I’ve been enjoying movies here since it opened, and went tonight expecting the usual experience - dinner and a movie. About 35 min after ordering, we were still waiting for our 2 waters and a coke, but two meals for our party of 3 were delivered. Another 20 min passed before our waters and coke were delivered and that only happened after my husband went to ask. About an hour into the movie, we were still missing one of the meals we ordered. Another 20 min went by and still no food so my husband left the movie again to check. We already tried pressing the button and talking to the servers, and while they were nice and kept saying the kitchen was backed up, the meal still hadn’t been delivered. My husband notice that a meal that may have been mine was sitting on a shelf and had been since the first time he came down to check on drinks after the first two meals were delivered. Finally, about 1.15 minutes into the movie a server brought my food, but it was ice cold and they also forgot silverware. I sent it back since it was so cold and asked them to bring out a fresh meal. That didn’t happen. They gave us our check and took off the charge for the meal that never came, but didn’t offer anything else. Considering the theater is marketed as a dinner and a movie experience and my husband missed a lot of the movie checking on the food, my expectation was that management would have done more. Before leaving we talked to the manager who refunded the price for the coke and one other meal, but they didn’t offer complementary tickets or anything else. Others in the theater had similar experiences. The couple next to us went to the bar to order smores popcorn because the service was so slow in the theater, that took about 15 min, then they realized it wasn’t the right popcorn and had to speak to a server mid-movie to complain. As my husband was waiting to talk to the manager another couple was given a bill but didn’t receive any of the food they ordered. When we were leaving, several people were still waiting in the theater for their bills. Several others were complaining to the servers, I presume about similar issues. So not only did I never get to eat, my husband had to miss large parts of the movie and none of us (and others in the theater) could really enjoy the movie with all the chaos in the theater. Now it’s 10:30 pm, and I’m having to cook dinner. Unless something changes to improve the service, I don’t recommend going if you expect food and drinks while you watch the movie.
