Moxy is cool. Sometimes too cool? Party vibes with *thin* walls. I could hear the person in the next room using the bathroom. The rooms are nice though. Super nice and helpful staff. Great coffee. Destination fee goes to credit at the bar where you can get breakfast or drinks. Area is cool, very walkable with great stuff around. Loud neighborhood but it does quiet down eventually, I got to sleep ok. Great rooftop view - it was a little weird getting up there for some reason? Clean room, nice lighting, shower and toilet closets.

My wife and I stayed at the Moxy for my daughter’s wedding on June 7th. The room was very cozy and well equipped. The staff were kind and extremely helpful whether it was looking for an iron or parking. We loved the layout of the lobby, restaurant, and rooftop bar! The perfect place to host friends and family for those special occasions.

Would stay again if I had the money too! Free coffee 7-10am which was awesome. Front desk people were exquisite. Room temp was great, the shower experience was nice. I wish the windows opened wider but nbd. The architecture is very interesting / modern. Location was great as well lots to do round here. Great cafes and nightlife and beautiful trees to line the road.

We have enjoyed our stay at The Moxy Williamsburg. So far zero issues with the room. The rooms are a little on the small size but VERY nice and comfortable. Luis at the Front Desk on the afternoon shift is absolutely one of the BEST hotel representative I have ever had. He is extremely friendly, Professional and has recommended food places and activities for us. His management Team should be Thankful to have him working for them.|I read a lot of the reviews and didn’t find any of the negative comments to be true for us. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay and recommend you visit with Luis on the afternoon shift.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. ||It was very unclean - there was hair, and blood all over the bathroom floors when we checked in.
All the amenities were broken and worn - old, frayed towels and bedsheets. The curtains were broken and didn’t close properly and the TV didn’t work. The hair dryer short circuited, and the deadbolt on the door didn’t work - both huge safety issues. We did flag all of this with the staff who did nothing about it.
||We were unable to access the rooftop for the entirety of our 5-night stay, as it was constantly booked for private events or was simply closed. I even rang reception one night to confirm the rooftop was definitely open, and was assured it was. When we reached the rooftop, we were turned away because there was a private wedding reception up there.|The parties went well into the night (3am-4am) and the hotel is definitely not soundproof, so sleep was hard to come by.
||The downstairs bar staff were very inexperienced and completely uninterested in their job - I waited 10 minutes for a glass wine to be poured, and had to remind the staff member 3x times what I had ordered - and I was the only person at the bar.
||We had hoped the saving grace would be the restaurant attached to the hotel - who had amazing food, but the most laughable, terrible service I’ve encountered in a long time. They brought random, wrong dishes we clearly hadn’t ordered to our table (and the table next to us) at least FOUR times. In the end, we had to cancel our order, pay the bill and venture to find food elsewhere. ||One morning I was awoken very early in the morning by a staff member insisting I had ordered a bucket of ice - TWICE, even though I clearly hadn’t as I had been asleep. ||The cherry on top was the 3am false fire alarm that woke the entire hotel including young families with newborn babies. ||Definitely would NOT recommend staying at this hotel.

Google
While the location was great, the room is basically a shoebox. There’s not even room for you to set up your luggage or put It out of the way, very compact for the standard king room. The only reason I’m giving this location 5 starts is because of the IMPECCABLE customer service offered by Ms.Stephanie. As an out of tower she provided recommendations for places to eat and things to see and really helped make my experience the best. The location is in a great are where you can walk to lots of shops and places to eat. The noise does get through though. I’m a light sleeper and ended up taking a room right under the rooftop. I did this with a full disclosure since I was fresh off a red eye and just wanted to sleep. The train is also not far so you’ll hear that. Honestly, I’d still stay here again if I knew Stephanie was working. I’m sure she could plan a great itinerary for me.

Parking a bit tricky but hotel is nice and updated. Front desk and staff are accommodating, friendly, and professional. Lounge and restaurant is available and both pleasant. Rooms are small, compact, but efficient with all necessities. Bed and pillows are comfortable. TV in room large and up to date. Reception and wifi work well. I do recommend this hotel.

Beautiful and Clean Hotel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The entire property was spotless and beautifully maintained. My room was spacious, modern, and had all the comforts I needed. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, ensuring my room was perfect when I returned. The ambiance of the hotel was peaceful, and I loved how well-kept everything was. A fantastic experience from start to finish!”

Yelp
The Moxy Williamsburg, Brooklyn is a Marriott hotel on its hip, boutique chain. Located with easy access in South Williamsburg to subways, the ferry to Manhattan, and larger roads and bridges. The neighborhood is small and quiet over here, but food offerings are ample and delicious. The hotel itself has a very cool vibe with warm lighting, contemporary hip decor, and polite but not too much staff. The hotel bar is excellent with great cocktails and good snack options, plus a lot of space to chill for a drink or even grab a table to do some work. We did not eat the restaurant but heard good reviews from other diners. The rooms are New York City tiny but have Marriott comfortable beds and good hot water/water pressure, with nice toiletry amenities. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and will be booking with Moxiy and Marriott in the future.

Yelp
Checking in was a mess, the front desk rep almost gave me the wrong room, even though I kept asking him why my middle name that wasn't used when I was booking the room was now used as my "first name", he kept insisting that was the way it was until I asked him to check again to see if there was another room under the name I booked -- which he ended up finding. When asked whether they have certain items at the hotel such as an umbrella to borrow because it was pouring cats & dogs outside or if they had room slippers, I get rude responses such as "no but you can go buy it". Well, I'm sure I can go buy it, but my point of calling house keeping is to ask if there were any available AT THE HOTEL. The walls are extremely thin. It was a work trip so I regretted my entire stay. I can hear people talking, walking, whispering or drunkenly hopping back to their room in the middle of the night -- as if my door was opened. Not to mention, I was sandwiched between the rooftop club that was jamming music til 2 am and the downstairs venue that were hosting a wedding.

Yelp
How bout a draw in the room. Or a closet, or a desk, or a garbage can? Oh I get it the room is tiny. Not up to Marriott standards or perhaps the bars been lowered No thermostat controls. WTF?
google avatar

Yelp
Not sure what the negative reviews are about. Decent pricing for a small room. The place feels like it was built yesterday. Yes, you are going to be looking for ways to lay out your stuff. Yes, the sink is not in the bathroom. Yet, I have stayed in smaller rooms in Manhattan, so this was a home run. Valet parking would be nice, but this is Brooklyn. Thankfully there are garages within a short walk and they are easy to reserve as well. Pricing for those garages are a wonder considering how close Manhattan is. Meaning: They are CHEAP! Though I doubt I will be needing a stay in the area again I would certainly come back here if I did.

Yelp
When we first called to stay at the hotel, we gave them a heads up that we were going to be stopping by before our check in time to drop our bags off, a usually standard service for most hotels. They were agreeable to this until we said that we were also bringing my partner's rugby wheelchair (the one he had just completed the Brooklyn Half Marathon in), and they were suddenly unable to accommodate this request even when a manager got involved. Hallways were crowded with cleaning carts, which I understand are necessary for servicing rooms but when they are left in the middle of the hallway it makes it nearly impossible for a wheelchair to navigate and is definitely a fire hazard. (See pic for example). IT TOOK OVER 90 MINUTES (with 4 separate phone calls) to get anyone to deliver plates to our room. We kept being told the 3 large plates and 3 rolls of silverware tha twe requested were on their way up but nothing happened. We even ran down to get some small plates from the bar and compostable forks to tide us over but the front desk kept promising the plates and utensils would be brought up (and refused to give a timeframe in which to expect them). I finally spoke with someone for the 4th time and a manager was finally involved. Unfortunately, the plates that did get brought up were the same tiny ones from the bar and just forks were brought up, no knives or napkins. We were told there was a free continental breakfast in the mornings until 10am but tell me why a bartender made me pay $3 for a singular banana (then when I asked why I had to pay for it he said "its my first day"), convenient. We asked for our room to be serviced as it had been over 4 days and we had accumulated rubbish and needed towels refreshed. We were promised it would be but when we returned in the evening, the room was untouched and just as we left it - yet another disappointment and broken promise. Great location, great vibe in the downstairs bar and set up in the rooms. Big fan of one of the daytime bartenders who set me up with a paper plane cocktail with Mezcal and a shout out to one of the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make sure our room worked out for us. That's where the good ends though. If you want to have good or responsive service, go elsewhere. There are so many other options in Brooklyn

Yelp
Excellent hotel. Clean, staff was very accommodating. The rooms are small but you're out and about so it's very manageable. Rooftop was closed when we were there. Closed to train, restaurants and food shopping. Great location!

Yelp
Check-in: Super easy and helpful The room: TINY, however, we had an amazing view. Lobby bar: We went and they were closed so we sat down planning our next adventure for the evening and we were told that we had to move. I am not sure if they knew we were guests but instead of making a fuss, we went up to our room. Rooftop bar: Bartender was condescending to my partner so I decided to go out to the deck and check out the view. It was about 11pm and there were people outside seated and having a great time. When I went to check out the edge of the deck, a staff member told me it was closed. I promptly asked if it is open where the other people were and was told that they had to go in as well. My partner came outside w/ our drinks and stayed outside until the staff member finally told the other people to go in. The drinks were trash. Overall, it is a NO! While it is reasonably priced, the experience was lacking.

Yelp
The Moxy is a self-serve model hotel. So if you need anything you'll have to get it yourself. It is noisy - the JMZ rolls through at all times of day and night. Yes this is NYC but there are more restful places to stay. You can hear every single inane loud conversation in the narrow hallway, and housekeeping vacuums etc. They also charged us double for pet fees when their website doesn't state this clearly at all nor were we told what to expect when checking in. I am contesting this charge. The room was a fine size but the bathroom had no partition for the shower. So every shower came with an inch of standing water that lingered for awhile. And no, they don't supply slippers. Moreover, they messed up a room that was part of our group reservations and made my colleague check out when she actually had a the night reserved. Really messy experience. I won't spend any money here again, there are simply better options for the same rate.

Yelp
Small rooms - no place to even open up one suitcase Bathroom sink is in the bedroom No closet No dresser Charge for everything including the safe and $5 water bottles No comp breakfast $25 daily destination fee rip off Stay at another Marriott brand hotel!

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel, had booked two rooms. The rooms are extremely small, which may be a New York standard, but other rooms I've stayed in in New York have at least a mini bar or a safe, which the moxy had neither. I had to climb over my luggage just to get to my bed. One of the rooms, the door would not latch shut unless the door was slammed shut. Which we didn't notice until the second to last day, leaving the room accessible to anyone who would just push the door open, and the AC was not working the first day for that same room. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked great, good temperature and pressure. Worth staying in if you're looking to stay in the immediate area, as it was close to nightlife, great food options, and a few bodegas.

Yelp
This was our first time staying in Brooklyn. We had a group of 4 that wanted to stick together. It was almost impossible to find a place in Manhattan that had space for 4 in a room that was somewhat affordable. We found the Moxy that had bunk beds that slept 4 for a decent price. For what it provided and the price, it definitely was worth it. However, there was a hiccups in our stay that we hope can be improved in the future as we would love to come back: -The stairs to the upper bunk beds was placed right in the middle so climbing up to the top bunk required a bit of climbing to get in. If someone has mobility issues, this is not ideal -The actual stairs was made up of a steel material, it was so incredibly painful to climb up on them -The showers are see through, so if you're rooming with 3 other people, be aware that everyone can see you shower. Other than that, it was a solid place to stay. It's walkable to a lot of places and about a 14 min walk to the nearest subway station.

Yelp
EDIT: from five to four to three quickly. After I checked out, I saw I was charged an additional 30 plus dollars from the bar today. Certainly wasn't me. Don't know if someone charged to my room or what. They refunded it, but this has been plenty enough for me to say not again, no thanks. Get it together, people. Previous: I am being generous to knock this down from five to four. I've stayed here a couple times now, and from the beginning, I've admitted other moxy hotels (especially the lower east side) are more my style. The bar in this one results in a constantly crowded lobby, with most of the people not even staying at the hotel. This time around, while waiting to order my mediocre drink (so that my mandatory destination fee doesn't go to waste), the bartenders overtly ignored me. The main issue this time around: I had a 4 PM checkout. I tried to use today, the day after I finished a string of seven 12 hour shifts, to rest. Housekeeping absolutely ruined the whole day. I know they are hardworking, I know they have a job to do. But this hotel is small and cramped and the WHOLE DAY, from like 10:30 AM til after 3 PM today, there is so much banging, and yelling, and phone ringing, and talking. It was wild enough I cancelled my next reservation. Williamsburg is far less interesting than the LES anyway. The front desk checkin staff are still VERY nice and accommodating, and they are doing their very best. Can't fault them for anything.

Yelp
Bomb it and start over. It is not chic or cool, It is small, dark and dingy. There is nothing redeeming about it. Go to the next listing and book there

Yelp
When you stand up from your seat, make sure your belongings. I just stand up about 30sec, a stranger(woman) sit down to my seat. I was actually standing in front of my chair and my bag was on the table. I was targeting from her! I reached her right away she left other seats. There were plenty of seats why she needed to sit down mine? you know why!

Yelp
The Moxy is a super chic and hip spot on bedford ave in Brooklyn. It seemed like a pretty safe area... There were a number of cool places to eat right around the corner (unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to try them out). The lobby is super vibrant, at times spilling out onto the sidewalk and the bar area which was fun. The rooms are well appointed and pretty small, with smoked glass doors on the bathroom and shower. There isn't a lot of privacy with the shower door opening directly into the main part of the room. It's a great spot and I'd definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Stephanie goes above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay . I highly recommend Moxy Williamsburg . Great location and friendly staff .
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for some sunset cocktails at the Lili Star rooftop bar and it was a mess. You have to walk through this large driveway to get to an elevator in the side of the building to go up to the roof. Once on the roof, there are no servers or hostesses to seat you so it's just chaos trying to grab a table. Staff are really slow to order drinks from and when we did, they forgot where the table was and were visibly stressed just wandering the floors trying to remember which table we were at. The views of lower manhattan are decent but midtown is completely blocked. Drinks are expensive, subpar and not worth it for the view and service.

Yelp
What a fun and exciting option for a quick weekend getaway in Williamsburg! I love the location, right under the Williamsburg Bridge... the price, the vibe. Good energy. I was lucky enough to find on the street parking right around the corner, so that was free, but generally may have to ask about the affiliated parking garage that is $26 per day. Check in was easy and front "desk" was friendly. Very nice open lobby with a bar (Bar Bedford) that serves great cocktails and small bites. I loved my Aperol spritz, and we devoured our burrata and hummus to hold us over until dinner. Great playlist spinning. Mandy was very personable. I like that you have to present a key to move the floors on the elevator since there are a lot of people who come in the lobby for misc reasons. Since just opened up this spring, everything is still in good shape--part of the reason why I was happy about staying here. Elevators were clean, hallways were a vibe--emo dark type, but it worked.. rooms were clean, small, not too small but hey, it is NYC.... it wasn't a shoe box. Nice floor to ceiling windows. Interesting to have the sink in the hallway as soon as you enter the room, but it ended up working well! Toilet, shower, and sink were all separate, so everyone could get something done at the same time! The only issue was that when we ordered more towels, they didn't come at all... we had to track down help in the hallway to make it happen, but they were super accommodating. Now the beds... SUPER comfy all the way around.. the mattress and pillows were like sleeping on clouds. Love that. Check out was easy... Would definitely recommend this as an option when in the area. We really enjoyed everything about our stay.

Yelp
Stayed here for Fourth of July weekend and absolutely loved it. The hotel was so beautiful and smelled wonderful. The room was fairly big for a NYC hotel (two queen beds). The bathroom and shower were separate allowing people to use both at the same time which is perfect when you have multiple people staying in a room. The shower was really big and had a beautiful sage green wall. The room was very clean as well. The hotel has a lot to offer with the bars and restaurants connected to it. It gets very lively at night which is perfect for people who want to turn up but want to stay in close proximity to their hotel. The hotel is also located in a perfect location. You are able to wake up and walk Bedford to explore different boutique stores, and cafes/restaurants for the perfect shopping day. There was no need for Uber's while staying here. I will definitely be back to enjoy this hotel.

Yelp
We were completely satisfied with our stay at this new Moxy. We've stayed at Moxy hotels before and this one was the best yet. They were able to check us in four hours early so that we could take a nap after our red-eye and held our bags after check out so we didn't have to carry them around all day. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful (thank you, Stephanie!). Our room was clean, extremely comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The entire hotel has beautiful decor, as well, and is close to the subway and bus lines. There is a gym and full bar for both espresso and alcohol, as well as a rooftop bar and restaurant on the weekends. The only improvement that Moxy could make would be complimentary breakfast (there is complimentary drip coffee and tea) rather than the "destination fee" of $25 added on to your room fee that can be used for food and drink at the main floor restaurant and bar but is charged even if you don't use it.

Yelp
I came by the Moxy for a cute event they were hosting. It was great! Such a nice lobby and service. Also it's in a great location! I'll definitely keep an eye out for future events here and would recommend it to visiting friends as a good place to stay in Williamsburg

Yelp
Beautiful Hotel. Wonderful and clean accommodations. Great staff. Nice restaurants attached and inside. Beautiful view from rooftop bar next door. The beds were so soft.

Yelp
what could improve? EVERYTHING! Why don't I read the reviews before staying somewhere??? What is wrong with me? It never fails, the one star reviews are always dead on point!! Read them, and find somewhere else to stay!!

Yelp
I absolutely love it here ! All it took was one stay and I've been locked in since. Every time I visit NY, the Williamsburg area this is my first and only pick. They offer laundry services, you receive a hotel credit that you can use at the bar and on food including breakfast, the service is efficient and quick. Might I add everyone who works there is 1000% nice and courteous, from check in to check out. I have 0 complaints.

Yelp
This hotel is exactly as branded / advertised and for that I give it 5 stars. Super cute ... fresh and modern space. Simple hotel offering but comfortable space and friendly staff. Room comes with $25 food credit for bar too. And roof top deck for casual bites. Will definitely stay again.

Yelp
Not only the worst Marriott, but also one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed in. Unfortunately, it's completely by design. No parking, - drove around for 45 minutes and the "drop" area was never available. Finally parked on the street and carried the bags half a mile. Got to the hotel and as a Marriott Platinum Elite and was "upgraded". No help with the luggage. We went up the elevator to the room and the key worked but there was another guest already there! Finally got an empty room after returning to reception, over an hour after first "driving by" this "hotel". The upgraded "Executive" room is still the size of a jail cell as described by another reviewer. The bathroom configuration is a total joke with a glass toilet closet, a glass shower closet and the tiny sink in the main room. There is no actual closet, just a tiny pole in the middle of the room and random hooks on the wall. Forget any privacy with the tiny quarters and glass. Unless you are alone, an exhibitionist, or someone that likes to "let it all hang out there" you will be completely disgusted. It's a new style hotel designed like a hostel or dorm. The designer and the Marriott exec that approved it should both be ridiculed publicly and fired. Avoid Avoid Avoid at any and all cost!

Paula E.

Yelp
If you want a hotel you can actually sleep in do not stay on the top floors. Noise from the rooftop bar, bleeds down and and thumping bass and screaming patrons are ever present. I've never been fond of showers that exit directly into the sleeping area or bathroom sinks that are directly in the sleeping area. The closet was big enough to hang 4 items. The room would make a nice freshman college dorm room. I was expecting a lot more, especially for the price. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean. Noise level from the rooftop bar was intolerable.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Overall a decent Moxy location but the staff left much to be desired here for it being a Marriott location. I had to ask questions over and over to get basic answers from the FD. I've stayed at Moxy locations all over and this was the least exceptional service in a while. Switched over to the Moxy east location instead.
google avatar

Jolanny L.

Yelp
The vibe here is so immaculate! I loved every thing of the Moxy. The smell throughout the hotel is amazing. Check in was nice and smooth. Jackfel helped me, bless his heart. He is such an amazing asset to Moxy and really made my experience there that much better. The bar drinks were so delicious. A bit pricey, but regardless still yummy. Thank you so much Moxy & Jackfel!

Yelp
I stay in mainly luxury hotels, all around the world and I just have to say that I love this little gem. I've read a lot of the negative reviews and I think I figured out that the people who wrote them or expecting a non-urban type a hotel and small room. They had unrealistic expectations. It is so functional and perfect. In my opinion I used to stay at a larger, more luxurious hotel for more than double the money, and I am a fan of this property besides the room being just perfectly small, but so well designed for functionality, the fabulous cozy bar and restaurant, I love the staff here the best everybody has a smile on their face, and eager to help. I'm a big fan.

Yelp
Location is great and the overall look/design is nice. Everything else added friction and stress to our trip. We stayed for four nights. The rooms are super tiny, which is typical for NY, but these are configured in a way to make it impossible for two people with luggage to move around. The shower door didn't close all the way and leaked. Room refreshing/cleaning forgot things, like towels one day. Most frustrating was the AC isn't available at all hours. The system shuts itself off at night so the tiny room gets quite warm while you sleep. We had a hotel tech come look at it and he said it was fine; it was not. The WORST part was their nightclub experience on the ground level goes until 4am and you can hear the bass thumping through your pillow all night. We were on the 6th floor! In their attempt to create a "hip" hotel, Marriott created a fun place to grab a drink and a terrible place to sleep. Other details are off too. The breakfast is not fresh quality and the bar experience is awkward with a staff that seemed disorganized and some things on the bar but some things you have to ask them to retrieve for you. It's a cheaper option compared to other places, and they deliver on that. You don't get much more than a great location.

Carrie M.

Yelp
I went to the Moxy Williamsburg rooftop with some friends for a saturday night out. The drinks were good, the views were great, the weather was perfect; it had all the makings of an amazing night IF it weren't for the absolutely deafening music. It was so beyond too loud, so loud my friends and I literally had to type notes on our phone to each other because we couldn't hear a single thing even when yelling in each other's ears. I really wanted to love this place because it's so convenient and pretty but the noise levels are really ridiculous and ruin everything.

Yelp
Incompetence and tiny room for a lot of money. The room was pre-paid and I was charged a destination fee when I checked in. The room was already paid for yet I get another charge? Then, when I called to speak about the charge, the desk clerk or manager said I was at the hotel for more than one night, which I was not. Incompetent. I received another charge five days later and am now in dispute with my credit card company to take the charge away. It seems the Moxy Brooklyn Williamsburg is a greedy beast. For your own peace of mind, go to another hotel. When I called this morning to speak to the manager, I was told he/she didn't come in until 3pm. I was not impressed by the clerk answering the phone since he appeared somewhat befuddled.

Yelp
This hotel is good for passersby. Meaning one night stays . There are no drawers to place clothing . No place to store a suit case. Very small closet to hang clothes and the only vanity/sink is in the middle of the room . No real breakfast but a full barista with carbs only . The rooftop closed at 9:45 on a Thursday night and wouldn't let me in . I was told I could upgrade but upgrade at this hotel is a view only .

Yelp
If you like to sleep at night without loud bass techno music thumping in your ears, do not stay here. The music is supposed to end at 1AM which is bad enough, but on the night we stayed it continued until 2AM because of a private party. The rooms are teeny tiny even by NYC standards. We had one overnight bag and no place to leave it open. I'm not sure what you would do if you had a full set of luggage. There is a mini flip down tray for your laptop, but if you use a mouse, good luck. They charge $5 for a warm bottle of water as there is no mini fridge. The shower and toilet weirdly open right into the room with a strange green sink right in the room itself. It all looks cute in the photos, but it is not. This is a bare bones hotel tarted up to look posh which it most definitely is not. The one positive - the bed and pillows were comfortable which would have been nice if only it wasn't too loud to sleep. Also, after complaining about the noise we were given a partial refund on the room rate. Nice, but I would rather have paid full shot and slept.

Yelp
This hotel is awful. Confirmed early check-in and room was not ready. Told to come back at 1:00, returned at 2:00 and still not ready. Tiny room. Nowhere to put your clothes. No chair or work area. Vanity and sink are in the room, not the bathroom. I am in New York hotels quite often. This is , by far, the worst I have seen. Avoid this place.

Yelp
Was in the gym trying to use the tech only vending machine for a drink. I could not get it to work (funny right) and the desk manager saw me struggle and offered to get me a water. It's easy to do the big things. It's the little things and details that are hard and matter most. Well done Moxy.

Yelp
Where do I start. So cute but half the menu wasn't available. $90 for chicken and wheat noodles. DJ played dead weird music. Ok to sit outside and clean bathrooms but man expensive

Yelp
Will never stay here again. Constant loud music, I went to bed around midnight and all I could hear was the beat of the music. Furthermore, the bar staff were so rude. I went for Continental breakfast, not free by the way, and they yelled across the room telling me to pay. I was embarrassed and it was not called for, they could have told me privately. I assumed it was free because it was pastries with tongs for the taking. Lastly, it was annoying that my key card kept not working and had to get it rescanned. They did not apologize ever.

Yelp
Overpriced transplant central. I stayed here with my friend only while helping her move bc it was very close by. If you want ANY sleep, if you are a LIGHT SLEEPER, if you have INSOMNIA- or, perhaps, just want a semi-decent quiet nights sleep without: -people having loud casual convos (1:25am as I write this) in the hallway -little kids screaming bright and early and hearing their inconsiderate parents scold and talk to them them LOUDLY for everyone to hear- like anyone wants to hear that and people aren't SLEEPING?? Hello (coming from a fellow parent btw) -the West Indian room service lady BANGING and SHOUTING while talking 9:00am sharp.. Then.. DON'T come here! :-) I feel like I'm in a hospital cubicle instead of hotel with the amount of noise I hear omg! Also asked TWO different people around 1pm for my room to be cleaned 1) the LOUD room service woman (who cut me off mid while telling her where my room is cause she already knew apparently!) and 2) front desk guy (because something told me she wasn't going to clean it) to just have my room cleaned.. Came back after midnight and nothing! 0.. What a surprise. Miss me with this bs. Hotel is small AF too with narrow hallways.

Yelp
Ideal location, well appointed, modern and clean aesthetic. Friendly staff. Rooms are the smallest rooms I have ever seen in my life!

Yelp
If you are coming to stay at the hotel, DON'T!! Rooms are small, typical NY, but when you want to sleep the roof top club will bang until 4 a.m.+ and make it impossible to sleep. Sounds like a DJ is in the room with you. Honestly a 0/10 and the non stop running toilet is truly the cherry on top of a trip. What a waste of money

Yelp
Neighborhood is great!! The staff are all very nice. Im giving it 3 stars because of the size of the room.. its almost laughable! Bathroom sink is outside the bathroom because there is no room for it. There is no where to put your suitcase down , there is no fridge/cooler , no ice bucket... room for 2 people is very tight!!! If you want to be around a trendy neighborhood and dont mind living in a closet for the length of your stay then the moxy os for you.. i myself will chslk this up to a one time experience

Yelp
Great Place! Deshon at the front desk was awesome , he told Me about the Soma1 fitness pass , the $25.00 credit for food at the hotel. It was nice clean and active bar downstairs.

Yelp
Check in was at 3, we came for a wedding that we need to be ready for. We got here just before 3 to ensure we have proper time to get ready after traveling. It is now 4:34 and we still have no room. We have been told three times it'll be ready shortly. I will never stay here again. They apologized bc last night was sold out and many guests had late checkout. I understand a little delay but not this long.
