Google
Great spot to have a tasty dinner, good wine and good conversation. We went while they had a Vinyl DJ playing, but it wasn’t too loud and you could still conversation with the music. Great vibes and very inviting atmosphere.

Google
Classy place. A nice quick place to stop for lunch. Tried two different sandwiches and they were phenomenal. There horseradish sauce they have is the BOMB.COM!!

Google
Decent sandwich but probably not a place I'd try something again. The overall look of the place is really nice though with a nice wine/liquor bar as well. I mainly came to try a new to me sandwich spot. Good variety but gave a 3 stars because of the price and quality of the bread which is kind of dull unfortunately but not a deal killer. Give em a try and see if you find something you like.

Google
How did I not know about this place? It has a cool euro-vibe to it and friendly people working there. I had the charcuterie platter, which was delicious. I’m looking forward to doing a deeper dive into the menu. Counter/bar seating and tables/chairs.

Google
Great sandwiches. The salads are heavy with dressing. Definitely ask for it on the side if you don’t like soggy greens. Service was not great. Server forgot my drink, dropped a plate on my grandma, and did not greet my family with a good attitude. Might have been having a bad day and definitely made it known.

Google
MOTO is cozy and fun...definitely more of a locals-only vibe, and always fresh and delicious. We love going here for brunch, lunch or dinner and have brought out-of-town family several times to impress! My fave is the Point Break as a salad, and my husband almost always goes for the Salsiccia pizza at dinner. Can't be beat.

Google
Moto is an absolute vibe! The staff is friendly and patient! They are also kind, my partner uses ASL to communicate, and the cashier asked how to say "you're welcome" and then later, in sign language, asked if my partner enjoyed our meal. I can't even begin to tell you how much that made his day! I could go on but suffice to say that really touched our hearts. Moto has such a unique atmosphere that is inviting and comfortable. You see patrons of all ages. Everything we have tried thus far has been delicious! The prices are also reasonable. They have fun drink options like lemonade, specialty soda, beer, and non-alcoholic beer! It's a cool place. I definitely recommend trying them out!

Google
We ordered the Goodfellas (Italian) and tuna sandwich, definitely preferred the tuna sandwich, very delicious! It’s a bit pricey than average but it’s worth it to treat yourself to a great sandwich. Going back to try the salads too!

Yelp
Really enjoyed my first experience here and I understand the hype. I loved my sandwich as well as the Hugo spritz I ordered. 10/10 recommend. I've heard fond things about their flatbread pizzas too but they're only served for dinner. The girl helping us at the bar was so helpful, we ended I taking a bottle of wine to go and she gave a really good suggestion. I felt a little confused on the order process, we had someone come up to us but also had to go up to the counter to order so we were a little thrown off by that but once we ordered all was well. Plenty of seating inside and even a few tables outside in the front. Already looking forward to my next visit when I'm on that side of town.

Yelp
I came to Moto for lunch with a few coworkers, and it's definitely a cute little local spot. When you arrive, you order at the register before finding a seat. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, marinated olives, and the pasta salad. Out of everything, the marinated olives were my favorite, they were super flavorful and delicious. The grilled cheese was just okay for me, and probably not something I'd order again, but I'm still glad I gave it a try. The pasta salad was a bit on the dry side, but not bad overall. The service was really friendly, which I appreciated, and the vibe was laid-back and welcoming. I've heard great things about their dinner menu, especially the flatbread pizzas, so I'll definitely be back to check that out. Looking forward to giving it another try during dinner hours!

Yelp
First time dining in and it was SO GOOD! Visited with a girlfriend on international women's day and they were BUSY. There was an even happening in the back patio and a long table celebratory dinner in the main room and the energy was a vibe. Even with all of the happenings they made room for us at the window bar and the view was too good. Our waitress was a little delayed on providing menus but other than that service was very good. We ordered + split: Aperol spritz Hugo spritz Marinated olives Farro salad Tuna sandwich Not a fan of tuna at all but but girlfriend insisted I tried because she's obsessed with it. It was in fact tasty, but I wouldn't order for myself. Salad was super fresh and light, loved the lemon vinaigrette. Left a 4 star only because I also ordered another sandwich to go and I told them don't prepare until we finished. They ended up preparing it too early and it was soggy by the time I brought it home . But will definitely come again and sit on the patio or bar. Bathroom was super clean + cute - only one stall so line can occur if super busy.

Yelp
I've been here 2 more times since the first review and was left slightly disappointed both times. Service was just okay both times. They weren't necessarily rude but not very friendly either. I tried the Margherita pizza and it wasn't the best Margherita pizza I've had. I wish it would have had actual basil leaves on it. The basil oil they put on it made it feel really soggy and lacked flavor.

Yelp
Cozy neighborhood restaurant. I've brought everyone I know here. The food is so good and I love the Tower vibes

Yelp
Moto has all the makings of a 5 star eatery...friendly staff, creative menu and great neighborhood location but in the end fell short. We arrived shortly after 5pm on a a Friday and ordered the Margherita and Prosciutto pinsarella, along with the Point Break and the Too Mush to Handle sandwich. As pizza lovers we were excited to try the pinsarella for the first time. Unfortunately, it lacked the "wow" factor we expect from artisanal pizza. Pizza was descent but far from great. The Too Mush to Handle seemed promising when I read the ingredient list but unfortunately was served room temperature which dulled the flavors and cheese was cold. Not sure if it was meant to be served hot..we did wait over 40 minutes for our food to be served. Staff was VERY friendly and apologetic for the wait. The Point Break was basic, again nothing to make us return. Sound level was also very uncomfortable and it was difficult to have a conversation without straining to hear. Definitely not the place to have an intimate gathering. Decor is trendy in a lovely way, with plenty of seating inside and one table outside. We would have opted to sit outside to escape the noise but the table was right in front of the indoor barstool area and we would have had two people starting down at us the whole time. Overall descent effort on Moto's part, just not enough to make us return. If you are considering, perhaps try earlier in the day when less crowded.

Yelp
Nice ambiance & good service! Check it out. Admittedly, I'm VERY VERY VERY picky about Italian deli having been raised in NY. So, take this w/a grain of salt since my standards are sky high. ORDER: Goodfellas Sandwich: Wish it were on real Italian bread, a nice crisp exterior w/a soft airy inside. This soft seeded roll was good for what it is. Arugula was perfect for this. Plenty of meat; generous yet just the right amount. Would like a tangy oil & vinegar dressing or Italian salad dressing to set it off. Build Your Own: Prosciutto, salami, mortadella, capicola (aka "gabagool"), provolone on focaccia. Focaccia was too hard & thin; prefer a bit fluffier. Meat was tasty & plentiful again. Vegan herb garlic mayo was tasty. ACCESSIBILITY: Good.

Yelp
Love this bodega-style restaurant - the food is always delicious and consistent. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but don't miss the Goodfellas and any of their pizzas!
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered it to go but Perfect place for a nice lunch or dinner if dining in. Once inside you're inside the whole ambiance is what you wouldn't expect. It's like a deli, bar and somewhat a fine dining dim light type of vibe. I absolutely love it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the goodfellas which consisted of cold cuts and fresh veggies and I had to add extra red onions in there. Also ordered the point break which is a tuna sandwich, so good! Their sandwiches are a bit on the pricey side but I think they're worth It for the amount and size you get. Potato salad was delicious and the pasta salad had sun dried tomatoes and pesto. The pasta salad was a bit bland and isn't drenched with dressing or anything. I don't think I would order that again. Do order the potato salad though! 10/10 for their sandwiches, I will definitely go back to try their salads and pizzas!

Yelp
Moto Delicatessen and Bodega is a cozy must-visit spot with a homelike feel. The space is small so reservations are a must but the area is nice and welcoming. They have a spectacular selection of wines and serve up food quickly and hot. The sandwiches and pizza are delicious and the service is very friendly and helpful. Their soda fridge is stocked with a variety of drinks including excellent Italian sodas. The deli counter has a great selection of high-quality Italian meats and they also carry ingredients for those who want to cook at home. If you're in the area this is a fantastic place to grab a bite and a drink
google avatar

Yelp
Trendy environment with friendly staff and good food. Visited Moto for a weekday lunch and ordered the Point Break and requested it toasted. The focaccia still retained its flavor while the tuna tasted like it was made freshly. The guy at the counter was a little lacking in energy but he was attentive and responded quickly to our requests. Most of all I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere as indicated by signage and community flyers here. Might need to relocate to this neighborhood!

Yelp
Moto has been on our list to spots to try for awhile now. Apparently they are doing brunch as well, but that wasn't available on the Saturday around noon that we went in. First impression, cute set up! A bar to your left, seating to the right and you order up front. They have an assortment of sandwiches, salads and bowls. I opted to try their point Breakfast (albacore tuna with herbs & dijon, mayo, marinated cucumbers & red onion, avo, shredded lettuce, pepperoncini on toasted ciabatta). So fresh and delicious! Their portions are quite large as well. We are definitely going to have to come back to try their brunch menu as well. Their service was also great and efficient!

Yelp
Omg- this place is amazing, if you are eating inside, it's a whole vibe. I love the atmosphere and if you are taking it to go, it's still great. The food is amazing. I've also ordered through Door Dash and everything I try is so good. I've had the Point Break which is a tuna sandwich, the broccoli salad, egg salad, pasta salad and the potato salad.

Yelp
Went with my partner and I for an early dinner date! Loved the atmosphere and comfortable set up/decor. Order the veggie pizza and chopped salad to share; we're both fantastic! Good variety of craft beer in cans and other drinks as well. Service was quick, friendly and hospitable!! We're coming back again soon. Thanks, MOTO!!
google avatar

Yelp
A crown jewel in the redeveloped Tower Theatre District- a cool part of the mix with quality, casual dining. Delicious and fresh chopped salad and flavorful panini. Delicious desserts and well-rounded beverage menu. Comfortable seating for small parties, and fairly quick takeout service. Decor is inspirational and artsy. Excellent pregame to ice cream at Ampersand afterwards:)
google avatar

Kris L.

Yelp
Large salads to share, delicious sandwiches and surprise specials make this the number one hot spot for the neighborhood. Great wine at the bar and excellent servers round out a wonderful experience for lunch or dinner at Moto. The pop-up cafe on Sundays--The Mirror--is also a nice treat and a better pulled espresso than the big box shops. Be sure to make time to hang out when you're in the Fresno High Neighborhood.

Yelp
Went for a post meeting lunch and drink. Unfortunately since they're near the high school they can't sell for in-store consumption before 5pm. However, the cold cuts sandwich and potato salad were delicious and filling enough that I probably couldn't fit a beer even if I wanted to. This spot is super cute, clean, and has very friendly staff. They also have a mini coffee shop inside, a free library (remember to bring a book to donate if you can!), select quality grocery items, and plenty of beer and wine for purchase. Their chairs are comfortable for longer stays and the bar has such a cozy and friendly vibe! I was only in town for a couple of days but if I'm back, this will become a must-have stop. There's also a record store and thrift shop nearby so you can walk off the filling subs!

Yelp
This is a jewel in the Fresno high/tower district area! I've tried pretty much all of the sandwiches and salads, all really delicious. Tip: I usually ask them to go light on the mayo... They are open for dinner, too, and their flatbread pizzas are amazing! Our favorites are the pepperoni with ricotta cheese and a drizzle of hot honey, and the sausage mushroom. Really good beer selection as well. It gets pretty crowded and noisy during the dinner rush, so be prepared for that. Great owner, super nice and helpful staff as well. And if you want dessert, Ampersand is about a 10 second walk. Yay for great locally owned neighborhood businesses!
google avatar

Shakila H.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in town to have lunch. I've been numerous times and always order my same sandwich. The Garden of Eaten minus the Mayo. It's always consistent and delicious. I love that the ingredients always taste fresh. Parking can be tricky since it's located near Fresno High. But if you go at off times, you should be fine.
google avatar

Yelp
Great sandwiches! Lots of meat and fresh rolls. Excellent staff! Friendly and curteous. Menu has many choices not to mention the pub side of the eatery (backside of menu). Was rated "A come back place" by all three of us (and one is very hard to get that rating from!).
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, the Apollo sandwich was very good, And the seating and area is nice. They even have a bar which I didn't expect.
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
The sandwich was good. Nothing spectacular. Price was a little high. I definitely want to go back and try the pizza. They only serve pizza after 5 pm so I couldn't get it today at lunch. Dining area was super cute. Great vibe. The staff was all very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
The first thing you'll notice when you walk in to MOTO is the amazing smells...like an old Italian deli full of cured meats, cheeses, etc. The menu consists mainly of salads, pinsarellas (Roman flatbread) and sandwiches. The farro salad is a standout with fresh crisp veggies, farro and burrata tossed with a light lemon vinaigrette. Delicious...and perfect in this summer heat! The salad alone is enough to warrant a return. The flatbreads we tried were also yummy. They also serve up an amazing looking charcuterie. Top it all off with a spritz or a glass of wine, or a local beer. Service was outstanding! Welcoming and friendly but very professional. I loved the feel of this place....a true neighborhood gem with people in families, couples out for date night, small groups of friends, and lots of regulars coming in and out for their to gos. Love this place!

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE. They have some many great sandwiches, as well as the ability to build your own. I've tried quite a few different wines here and they've all been delicious. The staff is super friendly and is always helpful in giving suggestions on what to get if you're stuck. The vibes make me feel like it's my regular bodega/shop and that I'm always welcome.

Jacob A.

Yelp
Loved the goodfellas sandwich. this place is dope, new york bodega vibes, good tunes great staff!

D B.

Yelp
The Goodfella sandwich was mostly Mortadella. Joe from the tower district would call it full of bologna. Took awhile to get service as I was seated at the window for a quick bite. $16 bucks for bologna not my cup of tea. La villa in San Jose's Willow glen has an Italian combo (same sandwich)for $14.05 and a lot less Italian bologna( mortadella ). Please compare and do the math. The place looked great though.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
Please give this place a try. 10/10 I highly recommend. This place is so cute, clean and yummy! Located right across the street from fresno high and you can even get ice cream after a few doors down. We shared a salad the staff gladly split our salad for us we also got a sandwich each and it was so much food! I'll for sure be back!

Yelp
Went in around 8 Saturday night. There was a table of 5 people making soooo much noise. Laughing as loudly and for as long as only drunk people can. Management was visible but seemed unconcerned. On the way I "thanked" the group for ruining our dinner. They seemed oblivious to how disruptive they were being. Not likely to return if management is more interested in running a noisy nightclub than a restaurant.
google avatar

Valerie S.

Yelp
The sandwiches here are so delicious!!! obviously a bit expensive for a sandwich but it is so worth it!! The service here is very helpful and everything taste so fresh.

Yelp
Yesterday was my first time eating at MOTO even though I live in the area and frequent Ampersand. What motivated me? Pizza. My fiance's coworker said they have pizza and that it's better than South of Shaw. I was doubtful, because all I ever saw were sandwiches & salads on their menu. We went in, asked for pizzas, and pizzas we got! The space is large, with plenty of tables, a bar, and a deli display. The music was kind of loud, so we opted to eat outside. Service was great! We didn't know what mortadela was, and so the staff brought us some slices of mortadela and pistachio pesto to try it out. We ended up with traditional pizzas-- pepperoni and margherita. The pizzas are more like a flatbread. The margherita had great cheese pull and really fragrant basil. The bread was more flat, but dense, like it hadn't risen enough. The pepperoni was stellar! Not your regular ol' pep pizza. They loaded on the pepperoni cups, and my fiance loved the texture of chewing through multiple layers of pepperoni. The ricotta in each slice added a nice airy creaminess. And the hot honey drizzle is a great touch! Subtle but enough to make the pizza feel special. The crust on this pizza was fluffier and just perfection! Great food & good service. It's a borderline pricey, but worth it for the occasional nice night out.

Yelp
I've been back a few times since they messed up my bread order lol. Everything is yummy now that I get my sandwich on a hoagie roll. They even have some nights where they sell pizza and coffee. They also sell wine now. I have yet to try any. I like that everyone here is very friendly. They allowed us to bring our coffee from kuppa joy inside. They have a meat board where you can pick 2 meats and your cheese of choice. It comes with bread on the side. I usually order a side of olives with it too. It's a great choice to share with friends. The decor in here is really beautiful. It's so different from most sandwich shops in Fresno. It has grown to be one of my favorites.
google avatar

Yelp
I grew up in Tower and my mother still lives and thrives there. With that, supporting the community and local owned businesses is a staple in our family. This restaurant was recommended by numerous friends. When I finally visited, I was beyond impressed with the freshness and artistic quality of menu items and ambience. The service and concept are refreshing! I had to share my joy and purchase a gift card for every teacher my high schooler has this year! Keep knocking it out of the park, Moto! Community all stars here!
google avatar

Antonio S.

Yelp
The food is delicious and they can panini press any sandwich they have on the menu for you for lunch or dinner. I had the Clubber Lang sandwich which is a turkey and avocado sandwich with bacon and they panini pressed it for me and it was amazing! The service is excellent and the ambiance is great. They also serve wine and beer as well as charcuterie, but only for dinner so I will definitely come back for dinner!

Yelp
I went here yesterday to have dinner with friends and it was ...fine. It was very warm in the dining room, very noisy (hard to hear without raising your voice) and very crowded for a Thursday night. Many people wouldn't be bothered by this environment, but I didn't find the ambiance comfortable at all. The heat, the noise, the hard benches. If I wasn't with good friends (and I was really enjoying my time with them) I would have gotten out of there pretty quick. The service was very good. We had a very friendly, warm, and attentive server and she made sure we had what we needed. I really liked her. The food tasted good although two friends had very generous toppings on their flatbreads and mine was ridiculous. Almost no cheese. And if the food wasn't so outrageously overpriced I'd probably give this place 4 stars instead of 3, because even with skimpy cheese it tasted basically ok. So -- They lose a star for discomfort and a star for being really overpriced for a basic neighborhood place. A small flatbread with almost no topping on it, one drink (cider) and a very small cup of broccoli side salad was just under $40. It was essentially a piece of bread, a few bites of broccoli and a drink. The big-picture experience just wasn't worth it for me, even though the food (what there was of it, for $40) tasted good and the service was nice. So I wouldn't go out of my way to come back unless I was meeting friends who really want to go!
google avatar

Molly L.

Yelp
We came here on a week night and many of the tables were taken. We sat down and our order was taken and served to us in very little time. The ambiance is nice where there are many small tables throughout the restaurant and it's a good place where the music isn't too loud so you can talk at a nice noise level. The food was pretty good but I do think it was more on the bland side. The bread could have had more flavor and the sauce in the turkey club wasn't the best and there wasn't much creaminess to it - could have used some mayo. But I do appreciate that the food is fresh here.
google avatar

Ann D.

Yelp
I would recommend the wedge salad and the lasagna. We went to have some wine since Mastro Scheidt was pouring wine. His Rose is very good. The service was good for being very packed. I would not recommend the ravioli which hardly had any cheese or artichoke inside the ravioli. Everything else was great.
google avatar

Jaspreet S.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, this place has the best Caesar salad I've ever had in my life. The flavors are unreal and yummy croutons. Pizza is great as a pairing to salad. The aperol spritz are also PERFECT.
google avatar

Jasmine R.

Yelp
One of my fav sandwich spots! The tuna sandwich is SO GOOD. Goodfellas was also fresh and good
google avatar

Belen M.

Yelp
What a great little delicatessen! Pretty casual, familial vibes to it. They have a deli counter, wine bar, and grocery area. We tried out their deli today. I had the point break sandwich, which tasted like the freshest, best tuna sandwich I've ever had. Prices reflect that, so you are paying more but getting the best. I really enjoyed it. It came with banana peppers, pickle and pickled onions, with a pickle spear on the slide. The bread looked like some kind of multigrain bread. I was honestly expecting the bread to be nice and soft, but I think they toasted it. Which threw me at first, (I thought someone left the bag open too long if you know what I mean) but the crunchy bread actually complimented the sandwich well. Hats off to these guys as they know what they are doing. Service was kind all around. It's a deli counter so you go up and order and they will bring out your sandwiches. Then they came promptly to clear our plates when we were done. Also; all gendered bathroom for the win. It's also really clean and nicely decorated inside! Can't wait to go back and try out some more. You should go try too!

Yelp
Easily my favorite sandwich place in the Central Valley. Moto has new and fun takes as well as amazing simple sandwiches, salads and flatbreads. Ambiance, service, and quality have been stellar every time I've been in. Seriously, I love this place.

Alicia L.

Yelp
Food is always fresh, made to order and consistent! The service is excellent always greeted with a smile and served to your table! So thoughtful. Ambience is hip, clean and welcoming! Any time we have friends or family from out of town we like to take them here and they are always so impressed.

Yelp
Tried The Apollo and it was massive! Very tasty sandwich. Helpful staff and a nice environment. Bonus points for being on the same block as Tower District Records.
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
The deli inside is very trendy and the staff are all welcoming. Walking in there's a bar to your left and the deli is ahead. What's cool is that they have local produce and organic options. I had the Clubber Lang and the shining star of the sandwich was the avocado. It was perfectly ripe and dense. It wasn't mushy and had the right amount of bite to it. The sandwich itself had nice portions. The turkey was too salty for my liking. The sandwich comes standard on a hoagie roll but I would have opted for something less dry. I think the only other option is a country loaf (?). If I'm in the area, I'll definitely try another sandwich option. They do have daily specials which is a nice switch up. Conveniently located next to Kuppa Joy, Ampersand and Quesadilla Gorilla.

Kong M.

Yelp
The restaurant is cute and cozy. I like having lunch with friends there. Service is good. The wait for food can be a wait depending on how many people they have in the restaurant. But the freshness of the ingredients is worth it.

Susan Y.

Yelp
I found my new favorite restaurant and it's just down the street from us. Absolutely delicious and great atmosphere. Good service too!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered via DoorDash. I had the Garden of Eatin' and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Even with delivery it was still fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. I will be ordering from them again soon! Can't wait to try their other sandwiches!
google avatar

Anna Z.

Yelp
The food was okay. I ordered the Caesar Salad. It was drenched in dressing. I should have asked it in the side. The service was good. I was treated well even though I had a hard time making up my mind what to order.

Yelp
So happy to have discovered this place while on a road trip. I am not in Fresno very often, but this will definitely be on my must-visit list every time I am in town. The staff went way above and beyond to assist me, and the sandwich was a delightful mix of flavors and textures. I had the Goodfellas and every component just worked together perfectly.

Kelsey G.

Yelp
On Sundays Moto transitions to Mirror coffee. Meaning you can only order coffee and pastries. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I ordered the cappuccino and added almond milk, which to be honest was pretty good and did the job to wake me up. I was a tad bummed not having nonfat milk option but I survived. I also ordered the strawberry lemon curd danish. It looked like it was sitting there for a little while but it was a 7/10, a little on the crunchier side but the strawberries were fresh and the lemon curd filling was a perfect amount of sweet!
