My 2nd visit to this establishment unfortunately undercut my 1st experience as the kitchen service was subpar, to say the least. I and my family arrived a little more than an hour before they were to close and were warmly greeted by a nice young lady who seated us. (We were the only patrons in the establishment for our entire dining experience.) Excited at the menu options, we put in our orders to include several items such as turkey scrapple, fried shrimp, and coffee (advertised by the establishment as “unlimited coffee”). Shortly thereafter, we’re notified individually that there’s no turkey scrapple, then minutes later, there’s no fried shrimp. When I inquired further, it was then communicated that there’s no more fried foods. Apparently, the kitchen refused to fry anymore food given that they were set to close in an hour. Just minutes later, the young lady offers us fresh refills of “unlimited coffee” only to return and let us know that there’s no more coffee. Needless to say, this was very disappointing and ruined our experience. To top it all off, we received the bill with the gratuity already included on top of a credit card processing fee. In a nutshell, my 2nd visit will be my last. Poor kitchen service and false advertisement should not characterize any establishment, particularly those quaint “mom and pop” community storefronts that are historically known for the exact opposite. Dine here at risk of subpar service and fees forcibly embedded in the bill.

Allie our waitress was very friendly and recommended the fish and grits. It did not disappoint, it was well seasoned and our orders came out correctly. Portion were huge and you may have some extra. The pancake Sampler was great and you won't need extra syrup. Great job!

I recently met a friend at this restaurant location for breakfast. This restaurant did not disappoint. The breakfast was fabulous. I had fried whiting with grits and butter and cornbread. It was so delicious. We also shared pancakes. Those were delicious as well. Even the coffee was tasty. Our server was so kind and professional. Her name escapes me but both servers were great. Shout out to the manager, Jose. He made sure that we were pleased with everything. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I'll definitely be back soon.

Went here for the first time and really enjoyed myself. We were greeted and served by Cynee. She was excellent and a beautiful personality. I ordered fish, home Fries, French toast and a Cranberry juice. My friend ordered jerk chicken, Waffles and a sweet tea (came with a sidenof hot honey cornbread). The food was delicious and couldn't stop raving about it. My French toast could have used a bit more Cinnamon but otherwise light and fluffy. The server made the experience light and fun. I would go back at the same timeframe as it was not crowded. It was Saturday around 2p.

Food was amazing! I ordered the jerk wings (they were really good they tasted like they were Jerk wings from a Jamaica restaurant), Pork bacon and cheese eggs. I got there and they gave me sides to my orders. I learned you can’t remove food off meals, with that being said they gave me fries with my wings and home fries with my eggs and bacon. Nevertheless. Food is recommended to try!

Google
The food was very good. It didn't take long to come out. The service can use a little work. I was standing at the door waiting to be seated for about 30 minutes while looking at empty tables, and the waiters didn't attempt to make any contact with me. There's a sign that says "wait to be seated" but that's not realistic.

Google
I didn’t have the same experience as a lot of others have had as far as the customer service. We were greeted when we came in. Our food came out pretty fast and it was good. I had the chicken & waffles, my friends had fish & grits and we all had food to take home. My friends sent the cornbread back to be warmed up but that was it. Jade was VERY nice, she interacted with us and my nephew who is 2. She helped put his shoes back on. She was very personable and made our experience enjoyable. They do charge .50 for larger take home boxes though

$18 for one pancake and you’re going to have to wait 40+ minutes for your order. Save your time & money and go to a better breakfast restaurant

Yelp
My daughter and I are breakfast people( it's generational ). I could be awakened at 5 am and I'd readily eat breakfast. I'd also eat at 1 am. Okay so I'd eat breakfast at anytime!! The service was prompt and our server was congenial. It was a brightly lit establishment, serving about 20 diners, in a comfortable space. Music playing w just the right volume. I ordered shrimp (sautéed) and grits. My daughter ordered pancakes and pork sausage The presentation of the shrimp was surpassed by the perfectly seasoned dish. I loved the entire experience.

Yelp
I ordered shrimp and grits and they didnt and grits to the to go order. And I ordered a iced latte and they gave me cold coffee. I do not recommend this eatery.

Yelp
Weird. Bad service. Snooty attitude on top of it. The food? I'd almost rather not say. Go somewhere else.

Yelp
I hate to give bad reviews however this place needs help. The ordering system is flawed and they need to balance online mobile orders and this from in restaurant customers. With so many mobile orders coming in the in restaurant patron has to wait about an hour for food. The ambiance is minimal with virtually no local connection to the historic area its located. The food was ok but I was hoping for much better after an hour wait. I wish them luck. BTW the manager they had on staff this Sunday should be fired for screaming at guests who were unhappy with their poorly mad food. Other guests had to break-up her yelling at customers.

Yelp
DONT eat here. The fact that there's good reviews at all is mind boggling. The vibe and lighting of the place is cheesy and sterile, the server was a nice girl but obv understaffed. The tables had no silver ware and we had to ask for silver ware. She never refilled our drinks. And of course with any place that has below par food , it was ALSO overpriced (that's a given) Now the food... it was pretty much garbage. I feel robbed that I payed $50 for a meal for me and my girlfriend . She got a mix of eggs potatoes and avocados in a skillet. She couldn't even eat it. Avocado was not fresh, eggs cooked terribly, flavor was off. Basically just not good food. There's really not a lot more to say. I got the eggs Benedict. It was $15 and didn't even come with potatoes. I've never ate somewhere where the eggs Benedict didn't come w a side. Just a small little plate w the eggs and muffin. The garnish was old and withered, the ham was tough and flavorless. Just plain bad . I wanted to go to Mt. Airy Breakfast and lunch but they were closed. Not a good experience for us.

Yelp
I was concerned when one of my girlfriends said she wanted to dine here now that she has moved in the neighborhood. The Google reviews were very mixed between customer service and food quality. My first experience with Breakfast Boutique was with their Chestnut Hill location which I had delicious food and no problems. When this location opened, monitored the reviews for this location and decided I will not spend my money here. That changed when this was the location selected for catch up session with one my girls. I am happy to report that customer service was good. When I walked in, there was no one there to greet me. However, in less than a minute a young lady came from the kitchen area, greeted me, asked me if i needed a table for one as I walked in alone, I said a table for two and she grabbed some menus and flatware and escorted me to a table. She then informed me the name of our waitress as I sat down. My girlfriend arrived just a couple of minutes after me so we reviewed the menu and our waitress. We started with water and juice and then after determining what we were going to order, our server was there to take our order. But that was the last time we saw her until we received our check. Our food and drinks were delivered to our table by someone else. Our drinks came out quickly and there was a bit of a wait for our food (we both ordered the Boutique Sampler which included red velvet pancakes, cinnamon swirl pancakes, and the stuffed French toast and a side of bacon). I would have loved my food to come out hot versus lukewarm but I still give them 4 stars for the good morning greeting, time it took to get a table and place an order, size of water and juice, and the portion size of my food. I truly enjoyed the stuffed French toast. The red velvet pancakes and cinnamon swirl pancakes were fine. Nothing I would order again. The prices are reasonable as well. Tip: residential street parking is FREE on the weekend

Yelp
The food was excellent. I got the shrimp and grits and my partner got the boutique belly filler and French fries. The food came out in a decent amount of time and the waitress was very attentive. The restaurant is a bit small and I recommend bringing a jacket because I was freezing cold.

Donovan S.

Yelp
This place is trash. It is over priced and the portions are horrible. Complete waste of money.

Christa M.

Yelp
I had a horrible experience. They were testing out a new ordering system which required them to go back and forth to the kitchen every time we added something to the order. Inconvenienced us greatly. When we told them we wanted to leave, they tried to force us to order food and stay and wait for the food. The restaurant was not managed well and they were clearly understaffed. Would not recommend. Left without any food in my stomach and had a bad experience.

Yelp
This was my second time at the Mount Airy Breakfast Boutique and the menu selection did not disappoint! I tossed over what to try again this time lol. That just means I have to go to back. This is a cozy gem in the 6600 block of Germantown Avenue in Mt. Airy. They have a second location in Chestnut Hill in the 8600 block of Germantown Avenue and a new location named Boutique River Falls located in the 3200 block of S. Ferry Rd. Without further ado, allow me to introduce what's on the table: Fried fish and grits. Question: Salt and pepper or sugar in grits? Blueberry waffle French Toast Build Your Own Omelete Cornbread Boutique Seafood Omelette with salmon, shrimp, spinach, and cheese/ Boutique potatoes / Fresh avocado Due to the small size of the restaurant and kitchen, depending on the day and time you arrive service may be slow. My suggestion is, go with someone you njoy talking to and be patient. The food is prepared fresh and definitely worth the wait! Our waitress Rachel was super pleasant and apologetic for our wait. We understood we arrived at a popular hour on a Saturday but we definitely had a great time discussing relationship topics. We even met a nice couple that joined in our conversation. I would highly recommend checking out the Mount Airy Breakfast Boutique. Cheers! https://www.breakfastboutiquepa.com/ ($$)

Yelp
Save your money... I came here on a Sunday in the early afternoon - my cousin and I originally chose another restaurant but their wait was too long and we were hungry and noticed that this place wasn't too far from where we were. Also, we called first to gauge the wait, which we were told was about 15 mins. When we arrived we saw a sign that read "Please wait to be seated" so we stood by the door until someone came from the back and acknowledged us. Once our table dried and we were seated, then a waitress came to take our drink orders; the drinks were brought to the table quickly (with no ice... I guess we were supposed to know to ask for it?). The menu options looked fairly good - I decided on the Vegan Chicken and Buckwheat waffle meal and an order of home fries. As the waitress repeated my order, she repeated it wrong (she kept saying Vegan Chicken and Oatmeal waffle); I corrected her multiple times, then she took my cousin's order. Before she could leave the table, I asked her to repeat our orders and she did (correctly). When the food was brought to the table, I was shocked and underwhelmed. The waffles were pale and unlike anything that I had ever seen - I must admit that I never had a Buckwheat waffle before but when I googled it, they were all some shade of brown, not tan... The waitress dropped our food on the table and basically ran away - she did not ask if we needed anything else so I waited a few minutes for her to return from the back and then asked for butter for the waffles, I buttered my waffle and took a bite - the waffle tasted like uncooked dough (even though it was firm); I took a bite of the vegan chicken and that was ok so I thought I might eat home fries and chicken but the home fries came out with 1 onion and absolutely no flavor. I was very disappointed. Another waitress, who I believe was also the manager, walked by our table and asked if everything was ok - I shared my dissatisfaction with her. While I was sharing, she let me know that the waitress was supposed to ask if I wanted onions and peppers in my home fries, which she did not. I was hungry and disgusted but could not dare to ask for my order to be "fixed" nor did I dare order anything else because the food that I had lacked flavor and I had no confidence that anything I ordered would meet my standards. I caution all who are contemplating giving this place a try - if you like good food and good service, DON'T!

Christina M.

Yelp
The food was terrible and I was shocked to see how much I was charged when I got the bill. I ordered a side salad and was charged for a full sized ($12 compared to $4) and charged $7 for a glass of lemonade. I was told there was nothing that could be done about it even though the waitress admitted to making a mistake. While waiting for our food another customer left because the waitress put their order in wrong then told them they would have to wait "a long time" for them to make the correct dish. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place.

Yelp
Stopped by this breakfast boutique for my last breakfast in Philly and it was fantastic! They open at 7:30am and we were able to get seated right away. Staff was very personable, and we got our breakfast orders out very quickly. Loved my green eggs and ham, and was impressed by the amount of green veggies inside my eggs. The jerk chicken and waffles got rave reviews from heat and flavor of the wings to the fluffiness of the waffles. No bad bite across our orders, and service was speedy. Will be back the next time I'm in Philly!

Yelp
While visiting Philly my group decided to eat at breakfast boutique. The restaurant was empty so prefect..... nope! Tho the food at this restaurant was undeniably amazing, the sluggish service left much to be desired. It's disappointing that such delicious cuisine was overshadowed by the slow service. Other customers said the same things that were seated nearby. Unfortunately, despite the excellent food, I won't be returning due to the frustratingly slow service.

Yelp
Absolutely wanted to try Breakfast Boutique but the service, really the lack of attentiveness as if they don't really want you there, was what had us walking in then walking out and going to our jawn down the street. Maybe it was an off morning. No review on food, just the vibe and the service felt lacking.
google avatar

Lelia O.

Yelp
I only gave this rauncharama one star, because you HAVE to star it to post a review. The service was terrible. And the fish served with the fish and grits was way too salty for human consumption. The manager came out and told me that if it was cooked again, it wouldn't be any different because they use a preseasoned mixture to flour the fish. He then proceeded to point to certain items that I could only substitute. $25.00 for inedible fish with eggs and grits that I wound up tossing Oh, and the bathroom was nasty. My first and last visit to the Breakfast Boutique.

Tina W.

Yelp
I finally went here after hearing so many good things. I did not have a great experience. I ordered off their vegan menu, & still got items that were not vegan friendly. It wasn't brought to my attention until after I ate it. Only was able to get 10% removed off my bill. Would not recommend if you have dietary limitations. They seemed very careless

Yelp
The place was cute and cozy, hence the name "boutique ". We had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. Not bad. We noticed a table in the back, so after a few minutes we inquired about sitting there. The hostess stated they were expecting a large group. Ok. She began cleaning off a table for four. A couple walls in with their baby in a car seat. After the hostess cleaned off the table for four she sat us, and immediately after we sat down the couple with the baby were seated at the table that was for "a large group". I didn't Like that because we had just asked about that table barely five minutes prior. Now to the food. I ordered the stuffed French toast. The French toast was good and the filling was as well. I also ordered bacon and grits as sides. The grits were a little lumpy. I would come back to try an omelette or breakfast sandwich.

Yelp
Located in the heart of Mount Airy, this quaint breakfast shop looks more like a small gathering room than restaurant. Two servers carry the load of the service from sitting customers, taking orders, serving food, to cleaning the tables. They were gracious and pleasant, facilitating an atmosphere that is casual and informal. I ordered the Boutique Breakfast Sandwich, which is two eggs, breakfast meat (I ordered bacon), with cheese on a croissant. I added to it a side of the Apple Pie Pancakes. The food arrived and was pleasant in appearance. My eye immediately went to the sandwich that was served with only two slices of bacon. A tad sparse in my mind. It was however quite tasty despite the limited pork contribution, the croissant sweet and flaky the way I would have expected. The pancakes, on the other hand, were a tad bland, with the randomly placed apple slices that were cooked inside the hotcake not adding a whole lot to the flavor of the dish. The sweet butter cream was the star of the plate, adding a rich, buttery flavor to a selection that was screaming for sweetness. Service and ambiance is what carried meal. From a food standpoint, it left a lot to be desired, especially since I can get a comparatively equal sandwich from a local quick serve restaurant at a fraction of the cost.

Yelp
A really cute ambiance. The service was good, and the waitress was patient and friendly with us (my friend had her 3-year-old with her). I had waffles, and they were bland and doughy--didn't really like them. My friend had a vegan breakfast bowl and said hers was really good. I would give it another shot.
google avatar

Tiara D.

Yelp
The food is delicious but the service is insane. It took over 10 minutes to be acknowledged when we walked in, there was plenty of seating available but we still had to wait.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is TERRIBLE!!!! After waiting over 20 minutes for a sandwich it was not made properly. I sent it back and it STILL wasn't made properly! I asked for a refund...NO MANAGER there to provide the refund. So basically I spent almost $20 for NO FOOD! The cashier was sweet and the women who "seemed" to be upper management was pushy, refusing to provide the refund, and insistent that they make it again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! JUST DONT GO! Period! I'm visiting from out of town and every other black owned business I've been to has been wonderful....NOT THIS ONE. Stay away!!!!!

Yelp
I gave a 4 star rating because the food was good. I wanted to give a 3 star rating because there were some things that needed to be addressed. This place has the potential to be so much more. I Met up with my family here for brunch to celebrate my dads birthday. The atmosphere was inviting. The decor and wall artistry was eye catching. Once everyone got there the waitress came over to take our order. She was timid and a little nervous. She took our drink orders and came back with waters and everyone's drink except mines. I asked about my drink and she said there weren't anymore glasses to make mines. I'm thinking she could have kept that info to herself. I shouldn't have to know that, and if she didn't bring a bunch of waters maybe she could of made my drink. No big deal I just thgt it was strange. She takes our food order and the food comes out after an hour, I ordered the fish and grits but didn't get to take a picture cause I sent it back because my grits were in a dirty bowl, with some red stuff all over the sides of it. The fish was good could have used a few more pieces thgh. It came with cornbread which tasted like cake. No real issues with the food. However there was an abundance of flies in there flying around. So much so I had to keep a napkin over my food whiling eating. I will say they charge for every little thing cheese, onions, peppers etc so be careful when ordering cause they don't tell you it's not included. They also charge a credit card fee if you use one, so bring cash!

BigLennysgirl ..

Yelp
Today was my first time at Breakfast Boutique. I had breakfast with a friend. Our server Aiyana was very pleasant and accommodating. Chef Jose was awesome and prepared our food to perfection. We had no complaints

Angie C.

Yelp
My daughter and I dined for brunch - there are so many varied choices on the menu! We were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour for our food to come out. My dish was flavorful but the ham was over cooked and difficult to cut. I ordered Swiss cheese in my eggs but maybe they ran out since I got cheddar? My daughter's poached eggs were also overcooked - typically this is the quickest way to prepare an egg so not sure what happened. Our bill came to over $40 - definitely not worth it. We were underwhelmed by our dining experience today.

Yelp
Gotta be honest and say that this spot was second to the one in Chestnut Hill. Food was decent, but a little overly buttered for my taste, and im feeling a little heavy after eating. Service was solid, but they could have had another server to help out and not put all the pressure on one guy. Overall a good experience, would definitely consider coming back to support again

Yelp
The Boutique is where artsy brunch nook meets wallet friendly and delicious meals in a quaint neighborhood. I got the Jerk Chicken & Waffles in store. The jerk chicken spices complemented the soft waffles. I got the Stuffed French Toast and Eggs Benedict to go. Both were packaged with care, and they tasted delicious- not under or over seasoned or sickeningly sweet. Overall, this was some of the best prepared meals, that I've had for the price, and the price reflected the generous & filling portions. The only downsides are that there might be a wait for a table and they appear short staffed. Our waitress was a sweetheart, but could definitely use an extra hand. I'll definitely make this a regular spot, when in town!

Yelp
Every time I order to make out here there is an issue, whether they mess up the order, the order takes over an hour etc. this time is my last time. Because my order was over $60- I had to pay with a credit card (incur an extra charge not by choice), and told it would be 30 minutes. I knew there would be an issue when it took me 8 minutes and 45 seconds just to place the order over the phone. The woman who took the ordered fumbled and bumbled the whole way through. I was made to pay, although I explained her repeating my credit card number out loud was a security issue she insisted so I paid. My husband rides around there after about 35 minutes to pick up our food- surprise surprise they never put the food order in- I placed this order at 9:15AM, it is now 10:30, and I still have no food. The food is always quality so I can't complain about that, but the take out service is horrible and a deterrent. A message to Breakfast Boutique. I also own a business and I am black, it is not easy- capital is scarce, and especially in food the competition is tough! But you can't let those items stop you from good service and being the best you can be. This neighborhood deserves a quality business with competent and quick staff that can assist. I am sad to say this will be my last time patronizing Breakfast Boutique of Mt. airy. The level is service for the price is inexcusable.

Yelp
Came here with my girlfriend. Server was nice and respectful. I believe his name was Chris. Food was really good. Long live the chef. And they played the good old school music that everyone can vibe to while chatting or eating. Definitely will come back.

Yelp
Absolutely wow. Very clean. Very stylish. She had the stuffed french toast with sweet butter cream filling with strawberries on top. Excellent presentation. She loved it, but couldn't finish her food and took half home for later. I had the Green Eggs and Ham. Eggs scrambled with spinach mixed in. The ham was particularly tasty, as were the eggs. Service and coffee were just fine. $40 with tax and tip.

Yelp
The one star is for the AWFUL customer service, not the food nor the ambiance. We waited 30 minutes to have our presence acknowledged from the front door. We waited another 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we waited 30 minutes for our order to be served. Once our order was taken, it took 45 minutes for the incorrect orders to be served. That is a more than 2 hours spent experiencing a far less than desirable dining experience with unprofessional service. Unacceptable! Granted, the restaurant was extremely understaffed but that fact does not excuse missing the opportunity to greet and advise guests on seating expectations. Hung in there because our previous experiences have been pleasant, the food is always good and we love to support Black business. The aforementioned aside, we will more than likely not return to the restaurant and as it turns out the manager on duty made us aware that, "my husband and I don't EVER have to return to the restaurant again." What a disservice to this restaurant. We were not rude, demanding nor were we deserving of the treatment that we received that day. This sort of behavior is intolerable and if permitted to persist will lead to the business' demise. We have been acquainted with the owners for many years now and we pray that they will be able to turnaround their huge "front of the house" problems. PS I am not sure if the Chestnut Hill location is any better but at this point I am unwilling to find out. Time and management against stress are too valuable to me.

Farrow W.

Yelp
I come here trying to support black business, but want to kick myself every time I do. First, in German town, please FIX THE FLUCKING DOOR!!! It doesn't close all the way, and in the winter the poor patrons freeze to death. I don't work here! Why do I have to stop eating and close the door? The food is good, but the service is HORRENDOUS!! Chef Gordon would have a field day rating this restaurant. GET IT TOGETHER Y'ALL! On your best day, you suck!
google avatar

Russell M.

Yelp
Love the menu & that the business is black-owned. I will be back as I support the concept & I've also enjoyed the Chestnut Hill location a few times. But, the service definitely leaves something to be desired. My concern was all about attitude. While hostess & my waitress weren't rude, neither were very warm & friendly either. My waitress never checked back with me after delivering my order, so I ended up having to get up to ask hostess to have waitress come back since something had been left off my order. Both of them occurred to me like they really didn't want to be there. Since prices have understandably jumped up a lot, the least we can get (besides good food) is some decent service. Not too much to ask IMO. Just my experience.

Yelp
Breakfast boutique is the perfect intimate spot for breakfast. The service is exceptional. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I had the avocado toast it was delicious. My son ordered blueberry pancakes, they were fresh and fluffy. I will definitely be returning here.

Yelp
Breakfast was great at Breakfast Boutique, we ordered Eggs, Home Fried Potatoes, Buttermilk Pancakes and Turkey scrapple. Everything was delicious and the service was good, although they could use more staff to make the wait move more quickly. Overall We enjoyed our breakfast and the pretty decor.

Holly E.

Yelp
Funny every time I walk into this establishment it is not crowded. The last time my husband and I arrived we suggested the window seat, and the waitress denied us. Today, I asked for butter because the waffles that were served luke warm are served with almond butter. I was almost done my omelette by the time I was provided the butter to cold waffles. The service there is horrible. My aunt stated "excuse me, then asked for the check ". The waitress rolled her eyes as she wiped off a table beside us, Yes, I saw you.

Yelp
My daughter wanted to go to Breakfast Boutique since they have a few Vegan Options. I was so pleased with my earlier visit this week that I was more than glad to go back. This vist didn't quite turn out the same. The place is pretty small so it doesn't take much to have people waiting. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. The wait staff was very friendly and apologetic about the wait, which was fine. The wait for our food to come out was about 45 minutes. (No apologies or explanation given) That was disappointing! We did have coffee and water while we waited. My daughter ordered the Vegan Chicken and Waffles. She said the Chicken was just ok, but the Waffles were dry and tasteless. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and a toasted Croissant. It was delicious, the grits just needed salt and pepper. I don't think they add any seasoning. All in all, a long wait this time for food, but would differently go back. Just make sure you're not in a hurry. Vegans! Proceed with caution!

Fry an egg on a rock in the middle of winter before going here. Your rock egg will be done before you're seated or greeted at this place. It's a no, never again for me.

Yelp
Super nice staff! The manager was friendly and I had the best seafood omelet here. Closed at 2.

Yelp
What a great little breakfast spot located right on Germantown Ave. It is a small restaurant but the set-up is simple but appealing. I came here with a group of 5 for brunch. I had the Jerk Chicken and Waffles with a side of bacon and eggs. The jerk chicken and waffles was delicious. The jerk chicken was so succulent, flavorful, spicy,& tender and it tasted great with the waffles with syrup on it. The cheese eggs were good and the bacon was nice and crispy. The food can take a little bit of time to come out but it's fine because it's so fresh and hot when it comes out. Definitely come here if you're looking for a great tasting breakfast restaurant. They have a large menu so the options are limitless!

Yelp
This was SUPPOSED to be Boutique Buttermilk Pancakes, 2 eggs scrambled hard and 2 pieces of pork bacon. Definitely not what I expected, and it was cold. Instead of pork back, I got on strip od undercooked Turkey Bacon and one eggs with a ton of cheese and I didnt order cheese eggs. Terrible.

Yelp
This place is terrible. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the shrimp was consumed in some kind of grease. My son just ordered scrambled eggs which he said was bad. How can you mess up scrambled eggs? The service is slow and just horrible. I am surprised this place is in business and has another location. Need to shut down, regroup, get a better chef and waitstaff. Btw this was before COVID so there really is no excuse in not finding good people.

Yelp
Good location, easy to park, quaint atmosphere, delicious food, and good service! Will definitely eat here again.

Yelp
One of the best places to get breakfast from in the Mt. Airy. They just have take out at the moment so I ordered via DoorDash. I got their chicken & waffles that were very good. The chicks was done right and seasoned well and the waffles were very soft is delicious.

Yelp
Awful service the vegan food is very underwhelming poor quality and high prices spent 70$ on breakfast and will never give this place my money again. Don't waste your money and time here.

Yelp
As a traveling medical worker I like to blog different places I eat at, especially black owned and this has been nothing but a disappointment! None of the workers know what they're doing. I asked for hard fried eggs that visibly have brown on it they gave me regular eggs, I asked for certain toast they get it wrong all the time, smh toast ladies and gents smh it's not hard. Let's not mention the overly drenched grits with huge clumps of butter in it. Does anyone care about their health goodness! Where is the manager to make sure things are run smoothly and they hire competent workers! Never ever going here again, I'll put my money elsewhere!

Yelp
The food was great. It was fresh and hot. Service wasn't the fastest but that's okay because it takes time for good food. I'd definitely come back

Yelp
Don't let the "boutique" name fool you! This place serves up hearty classic breakfast that would stop lumberjacks in their tracks! Though breakfast spots on Germantown Avenue seem to come and go like the 23 bus, I think Breakfast Boutique will stick around for awhile because they have what it takes to last: 1) good food 2) good service 3) variety. Pancakes, eggs, vegan options, grits ... everything we ate here was delicious. The servings are generous too so you may have some to take home if you can pull yourself away in time. But that's a challenge. I'm not i'm sure why it often seems like the better the food the worse the service but BB bucks that trend. We had our questions answered, suggestions made and given patience to decide. Also, their take out game is on point. Lastly, the options here are breathtaking. You can go down south with fish and grits, stay halal or kosher (or simply healthy) with ample non-pork options. And if like me you're dining with a vegan, they actually have options for them too that are more than just potatoes and toast. The vegan waffle and sausage were both enjoyed. If you're looking for a spot to enjoy a place that takes breakfast seriously like a diner but with the style and variety to satisfy an upscale brunch audience, the answer is s simple: Breakfast Boutique.
