Very nice place, very friendly owner, somewhat limited selection on shoes, when I came in they owner was talking with the parents of the young man who ended up helping me. He searched around but we couldn't find any wide shoes. But lots of other things to get. Osprey dealer and that's really what I came there for but we bought several other things. The young man who helped me had his parents visiting but was all business when I came in the door. The owner had his dog in the store and he was playing ball and I joined right in. Just a nice vibe in the place. I did need to ask a few more questions about my bag, some that I learned on the first time on the trail. Adjustment and such but I believe they'll be able to help me and I intend to go back!! Not really sure what else to get but I also didn't feel like anybody was pushing to make a sale. In fact I almost wanted to say I wonder why they're not trying a little harder to sell.... ....... but, honestly, that was not a bad observation, In fact was really good. As I said I'll be back!! And not in a Terminator way! In a satisfied customer kind of way! I would recommend them and my son is out there several times previously and recommended them to me. The osprey bag is the one my sweet doggie who went on the 10 mi plus hike with me insisted on sitting on. A good ad for Osprey?!? Sorry no photos from the store, but maybe the next time!!

Such a great place! The staff and owners are very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The location is relaxing, and smells so good inside. It really does give you that sense of the outdoors and home combined. When it comes to being outdoors, especially if you like going often, you have to go with good equipment. Cheap things break, and your experience gets ruined simply because of the fact that your tent is a $30 one online or from a big retailer. Trust me, I’ve had that bad experience several times, and it can really be the reason to not wanting to go outdoors again, which is sad because being out there is a great escape from screens and the city. With cheap equipment poles break, tents leak, air isn’t blocked, etc. That being said, the store doesn’t sell low-quality equipment, because the owners truly know what I mentioned above: quality is important when you go camping, hiking, etc. Nonetheless, pricing is competitive, affordable, and good for the quality you receive. You’ll be satisfied with the hand-picked selection of items. This is the place for you to embrace a part of you that deserves a break, being outside with nature, and to do it with people who are friendly and can guide you in the right direction from experience. It’s the place to go when you are wanting to simply feel good!

Fantastic place! Really friendly and helpful staff, nice locale and some great brands! They have Howler Bros, Patagonia, Seager, Osprey, alot of great brands. The prices are good too! Highly recommended!

Mountain Highway is such a jewel of a store. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and always willing to provide true customer service. They excel at listening and providing solutions tailored to my specific needs--an important quality in today's fast-paced culture. I've appreciated that I can come in after having done my research and get the specific item I need, or come in with questions and talk to a member of staff to find the solution that fits best. The store is always fun to shop, it's kid-friendly (my kids love going) and clean. I highly recommend!

Best customer service I’ve ever had!! I bought my first pair of hiking boots and they helped me size, find socks, told me how to avoid blisters, gave me tips for hiking, and helped me with all the hiking “need to knows”. Amazing place. Can’t wait to go back.
