On a scale of 100, I would score this hotel 95%. In addition to the great hospitality we received throughout our stay here, we would like to very specially thank the Facility Manager, Naomi Nakuor Partey and Mohammed, who have gone far and beyond, to make our exit, and transition to the apartment we rented very smooth. Their professionalism is at a very high standard. Additionally, we are very grateful to Benjamin (executive lounge), who always ensure our time at the executive lounge restaurant was most enjoyable. Benjamin and Moses gave us the most memorable welcome, and every of our encounter with these two employees was met with great joy and respect. Thank you so much, Ben and Moses. We will alway be happy to come back.to Movenpick Ambassador hotels, Accra, Ghana. Thank you so much for the great hospitality. Sincerely, Bassey Ita & family.

My overall experience was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shops located there were great to have on-site. There were some things broken in my room which made me question the rate I paid. We also had difficulty getting additional clean towels when request. Besides that, I enjoyed my stay there.

It’s so happy for me to come back to this magnificent hotel again for second time in the capital city of Accra where I was born in hospital not far away from where I stay in there. Hotel staff are absolutely fantastic and lovely which they are always provided me with a great hospitality. Outdoor swimming pool is a very amazing and wonderful place for me to relax greatly in my wellbeing without any stress … I love all the fabulous bar staff there is my favourite people the same as superb restaurant staff too like big family to me. Enjoy a very phenomenal view of Accra from a lovely outdoor balcony on 6th floor of hotel that’s the best place for gorgeous sundown in evening. Very appreciated for staying in a very nicer bedroom with superb bathroom and brilliant facilities - clean and fresh. This perfect location is for good distance with visiting places in everything you can find it easier. This hotel is always safer, comfortable and more relaxed. Honestly I love this hotel so much because everyone has treated me so brilliant and wonderful.

The Staff here is amazing. Mary in the restaurant was super sweet! Isaac the Bellman was very helpful and kind. The 2 guys that do the egg omelet station were nice as well. Honestly everyone on staff was amazing during our stay. I don't think I ran into staff that had an attitude. The rooms were nice, I am short, so my only thing was it was hard to get into the tub b/c it's so high. Other than that, I would definitely return for another visit.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff is very friendly, their Customer service was excellent. The restaurant service was great. The omelettes were amazing and fresh juice very tasty. The pool area was relaxing and the hotel location was about 20 minutes from anywhere we went. We will definitely be back in the near future to visit Ghana and stay at The Movenpick.

We always thoroughly enjoy our time at Mövenpick Hotel Accra and make it a point to visit annually. While the facilities are generally very nice and the rooms could benefit from some updating, the service and staff are truly exceptional—and that is what keeps us coming back year after year. Dickson on the Executive Level is an absolute godsend. He is consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely willing to help, and he brings such a positive energy that makes every interaction a pleasure. The Executive Level food and service team—George, Nicholas, Felix, and Delight—are outstanding. They deliver top-notch service every single time, with professionalism, warmth, and care that never goes unnoticed. Moses in Guest Services is an absolute gem. He brings a level of warmth and sincerity that makes you feel more like family than a guest, and he truly elevates the overall guest experience. Michael, along with the rest of the bellhops and doormen, always provide a warm welcome and make an excellent first impression the moment you arrive. Breakfast at the Phoenix Restaurant is another highlight. Emmanuel A, Stella, Beverly, and the line cooks at the omelette station are absolutely delightful to engage with. They consistently offer an extremely high level of care and service—no small feat in a busy breakfast buffet setting. We also love the addition of the kids’ play area by the pool. It’s a thoughtful touch that has made our stays even more enjoyable. The pool and quiet zones are always relaxing, and as a multi-generational family that travels with younger children, this hotel truly offers the perfect balance—comfort, relaxation, and family-friendly spaces that cater to everyone’s needs. Mövenpick Accra continues to feel like a home away from home for us, largely because of the incredible people who work there. Their hospitality is second to none, and we look forward to returning again and again.

First let me say the executive lounge team gets a 5 star rating- they need this team to train the rest of the team on how to deliver quality service. If this team reflected the full hotel I’d come back but alas the rest of the hotel staff are quite disrespectful and not subtle in their nasty gazes. If you plan to spend all your time in the lounge come as George, David, and Nicholas are amazing. If you have to interact with anyone else do yourself a favor and go somewhere where they truly understand customer service. I left a long review on Trip Advisor about the room and other service - if you can call it that.

The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful, with amazing benefits like onsite dining and shopping options and even a nightly chocolate hour - the white chocolate pistachio is my favorite. What impressed me most was how personable the staff was. I was waited on by Sandra at the restaurant my first night and the next day in the lobby, she greeted me by name! The one challenge I had with the room temperature was promptly adressed. Even my shuttle driver, Mr Davis, was personable and treated me more like a neighbor than a guest. This is a large, spacious, luxury hotel with a home town feel. I highly recommend it!
