Motor Moka Coffee

This is a fun little coffee shop and bakery. They have so many flavors and lots of sugar free options. They also have dairy alternatives. It has a cool airplane hanger vibe, not warm and cozy but it's fun. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They have breakfast food as well as baked goods and shakes offered as well. I love that they have a vegan option.

Today is my birthday July 3rd. My husband and I ordered matcha latte and Unsweetened latte 16oz each. Smells good and tastes. Crew is kind and nice. We used the only drive thru maybe next time I will go inside store.

New coffee shop in town! Great location with a drive through window. The interior is kind of barebones and sterile feeling, not a lot of color or decorations, and only a few tables to sit at. The staff are friendly, and the coffee is decent, nothing too special. It’s nice and relaxing, quiet, good spot to hang out and sip on some coffee for a bit. They have breakfast sandwiches which looked really good, as well as a ton of pastries and discounted day old pastries too. This place has a lot of potential, and I’m sure it will only get better with time! Definitely give it a try and see for yourself!

Great coffee and even better staff! They were very helpful with suggestions and descriptions of the coffees. Looks like a great pastry and breakfast selection as well!

I've never been here before and ordered 2 12-oz shakes on my only visit: mint oreo and some hyper coffee concoction. Had the mint oreo first, and it's the first milkshake I've ever had in my life with ICE in it (?!?). Good flavor, courteous quick service, but next time I'll go where the shakes aren't watered down, for my money.

Unfortunately disappointed. I live close by and was excited to see Coffee People recipes again! I have been 6 or 7 times and the same coffee drink (Black Tiger) is different every time. Sometimes watery and today had no ground espresso in it at all, just tasted like ice with a slight coffee flavor. Just not good or consistent. There isn't a website to send feedback to, either. I want this place to make it, but they may need to rethink how to make drinks consistently.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, the coffee was great! not overly sweet like Dutch Bros but not bitter either. I got the Moka Borgia and now i get it every day! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, i had a nice conversation while waiting for my coffee and she was very sweet. i recommend trying it out if you need a change from starbucks or dutch. my only criticism is the inside of the place needs more color! maybe get some local artists to showcase their art or something, there’s so much empty wall space!

Stopped in on our first hot day of the year for one of their Black Tiger milkshakes. Went through the drive-thru and asked the employee if they also made the Kahlua Screamer shakes. She had never heard of them, so I tried to explain it's like the Black Tiger shake but with chocolate chips instead of coffee grounds. She was bewildered, then proceeded to tell me their milkshake machine was broken. Sheesh, I'm not sure why she didn't say anything the first time I mentioned 'shake'?! Back when Motor Moka was located on Grand Blvd (in Portland), the Kahlua Screamer shake was my absolute favorite! They make them at the location in Clackamas, OR, but they also make them with hard ice cream, not soft serve. Not a great first experience, but once they fix their ice-cream machine, I might be back to try one. It's definitely closer to home. We shall see...

Popped into the drive through for a quick pick-me-up. The menu is easy to read and understand, service was quick and friendly (I asked about a sugar free drink and the barista suggested a delish iced SF mocha with vanilla and Hazel nut). I was there for less than 4 mins total. I got my tasty drink and went about my day. I see enough on the menu that I want to return and try other drinks. The staff were really nice too, great vibes!

Wow this latte was a 10/10. I'll be back:) also love that They're open until 7pm because many coffee shops close at 4pm and in my opinion that's too early.

I dropped by here on a Saturday in the early afternoon to get a cup of coffee as I had never been here before. They don't have cold brew but I wanted to try their iced coffee as it tends to be a standard for me. Their prices were fair and the baristas were really nice. I like how the interior looks too. I will have to try their drip coffee sometime. Check it out!

Motor Moka is back! Very excited that Moto Moka is back in the greater Portland/Vancouver area and I hope more are on their way! Coffee drinks (and oh yes, Black Tiger Shakes) are on par for Jim and Patty's. Friendly staff are eager to get you your favorite drink and how you want it with no backtalk!

This is the Coffee People with a different name. Highly recommended. Stopped in yesterday with my wife & was not disappointed. They do Tiger Mochas and other greats that I have missed from years ago. There's also the Hippie cookie for us old hippie types but they go fast. Happy to see the young men in there doing a good job and efficient. We will be back

I love MotorMoka... my favorite drink is the Velvet Hammer, it is kind of a Mexican Mocha, with Cinnamon, Almond and Vanilla flavoring. To eat, I had the crumb topped coffee cake, it was delicious! Flashback to the early 90's... my best friend and I would meet up at the one on Grand Avenue in Portland before church. Many, many cups of coffee were shared there!

The service was great! The coffee was good, the sandwich was ok. The muffin was Lowkey dry though.

It's fun new place. Good flavored mochas and more. Sugar free and decaf options too. Will go back next week.

Friendly service and my vanilla steamer was good. I ordered a blueberry muffin and 2 brioche cinnamon rolls...the muffin was like a brick. I could barely take a bite and the cinnamon rolls were probably a couple of days old. There was a ton of frosting on it which just flaked off in chunks. Hard and stale for the baked goods. I won't be going back for anything from the bakery.

I heard a few good reviews about this new coffee shop so I went in to check it out. My first impression from the outside... cool looking build-out, nice signage and professional. The inside was pretty cool...nice decor... but this is where the vibe changes. This is where the difference between a professional business and smaller startup arise. The two young men working behind the counter were unprofessional... they were playing rap music, no dress code, one was eating his food right in site behind the counter and the other flirting with girl who walked in and knew him... the coffee itself was decent.. nothing over the top, but better than average. The experience was one of a newer company still trying to find itself with poor management. If a small company wants to compete with the big boys they best have rules, image and a cultural goal in place... these things reverberate throughout a business and make a difference. The environment and feel of the shop is as important as the product itself. Starbucks made a fortune off of the experience and feel... Lord knows it's not the quality of their coffee, but more consistency. I know no matter where I am when I go to a Starbucks it will be the same within reason.

Ordered the Friggin Fremont latte, it was made perfectly and my son loved his chocolate shake! Excellent customer service and my dog highly enjoyed his pup cup Will definitely be back again!!

Their coffee is so good! The homemade sauces used for their coffees is the perfect touch to make them better than most. The service is always friendly and helpful! I've driven through a few times now and they are always more than willing to answer questions and suggest drinks!

Worst drip coffee I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Go with their espresso drinks; they are way better.

this family owned business is so friendly and their memories are great on what you ordered last time. They have a very convenient drive-through and plenty of free parking. I go there several times a week.
