"The Dead Sea has deservedly become known as something of a spa destination, with visitors helping themselves to goopy masks of the local, mineral-rich mud for decades. For something slightly more luxurious, book an appointment at Zara Spa in the Mövenpick Resort. Done up in raw stone, elaborate tiles, and polished plaster, the five-star facility evokes the Jordanian desert combined with a Moroccan riad. It also boasts one of the widest range of treatments in the entire Middle East, plus expertly trained therapists to ease you into a truly relaxed state of mind. The traditional hammam is a particular delight, but be sure to also indulge in popular treatments like the black mud body wrap or the hot-and-cold-stone massage. When you book a service, you’ll also have access to the spa’s top-notch facilities, which include hydro, flotation, and infinity pools as well as a juice bar and state-of-the-art fitness center."

Staff is very nice and the lobby / reception area is beautiful. However spacious, the rooms are a bit dated and the restaurant choices are limited and crazy overpriced with small portion sizes. The breakfast on the other hand is bountiful and has a little bit of everything. I would not stay here again because there are better options around but I did enjoy my stay. P.S. The dead sea space is lovely and filled with salt rocks!

My visit to the spa was absolutely wonderful! Emma was incredible—her massage was relaxing and expertly done. She’s not only skilled but also so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending her to others

My husband and I loved our time here. The experience of covering each other in mud from the Dead Sea and floating in it for the first time was so much fun! And our skin felt baby soft for days. Zara Spa is a treat! If you purchase a treatment you can enjoy the spa all day. The steam room is especially nice, and I imagine the infinity pool would be lovely in warmer weather. I received an excellent deep tissue massage from Sameer…. Started with a half hour, and was so happy with his skill that I turned right seeing and booked another hour with him later that day. Enjoy this lovely place! So close to the baptism site on Jordan River!

I had the pleasure of staying at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea for one night, and it was an unforgettable experience. As my flight was scheduled for the evening, I decided to take a treatment at the renowned Zara Spa, allowing me to enjoy the hotel’s facilities for the rest of the day. This turned out to be one of the best decisions I made during my trip. The service at Zara Spa was outstanding, with Sameer ensuring I felt pampered and well cared for throughout my treatment. His attention to detail and professionalism truly elevated my experience. The room was beautifully appointed, offering a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind. The food at the hotel was also top-notch, with a variety of delicious options that suited all tastes. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic, and I would rate the experience 10/10. The combination of excellent service, beautiful facilities, and a prime location by the Dead Sea made this a memorable and rejuvenating stay. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to relax and indulge in luxury

it was an amazing experience. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and polite. There are golf carts to take you to the beach and to the sea then back. There were several swimming pools some of them are heated. The food was amazing . The spa is a must with profissional message and access to special indoor and outdoor pools for the spa guests. i like the most the heated pool with dead sea water.

We were impressed by the architecture and outdoor areas of the hotel. The hotel is really big and you can find many services inside; hence you may need to walk quite a bit from place to place, and there are also golf carts going around to carry guests. We got upgraded and our room was also really spacious. Service was overall very good and friendly, but sometimes felt a bit stiff/unnecessarily formal. Breakfast food quality and options were amazing and the breakfast area is also really nice. We loved the outdoor patio where several restaurants are located, where you can have shisha, food or drinks while enjoying an evening show and sitting next to 2000 year old olive trees. The different pools were also really nice (downsides are the closing times and we encountered lots of flies during our visit in November, apparently common before the first rains arrive) and so was the private beach, with convenient access to the Dead Sea.

Thanks to the housekeeping supervisor Hussein Al-Balawneh This work gives me the motivation to come back to you. Dealing with you is very wonderful. All thanks and respect to you

Our room was lovely and very clean, but it definitely showed some signs of wear and tear - especially in the bathroom (grouting, etc.). The grounds and facilities were so pretty to walk around - especially at night. The 'golden hour' of sunset over the Dead Sea is not to be missed! The food was quite good but not really memorable or creative which makes sense because resorts have to appeal to the broadest array of palettes. The standout is the spa which was one of the nicest I've been in and is clearly very well run with excellent staff. We had glorious hammam and massages from Silvia and Marvelle. They were two of the best massage therapists we've experienced! If we lived closer, we'd be their regular clients. Thank you as well to Adel! While we were getting our massages there was a very loud wedding at the hotel next door. The therapists kept apologizing for the noise, but honestly the live music was so good that we even sat outside afterwards to keep on listening and I'm sad that I'll never know the name of the band to hear them again.
