought this was interesting considering the bar was, for one empty on a Friday night, and two my friend had clearly not fallen asleep in their bathroom. Long story short: the business is clearly struggling and on slow nights they tried to strong arm us into buying an absurd amount of beer instead of being decent employees. Pretty disheartening to see. Go to Hopsmith the servers/managers do shots with you.

Really? 10 dollar covers for st Patty's day? It would be different if people want to stay in 1 place all night. I was told the same person owns the bars on this block. How about a cover that covers all his bars.

Several long-term employees were let go without being told. They were simply removed from the schedule. When asked about it, management told them only "You're not being fired." They're just not being scheduled anymore. No reason was given. This is unethical and I can't in good faith continue to give my money to this, or any other, Lodge Management Group establishment.

Super nice and fun bartenders. Fairly cheap beer and live music! Which is awesome! They also have beerpong and a large Jenga game (which is loud when it falls but really fun anyways!) #LocalLaughs

Well its mother's lol if your from Chicago you've been here a million times and it wears out it's charm fast. If your from out of town then it's not so bad. Definitely a college atmosphere and the bouncers hook up there buddies and let them right in. Not bad if your just trying to get drunk.

Great place for groups. Free pool, beer pong, and Jinga. Mixed drinks were only ok and a small selection of tap beers.

Pretty nice pseudo-country bar. No cover, and decently priced drinks. Sometimes live music, lots of beer pong tables.
