Moviehouse & Eatery by Cinépolis SW Austin

Comfortable seats and the service was fine. Both servers were friendly and attentive. However, at times it felt quite warm for a movie theater, which affected the overall experience. Also, the popcorn did not seem freshly made. The kernels were very small and it felt like they were from the bottom of the batch. They should pay closer attention to these details, especially the quality of the food and the temperature inside the theater, since they are an important part of the customer experience.

I love my experience at Moviehouse & Eatery. I still enjoy getting out of the house and going to the theatres when I can. And this place does not disappoint! First, the seats are beyond comfortable. Secondly, the service is amazing. They also deliver food and drinks directly to your seat. The bar is fully stocked with plenty of options. The food menu is robust. It’s always a great experience when I am there!

Visited during winter break with my family and had a great experience. This dine-in theater is comfortable, clean, and very modern. I’ve been to several similar locations, but this one truly stands out it feels newer, better maintained, and overall more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was solid, and the drink menu offered a nice variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. Highly recommend for a relaxed and enjoyable movie night with family.

Went yesterday for the first time. We used the self serve kiosk to get our tickets but they dont print. We ask the girl to help and she was super sweet but she didn't know what to do. She essentially said, your reciept should be good enough. We sat down and another couple accused us of taking their seats. They were put somewhere else but I felt really bad for them. The service was extremely slow. We got there right when they opened the doors and our food didnt arrive until 20 minutes into the move and we still hadnt gotten our drinks. We waited 15 to 20 minutes for anything we asked for. No one ever came to bus the tables ever. Final order never came, but they had no problem charging us as if it had. We went to the front to ask the manager and she really didn't seem concerned with our bad our experience was. We noticed that our drinks that we never got were just sitting at the bar. The server comes and says soemthing along the lines of oh here are your drinks you can grab them or we can just remove them from your tab... we were like uh we already asked to get them removed because we never got them to which she replied well ya theyre right here. Like what good is that after the movie when we're out. The restrooms were dirty and the theater itself is pretty worn down. We drove 40 minutes to try it out. We never got our order added to our loyalty account and was disappointed in the experience. Hopefully the other location is better

Horrible experience overall, will never, ever go back. Theater itself was dirty, the headrests on the chairs were cracked and looked gross and the little tables still had crumbs on them (which should have been our first sign to leave). Order placed before the movie started and it took about half an hour to get soda, popcorn, and a quesadilla. When the popcorn arrived it was cold and stale. The most horrifying and disgusting part was we pulled a rag from the bottom of the bowl. We spoke to the Service Manager who clearly didn’t know what to do, but he was apologetic and we left with a full refund.

Covered parking. Perfect location for dinner at La Popular then a movie at the Moviehouse. :) Has service at the tables and electric reclining lounge chairs. I’m not sure the trick to getting service. I did an impromptu ticket purchase right after dinner and walked in 10 minutes after the start….which was still during commercials. Servers were still serving but I’m not sure if they don’t serve if you’re not there before the showtime. They have popcorn with coconut oil. That’s pretty awesome. Lots of spacing with some of the rows. Still a great view from the last row. Nice staff. Thank you!

Moviehouse is about as good as you can get for a movie theater (Outside of Alamo Drafthouse). Great service, easy options for buying tickets, great location, super clean always. Not my first choice for a movie theater but definitely my second choice. Will return again soon! - We saw Black Bag - 3.5 stars

Staff was nice, but food was way below par. Even a simple popcorn took roughly 45 minutes, and that was with me getting there before the movie started so I'd have time to order. Also, everything, and I mean everything, was cold. Popcorn, chicken tenders/fries...all cold. Not warm, cold. Like it'd been sitting in the window for 30 minutes waiting for a server to bring it to me. Also, just a side note, but their prices are getting a little crazy. $9 for a fountain drink? $17 for chicken tenders and fries?

My go-to theater. It's super quiet and escapes the crowds seen on weekends in places like Alamo Drafthouse (no hate to AD, just another alternative is all). You eat and dine. Great menu options, although limited in desserts, the main menu was great. I love how they lobster and you can customize it to make a rice bowl---yum! The place is clean and not as crowded. A perfect alternative to the other busier theaters. I want to gatekeep but I also want them to get the business they deserve, lol.

Positives: The seats were nice and cozy. The popcorn and pizza were good. The tai chili bowl was excellent. The staff were nice and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. Critiques: I ordered calamari and it wasn't very good and they were super tiny. The pretzels and queso were okay. I wouldn't order either again. The theater was quite warm.

A strange experience. Do NOT expect Alamo Drafthouse service/reliability. First, we've never been here and no one explained how to get the server's attn (button between/below seats). He ignored our hopeful looks and gestures. We observed others and figured out how to summon him. Next, two of the things we wanted from the menu were "out". Then, third item (an N/A cocktail), they "no longer make"'(Altho still on menu). Ok. We navigated and adapted the order. Movie begins. We receive our beverages, but no food. Ever. Throughout the ~3 hours of Dune 2. We had just worked out before the film and were starving, but just hung in there, to avoid disturbing others. Afterwards, we notified staff. Had to answer a whole lotta questions before getting our card refunded. I felt distrusted. I was queried abt the meal remains on the table over from me. A meat burger. (I'm a vegetarian and had ordered the Beyond Burger.) But maybe that's just what had to happen to figure out if it was issue in the computer system. They still made us pay for the Lemonade & beer that we *did* receive. I was JUST poised to leave a one-star review right there, when the manager gave us two future passes, popcorn tickets, and apologized. For this reason and the good picture/sound quality, I'm leaving 3 stars. Note: server was out it. Even tried to deny we ordered. Bad staff is likely the reason this location has 3.5 stars vs the north location which has 4.5.

Great place to watch a movie and get some good eats. Many of the back and center seats are pretty worn down. But ones of the side and closer to the front are in better condition. The food is always pretty good. A little pricey, but yummy.

Movie theater is new. Food is horrible. It was cold and it's obviously frozen. Service is deplorable. For the price I expect better. I will stick to Alamo House.

**Updated Review** This movie theater is close to home and a local favorite. The seats are comfy and in good shape but what draws me here most is the Tuesday special. Movie tickets are discounted (around $6) as are some food/drink menu items. I love the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks and Mango'Rita. I've seen multiple movies here with friends and each experience has been pleasant. Food/drink orders are done promptly and if you need a follow-up service, just press the button on your seat. Don't let the negative reviews dissuade you. If you're in the mood to unwind by watching a movie and enjoying small bites/drinks, then this is the place for you - I do recommend.

Food service was completely unacceptable the last two times we went to the Moviehouse on Southwest parkway. When we went last week for Dune 2, we arrived before the lights went down and placed our orders immediately. The food for my wife and daughter came out in about 20 minutes, but it took asking several times over the next hour to finally receive my food over 90 minutes later. Then they quickly brought the bill and had charged me twice for my food. I immediately went to the manager and they removed the extra charge, but the time it took meant that I missed most of the end of the movie. I was surprised they didn't comp more of the meal than their obvious mistake. We're done with begging to get our food and being overcharged by this place, so it's unlikely we will return after these bad experiences.

Just went to the location in SW Austin one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The wait staff was the rudest we have ever encountered. Food was disgusting and cold. Took 45 minutes to get soft drinks out. We do not recommend this location

I've been meaning to get to this theater for a long time and finally made it today. Very nice staff and the recliners are great. The movie and sound quality were excellent. I ordered the Avocado Cesar Salad with Lobster. That was pretty disappointing though. Salad isn't something I'd generally order here but since I wasn't that hungry, I thought a salad would do it. Whatever type of dressing they had was tasteless. There seemed to be a lot of powdered cheese on it and it didn't help. Lastly, I think I might have tasted a tiny piece of lobster, but I'm not sure. For $18, it's something I won't order here again.

A really lovely moviegoing experience. Plenty of easy parking, lots of food options. We typically go to weekend matinees and get lunch or a snack. The food (IMO) is more interesting and better than that other movie theaters. It's not a bargain, but still a nice occassional treat! The service tends to be attentive just before the movie starts, then hit and miss during the show (you have to press the button and hope someone responds?) Seats are comfortable, theaters aren't usually packed, and the audio quality is good.

Service has become terrible here. Ordered pizza yesterday and after an hour asked the waiter where they were and they still never came. Then we had to have them take it off the bill.

Watching movies in theater is always a pleasure. This was our first visit to Moviehouse & Eatery as a Loyalty member. Previous visits were pleasant; we were excited to learn about the program, and be rewarded for something we enjoy! After our extremely disappointing and frustrating experience today (April 2023), not sure if we'll ever return. If you are debating on whether to go out of your way to Moviehouse & Eatery, consider another business that will value customers and provide the expected level of hospitality we all appreciate when paying a premium for additional service. Now the reasons why we're rating this a 1 star experience: Prior to Movie After signing up for the Loyalty program, we attempted to purchase tickets online. Tried various cards and received the same message "unexpected error, card declined." We called to purchase via phone and while they couldn't apply to the purchase to the loyalty number, they said to check in with guest services after we arrive and it could be applied at that time. We arrived and waited 15 minutes flagging down multiple employees who were not aware of the loyalty program, shrugged off the request of needing help and walked away. During the movie Once seated (with no resolution) we pressed the button to request drink and food service. We saw staff delivering food and beverages, but actively avoiding our row. Only AFTER the movie started (after waiting through all the previews) did our server approach us to take our order. After the movie We tried one more time to get our loyalty points applied. The guest services rep (Robert) was able to refund our tickets, repurchase them and get the movie ticket spend applied. However could not apply any food or beverage spend to the loyalty account. Moviehouse & Eatery - your loyalty program, online POS, staff and guest services department all have room for improvement.

This was my first visit to this theater. Based on the positive food reviews, I think I was expecting too much. I would not recommend the Caesar Salad. It was mostly the hard white center pieces with hardly any green leaves, no flavor, not enough dressing and scant avocado and croutons. The add-on shrimp was disappointing, too. The charge was $19.49 although the price on the menu was $14 base salad plus $4 for the added protein. I don't know how that added up to more than $18, but it did. It took forever for my cocktail to be delivered and our food came out piecemeal. The reclining chair had only one button and in the fully upright position, the chair was very uncomfortable. It also had crumbs on it which I had to wipe off and disinfect on my own. For a relatively newish location, I'd say less than 5 years, the restrooms showed lots of wear with almost dysfunctional towel dispensers and inferior water faucets. I will not return to this theater and have had much better experiences at other local theaters.

It's really bad. The past 2 times I've gone to this Moviehouse they have severely messed up the whole "Eatery" part. Tonight I went to see the Barbie movie with a group of girlfriends. We all had separate orders, and I actually saw the waiter put in my order, however I never got my food. In fact, we didn't get our drinks until at least 30 minutes into the movie, and my friend next to me never got her soda. The last time I went to this location, I was with a friend and we wanted to pay separately. The waiter took my friend's card and said he just needed to have one on file and he would split it at the end. But at the end of the movie, they had just put it all on my friend's card and we had to stay after the movie about 20 minutes to try to get it fixed. They told him it would be a few days before the money would be back on his card. They gave us new receipts, which were still incorrect. They didn't give me the happy hour price on my drink and they charged me twice for my meal. So then we had to stay longer to get that fixed. And we were not the only people who were standing around afterwards to get our receipts corrected. As far as the food, I did have the fish and chips the last time I was there. They came out tasting undercooked, like the inside part of the fried portion was soggy, so I sent them back, but the replacement was the same. So I just pulled off the nasty parts. The pretzel sticks are kind of like Olive Garden breadstick consistency, not very pretzel-like at all . The best part about them is the queso to dip in. I would tell you how the pizzas are but I never got the one I ordered tonight. Oh and a soda is $7.50. I've been here other times in years past without issue, so it has to be a staff training problem that needs to be fixed. I have no plans of returning as there are other much better options in town of theaters that have full menus of food to order from while you enjoy the movie.

Pleasantly surprised at the Ancho Chicken tacos. Cold clean theatre. Can't beat the spot on a hot day. Drink specials and simple text ordering.

This is a great spot to watch a film. The seats are extremely comfortable, and spaced out. The food is surprisingly good, although I wish there were more dessert options. The services generally very good too. I would recommend getting tickets early as the seating can be limited, especially for new/popular films.

One waiter running around like chicken with his head cut-off a waitress that was moving in slow motion. Pizza was more than cold remade after 30 mins. paid $9 for a coke with no refills etc. it was not a pleasant experience and will be going to the one on 620 next time. If they can't handle 6 ppl. in a theater then I'm not giving them a second chance to take another $60.

I'm a diehard Alamo fan but my friend invited me to check out Moviehouse & Eatery, between the two it stacks quite well in terms of character and charm. Granted my first experience was very unique, because...we were the only ones in the theater, so I'll be writing from that perspective. Atmosphere: A bit more upper scale than most theaters, had a bit of a jazzy old timey vibe. Food: I came on a Tuesday where I believe they had specials for certain foods. Nothing stood out as insanely good, but definitely was filling and for a good price to share between friends. I recommend to try the nachos and cookies. Service: Similar service to the Alamo drafthouse, where you put up an order card and the server comes, takes you card and helps with any issues. Friendly enough. So at the core the Moviehouse is a fine venture to go for a movie outing as well as to eat in comfort. If I were in the area or a friend invites me out I would gladly return to enjoy.

Never received my food or drink an hour and half into the movie. Canceled my order and then was still charged for the drink that I never received. Check your bills and expect a wait. Very disappointed in my experience. Hope you all have a better one!

Went back last night as they had the only available time to see Wonka. Just overall disappointed again with the service we ordered bottomless drinks and only received one refill of a tiny cup (felt like less then 16oz.) and the majority of the drink was ice. Please set higher standards for your theater, this place has some amazing potential with the large screens and comfortable seats! :(

The food I ordered was wrong and cold so I sent it back. 20 minutes later someone brought me the exact same food. I missed the first hour because I had to talk to multiple waiters. My party was done eating before I every got food. We arrived 15 minutes early but it took 30 minutes just to get drinks. Then they messed up the check so we had to hang around to get it fixed. Despite the bad experience we still gave our waiter Caleb a nice tip for his efforts in trying to help us. We sat in theater 2 for the first time and it was in really bad shape. My chair was not working properly and the the other chairs and tables looked terrible. I just can't understand why the managers have let this place turn into a dump. The bathrooms never have towels or soap and the black slime in the sink is gross.

I love Moviehouse Eatery over the others (sorry Drafthouse)! I enjoy the Firecracker wings and love the Hennessy Slush drink. The only thing I dislike is when I book early movies around 11ish when ordering they have nothing available or ready. I ordered some Firecracker wings and was disappointed a bit when they were just wings and sauce on top. Not how they were served the previous times at the theatre. Overall, I still like coming here. I just will not book morning movies. Afternoon and nights are great!!

The auditorium was still dirty. There was popcorn on the floor and seats. The table trays and seats are peeling. Service was good/popcorn good.

This place went to hell when they changed companies. The menu is not as good as before and the food is prepared poorly. I used to enjoy coming here to eat and watch a show. It was previously the best food you could get at a theater in Austin. Now, it's disappointing. Cold soggy tater tots and a burned burger. I'll catch a McDonald's on the way home for 1/4 the price and better prepared food. The hustling staff get a star, though.

So well run. The theater is clean and very comfortable. The staff is amazing and the food was very good. Not your typical theater fare, but restaurant quality. Nice convenient well lit parking right at the door or around the corner.

Don't come here often but I'm still going with 3 stars. Enjoyed Top Gun. Theater is convenient and comfortable. Food is meh. Drinks are okay (to manage expectations that means watered down and overpriced). Service is meh.

Went here for a little date night, sat at the bar to grab a drink first. Well our toddler had other plans, and it seemed like we would have to bail. Robert the Manager refunded our tickets like it was no big deal. Violetta at the bar took good care of us while we grappled with our decision to skip the 3 hr. Wakanda Forever, and really made our cancelled date night fun for 20 minutes. Didn't catch a movie, but the people here are tops.

Very disappointing on all levels. Went to see Oppenheimer on August 1st. Sound went out 30 min into the show. The movie continued to play for 20+ more minutes without sound. No managers present. No communication with the audience. When sound finally returned the movie continued to play until the audience started shouting out, "What's up." Eventually they restarted the movie from the very beginning. Meanwhile the servers simply disappeared. Had to go to the kitchen to fetch my own food. Server never approach us again; we never got a drink refill. Just a horrible experience all around. Don't waste your time or money with this Alamo want-to-be.

Absolutely awful service. Decent seats but if you want to eat go to Alamo. We tried to enjoy ourselves here twice and both times waiters forgot parts of our order. Finally the second time I went out ld the theatre to find the server wondering around the hallway with our food. Never coming back, it's not cheap either. Happy Alamo is close by.

Absolutely horrible experience. Movie started at 2pm, sat at 1:30pm. Ordered drinks at 1:40pm. By 2:15pm didn't have drinks despite being the first ones there and first ones to order. Got up and asked for the status of our drinks, was told they're on their way. By 2:30 got the drinks....I'll let y'all do the math on time. Ordered popcorn at 2:30....3pm nothing. Got up and asked for status because no one came to the seat after pressing the button. Was told kitchen was backed up. Was brought popcorn 30min before movie ended and was still charged. Insane. Save yourself the money....

Absolutely loved this place! Never been anywhere like this. Great Movie, reclining seats! Waiters come to you to order as you like. They even come when you push the button for a drink refill! Felt like a princess! I will be back!

Food really went down hill after it got bought by Cinepolous. It's also become ridiculously expensive. $18 for a mediocre burger and $11 small wine. At least offer me something worth the $$$. I'll just eat at a restaurant before my movie in the future. Decent theater and seats though. Just price and quality don't match

Movie didn't start on time. The food quality was something you'd expect from a bowling alley or arcade room from the retro days. Frozen, fried, & put together. Not bottomless soda and popcorn unless you go find the person who took your order, during the movie that is. Love the location but i'll stay with Alamo if I'm looking for a movie theater which serves food. Avatar II was great!

$5 mimosas and Bloody Mary on Sunday before 3pm. Spicy Chicken sandwich and fries were excellent. Spacious comfortable seating. Excellent service. Perfect temperature and audio. Can't wait to go back.

I really hate to do this but the last few times I have been to this location I have been extremely disappointed. The service just doesn't feel like it used to, drinks take forever to come out (if your refill makes it out) and the food is just not up to snuff for the price tag that comes with it. Below are my last few experiences: June 5th Guardians Volume 3 - Food came out before drinks, when our beers eventually came out they were flat with no head. June 26th Asteroid City - Waited 40 minutes for drinks initially, when asked if we could have another water it took 3 more presses of the button for this to come out and by that point, the movie had 10 minutes left. June 28th The Flash: This was one of the few times where items came out at a relatively okay pace and the food was okay, but food still came out 5 minutes before drinks. July 25 Mission Impossible: Initial server was really great but was not present again until I had to come out and talk about the bill. Our drinks took ages to come out (we were there for the theatre opened yet didn't get our beers until the trailers started to play). Our food came out stone cold and when remade the food was still cold, we didn't press the button again because we were honestly so fed up. The remade items were still on our bill at the time of check drops, and I had to actually ask a runner to find our server as no one was present. I understand that this was probably a hectic night with Barbenheimer, but this experience really sucked, especially since I brought a family member who had expressed not enjoying Moviehouse that much. I hate leaving bad reviews, especially when it's a place that I love, but I really hope that someone sees this and makes changes in the back of house so that this location can get to the level of service that I always loved MovieHouse for over Alamo.

Horrendous service. I took my fiancé to see asteroid city tonight for the 7pm showing for our anniversary. I ordered a coffee and she ordered a drink. When my coffee came the server gave me a French press and an empty cup. When I pressed down on the French press, ground coffee beans and boiling water spit out of it burning me and staining my pants. The sever poured the water to the very top, which caused the accident to occur. The server obviously isn't trained well by her manager and leadership team on how to serve the items on their menu and after enough complaining I was finally given a full refund for the drinks and movie. The manager even tried to blame it on my for "pouring it on myself" when all I did was press the handle down on a leveled frayed as you're supposed to and the water shot out as it's not supposed to. They are untrained here and don't really care. The manager doesn't actually listen to anyone but his own voice, and took a couple attempts of explaining the simple situation (slowly for him too) for him to comprehend it. But shout out to the teenage guy at the front desk with the dope gothic ring on. He was chill, the one star is for you bud. Ps. Why are you serving coffee out of a French press? Especially if you don't even teach your staff how to set it up.

Theater is intimate and location is a bit further out. Clean and met expectations. Food is sub par, but if the movie and location matches your schedule, it will do the job.

I usually love Moviehouse but had a terrible experience there last night. Went to see Thor at the 6p show, theater 9. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, fish and chips and a hamburger. I was in the Cinepolis app and saw that I had a half price appetizer with the purchase of an entree as part of the loyalty rewards so I showed our server and he said okay. Our drinks came out no problem. But the food is another story. After about 30 minutes, we hadn't seen anything but most of the people around us had been getting their food. We turned on the light and a server came out. Looked at our order and said it was on hold. We didn't place any hold so he released it and about 10 minutes later our app showed. Another 15 minutes my burger showed up but the fish and chips were MIA. So we put the light on again. The server said that is was already delivered but clearly we didn't have it. So he put the order in again. Fish finally came out more than an hour after we ordered but we had it so good. So at the end of the movie, they dropped off the check. They double billed us for the missing fish and chips and no 1/2 price appetizer so we called them over again. The server went back and took off the fish and chips but said their location couldn't honor the 1/2 price app, which is bogus as I have redeemed a different feature before. I included the screen grab of my award. It would have been simple to just remove the app since we had already had so much trouble and we would have at least been satisfied but now I am aggravated at the poor customer service. I expect more. I know it is hard to get staff, I get it. But at least teach the staff you do have how to take care of the clients so we don't have to write unhappy reviews.

Really need to get it together on both the food and drink front. The drinks that are supposed to be cold like beer and milkshakes are warm! Yes a warm milkshake. The food that is supposed to be warm or hot is lukewarm at best. This is the third attempt I've made hoping for a decent experience and at $150 for three to attend I won't be going back. Gross!

After 3 recent visits over the last month or so, I have to upgrade their food rating. I am happy to say that it is a solid 4 stars at this time! Cleanliness and service are still 5 stars and comfort is the best compared to the others in this arena. It is officially my favorite movie theater in Austin!!

The Moviehouse and Eatery in Southwest Austin used to be our absolute favorite place to enjoy movies and meals. The seats were comfortable and clean, the theater was always clean, and the staff was usually very helpful and efficient. For some reason, the theater and food quality have really declined in the past several months. My go-to order has always been the cheeseburger - it was always cooked perfectly, and the beef was high quality. The last two times I've ordered it, it has been very disappointing. I believe that in an effort to decrease costs, they have lowered the standard for their food they serve. My husband ordered chicken strips and said they tasted like fast food fare, but at triple the cost . Our guest's meal was served cold, so it was replaced, but we were billed for the replacement, which required time after the movie to remedy the billing error. In addition to food issues, some of the seats are damaged to the point of being unusable, yet are still available for purchase. I am really disappointed in the way this theater has changed, and will no longer be a loyal customer.

I wanna start off by saying not a lot bothers me and I always tip well/am very understanding to service industry. I also don't write reviews much but this needs to be addressed. This is the third time I've gone and it takes either an hour and a half (yup I timed it) or I haven't received my beer at all. Multiple button pushes, talking to multiple people to kindly ask for my order. They sure aren't late bringing that check though. At this point, I'd rather pay mor at alamo bc I at least know I will be able to enjoy my food/drink.

This place is so short on staff. Last night after pushing the button to ask about my drink and my kid's gummy bears I was told that the bartender had just quit and they were out of gummy bears. However, all the stars for Jair who was out there facing down a Barbie-sized audience of unsatisfied customers. He was polite and unruffled under circumstances that weren't his fault.

Good theater. Nice loungers. Fast food service. Great parking. Timely movies. Decent movie food.

We recently went to Tom Gun Maverick with our entire family. As usual, the theater was clean and comfortable. We arrived a few minutes before the movie started. Our server visited right before the movie started, but did not come back for quite some time. We actually had to ask another server to come back for our order. This service was quite a surprise based on our past visits. It was a Tues, so perhaps the issue was poor staffing levels. We will be back for another move soon, but wanted to put this out there for management's review. I hope we will not see a repeat of this in the future at Lantana...

Just sat through the 4th Moviehouse add encouraging people to come 30 minutes early to order and enjoy food and drinks. Five minutes before showtime they are just now picking up from the prior show.

First post pandemic no mask movie experience. This location is best movie watching experience in ATX. Always clean, good service, better than it has to be food. On this trip I ordered a soft drink and when my daughter warned me after it was $6.50 (albeit bottomless) I kindly asked to return it when the waiter brought it out. He obliged no problem.

When a place can make an old fashion this good it should be a top spot for anyone... add to that it is a movie theater, with lazy boy recliners, a full menu, in theater service, and a full bar... honestly it is surprising people ever leave here! What a fantastic place to watch a movie!! This location even has covered parking right across from the building. The theater is top notch... strike that... they are several notches above top notch! The perfect movie going experience! There is no place I'd rather watch a movie at. The whole location is clean, extremely well kept and everyone we encountered was very pleasant. What a place to enjoy a movie!

This theater is so comfy. I love the reclining seats! Upon sitting I was so excited my chair went all the way back I was contemplating getting rid of my season pass at Alamo. However, the service failed to deliver. Our server came to us at the beginning and was very friendly. We ordered right then and got our food at a normal wait time. Unfortunately that was the extent of it. When the food was delivered my boyfriend requested a soda refill. Then after digging into my sandwich I realized it was dry so I pressed the service call button. We waited at least ten minutes for a server and I ordered a sauce and two drinks (second time ordering his refill). 20 or so min later my sandwich is cold and a manager comes with my sauce. Still no soda - we order them again. You won't believe it but we ended up ordering those sodas four times. My sandwich was ok and the popcorn just ok. Unfortunately my excitement for this theater wore off almost as soon as it started...

I went to the Barbie movie tonight and the 1st three rows received zero service. Not one employee came the entire movie. However, everyone else in the rows behind us were served. It was incredibly bazaar. Of course people were getting up and going to inquire or complain and nothing was done. As we walked out totally perplexed they gave us free movies passes that expired in March. So NOTHING was rectified. Very disappointing.
