I love pizza, it's been my ride or die since childhood and I'm no pizza snob. I enjoy various pizzas including frozen, so when I heard of Mountain Mike's, I was honestly excited because I've grown tired of pizza hut and domino's.
I've ordered from Mike's now 3 times hoping it would blow me away, but it didn't. The first time I ordered a simple pepperoni with garlic baked extra well and it was definitely cooked well; the pepperoni tasted burnt and ruined the pizza so I wouldn't recommend getting it cooked longer, but I decided to give it another shot. Second try I ordered the McKinley which has pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, onions and diced tomatoes on thin crust and it was cooked perfectly and I liked how they cut the pizza into many pieces (it's annoying when a small pizza has large slices), but the taste was just ok. Third pizza was pepperoni again and it was thrown together, slices laying under slices, sloppily put together, but it tasted better. Overall, the pizza is average in taste. Their "legendary pepperoni "is great, perfectly crispy and had a slight spice, but didn't save any of the pizzas I ordered. The crust is nothing special, but it did hold up to the toppings.
As far as price, the pizza is kinda pricey especially the larger sizes, but I love the mini and small pizza options. I wouldn't order this pizza for delivery on their website, as they charge 10 dollars for delivery which is quite exorbitant, but they are on Uber eats which was much cheaper. I wouldn't rush back to mikes but it's not bad at all, but didn't meet my expectations unfortunately.
