My husband and I along with my borherinlaw and girlfriend stayed at the Sleep Motel which is right next door to this little gem. We had salted caramel ice cream one evening which is made in house. And was probably one of the best ice creams I've ever had. Definitely a must try. Then on the day of our departure we had breakfast sandwiches on hand made croissants which were huge. I had the ham and eggs with havarti and pepper jelly!! The ham is cured in house it was amazing as well. Love these kinds of places that take pride in all of the food they serve. If your in this area please give it a try you won't be disappointed!!

10/20/25 - It seems the business changed ownership and now offers only grab and go with a more limited menu and only limited outdoor seating. We came for the VerMonte Christo we saw in an old photo, which is no longer offered. However, the home made ice cream was some of the best I've had period, and the Reuben was fantastic. Since it is right next to the road there is a lot of noise from cars driving by while eating.

A must visit place! We met the owners son (Ben) at their farmstand, he was very friendly and recommended we visit the restaurant. The next morning we showed up and had an amazing breakfast. You could taste the freshness in the food. I had the apple omlette, very delicious! It had maple sausage and Vermont cheddar! The cheese was the type of cheese you want on an omlette! I also had it with the rye bread they make on Burlington with the raspberry jam, sooo damn good. My husband had pancakes. I had a bit of his pancakes and omg they were both fluffy and nice and crispy and buttery on the outside! It filled us to the point it held us for our 7 mile hike lol A good country town vibe i loved it! Will definitely be visiting next time!

Google
A must stop for breakfast if you are in the area. Homey vibe, great food, and friendly service. Haven’t tried the lunch yet but the menu looks great. Breakfast and lunch menus both include vegetarian options. I can’t wait to come back to try the pie and ice cream!

My husband and I decided to try this place out yesterday . The food we ordered is so simple yet surprisingly so good!. Our waitress Broke that served us is kind. This place only accepts cash!, if you didn’t bring cash there is an ATM machine inside. Also, the ice cream is the best we ever tried!.

Google
Had lunch upstairs. Lunch itself was good. The waitress was no nonsense in a very new England type of way. She let me know she was the boss, and I kinda liked it. Clam chowder so thick you could eat with a fork. But the DESSERTS! mile high apple pie. With 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. If that doesn't make you happy then I don't know what will.

Whenever I am up in Vermont I try to stop by here for breakfast. Their food is consistently delicious and hot. The two things I'd recommend the most are their muffins -- literally the best -- and to try their ice cream. It's very creamy and delicious. Everything else I get here is just a bonus. Their pancakes are also good and so are their omelettes. No matter what you do you can't go wrong. The waitstaff are always kind and attentive, no matter how busy they are. Always a pleasure to visit this place and I recommend it to anyone I know is visiting the area. Be aware this place is cash only. They do have an ATM. Sometimes they get very busy so you may have to wait to be seated. It is worth it! They also have paintings hanging around the building that are available for purchase -- they're also cash only, so be prepared if that's something you may want to buy.

Google
What a cozy, classic diner. Pancakes, omelettes, coffee: all top notch. Absolutely love the atmosphere in places like this, and it was a little highlight of our roadtrip before a long day of driving.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped here for breakfast with our 9 month old son while on vacation and absolutely loved it! It was a small, cozy place with lots of great artwork for sale on the walls from a local artist. The food was amazing and we were well taken care of. One waitress even brought out a lost and found toy as an extra for our son to play with. If we're in the area again, we would definitely come back!

Yelp
Wow! What a find! On a cool Autumn day visiting Vermont for some fall foliage we had the great success of finding this little lunch spot. What a treat! Upon entering we were told to "sit where we like" and appreciated that the establishment was obviously taking social distancing and cleanliness very serious! When the "town crier"- our waitress came over, she was very welcoming and friendly and shared the specials which I eagerly went with. The delicious, flavorful soup of the day was a Turkey Thai Curry and the Oven Roasted Chicken salad on sourdough bread. It was perfect! Hubs got the Gobbler sandwich; turkey with cranberry sauce and sprouts- just delicious! We stuffed ourselves with the Mile High apple pie and VT maple pecan ice cream, an absolute treat. If you're ever in the neighborhood, do yourself a favor and drop in- you'll be glad you did!

Yelp
This establishment has relocated to a new and larger building making it easier to enter and dine with a more pleasant experience. The food is absolutely delicious and homemade with fresh ingredients. They do not offer French fries or onion rings but accompany the sandwiches and other meals with potato chips, a healthier option. The prices are a little steep but we'll worth it especially if you slips the meal with your dining partner. I have only dined once since their relocation but will plan to visit again someday to try different things offered on menu .

Yelp
This restaurant was very accommodating although it was so busy. The waitresses were so friendly and the food was EXCELLENT. It was very hard to find a spot to eat at in this area, but I'm glad we found this one. They also have a lot of beautiful paintings for sale as well.

Yelp
When looking for lunch downtown, there's not much to choose from. We chose Mountain Creamery over Cafe Vert because we wanted a server and a sit down place rather than an order at the counter and seat yourself vibe. This looked more like a place the locals would go (which is the type of place we tend to like). The tables and dining room area itself is fine- nothing fancy or hipstery here. Bathroom needs some attention and might scare away snootier people. Not a ton of tables, but enough open we could choose between a table and booth. The hostess got us drinks right away and later a server came by with menus including a specials menu. Wish we'd made it for breakfast because that menu looked super yummy, but lunch would have to do. I had a big bowl of turkey soup and my husband had a BLT in homemade sourdough, served with chips and a pickle. His sandwich was smallish, but plenty for him. The chips tasted fresh. The bacon was local, I believe. My soup was disappointing, but fine. The dark meat turkey was delicious but there was minimal flavor to the broth. No hint of herbs or seasoning. I had to add a generous amount of pepper and salt. Our server wasn't super attentive- we had to ask for refills and by the time we got her attention we were nearly done with our meals. But she was pleasant enough- I'm sure she sees a lot of annoying tourists, like us, and it was lunchtime. We were a little flustered that it was cash only and there was no clear signage that announce this. I'd love to see them post this near or on the door- it just would have been a much appreciated heads up.

Yelp
This review is about the service. We didn't even get a chance to try the food. I had heard that apple pie with cheddar was the thing to try when in Vermont and this restaurant came up as a place where people were raving about this exact dish. We came in the evening to have a slice of apple pie with cheddar after having dinner. Although it said that the restaurant was open, I think there should be better signage somewhere saying that only the ice cream bar is open after 3 PM. This was somewhat misleading and when we got there the woman was at first a little annoyed that we wanted to come in for the apple pie as though we should magically know when what part of the restaurant is open. We asked her if we could have a slice with the cheese to go and at first she didn't even know what we were talking about and then said that they don't have apple pie at the moment. We asked if they would have it again in the morning and she said yes. We came back the next morning from New Hampshire just to have this pie with cheese, and when I walked in and asked the woman that was working at the service bar, she looked annoyed that I interrupted her conversation with the other waitress, told me that they didn't have apple pie and then went back to her conversation and ignored me completely. So instead of having breakfast there, we walked out. I think it's polite to complete a conversation with a customer before rudely going back to a conversation with another waitress that you could have after dealing with a customer. I don't even want to try their ice cream or food regardless of how good it is if this is the type of service we received twice from this restaurant.
google avatar

Trinh H.

Yelp
Our waitress was very nice! She liked to talk a lot and was super friendly when we asked her about the menu. The only thing I had to mention was that she filled our two friend's drinks up twice but completely missed me and my other friend's drinks. No biggie though. Honestly wasn't a huge fan of the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. It was just too sweet for my liking. Everything else was pretty good though. Would recommend for tourists to eat at!

Chris N.

Yelp
Place is the best. I'm in the area once a month and come here for breakfast/lunch. Eggs and bacon are fresh from the farm. Bread is made in house. Ice cream is homemade and is the ice cream that woodstock scoops sells in town. Great staff who are vibrant and kind. My favorite menu item is the Cubano, which boasts delicious pork from their own farm. Bring cash and don't be in a rush as they keep a light
google avatar

Lindsey W.

Yelp
This place is a no frills diner. Fairly standard foods like deli sandwiches, soups, grilled sandwiches and burgers. The service, despite the restaurant getting very busy, was quick and friendly. We tried the cubano and the 'VerMonte Cristo'. Both were tasty, but the Monte Cristo was unique, coming with a generous helping of Vermont maple syrup for dipping. Not a totally necessary addition to the already crispy, savory sandwich, but it definitely didn't hurt. The place is known for their 'mile high' apple pie so of course we had to try it and boy we weren't disappointed. Crisp and tart apple packed inside a thick cinnamon sugar coated crust. Yum! We visited Woodstock on a busy Friday afternoon in late December. Everywhere we tried to eat lunch had a super long wait, but for some reason Mountain Creamery had a lull so we snagged a seat. Poke your head in, check out the menu and try for yourself!

Yelp
We had reservations about staying for lunch after seeing the very dated and shabby interior, but I didn't want to judge a book by its cover. We waited a bit to be seated or even acknowledged and after being told where to sit, I overheard one waitress ask another "did those two just walk in and seat themselves?" While the food was good, I have my doubts about the sanitary conditions after seeing the same rag used repeated to clean off table tops and chair seats. Most of the staff were unprofessional with their loud conversations with each other including one about "kids and their dirty little mitts," and another complaining about "tourists!" Most of the patrons were tourists. They do not accept credit cards and there is no prior warning with either a sign or a mention when placing your order. I was going to order an iced tea, but after my husband pointed out two, gallon-sized plastic containers behind the counter, I opted for water. Each container had a handwritten note marked "Iced Tea" and neither of the lids were screwed on. Perhaps it's Sun Tea? Regardless, it should not be out in broad daylight, unless you want to draw attention to your brewing method. The carpet needs replacing and staff need to be trained on professional and courteous interactions with patrons. Everyone who paid their bill before us were scrambling to come up with cash, while others luckily had their checkbooks. I havent carried around my checkbook in over 15 years Conveniently, there is an ATM on premise taking up a lot of room among the tables. We would not return here. Two generous stars for food only.

Yelp
Upstairs is breakfast, and downstairs is ice cream! This review is only for the breakfast side of the establishment. My husband and I went to Woodstock for a weekend away this past month, and stumbled upon this location for breakfast one morning. I have to agree with Kim P's. review that she posted a couple of days ago regarding service. The wait staff isn't very friendly, and are unaccommodating when it comes to the seating. They're also inconsistent with their offerings...I overheard one of the waitresses offering their homemade jam to one customer as a condiment, but it wasn't offered to us. My husband LOVES jam, and if I hadn't asked, we wouldn't have had the chance to try it! I found the breakfast menu to be a bit pricey for the digs, but then read that it was farm fresh, so that made more sense. My husband especially liked his maple sausage that he got as a side with his over easy eggs. I got a veggie scramble, and it was just so-so. The home fries were decent. The establishment is outdated, and the waitstaff doesn't help the appeal so I will probably not eat breakfast here again. But I'm happy to try the ice cream!!
google avatar

Leslie D.

Yelp
This place was just delightful Dash it was a traditional diner using locally sourced and organic ingredients. My pancakes were served with Vermont syrup. I was also brought homemade strawberry jam for my toast. I ordered a veggie scramble made with home fries instead of eggs and it was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the restaurant was taking great precautions against Covid, including contact tracing and socially distanced seating. This cozy little diner was a great escape from the cold weather after walking around the city on a very snowy day!

Haleigh C.

Yelp
Service is absolutely amazing! The food can't be beat! 100000/10 recommend eating here if your in Woodstock!!

Yelp
Quaint little creamery. Good for lunch and breakfast. Great hometown atmosphere. French toast, bacon amd sausage were good. Meats come from nearby Hinterland farm in Killington, VT.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
I saw the sign on the street about Homemade Ice Cream so I went to the take out section downstairs from the restaurant for a nice ice cream. The lady serving was not very nice, she had a long face and she had short answers to the people that were ordering before me. When it was time for me to order I asked if I could try the rum raisin and she got me a sample, kind of not very happy. I was so turned off by this that I just asked for a mint Oreo. I paid (cash only) and left. The ice cream itself tasted just like a Breyer's ...nothing spectacular... nothing special. Nothing to go back for...

Yelp
I've been bringing Fall Foliage tour groups to Woodstock for 16 years and never have I received so many negative reviews from our tour passengers as I did this Fall regarding the Mountain Creamery. They routinely reported the same issue of two female servers, in particular, who were both abrupt and rather rude to them. This is the last thing you'd expect while in Vermont. While our guests universally love the ice cream downstairs (which many have been admonished for bringing upstairs into the restaurant) the fact our folks feel they were treated less than fairly on multiple occasions leads me to NOT recommend this establishment to my groups now. In a small town that lost their largest restaurant this past season (Bentley's), it's a huge disappointment to have to steer them clear of the Mountain Creamery. However, tourists vote with their dollars and they want to feel those dollars are appreciated by the local merchants. Hopefully next Fall season the story is different.

Joan W.

Yelp
Can't vouch for the food or inside the restaurant as we just dropped in for ice cream when passing by. It was really good. Rich, creamy and with great chocolate flavor. We both had the chocolate brownie. Some of the best ice cream I've had in a long while.

Mike P.

Yelp
Excellent food, service. Great parking too since relocation from center of Woodstock.

Yelp
My husband and I visited the Mountain Creamery shop when we visited Woodstock, VT on our Northeast road trip last Labor Day weekend (2016). The shop is located right in the heart of downtown Woodstock and is very quaint and cute. I ordered the apple pie, while my husband ordered some ice cream. Their apple pie a la mode is excellent. The prices are great, the service was very nice, and the food is delicious! It was so fresh and perfect. This place is definitely a must if you're visiting downtown Woodstock, VT!

Yelp
Delicious!! Farm fresh and a great value! Pancakes, ice cream, omelet and egg sandwich were all 10/10! Go here!

Yelp
Outstanding customer service the foods good everything's on point if you want something fresh come here

Yelp
Showed up with at least 13 people after a wedding at Woodstock Inn. They were very accommodating. The service and food was great! Allot of homemade items including the yummy. My omelet with maple sausage, cheddar n apple was unique and tasted great ! Everyone in the large party was pleased, not cheap, get what u pay for

Yelp
This is my favorite breakfast place in Vermont (though, to be fair, there were only two others, and one was a McDonald's). I was planning to go to a diner in West Lebanon for breakfast, but the clerk at the motel I was staying at mentioned a place right next door and said it was the best breakfast in Vermont. I thought, hmmm, well I'll be the judge of that. When I walked in, I was told to sit anywhere. The other customers were all locals. I ordered an omelet that came with toast, home fries, and fruit. I have to say, it was probably the best breakfast I have ever had - the omelet was perfect (the bacon in it and the eggs were all from the owner's farm) as were the potatoes, and . . . fresh fruit! The waitress was nice. I had a really enjoyable breakfast. If I could give it more than five stars, I would, but this will have to do.
google avatar

Sari Marissa G.

Yelp
This review is specifically for the ice cream shop below the actual restaurant located right in the middle of Main Street in my favorite New England town. It's a very no frills spot. Cash only and always a little bit of a wait for Wassail Weekend which is perhaps their busiest weekend of the year so that's to be expected. It does says something that many people are waiting in the cold for this cold treat. My kids flip for this creamy small batch ice cream. Maple walnut is hubs favorite and is going to be a good go to if you're looking for some local flavor as it is of course made with that unmistakeable Vermont maple. The kiddos stick with mint Oreo and a peppermint stick which is only available during the holidays. It's very minty and has real big chunks of candy cane in it! If you're a fan of mint, you'll love this! Prices are somewhat higher, but we don't mind too much. Adding another scooper for Wassail however isn't a bad idea. Not sure why they only have one gal working downstairs during this busy time. We always return each time we visit Woodstock and suggest you give it a try but maybe go for something you can't get back home.
google avatar

Matt W.

Yelp
Oh, for the food, very nice. The home made ice cream and apple pie are pretty much a good reason to triangulate here if you're looking for local-made homey food. We had fantastic home-made soups and pretty decent versions of diner sandwiches as well. Cheery service and while we had a moderately long wait for food on a not-busy day, the old building made it a mostly pleasant wait. Major caveat, however: very, very pricey for the fare. It's not that I begrudge the tourist-zone prices (we ran up over $80 with two desserts and basic sandwiches for a party of four, with only one beverage), but at those prices, I kind of wish they'd put a little money into fixing the stained and bedraggled drop ceiling and a few other somewhat less than clean fixtures here and there.

G.W. E.

Yelp
Great food every time. I wish they'd do a dinner once a month! Don't forget the ice cream!
google avatar

Dawn E.

Yelp
We went here for breakfast and I think it was pretty decent. Eggs were farm fresh, the bread for the french toast was homemade. They had fresh picked fiddle heads for an omelet special (which neither of us tried but fiddle heads are apparently a big thing in VT so it was nice that they had it). The coffee was good, not at all stale like some diner coffee can be. The omelet was VERY fluffy. I've never seen an omelet that fluffy in a diner. The home fries were good, not plain, but could have used a little more seasoning and onion. And the french toast could have been soaked in the egg a little more for my tastes (I like egg all the way through). The butter was freshly whipped. Service was pleasant and friendly. They were busy toward the end but we were not neglected. It's really a 3.5 star review, but I bumped it to 4 since everything was so fresh.

Yelp
After a very satisfying meal up the street, we took a walk through town. The upstairs portion of the business was already closed, but what we were looking for could be found in the downstairs basement storefront the ice cream parlor! OMG, was this good!!!I I had the Maple Walnut and Ellie had the Strawberry. Both were filled with fruit/nuts and the flavors were just over the top. Now we didn't have the "Mile High Pie", but we did see one up close and personal - unlike any pie I have ever seen. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful little family-run business that's a favorite amongst the locals (or so they say). But my girlfriend and I came here on our drive tour through VT, and we were not disappointed by the hospitality of this establishment. We ate primarily from the lunch menu and I was able to eat my very first pulled HAM sandwich was really really well put together and a real treat. I also took a bite of the turkey sandwich [one with all sorts of sprouts on it], and I wasn't a big fan, but hey, to each his/her own. After lunch, we also swung by the basement for some icecream fun, and I was surprised to see that they also make their own waffle cones. I got a scope of the pistachio icecream (home made) and it was served with generous portions of whole pistachios! Overall, great little diner-esque place and I would recommend it to traveling tourists like myself. Food: 4 stars Service: 4 stars Price: 3-4 stars
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
Amazing. We saddled up to the bar and was greeted by the friendly and sassy servers that took amazing care of us. After an great appetizer of mile high apple pie and vanilla ice cream - both of which beat my expectations - we had a more traditional breakfast that was exactly what we needed to start our day. It's places like this that make the trek from D.C. To Vermont more than worth it!

Leslie B.

Yelp
Mountain Creamery was awesome. It's old school and just a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or a quick sweet treat. I got the apple pie with Vermont cheddar and a scoop of maple walnut ice cream. Both were out of this world. I would love to go back and try breakfast here, but for now I would recommend popping in and grabbing a slice of the pie and some ice cream!
google avatar

Pamela B.

Yelp
We had a delicious, hot breakfast with friendly and efficient service! My omelet was huge and filled with feta, tomatoes, olives, spinach and cheese with a ton of homemade home fries and homemade sourdough bread! My husband had blueberry pancakes and ham and enjoyed them as well. Good coffee, good portions and everything was piping hot. Our waitress, Tina, was friendly and so fun to talk to! We loved the down home feeling and will definitely return when we come back to Woodstock!
google avatar

Brian G.

Yelp
Cash online. Over priced for Vermont. Didn't feel homey but it might be the only thing open during slower times. The food was okay and did come quickly though. The VermonteCristo is to avoid because using French Toast as bread is weird. But I suggest the Hot Chocolate!

Heidi M.

Yelp
Driving through town. Stopped for some homemade ice cream. It was good. We got the mile high apple pie ala mode. Yum!! Definitely a great stop when driving through Would like to try lunch

Bergen R.

Yelp
This is a MUST try! We had an amazing breakfast of fresh egg omelette, French Toast, local syrup, cheddar cheese and more. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The service was flawless and Tina is the BEST. Don't miss this gem if you're in Woodstock, A "gotta try" ......

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Had their apple pie a-la-mode for lunch while visiting the area. So glad I did. It was DELICIOUS! Best apple pie I've ever had and the service was wonderful. The ladies were so nice. Just know that it's cash only.
google avatar

Audrey H.

Yelp
The maple ice cream was great but the chocolate and vanilla were just meh. Go downstairs for ice cream and upstairs for food.
google avatar

Bill Y.

Yelp
After riding around in search of covered bridges we needed to take a break. We saw the mountain Creamery and stopped. They had pie and sandwiches but we wanted ice cream. The serving were large an it was very good ice cream so this is a good place to stop and take a break!
google avatar

Carissa H.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place in search of lunch, and immediately discovered that it was exactly what we wanted. The VerMonte Cristo was one of the best my husband had ever had, and obviously was served with delicious maple syrup. My soup and sandwich special was the perfect amount of tuna sandwich coupled with delicious clam chowder. We capped the meal off with one of my favorite peanut butter pies of all time--and I've had quite a few! Service was delightfully charming, and the whole atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

Joy R.

Yelp
This is our favorite place to eat in Woodstock. They only do breakfast and lunch for meals... but everything is farm to table and incredibly good. The apple omelette and Vermonte Cristo are two of the best things on the menu and never disappoint!

Steve D.

Yelp
Best breakfast around. The only downside is they accept cash only, and I usually only have credit cards.

Jamie O.

Yelp
The service is ok; they were stingy with syrup for pancakes and then never came back. Pancakes were pretty good as was the VT omelet. However, be prepared for a "cash only" surprise at the end. The ATM charges a $6 fee to boot. There are no signs saying this is a cash only place because "everybody just knows...." Also we were seated at the smallest booth imaginable for a family of four, one of those being an infant in a car seat. Just an overall vibe of "if you aren't from around here you don't belong..." in the place. For mediocre service and food, I won't brave this cash only place again. If you do, just bring $100 cash and make sure you aren't in a hurry.
google avatar

Anushree S.

Yelp
I went here on a Sunday morning with few of my friends. It was cold outside and so a cup of their warm apple cider was a treat! It was delicious. The service however is extremely slow. We waited 10-15 to get a seat, but close to an hour to get our food. They can definitely use extra hands over the weekends. It's a cash only place, but they do have an ATM inside.
google avatar

Liz R.

Yelp
Good food but overpriced. Cash only is greatest downfall! Although they cater to tourists they could at least show some or any appreciation for their customers. Made eye contact when I walked in but wasn't even greeted or acknowledged. Helped myself to a seat, grabbed my own menu from a wall pocket holder and finally asked if I was ready to order. I like it when a server says "hello" first. Maybe that's my Southern charm expectations, and I'm expecting too much by a common greeting. Ham and cheese sandwich had a good portion of ham and bread was good. Got the ice cream sampler for $8, since 1 scoop was $6 and two of us shared it. For a family, this little deli stop could get pricey quick.
google avatar

Sharad B.

Yelp
This place is awesome from turkey club sandwich to the ice creams that i ate everything was amazing. The maple syrup they served with sandwich was really delicious.

D B.

Yelp
Have always enjoyed breakfast at the Mountain Creamery over the years, but this visit was simply one to forget. The two female waitresses were nothing short of rude to myself, my sisters and my elderly parents. The food was not up to par as well. Perhaps the the ladies should pay more attention to the food coming out of their kitchen instead of belittling their customers. We won't be back.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Mountain Creamery is the kind of breakfast and lunch place you wish every town had. No one is likely to be intimidated by the offerings on the menu and there's nothing fancy on offer, but the food is good--some of it's very good. Try the maple sausage, roast beef or pulled pork, and you'll get meat straight from the owner's farm. Pies are baked on-premises. During the growing season, some of the vegetables come from the farm, too. Even the potato chips are top-quality and the breads rise above standard diner fare. There's seating upstairs and takeout downstairs. The Creamery makes their own ice cream, which, according to my niece who's tried every ice cream option in the Upper Valley, is the best. It's available for takeaway downstairs, as are sandwiches and soups. I'm a particular fan of the breakfasts, but often come for lunch. Did I mention that the wait staff is great? Friendly, every efficient, totally no bullshit. Final note: your credit cards aren't good here: cash only.

George W.

Yelp
Had breakfast there yesterday around 8:30 am. By 9 am, the place was packed. The food (breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, lox's, french toast - for a party of 4) was very good & tasty. The service was good considering that one of their waitresses was a no show. Kudos to the head waitress for running the show without breaking a sweat. There's an old fashioned vibe to this place similar to a good roadside diner.

It was like walking back into the 60's when you entered. I ordered the salad. I thought it would be a lunch sized, much smaller. They forgot the egg. Organic greens must have been because the dime sized spider was still crawling around. My husband and son ordered the gobbler. They were disappointed as well maybe 3 sprouts, 2 pieces of turkey and a smear of cranberry. Lunch was seriously overpriced as well.
