I had an outstanding stay at the Moxy Hotel Seattle before embarking on my Alaska cruise, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond—truly some of the most attentive and caring hospitality I’ve experienced. Their genuine warmth made me feel instantly welcome. The location is unbeatable, with plenty of fantastic restaurants just steps away. Whether you’re craving sushi, artisan coffee, or late-night bites, you’re covered. The lobby is a standout feature—spacious, stylish, and perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. It’s got that modern vibe with cozy corners that invite you to linger. While the rooms are compact, they’re thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. The bed was plush and perfect for a restful night, and the bathroom was sleek and functional, with everything I needed. If you’re cruising out of Seattle or just exploring the city, Moxy is a top-tier choice. I’ll definitely be back!

This was a 5 stay visit, however, I only gave 4 stars because the rooms are on the smaller side, however the Service, ambiance at this Moxy is 5 stars and beyond! The staff, especially Nikki, Elijah and Adam are so so so amazing!! They were kind, courteous, professional, thoughtful and always willing to be of assistance and offer great suggestions. They made our stay so incredibly amazing and memorable! We will stay at Moxy again because of them. Thank you all so much for making my birthday trip to Seattle so awesome!! You guys are amazing and make the property an incredible place to visit!! Make sure you plan your stay at Moxy and meet these incredibly awesome people! Obi & Phoebe

This hands down is my favorite hotel to date. Stayed 8.31.25 to 9.2.25. The staff was AMAZING! Friendly and super helpful. The lobby is welcoming and beyond fun! Room had so many thoughtful touches and was efficient with everything we needed! Four stars for location as we were about two miles from a lot. A bit much for us to walk but we did our best. Highly recommend!

Google
Great location. Lobby and bar is very nice and unique. Thats where it ends though. The rooms are a joke. No closet, there are hooks on the wall, and they provide four hangers that hang off the hooks. No chair or desk. Bathroom counter is barely big enough to fit your toiletry bag. No fridge, no coffee machine. If i was staying for more than one night i would've changed hotels.

Google
I had a mostly positive experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the bar area was a great spot to unwind after long workdays. The gym was compact but well-equipped enough for a solid workout. That said, the room was very small — really only suited for a solo business traveler who doesn’t plan to spend much time in it. There are no closets or drawers, just hooks around the room to hang clothes, which felt a bit sparse and impractical, especially for a 6-night stay. It worked, but didn’t feel particularly comfortable or homey. Overall, a solid option if you're prioritizing location and amenities over room space.

Google
Moxy Seattle is clean and in a good location. Staff is pretty nice. For us (couple staying for vacation), the only major issue was that the "small, efficient rooms" do not have anywhere to put your clothes away. No drawers, no closet, no wardrobe. There are a few overly stylized industrial hooks on the wall, but that's it. As someone who lives in NYC and knows small spaces and efficiency, I can tell you, the lack of places to put clothes away was a choice. There were *plenty* of ways they could have incorporated some drawers, shelves, or a proper clothing rack. When I asked the staff about why there wasn't anywhere to put clothes away, I was told "it's part of the vibe." Cue eye-roll. ||Other than the lack of drawers/closets and "hipster" decor that is trying way too hard, Moxy is nice. The neighborhood is business-y so many thing are closed on the weekends, but there are still good choices around. Lake Union itself is lovely. Streetcar and buses and Lime bikes all nearby.

Everything was clean and done on time. I don’t drink but they did have a bar where you check in, which is odd but cool nonetheless. You can have a drink and hangout in the lobby as they have multiple seating and board games that you can play. The place feels like a friends basement, very warm and welcoming. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They are willing to have a conversation and they gave me great suggestions to tour around the city. The one that mainly helped me was Gisele and Nikki. They were some of the most helpful and friendliest Ive dealt with.

Google
Not much to like here though. It's a Marriott product. The hotel is nothing like anything you'd ever seen with a Marriott name on it. Rooms are tiny with nothing in them, including any sort of refrigerator, coffee, ironing board, or any other things that you may find useful in a hotel room. There's no desk space. There's no seating and no space in the bathroom quick things. Imagine a Spartan rouge?. Don't bother. Try to eat it in the room because there's absolutely no place to sit down. Restaurant food or breakfast is not available here. They offer some food items kind of like you'd see on a a train or something where they heat it up in device behind the bar . Oh, and don't bother thinking you're going to get up and down to your room quickly since one of the two elevators is broken. Oh, and why you're at it? I was visiting during one of the really hot periods in August and unfortunately the air conditioning units are unreliable since my room. The thermostat didn't work properly and the heating wouldn't go off. I got switched to another room and believe it or not the exact same thing was taking place and I understand now that it's a recurring problem that they're aware of. Fortunately they took me to a third room that the AC was working on and made my stay tolerable. Wow! What a mistake. I made booking this place. Update: so I've stayed another night since my booking is for three nights and they eventually got me to a room where the AC was working and I went down to use the tokens they gave you when you check in for free espresso or a drink. So since I don't drink I went for the espresso in the morning and guess what their espresso machine was broken and now the tokens are useless to me. So instead I decided to go for the free drip coffee which at the time I was there was unavailable since it was still being made at 8:30 in the morning. And I guess the redeeming value of all this is the reality that there's a Starbucks, only a few hundred yards away, which is a really nice one that's operated very well and it's not very crowded.

Yelp
This was a really fun hotel with a young, hip vibe. The lobby has a full bar with great bartenders (and some higher end whiskey) along with plenty of games like shuffle board, giant jenga, and connect four. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and the location in Seattle is very close to a lot of cool places and restaurants. We'll definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Very cool boutique hotel while still having the name brand behind the Marriott. The lobby is very cozy and eclectic. The check in is also a bar, and they have a little menu that you can order from. They serve complimentary coffee as well. The rooms are small but cozy. Very unique decor that is stylish. The hotel is within walking distance to a lot! There is no hotel parking, but the street parking isn't a problem and it's not very expensive.

Yelp
When I do a staycation I stay in Moxy and the bartender Chris is always the best, friendly and I can see he is hard worker taken care of the people. I always recommend this location to all me friends and family.

Yelp
I stayed here for a couple of nights and enjoyed it overall. The staff at check-in are really nice and friendly. Like all Moxy's, they give a ticket for a free welcome drink that can be used on beer, wine, or espresso. The lobby area has an open layout, with plenty of seating and tables along with board games, a big jenga, and tv's broadcasting the games live. The room is a bit small, but cozy. Felt it was weird that the window is directly opposite of the other building so I just closed the curtains for the most part haha. The room does have a desk built in the wall and a beer bottle opener ftw! There is a gym with cardio, free weights, filtered water, towels and even some spare headphones (new and packaged individually) for use. The location is great and it's only a couple blocks away from lake union which made for a nice run in the morning. It says it's downtown, but it's really south lake union. The walk isn't bad though if you're trying to go sight seeing around the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel for a work trip. On one hand, it's close to touristy spots, Whole Foods, CVS. It's affordable, and you get a ticket redeemable for one free drink. They also have a basement gym. I got a surprise menstrual cycle visit and when I asked if they had pads they gave them to me (free) , no questions asked, literally saving my pants. You have to ask but if you want a microwave or mini fridge they'll send someone up to your room to give it to you. I wasn't a huge fan because I'm familiar with Marriotts and they tend to have more amenities. I was hoping for closet/drawer space, coffee/tea available whenever, teeny little travel bottles of lotions/soaps. I was told that they purposely do this so that people could spend more time mingling in the lobby area. So if you're a fellow introvert, this may not be your ideal hotel. Otherwise, you'll enjoy the contemporary social atmosphere.

Yelp
My first time staying at a Moxy hotel. The pictures on the website intrigued me. I'm very impressed! Love the casual comfort & ambiance there. The friendly staff explain that it's unique in that it's designed for the rooms to be very simple with hopes that people spend more time downstairs in the lobby/bar/lounge/gameroom area, to encouraging socialization. An excellent idea especially for single travelers! The room is simple & uniquely decorated. They don't have refrigerators or microwave ovens in the rooms but it can be requested. Nice bar area & they give you a complimentary drink at check-in! Great location, very close to downtown Seattle, Volunteer Park, Seattle Center, Pike Place Market & more. Very fun place! Sorry I couldn't stay longer to experience it more.

Yelp
The staff here is so friendly! They are kind and welcoming and remember you as a return guest. The bar is awesome!! Lots of great drink choices! I also had one of their flatbreads and it was delicious!! The rooms are also fun and have great decor and functionality! The bed is super comfortable and the shower is great! I plan to stay here anytime I'm in Seattle!

Yelp
This is my go to "home away from home" hotel while in Portland. Grateful to Samantha for the unexpected upgrade to a parlor suite. Great location, always clean public areas and guest rooms, stash cabinet is always stocked, drink tickets at checkin, etc. Pleasant surprise to see a Sun Rice - Filipino inspired menu restaurant.

Yelp
We love staying at Moxy Hotels and the Seattle location is the one that started it all for us. Initially, I only booked it because it was a super low nightly rate (for being in Seattle) but knowing what I know now, I definitely would have paid more. For starters, you check in at their bar (which is awesome, by the way) and you're given tickets for a complimentary cocktail upon check-in (the freebie is their "Moxy" cocktail. It's ok, but there's barely any alcohol in it). The rooms are tiny with minimalistic amenities but if you're in Seattle to sight see and not relax, it'll suffice. There is a small work desk, large comfortable bed, large tv and a nice walk-in shower. The lobby has lots of seating to socialize or just chill by yourself. There's a small selection of drinks (water, soda, etc) and food you can purchase. For hotel guests, there's free coffee available in the morning. Something I really appreciated was the water bottle refill station. That helped a lot. Just know that the bar area is open to anyone. Not just those staying at the hotel. So on weekend evenings it tends to get pretty busy. You'll need a room key to access the elevator so no need to worry about some random weirdo roaming the halls. Location was pretty good. We were fairly central to popular attractions like the Space Needle and Pike Place. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. It's a nice hotel with solid offerings and amenities.

Yelp
The size of their rooms are smaller than other Marriotts hotels but very modern and stylish. I really like their minimal decors for the room. The only drawn back is they do not have a fridge in the room. They have a huge lobby with a bar at the center and activities to encourage guests to spend time in the common areas. All the staffs/bartenders/servers there were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again next time just because of them.

Yelp
No working ac or fridge. Ok but nothing to write home about. Was more trendy with the lobby but not a truly good nights sleep

Yelp
Loved this hotel such great customer service. They only charged me $580 for 4 days. You are also close to CVS, waterfronts, and other restaurants. Great location! It is close walking distance to Space Needle Downtown Seattle Capitol Hill Pike Place Market There is also a train which takes you there almost immediately in like 15 mins. They also had a great drinks such as the "Moxy Cocktail." They also have a Jenga, Foosball, SeatSaw, Connect 4, gym

Yelp
My biggest complaint about this Moxy is when we checked in we were told the bar closed at 11. We wanted to have a nightcap after dinner and it was only 9. The bartender said they would serve us but would have to close us out as the bar closes at 9....and not to mention we were charged almost $50 for two standard Old Fashioned. I later heard the bartender tell a local patron that if the hotel is at 1/2 occupancy they close the bar early. I don't have a problem with this but don't tell me when I check in the bar doesn't close until 11. All this said, the staff wasn't overly friendly and i got the feeling they didn't care. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Pros: Great eclectic hotel! Room is small, no closet but you can hang your clothes on funky hooks against the wall. Great shower, hot water. Front desk great. Comfy bed...good air conditioner. Clean! They offer coffee and tea in lobby. Pass your time playing table shuffle board or FOOS BALL or board games. Walk around the corner to Starbucks. Stop at the Banana truck (across from Starbucks) and grab your FREE banana. Cons: If you want to sleep past 5:30am you won't. Busy road. Also air conditioner does make a popping noise through the night.

Yelp
I was all set to love this Moxy as much as I loved the Moxy in Munich. Alas...they're not the same. I mean, they're the same brand and you get pretty much the same things, but this hotel's rooms are much smaller than the Munich one, and had some quirks that I'm still puzzling over. It had the same youngish-vibes throughout the hotel, from the lobby to the elevators (which were decorated to make it look like you were inside a jacket pocket) to the bright pink toiletries and hair dryer in the room. But...the bathroom was right next to the room's entrance - seriously, like all you had to do was take a step from the front door to get to the toilet, which is a bit off-putting, honestly. I don't want to have to worry about someone walking past hearing me tinkle! The room had a hand-held steamer, but no lotion. It had a tiny microwave, but no fridge. It had a fold-up desk, but no safe. It felt very utilitarian, even for one who knew going in that it wouldn't have some "basic" amenities (nightstands, drawers, etc.) The best thing about the room was the shower, hands down. The rainfall showerhead helped wash away the stress of travel and sweat from the hot, humid summer weather. Only one side of the bed - which had a decent mattress, at least - had outlets or any place to plug in devices. The only other outlets were in the bathroom or at the fold-up desk. (Hint, if you need more power, unplug the naked light fixture to reveal two USB chargers and another outlet.) The best thing about the hotel was the location. It's only a mile to Pike Place - which is how I measure just about everything when visiting Seattle - and situated just a few blocks from the South Lake Union area. Lots of running/walking spaces, plus a nice selection of casual to upscale restaurants within easy walking distance. Also, if you're thinking about hitting the CVS that's a couple blocks away, just don't. They were so picked over and understocked the one time they went in I just have to believe they were brand new. Instead, hit the Bartell Drugs off of Mercer Street for fully a stocked store and knowledgeable staff.

Yelp
This is a great hotel to stay if you want a nice quiet weekend space. It's surrounded by tech and Google employees surrounding during weekday. There are food trucks that line up in available spots and there is a drug store and donut shop with some restaurants within a short walk. The rooms are no fuss, nice big comfy king size bed. Standard walk in shower. The decor is very hip. The lobby has a fireplace, games and the bar where you check in at. The stay came with free drinks at check in which was nice perk. Had a very nice chill stay here. After the Friday work rush the weekend streets were pretty quiet. Walked a few blocks around South Lake Union, everything seems new which is different if you've stay near Pike Place or Downtown. Downside the rooms don't really have much space to put luggage. So if you're a light traveler it would work better for you but I don't travel light and room may seem crowded. I would stay here again since for weekend getaways I find it's easier to stay in business type/ financial areas because you don't get the tourist crowds.

Yelp
A trendy hotel that seems to care more about being hip than it's hospitality. It seems like they are trying to be the cool hotel and cater to the younger crowd, so if you care about warm, welcoming & helpful guest services this shouldn't be your first choice. Personally, when traveling & staying at a hotel, the biggest part is how you're treated and felt welcomed. The staff seemed like they were just there to exist and do their job. Most of the workers at the front desk looked so unenthusiastic and bored, nor ever greeted us. The bartender was quite rude and needs to learn how to speak to guests (using "nah" or "bro" should not be a part of our conversation). The rooms are clean, but quite tiny (I personally don't mind the size too much, as it's enough for the time spent there). There are no closets or dressers to store belongings, or a fridge (you can request one if you absolutely need it). The shower is nice with a good rainfall shower head and the bed is comfy. The lobby is cute with plenty of space to lounge around in, games to play, a bar (which seemed to shut down early), tiny market by the bar to purchase beverages/snacks, and a water refill station. There is no parking offered by the hotel, but you can either park on the streets (paid meter, but seemed easy to find a spot) or park in several of the garages around the hotel. We parked in a garage next door, which felt safe to keep the car overnight. Just keep in mind the garage next door closes during the night so you won't be able to get your car out. They also offer EV charging in the garage. Overall, the area seems fairly safe, quiet and walkable. There's a few restaurants and cafes in the immediate area, and it's a short distance from Pike Place and downtown.

Yelp
I didn't know what to expect from this hotel since I'd never stayed at a Moxy Hotel before. My reasoning for choosing this hotel was due to a couple of factors: (1) location, and (2) it's a Marriott Property. Walking into the hotel, I was a little confused since I didn't walk into a typical hotel lobby, but instead I had walked into what looked like a swanky lounge/bar. However, the signs on the floor led me to the bar which also doubled as the front desk for the hotel. During check in, I asked the mandatory question I always ask whenever I check into a Marriott Property: "Is there any room upgrade available?" to which I was informed that there was none. But instead they gave me a couple of tokens that I could use for beers on tap and some wine, I think? I tried using them on bottled water but they weren't good for those either. A bit disappointing. However, I do have to say other than being denied an upgrade A room key was required in the elevator to take me up to my floor and down the basement where the gym was located. The room was small and very minimalist. You wouldn't find a closet, mini refrigerator, or any of your regular amenities that you'd expect to find in a hotel room. In place of a desk, you'd find a fold down mini-desk. In place of closet space, you'd find iron hooks on the wall. If you needed to iron your clothes, you'd have to use the community ironing board down the hall on your floor. I did, however, love the bathroom with its fancy Duravit dual flush commode and black metal trim along with matte black shower trim. The bed was also pretty comfortable, but wasn't the most comfortable bed that I've slept in at a Marriott Property. Not by a long shot. My other interactions with the hotel staff other than during check in was when I had lost something and I needed someone to check out the security video for something that I had specifically asked to see. One of the manages gladly helped me with that process. He called and then texted me to update me with what he'd seen (or hadn't seen in this case) so that was a major plus. All the other hotel staff were pretty friendly in general but they were doubling as front desk staff and also bartenders so sometimes you'd have to wait for them to help people at the bar before they could help you with hotel business. The gym is as nice as a hotel gym could be. There were some weight machines, some free weights, and some treadmills. There was also a punching bag if you want to do some cardio. However, instead of a stand alone punching bag, it's attached to one of the weight machines which means that if somebody is using that weight machine, you can't use the punching bag. My stay here was pleasant enough. However, staying here felt more like staying at one of those one-off good-enough hotels that you can find on Hotwire or Priceline. Next time, I'm sticking with a hotel where I don't have to step out of my room to iron my clothes.

Yelp
Bartender is great This hotel is trying hard to build a business with limited occupancy and clientele. They're struggling through covid and doing a good job :)

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Super fun to hang out in bar which has games and even a teeter-totter! Rooms are pretty small but comfortable and functional. Street parking was easy and reasonably priced.
google avatar

Tyler A.

Yelp
They chose form over function here. While the place looks interesting, there were some basic issues that shouldn't exist at this price point. The air conditioning didn't work (granted this was during a heatwave, but still). The curtains in our room didn't close all the way, so light came in during the night. The door to the bathroom is a loosely hanging sliding door, so it doesn't form a seal at all for the purposes of sound or smell. The room had a fancy TV and trendy decor, but it doesn't make up for the above issues.
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
Moxy, you never let me down! I know this is a Marriott and you know it is a Marriott, so everyone kind of knows what you're in for. haha.... A large pricetag, a million upcharges, and some pomp with a little circumstance... but always a trendy clean and beautiful spot. I love this hotel. I had the time of my life there and the amenities are super cute. I agree with the other reviews too that the rooms a little small but the lobby is always a happening place and the service is excellent.

Yelp
Couples weekend trip, came here since the Airbnb property we stayed in was disgusting. The hotel is different, but we loved it. Within walking distance from all the tourist spots. The king size bed was comfy, staff was pleasant. We used the parking garage next door. Would definately stay here again. However, you can hear the room next door unfortunately, from switching on the light attached by the bed, to them lowering the shades.

Yelp
What a joy! Huge fan of this Moxy and their staff. Gianna Conan and Rachel were not only delightful but kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make up for my rough day. After wandering about for dine in coffee shop to work from, I ended right back up at the Moxy for a cappuccino and stellar ambiance. This Seattlite is looking forward to returning for every Portland business trip! Thanks to the Portland Moxy team.

Yelp
Just had a great 3-night stay recently. It is a unique hotel and I think the people who complain that the rooms were too small didn't do any research about the hotel before their stay. I knew the rooms would be small, but I've stayed in many rooms that were smaller in Europe. I also knew there were no closets. None of this affected my stay in the least. What the Moxy rooms lack in square footage is made up in abundance by the warm & welcoming common spaces in the lobby. Additionally, the staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive and took care of my requests immediately. If you're looking for a great location & a welcoming, budget-friendly hotel in Seattle, the Moxy is it!

Yelp
Spontaneous Seattle trip for Valentine's day weekend landed us here from Cali. The concept of Moxy is well thought-out catering to late 90s/Millennials and Gen Z patrons. Such an outgoing space, lit up with funky decor and endless games out in the lobby. Check-in isn't your normal standard as it's conjoined with bar. Rooms are small, minus the little fridge, microwave, and closet you would get at others. However, the king size bed and TV with Netflix accessibility made up for it. Also, no breakfast. You can choose from their breakfast bar and pay separately. Bar was closed due to COVID-19. Overall, it's a decent stay. We had a breeze coming in & out of the hotel to do tourist things in Seattle. Employees were great and always friendly/welcoming. Lady who checked us in upgraded my room for free since I was staying more than 1 day. Cons: 1. It seemed dirty in the hallways - trash and linens thrown outside the doors. Not picked up for days. 2. Housekeeping only comes every 7 days per website and during covid-19 that's unusual & unsanitary. 3. Parking Garages near-by suck. Wasn't even open half the time and none accommodated over-night parking for guests who opted for a rental car. *best luck is paying street parking fees and finding a spot* 4. The advertise the app - Bumble using Moxy as the certified "meet-up" spot or whatever on their entrance window. That's fine and all, but now all I can think is people come here to hook-up. (Hence, the bedsheets thrown on the floor in the hallway) 5. Fire Alarm went off on a Saturday morning - someone was smoking in their room and set it off. Yikes Book at your own leisure! It's a cute spot but I might opt for the CitizenM if I'm here again.

Yelp
Have to say this was such a fun stay for my sister and I when we visited Seattle. Check in is at the bar which is unique. Wish I knew the name of the girl that checked us in but she was super nice and helpful.....When you check in they give you drink chips which is really cool. The bartender is awesome! He hooked us up with two drinks called Got Moxy! It was super delish! The aesthetic of the hotel is super cute! They have a fun lounge area where you can relax, play games, order drinks or just meet up with a date. Grant it the rooms are small and there are no closets. But for an overpacker like myself it was actually no problem. We managed and they do have coat hangers on the wall so it worked out fine for us. Over all it was a fun stay! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The vibe at this hotel is great for young people between there 20's and 30's. Would stay here again. Perfect for staying in downtown Seattle!

Yelp
Good morning to nothing in the room. Got to step out! Which is perfect opportunity to lounge in the lobby. O while down there... play Blink or other games with a stranger. In a fair location by METRO transit (70) or street car. Walking distance from must places if you like to explore on feet. They offer an ex-small menu of food choices. Free drink at check in. Our room king size bed, farm door and tiny, yet nice. Nothing I repeat nothing like New York! Amenities 24 hour gym. DEE END!

Yelp
TL;DR - The Moxy is fun, cozy, and definitely age appropriate for crowds in the 20's and early 30's, and of course hipper adults. While I was in Seattle for work, I really enjoyed staying at the Moxy, which is a Marriott property! The entrance is on Republican, by the way, which got me slightly confused at first. There's only a small curbside for parking/ pickup/dropoff. The check-in area is actually at the bar! They give you a token to redeem for a drink, and of course if you're a Marriott member you get a chip worth even more. They have a happy hour that is actually super awesome - both early day and late night. They give you free coffee in the morning. The food both in the mornings and the evenings was surprisingly well priced and delish. I stayed on the second floor which was terrible. There is no light! The view was concrete. The showers are a rainfall shower head, and the rooms are no frills. You iron in the hallway (nook of it) but there's a hand held steamer. Overall I would stay again.

Yelp
I have stayed at several Moxy hotels now and have been happy with all of them. Seattle was no different. The neighborhood is apparently dominated by Amazon and/or Google, so it's very millennial and hip. Everyone inside the lobby was working on numerous tech devices at the same time. There is no parking - no valet and no lot. But street parking was easy and there was a garage next door that had reasonable rates. The room was great. Functional. Plenty of room for me while traveling solo. Everything was clean. Free coffee in the lobby all day is great. Staff was friendly. The candy in the elevators was a unique and welcome touch. I will continue to stay at this brand as long as they continue to consistently deliver. At 44 I am definitely on the older side of the clientele, but it's always solid form people watching and the staff has never treated me differently.

Yelp
Overall this hotel has some redeeming qualities. The front desk staff is very nice. Like other Moxy hotels, it has lots of activities and seems like a fun place to hang out. However, I would absolutely not recommend this hotel for a business traveler. The rooms are T I N Y - I got upgraded and still felt like I had less space than at other hotels. I'm told the original room I was supposed to be in didn't even have windows (!). There is no enhanced wifi for platinum+ members. Everybody is on the same wifi speed (though I didn't have any problems necessarily). Even in my upgraded room, my desk was super small - it took me 1-2 nights to even realize it was being advertised as a desk (probably because the desk chair was a backless stool). For platinum+ members, they are honoring requests for the $10 F&B credit upon check-in but the selection is extremely mediocre. For a 5 night stay, they didn't even have bottled water a single night and ran out of gatorades by night 2. There was truly nothing to spend your F&B credit on (unless you like frozen pretzels). The gym had some interesting equipment, including a punching bag (boxing), bike, and your standard gym equipment. Somehow they had no water (?) during my stay though. Overall, Moxy seems like a fun place to hang out! Just not worth the price and headache if you need to get work done.

Yelp
Literally had a reservation here to meet up with my friend my boyfriend and I couldn't go because of work and ferry schedules like etc so I had messaged them a few days in advance to try to get a cancellation and refund it etc. because I have been wanting to stay here for a while. I did not get any response from the hotel then I called left two messages for the manager. They never called me back nor did they respond to any of my emails or anything that I directly sent to them I ended up having to dispute it with my credit card company because they decided to charge me for $200 for not staying there because I never got a response back or else we would've gone and stayed after all because we would've made it work versus getting charge $200 for nothing. They never responded still have yet to respond this day and now my credit card was charged $200 because apparently they submitted information about the cancellation even though they couldn't even take the time to respond to me about the cancellation in the first place and the refund, etc. so unprofessional.

Yelp
The only reason I would give this place a 4 star was I really love the interior/exterior design of this hotel and bar! After doing an escape room with my friends we decided to check out Moxy out and get some food and drinks to end our night. I got the "Got Moxy" drink and that was delicious that I had to get another one! It was the right ratio of alcohol and sweetness. There was a lot of activities and games you can enjoy while you were there, from shuffleboard to different board games you can play with your friends! The only reason that this would of been a 3 star was the food, my friend ordered the bbq wings because it was happy hour and we all ate it and the next day we all had a stomache because the chicken was under cooked, we didn't really know because the bbq sauce was covering the wings. Also we got the tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole, the chips were burnt and there wasn't that much salsa and guacamole to eat with the big amount of chips that they give you. I think the only thing that was good was the nann bread that had hummus, cucumber yogurt dip, and a olive chutney dip. Overall the service was great, the place was super clean and it's a great place to come and relax with all your friends or even stay a night or two!

Yelp
We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with our stay. The decor of the hotel is really fun and trendy. Check in is at the bar - it was easy and welcoming. Next to the bar was a jar of skittles, so we took some of those to go! We received our 2 tokens for drinks that we'd use the second evening. The host for check in was wonderful and pleasant to talk to. We got to know her a little and she was great. The hotel provided toothbrushes and toothpaste that we inconveniently forgot. They held our bags after checkout since checkout was before we needed to leave, and there was no hassle at all. The rooms themselves are small and fun. The only complaints would be somewhat thin walls and the barn-style door for the bathroom somehow allows any bathroom noises to echo loudly instead of be muffled, so that isn't too sexy. Overall those things didn't negatively affect our stay much. We would stay here again given the opportunity.

Yelp
I am a guest at the hotel, with my partner. The room was booked under my partner's name. He left for the gym and I went to grab lunch. When I returned to the hotel I realized I left my key in the room. I shared the situation with Jordan who was at the front desk. He was clearly disinterested in anything I had to say. He was short mannered, condescending and very unhelpful. I told him I had the credit card the room was booked with, my ID and could give a clear idea of what belongings of mine were in the room or any other information necessary to prove I was staying there. He said that the card holder had to be present. I shared the card holder was out and couldn't arrive in time and that I had a conference call to hop on. I asked if the card holder could call him instead. He said no and didn't entertain any further conversation. The next woman behind me had the same issue and he was much kinder to her. Suddenly a phone call to resolve her situation was sufficient for Jordan, just not for me. My partner called a few mins later and only had to give his name and room number for a key to be provided to me. I guess I could have called from my phone to solve the issue. I'm not sure why Jordan immediately shut down my request and why he was so rude, but I felt like this issue couldn't have been handled a lot better. I think a little refresher on how to kindly and appropriately engage the customers would be a great for the Moxy staff.

Yelp
As a solo female traveler I absolutely loved staying at Moxy Seattle! It was conveniently located & the surrounding area felt very safe. I loved the decor and vibe in the lobby area. The room was quiet & clean. The service was excellent, Sky at the front desk was so kind & always went above & beyond to ensure I was comfortable during my stay. The bartender Adam was fantastic, he made amazing drinks & always created a fun atmosphere at the bar. I would 100% stay here again on my next trip to Seattle!

Yelp
We were impressed by Moxy Seattle, especially due to the staff and hospitality (kudos to all staff working from 6/15-6/17). The rooms are a bit smaller and have less in-room amenities than traditional hotel rooms, but they are clean and trendy/modern. The location was central and walkable. The lobby bar was lively and fun. The hotel had everything we needed and more.

Yelp
New. Hip. Modern. Friendly. All of my first impressions at The Moxy have been strong. What's not to love about a newly constructed hotel that focuses on what you need and forgets about things that you don't. Things that simply waste space that you rarely use anyway: large closets, big ironing boards and irons, coffee pots with lame ground beans and more. Don't worry, you still have these amenities...just in a different, smarter way. From check-in at the perimeter of the center bar, to the ample open spaces with cozy furniture and games sprinkled throughout it's main level, you will find a relaxed vibe that actually makes you want to hang out in the common areas. A free cocktail at check-in as well as community Skittles for 24/7 sugar cravings for the win! Rooms have all the right touches. Subway tile in the spacious dual head showers. A full length mirror next to hangers for clothing needs. Shades and blackout curtains for a great night's sleep in the king beds. Tree stump side tables that you want to transport into your own home. And leather touches throughout the room that add a warmth and thoughtfulness in the design. I love a great boutique hotel that thinks through what a traveler wants. Moxy has done just that, and done it well.

Yelp
Four months new and it took just took one night stay to cement this as one of my favorite locations to stay in downtown Seattle. The atmosphere, hip buildout, amazing location and free drink at check in easily sold me. Lithos is a Marriott and I am a gold Marriott level member. However, I was given a room with the view of a shaft and a wall. That was the only downside which I considered knocking a star off of this review. But, everything else was just so good.

Yelp
Moxy is a cute boutique hotel that's in the center of everything! The location is perfectly centered between all of the main attractions & our uber's were no more than $8 per ride. Staff was incredible and happily brought up shampoo, extra towels, and toothpaste when we called down for them. Our room was SO cute and clean. It was such an easy and pleasant experience, I definitely reccomend the Moxy. Cons: - I do wish they provideed free water in the room, but the waters were $3.50 - bed & pillow comfort was 7/10

Yelp
We had the best time at the moxy we were a large group of over 20 people. The staff was amazing Destiny and Adam treated us like family we will stay there every time we visit. It was truly 5 star service.

Yelp
I passed by this place a week ago on my way to brunch and I wasn't sure what it was. It looked super cute and I knew I definitely wanted to come back and check it out sometime. Visited over the weekend for some drinks and I fell in love. This hotel recently opened (about 3 weeks) and their grand opening is taking place on Thursday, 3/29. It's a super cute and chill spot. It was really dead for a Friday night (9-10pm) but obviously because it's still new. It's not located in the liveliest spot in Seattle (South Lake Union) but now days I prefer places like this. Just a chill bar and lounge away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. The greatest thing is easy parking! The bartenders were super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and this place is definitely a legit spot for a nice hangout. I'm looking forward to returning, especially this summer! My friend and I spent about $30 (including tip) on two drinks. A little on the pricier side ($12 for a pretty small cocktail) but I don't mind it for the vibe I got. I'm not into busy night clubs and bars anymore. This is definitely going to be a go to spot for me when I'm feening for a night out!

Yelp
Greatly enjoyed my stay at Moxy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't have parking, but there's a garage right next to it. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Moxy if you're visiting Seattle.

Yelp
Loved this hotel for a change of scenery.... The negative first - parking is a beast. Underground lot is confusing and not convenient. That's basically it. AC worked though it's a ceiling unit, quiet, not super powerful but just fine. The positive? AWESOME vibe. When you walk in, the check in counter is at the bar, and you get a cocktail to welcome you in. Lol! Super new, hip, fun club vibe. Tons of irreverent, playful touches throughout with a seesaw (yes, I rode it) in the lobby, games and lots of collaboration spaces. The room was small, European style, great shower, comfy bed, and just funky and cool. I would 100% stay here again.

Yelp
The Moxy is an okay no frills hotel. The decor is super hipster and cozy. There's a small gym but no pool, hot tub, parking, mini fridge, or kitchen. They do have snacks for purchase at all hours and a nice bar/lounge. You have to ask for your complimentary welcome drinks (they weren't offered). You check in at the bar, which was a first for me. The rooms are small, but comfortable. Our floor was pretty quiet but the walls are really thin. We could hear our neighbor's conversation crystal clear. It's a 25 minute walk to the public market and to the space needle which was convenient, but not a ton in the immediate vicinity. Parking is on the street or the garage next door ($21/day). Would consider staying again, but wouldn't be the top of my list.

Yelp
The fact that you have to iron your clothes in the hallway will be enough for me to never stay in a Moxy hotel again. As a business traveler, I don't think I am asking for much to have an ironing board (even a small one) in your room. Having to wait in line with a bunch of strangers in the morning to iron your clothes before a meeting is the most ridiculous thing Marriott could have come up with in regards to custom service. A low quality hand steamer is provided in the room and does nothing to clothes that have been in a suitcase for a cross country trip. The iron they provide in the hall spits out dirty water that actually stained my white shirt. Marriott, this is a really unpleasant experience that I won't let happen again. I will not be staying at a Moxy ever again.

Yelp
Was a nice, different kind of hotel. The whole setting is different. Not a the usual hotel where you come in and there is a desk to check in, you check in at the bar! Everything is weird, different, but nice. My room had no closet. Small room. The people that work there super nice! No restaurant there.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel located in downtown seattle, really good location close to everything and a very clean hotel. Now to get into the crux of why the three star review. 1. The check in desk was at the bar so when we went to check in it was extremely hard to hear the person checking us in which made the process drawn out and stressful cause it yelling back and forth over the sounds of the car and the music to get our room. 2. The room was incredibly tiny, I know when you get a hotel room it may not always be the biggest or a suite, but this room was so small it didn't have any dressers or places to put clothes other than a few hooks along the tv wall (they were going for a modern theme) the room was cool but it was so small you couldn't really maneuver comfortably in it and you basically had to live out of your suitcase cause there was no place to put any of your clothes. I would stay here again, but I feel like it woulda been good to know all these things prior to booking.

Yelp
Quaint hotel with friendly service. Super cute hotel with modern and clean interiors. Nice little bar at the reception. Everyone was super friendly. The only thing that wasn't working was the ac in the basement gym. It was locked in settings so hotel staff couldn't change it, that made for a very suffocating workout. Oh and the room windows directly look into office windows across the street, so if you forget to close the blinds, they get a peek-a-boo. Apart from that, would easily recommend this hotel.
