We just returned from an incredible stay in the Owl Room at Mt. Engadine Lodge. Amazing scenery, delectable food, and a staff that goes above and beyond. We hiked local trails, saw wildlife (Including the Mud Munching Moose and a Goodbye Grizzly), and just relaxed. Had a personal glacier, lakes, and waterfall tour with Kia from ViaVia Tours. If you want to detach from the outside and immerse yourself in a magical place, I highly recommend a stay.|As an added bonus, we had a good experience at the Calgary Airport. Very short lines, and lots of helpful, pleasant people.

We really liked the location. The meals were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, we were not told at check in that our room would only be made up on request and we returned at 3pm after a day of hiking, to an unmade bed and wet towels. For what one pays as a daily rate, this is unacceptable. If the problem is lack of staff, then at least reduce the compulsory gratuity. Also no help was offered in carrying luggage upstairs to our room.

My fiancé and I had the most wonderful stay at Mount Engadine Lodge for our elopement. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Everyone made us feel special and celebrated every step of the way and we couldn’t be happier with the decision to stay here. I would highly recommend it and will absolutely visit again!

Mt Engadine Lodge is the jewel in the crown of Kananaskis. The team working at the lodge is exceptional making our four-night stay meaningful, memorable and incredible. We're a three-generation family (ages 18-85) who all found fun, relaxing, restorative and adventurous things to do alone and together. Shared meals (breakfast and dinner) anchored our day, and the meals were amazing! We loved our entire experience!

this place was beautiful and the whole family loved our stay.. but i can’t not leave a review without the mention of how unnecessarily large the portion sizes were for the breakfast/dinners! we could hardly finish our meals and felt the need to overeat (resulting in upset stomaches) as to not contribute to what i assume ends up being so so much food waste!! **noting this especially since i looked around at other visitors having the same reactions to the amount of food. don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious but i really do not think a single person needs to eat for three.. i would assume a place that prides themselves on being environmentally conscious would also care about avoiding throwing away so much food…

Greeted by a wonderful staff on a sunny afternoon in late June with an easy check in process. Soon after settling into the wonderful room we enjoyed a charcuterie board, drinks and afternoon tea. Come hungry because you’ll enjoy this afternoon treat followed by an amazing dinner as you gather with new friends who are staying as well. Breakfast is amazing as well. Great way to start the day. The food was really top notch There are plenty of trails for adventures. Be sure to stop by Spray Lake Reservoir when leaving. The views are spectacular

Staying at this mountain hideaway was worth every penny! The views, the food, the lodging, the ambience and staff were all top notch! I highly recommend staying here and at least staying 2 nights! Your stay starts with an amazing charcuterie board and treats with afternoon tea, to which we also got to enjoy music from a local musician playing the hand pan. That was followed by an easy check in to our cabin. At dinner we were seated in a private area beside a fire to celebrate our anniversary while the food was delivered in a 3 course style. Drinks were great and you had a menu to fill out your choices for breakfast and lunch the next day to make that process super easy. We got to enjoy a fire in the evening made by the staff and got to know some other guests! In the late evening we were able to star gaze right from our balcony to a view that was beyond what we could imagine! The next morning at breakfast they had pastries and fresh salmon laid out with juice and coffee/ tea available while you waited for your main entree. Then a packed lunch for your adventures! All the food was incredible! We couldn’t wait for dinner the next evening! The facilities were great, good hot water and nice smelling toiletries. Clean sheets and bedding, heaters and fans in your room and chairs on your balcony. They even had wagons to bring your belongings to your room. They thought of everything!! I highly highly recommend staying here at least once and checking out a day hike in the area.

Amazing location with perfect view of the mountains. The amenities were great! What a lovely way to disconnect with the option of still checking in occasionally when in the main lodge. Very clean! Service was incredible. Very accommodating staff. Did not question any dietary preferences. It was important to us to have our dog with us and everyone was welcoming. Despite being animal-friendly, you’d never know there were ever animals there — fresh and clean! Special thank-you to Pearce and Erin for being the extra accommodating and so helpful. We will be back!
