I love this place🤩. You can play board games with friends and then have some food. The food is pretty good and the prices are reasonable. 🍗There is a wide selection of board games you can borrow from the counter, and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that parking is difficult because there are not many spaces.🥺

The Mox is a nice restaurant that seems like a bar and it directly ties to the board game store next-door. Great concept of playing games while you eat. You get 15% off a game if you play it at the table and purchase it. Note that the 15% off is only on games you actually play at the table. Not games you might want to buy. We ordered the Reuben, which was fantastic! It was one of the best I had. The hot chicken sandwich was just OK and the kids meals were pretty good. We ordered the quesadillas and the buttered noodles. The sweet potato fries were excellent too. They have a mix of beer, wine, and cocktails. Over all the place is really nice and clean and the service was pretty good.

Love the atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Bathrooms clean and well stocked with tp, soap, and paper towels. Food is all made fresh (no frozen chicken strips or fish fingers here) and it shows. Drinks were also great.

Dear Mox Bellevue Team, I wanted to share some feedback following our recent visit for my daughter’s birthday celebration. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere — everything was great in that regard. However, I feel it’s important to mention a disappointing interaction with one of the servers so it can be addressed appropriately. One of your staff members, a man with a beard and long dark hair, was noticeably rude to the kids at the table. The group was made up of teenagers, the oldest being 18. During service, he tossed the food onto the table and spoke to them in an aggressive tone, telling them they hadn’t said “please” or “thank you,” even though the kids insist they had. When they tried to apologize, saying they were sorry, he interrupted them and said, “I don’t think you are,” before walking away. As a parent, I was quite uncomfortable with the way my daughter and her friends were spoken to. It’s understandable that staff expect courtesy, but this situation could have been handled with much more professionalism and kindness — especially given that it was a group of young guests celebrating a special occasion. It honestly pains me to leave a one-star review, as the food and ambiance were very good, but the interaction described above unfortunately tarnished the entire experience. I’m sharing this not to complain, but to make sure it’s brought to your attention. We truly like your restaurant and hope to continue visiting, but I’d appreciate knowing that interactions like this aren’t reflective of your usual standard of service. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope it helps ensure future experiences are positive for everyone.

Mox is one of my most favorite places to hang out with friends. They have an extensive collection of board games that you can play and also buy later if you're interested. The place gets pretty busy on Fridays and weekends, especially in the evenings. So plan accordingly. They also have enough seating and vegetarian options to choose from in the food. We tried the sweet potato fries and the green goddess hummus. Both were delicious. But the sweet potato fries absolutely stood out. We're a regular here, so will definitely be back for more!

Came here while on vacation on the recommendation of a local. This place is separated into a game store and a restaurant with large tables customers can game at. I purchased a couple of small games and a cute TTRPG booklet in the store, then went next door and enjoyed dessert with a friend. Food prices for dessert were high, but the art deco decor was impeccable and reading my new TTRPG book while people played games at a nearby table was a fun vibe. My friend came back from the restroom and said he saw some people go through a secret passage in a bookcase, and he was delighted by it. Hands down the swankiest game store I've ever seen!

Came here on a Thursday night with friends for their birthday and this place is AMAZING!! The service and food were excellent, we were able to game throughout ordering and eating our meals. There are tons of games to choose from and check out from the store before being seated. This made my inner child girl gamer squeal with delight. I wish I lived close enough to be here multiple nights a week!! We need one of these in Auburn or Federal Way pleeease! 😁🥰 The interior was absolutely gorgeous, what a treat! We had so much fun! Thank you Mox!! ❤️

Pretty disappointed that Mox isn’t selling Pokemon for retail like they used to. Not sure if it’s the distributors marking up prices or Mox. But kinda sucks since I feel a board game store quoting “Bringing people together through unforgettable dining and tabletop experiences.” But charging market for packs really just pushes people away ☹️ Not to mention the passive aggressive tone “you don’t have to buy it if you don’t want to” really promotes the “Our friendly team is always ready to help” motto. Not sure if it was just the old white guy because I remember other staff being super friendly in the past. I hope they can bring back the fun atmosphere they once had. :(
