Terrible Food! Highway Robbery, and Disgusting Food! Me and two of my colleagues ordered lunches from here to be charged over $30 each for a Lunch!!!!! As I’m in line 3 other people were complaining about how high $$$ and bad the food was so I definitely will not be back and will not recommend this soul food place to anyone I know because they do not run it properly, and it is very sad. Cashier does not even care even when brought to their attention. I will file a dispute with American Express.

Servers were not friendly. Cashier she was awesome. Food was not as great as I had before at this place. Their chicken was great. The greens was so hot with spice that I could not eat. Dressing did not have my gravy on it. Granted it was busy but this restaurant needs younger people who can interact with customers better and ack food correctly. It was good all over my containers but overall it was an 8 out of 10 for me because of service.

The food was delicious! The servers were friendly! Met the owner so down to earth. Will go again Fried Pork Chops and dressing very good. My guilty pleasure can't do too often......but when I do yummy!

Have to watch them there very sneaky and they will rush you and you won’t even know you paid for something that you didn’t have. The food sides are hit or miss sometimes good sometimes bad. Today I had the cabbage and it was old smelled spoiled. Be very careful

Great place for soul food. Great verity of dishes, including side dishes.

Great food… servers with horrible attitudes! I usually order 4 dinners because my family is big but they frown up when you have multiple orders so now I only buy 1 dinner every now and then. The food is too expensive for the small portions though

Stopped in on Thursday got smothered chicken mac and cheese and green beans ate half of it and saved the rest for breakfast this morning. Finishing up the string beans see a piece of wood that is a piece of black mulch.went back up there to show them what was in my food and the manager said " well they do grow in the dirt I can see that happening " what the hell ? I told her I didn't want anything I just wanted them to know this Heffa was looking at me like I was crazy.wont go back ever

Me and my wife live fairly close to the Oak park/southfield location. The food is usually on point but the service at this place is terrible. We have always tried to support our black business because we’re black business owners as well. These individuals don’t say hello 👋 they ask what you want with an attitude then the older woman there seems to be pissed about something every time we go there. We have came home a few times missing items we paid for. When we went to pick up the item we never received. The people never apologized for their screw up and never Will compliment you with something for your inconvenience. I say this you learn and you move on. I hope they can get their uninviting mad at the world attitudes together. God Bless…..
