Google
Very nice!! You can get items for the week and dinner for your family. From pasta to pies!!! The olive oil lady was recommended to us so we had to try it!! Amazing and her story is even better. Eggs are expensive as usual 😒 my advice is to check out all the farmers in the area before you decide which one you like instead of stopping at the first one.

Local vegetables and fruits, cakes, cooked food, deco, more. Bring your kids. Meet your friends there. Local and state growers. Plenty of vendors. You can even bring your dog. Had fun meeting people and making new friends. Great place to visit.

Google
All locally grown and the selection is great just remember to bring cash some vendors only accept cash. The prices are low as well everything was priced lower than the grocery stores.

Go... every Tuesday in the summer. So many great things... support local businesses. Love going

Google
This is the best place to shop for local vegetables, fruits and local spices! It’s where the locals shop from May-September!

Google
Great little farmers market. Seasonal veggies, along with local food truck vendors. Parking during the school year can be a little hard as parents and teachers may still be in the parking lots, but once school is out for summer parking is much easier.

Google
Great place to buy high quality produce. Wide selection available. I was a bit disappointed that there were not any actual Farmers for sale. Don't be misled by the name.

Bridget Williamson

Google
Lots of food! But not much stuff like trinkets and artisan things.

Yelp
A delightful selection of fresh food from local farmers, paired with an array of tasty treats like homemade jams, baked goods, and pasta, inspires a true celebration of community and flavor.

Yelp
Lots of fun. Good vendors. Cool atmosphere. Unfortunately, quite overpriced goods compared to other farmer's markets around the country. That's the only reason it gets 3 stars as opposed to 5.

Yelp
What a sweet farmers market to visit! We got some fresh vegetables, fresh gluten free gnocchi, olives, and boiled peanuts! Although the weather was a little gloomy, people showed up excited to shop! The people hosting the booths were very friendly and had wonderful service.

Yelp
The farmers market in Mt Pleasant had nice vibes with lots of people, especially kids from the school next door. You can park in the school parking lot and take a short walk over. I will say that it didn't seem as big or have as many options as some other local markets, but it did have a good variety and having the awnings to be under out of the weather was a definite plus. I think its one of the most kid friendly markets I've seen. There was a shaved ice stand and I swear almost every kid was eating one!

Yelp
Dozens of great local vendors. I enjoy buying fresh produce and going to the food trucks that come each week. The live music is great.

Yelp
Such a good farmers market! Great organic vendors, great prices and even a dog vendor. Highly recommend supporting local!

Yelp
I love supporting local businesses and farmers and this was a lovely surprise when we made a stop here. Bought local honey, peaches, blueberry bites and olives. Live music, seafood, low country boil, crepes, ice cream, boiled peanuts, hot dogs, elderberry lotion, plants, fresh flowers under an open shaded space. Great place to bring the family and friends. Parking available. Wonderful!

Yelp
This is an update to my original review. I come here every Tuesday since the market opened this year 2020. I feel that it's mist important now more than ever to support local. I love this market & love all the fresh meat, eggs & veggies, spices pastas offered by local farmers. SD is enforced and masks are worn. Please buy local and support our local suppliers.

Yelp
This is an amazing Farmers Market. I almost want to schedule my next Charleston trip for a Tuesday just so I can come back. So many great vendors, food options, great music, and a friendly atmosphere. I wish we were staying longer in the area, we would have bought more and tried more food. We got cookies from the cookie vendor, dog treats (that my dog loves) from the southern barkery, pasta from the lady that sells homemade pasta, peaches, blue berries from a farmer, and jalapeño and cheese sausage, and eggs from the guy that sells meat. We also got a lemonade from the lemonade guy. All 5 stars. Amazing eggs. Pasta was amazing. Great cookies. Great fruit. These vendors/farmers really know what they are doing. And great music. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
It's been hard lately getting to the Mount Pleasant Farmers Market since no longer living in Mt. P, but once in a while we still try to get to it. If only it was held on the weekend, but unfortunately the famers market is during the week; making it harder to get there after work due to all the traffic. But once there there is plenty of parking in the surround parking lots. Here at the farmers market you won't just find only fresh vegetables, but they also have jams, jellies, home-made goods, dips, candies, and food trucks to name a few. A few times I've also seen some live music going down here; including some good banjo.

Yelp
I always say I'm gonna make my way over there and never do but I finally made my way to the Mt P Farmers Market. It's got a great location over on Coleman blvd and if the parking is full you can park across the street in the Bottles plaza and play Frogger to get across. You'll find all your farmers market favorite from local produce (lot's of it) to fresh meats, eggs, jams, spices, etc... You can also grab a bite to eat from a handful of local food vendors. I found that the produce was priced really well and you had a few folks to choose from with plenty of variety. The other stuff was a little more pricey. I picked up a bag of pork rinds for eight or nine dollars. They were great but that's a bit much. You'll also find activities for kids and live music most of the time. Plus there are real bathrooms instead of portolets set up which is a nice bonus. Now if I could just get in the routine of going weekly!

Yelp
I am here at 4:11 and it is supposed to be open. Not a soul in sight! No signs stating why it is closed either. Very disappointing to say the least!

Yelp
Buy local. This is a perfect example of fresh products, not like the stores have. From meats to carrots, why go any other place. The people are warm and friendly, the area is large and not congested, right off the main rd, and parking is easy. Let me stress, that over the years prices have gone up slightly, but that's what you pay for fresh food. Is it still worth it, of course. What's interesting is that this local produce lasts longer then store-bought. Ah yes, like the old days. Don't miss this gem of a market. Frank G

Yelp
So Tim and I are driving on our way to Sullivan's Island and Tim shouts out, "FARMERS MARKET!" It was Tuesday, and I guess they have this farmers market on Tuesday, so win for us. U-Turn our vehicle and make our own parking. Tim got some BBQ pork, I got some coffee beans. We both tried a bunch of other stuff like fruit shakes and deep fried peanuts. Only thing missing was beer. Made a pourover from my coffee the last two days. That stuff is GOOD! Find that vendor and pick up some "Sexy" coffee!

Yelp
I love this market. I drive all the way from Goose Creek on Tuesdays. It is a great place to grab some locaally grown produce, eggs, fowl, and grass fed steer. It is a foodie's one stop shop for freshness! I will admit though that the portapotties are rather disgusting and I have to take a star away for that. So, go before you leave the house, and enjoy all that mother nature and the low country have to offer!

Yelp
Charming farmer's market located on an area school yard pavilion. Parking was a pain, as you can't park on school grounds. Parking available across the road in a shopping plaza and there were a couple of crossing guards that were very helpful. It's a small market with limited offerings, but it was interesting to speak with area farmers, bakers and bee keepers.

Sarah P.

Yelp
The primary focus of this market is produce. A couple of large areas with great choices mixed in with some olive oils and cheeses. There's another section with mostly prepared food, chicken, bbq, with my personal favorite, BKed donuts. Ahhh those donuts! Mt. Pleasant Seafood has cooked shrimp, shrimp dip, crab dip and other goodies . Great crew working their spot. I was hoping for a food truck, but didn't see one. This is one popular Farmer's Market. Located on the grounds of Moultrie Middle School, I do not recommend arriving when the market opens at 3pm, because the on site parking lot is not available until 4pm (after school pickup lines). Additional parking is available in the large lot on the other side of Coleman Blvd. Between school letting out and the normal congestion on Coleman, this market, although nice, is a bit too chaotic for me. I was with someone who was on crutches. It was a navigating challenge.

Yelp
I love a good farmers market, and this one ranks up there with the best of them. Open on Tuesdays, it's a great way midweek to get what you need locally without going to a major chain grocer. So many vendors here are sampling their wares and selling various sizes of their products. I had to control myself with the debit card because almost all of them take payments electronically, and with the kids wanting a bit of everything to take home, I was about to dive into debt danger. The location is a busy intersection, but there was a police officer there sitting in his car with the lights flashing to help if needed, and the traffic lights have a big silver button to push for pedestrians, which my kids did multiple times (because one push is never enough). The only reason I didn't walk away with a LOT of stuff this time is because we were heading to dinner at Crave and I didn't want anything sitting in my car for too long, but I'll be back for some amazing pasta and fresh fruit and veggies in the very near future.

Yelp
Love, love, love this local farmers market. You can get so much great stuff here, such as: -fresh made pastas, sauces, jams, spices, and baked goods -natural local honey and pollen -tons of fresh fruits and vegetables grown locally -organic meats -fresh seafood -beautiful local artisan crafts They pretty much always have live music, and usually sometime in November or December is the holiday market which is a do not miss. Parking is crazy, but I've always been able to find a spot because people are coming and going constantly. It's probably my favorite farmers market, not only because it's so close to home, but because the one downtown pretty much has the same stuff except for the "food trucks court", so I really don't think I'm missing anything by not hitting the "bigger" farmers market that is usually overcrowded. Here are the details: April 9 - October 8, 2013 Tuesdays - 3:30 pm until dusk Location: Mount Pleasant Farmers Market Pavilion on Coleman Boulevard (Moultrie Middle School) website in case you want to find out about the holiday or Christmas in July markets: http://www.comeonovermp.com/index.aspx?NID=110

Yelp
We've been coming to the Mount Pleasant Farmers for years! Sometimes we come to buy fruits and veggies, and sometimes we come to see the beautiful colors of the season and grab an afternoon snack. You can find farm-fresh fruits, veggies, seafood, fresh pasta, pickles, bread, low country fare pre made for takeout, artisan soda, Popsicles, spices and more.

Yelp
The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market offers an outstanding array of produce and food items. And all (I assume) locally grown or produced. Easily recommended and a must for local market enthusiasts. By the way, this was my first visit and I found parking difficult. I suppose the regulars handle this better.

Yelp
First time at the market and must say it was a great find. Parking was expected to be difficult but it wasn't. People come in and shop and move on so that was nicer than expected. Some great finds such as farm grown honey which is a must. Loved the food that could be purchased for dinner. Had an awesome gyro! Would go back just for that. So many fresh options to choose from. Can't possibly eat them all in a week but what a great fresh option to have. Worth the trip.

Yelp
This is a great farmers market. All of the food is fresh and delicious. There is always a great assortment of foods, products, and entertainment.

Yelp
Been coming to the farmers market for produce for a while, you can get some nice fresh fruits and veggies, as well as others things like cheeses, olives and olive oil, meats, pickles, spices, breads, and probably many other fresh items I'm forgetting about. The last time we came we were very tempted to try some of the dinner options available but we had dinner plans... Tonight, we went specifically for the comfort food... Ribs, chicken, pulled pork, etc.. We had chicken with several sides. It was delicious, and very reasonable. I'll have to go back for the ribs.

Yelp
The market at Marion Square, by contrast, is a great happening scene, but not ideal if your main focus is actually buying produce. The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is much more subdued, but I find it to be a better showcase of local fruits and vegetables. That's not to say it's a downer. There is also some chill music -- they do a good job of mixing up the styles from week to week -- a handful of food and drink vendors, and plenty of neighborhood families to make for a pleasant time.

Yelp
Great little farmers market. Vendor food available while you browse, live music and plenty of veggies.
