"As far as hotels are concerned, Ghana has beautiful luxury hotels. Some of his favorites are the Movenpick and Villa Monticello."

We had two visits here while travelling in West Africa. Each time we found the service at this property excellent. The grounds and rooms are very pleasant. The club lounge offering is fantastic and at the same level as any top tier hotels; evening canape spread is generous and has a nice mix of drinks.||Special thanks to Moses down on concierge team, and Joshua in the club lounge - whose friendly service stood out for us.||We'd definitely come back to this hotel - it's one of the best in the region!

It was very disappointing to learn upon check in that the pool was not available due to planned renovations. The pool at Mövenpick was the number 1 reason why I chose the hotel for my 40th birthday trip to Ghana. An email from the hotel, in advance, alerting confirmed guests of the planned pool renovations would have been the courteous thing to do. Additionally the televisions in the rooms were awful. The worst picture quality I’ve ever seen for a 5 star hotel. I was also surprised to be charged for drinking one can of Coca Cola out of the mini fridge. I was staying in an executive suite that had access too the executive floor which had complementary sodas. You would think the beverages in the executive suites would also be complimentary then. In good news, Moses the front entrance attendant was the highlight of my stay at Movenpick. His genuinely welcoming energy was palpable and his smile electric. He was so kind with every interaction I had with him and always offered to carry a bag, open a door, and assist guests with anything they needed. Moses is the star of Movenpick!!! I also thoroughly enjoyed my breakfasts in the restaurant. Vivian made the most delicious omelettes and was also very kind and welcoming.

The Movenpick was a great home away from home in Accra. It was clean, well kept and all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed the service by the pool and at the bar. I felt at home and comfortable. Service is a bit slow but this seemed to be a trend across Ghana. I gave an 8 because I think the rooms could use a little extra emphasis. They were clean and accommodating but a bit bare minimum. Other than that - I felt like I had everything I needed while at Movenpick. I will most definitely stay here again!

My stay at Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra was wonderful. The food and beverage were delicious. The property and grounds were lovely and located in an excellent area of the city. The art throughout the hotel was breathtaking. ||Most importantly, each and every member of the staff there was an impeccable professional. The hospitality shown by the hotel manager and the entire group of his colleagues made my stay memorable and like a second home.||I strongly recommend.

Well maintained hotel. Hot water for showers inconsistent. Bar service inside hotel has prolonged waits, and missing mixology skills and knowledge. Buffet is plentiful with delicious desserts. Handmade burgers ordered from bar A+. Spa was great for massage and on time. Laundry services excellent and on time! Concierge service lacks knowledge of places of interest within walking distance of hotel (ie National Theather, Accra Musuem, eateries, entertainment, etc). Staff friendly courteous. Shout out to housekeeping member Bismarck A, who was most helpful. Pharmacy and gift shop availability on premises.Very busy hotel. Pool gets crowed fast and deck chairs get full.

All was ok. Except my client (celebrity Artist) we kept getting harassed due to miscommunication of room pymt. Andrew and Blessed were amazing and the 6th floor reception was amazing. The pool is gorgeous and the facility is clean. Rooms are standard but the suites are spacious

I would like to start by saying that I found my stay at your hotel very pleasant. It really is a beautiful and luxurious hotel, and the facilities are excellent. The employees are friendly and the boy on the roller skates works super hard. However, there are a few things that have somewhat overshadowed my experience, and I wanted to bring them to your attention. Firstly, I don't understand why young people are allowed to stay at the pool without paying for a towel. They lie there in their normal clothes and just hang around, which doesn't improve the atmosphere. This did not feel appropriate for the luxury and appearance that a five-star hotel should have. In addition, I have experienced several times that these young people were in the middle section of the ladies' toilets. This did not give me a pleasant feeling and I do not think it is appropriate for a hotel of this class. Finally, I would also like to report an incident where a group of young people chased girls, shouted and made whistling comments. This kind of behavior really cannot be tolerated, and I felt it was a shame that nothing was done about it immediately.

I had a wonderful stay at Movenpick Ambassador Accra. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, but what really made the experience special were the staff. A big thank you specifically to the Guest Relations Manager Samuel, as well as Felix, Benjamin and Kwame; for going above and beyond to assist during my stay, and offering exceptional service. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made my stay unforgettable.
