Dance floor. Philly cheese and spirits are combined at this low key spot. The owner is present and made everyone feel like a guest of honor. Thanks John! Whoever is reading this should give Moyo restaurant a try because I know you a will have a great Time and get quality food for decent prices. I Love this place

First of all, the customer service is elite. The chef is absolutely amazing , friendly and inviting. This was my first time trying egusi and fufu. Truly I love it! I will say I looked everywhere for a great rated restaurant with good reviews in the area and this was the absolute best option I am blessed to have come by. The Egusi was filled with flavor and the beef was cooked to order and perfect. I will be coming back soon to try a few different items on the menu but 10/10!

Incredible restaurant owner & food. We stopped at Moyo’s after shopping at Scott’s Antique. We tried a little bit of everything on the menu & were beyond pleased EVERY-TIME. The owner was hilarious and entertaining. He is a polyglot & spoke Korean and several other languages to us. He told us about his travels & you could truly tell how passionate he is about the food he makes, and it tasted like love. He was the only employee there and quickly handmade everything for us. He said things get bumpinnn at night 💃 They have a cool lounge in the building and a dance floor with dj booth and disco lights (no strobes) The restaurant is handicap accessible & set up like an old school diner. I loved it & will be back, not only for the food, but also for his sublime customer service.

West African and American cuisine. I really wanted to go outside of the box, but I stuck with a philly cheese steak and some plantains. You will definitely not go hungry here. I was stuffed and I am a bigger person. The plantains were fried perfect and were seasoned which I have not done before. They were great. The bar tender was amazing as well, a sweetheart and very very nice!! Will definitely be back!! Thanks!!!!

Queen was our hostess/ server , who gave a positively warm delightful and delicious dinning experience .Very authentic cuisine the colorful display of peppers on top of the fresh tasting red snapper provided a very delightful experience .

The best African food on the south side very fresh and hot food every time. They have really good customer service the atmosphere is great plays really nice music

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and everything about it was amazing! I had the jollof with chicken. I came in pretty late after a hair appointment and the owner was extremely sweet and personable. The food is amazing, he recommended i come back and try the Egusi and fufu, I will definitely be returning next week!

Beautiful atmosphere, ample spacing, AMAZING food, excellent service. Do I need to say more? As a vegan, going out to eat can be challenging..but Moyo understood the assignment! My vegetarian meal was everything and more. I definitely will eat here again..and again..and again!!! 😋😋🥰🥰

The best okra soup in town if I could give the restaurant higher than 5 stars I would... the service is amazing and you are greeted the moment you walk in . The best thing is that they're open late which is great ! The only thing I would recommend is relocating... it's ducked off kind of hard to find. Otherwise everything is great even the ice tea . I am definitely going back . ( I couldn't wait to eat but the bowl was full ) . Most definitely worth your buck $

Great food. I had the fish and jolof rice. It was very good. Nice place to go and listen to music and eat good food.

I can't believe this place has such a good rating. We stopped for a bite leaving the airport on the way out of town. We made a huge mistake! The food was way overpriced for starters but at least you would think that suggests quality. Wrong. First, the server/chef brought me the wrong dish and then apologized for his mistake saying "he would give me a 20% discount if I still wanted it to go." No matter, I ate the goat dish he served me. The goat was very gamy, probably old and mostly bones. Then when we went to pay, the bill came $40 over what I was expecting. He said the goat was $5 extra per person, but that still doesn't explain $40... eventually he brought the price down to what it said on the menu "so I would be happy" (the dude was hustling me the whole time with language like this). We left, but that wasn't the end of our troubles... stomach problems all the way to our destination.

The food here is well seasoned, and for the most part very authentic. The cook and his daughter Are very hospitable. My only issue is that the platter should have had rice or vegetables with it,and also they are a bit overpriced when it comes to the dinner choices.

The roof top view plus a lovely meal was just what I needed before my flight back to California. The staff was so welcoming and respectful. Everyone there greeted me and checked to see how I liked the food. I ordered the #9 which comes with either chicken or fish, jollof rice, plantains & mixed veggies. The food came out steaming hot so it was definitely made to order. The chicken alone was flavorful, juicy and tender with a golden flaky crust. The red sauce definitely adds a kick, you must try! Now, the plantains had the perfect texture and taste, sweet and chewy around the edges This is my first time having jollof rice but I'm now a big fan. You can taste the authenticity in every bite, especially with hints of tomato and different spices. Even the veggies were well seasoned and paired nicely with everything else. If I ever come back to Atlanta, this will be my first stop.

This place recently moved across street from their old location. Meal was delicious and would highly recommend it!!! Reasonable price and very authentic and staff so friendly!!!

I really enjoyed the ribs. My wife liked her chicken and shrimps. Our friend Catherine enjoyed her steak and shrimps with Mac and cheese along with fries. They were fresh and tasty. We had to wait little longer than usual but they make the order fresh. Worth the wait.

At first concerned being on top of the hotel. Would we like the menu. Well let's just say five stars. Apparently open only for a few months but is worth enjoying. My wife's shrimp was fantastic. I had the ribs and they were the best. Pricing is good. Strongly recommend this restaurant!!!!

The Moyo Grill was really good! We arrived at the hotel around 4pm and were starving. Knowing the restaurant was here we decided to give it a try. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The sweet tea was excellent. We did have to wait a little. It on our food order but that was because it was made fresh to order. I was really impressed and would definitely stay at the hotel again and eat at Moyo's!

Service was straight horrible. My whole table received their food at different times. Only two of us ate at the same time. And it took 15-20 minutes for each person to get their food AFTER the first to people were already done eating. It was only two other tables and i few people at the bar. And the food was just ok definitely NOT worth the wait.

This restaurant SUCKS! My entire family ate separately when we all ordered together including my 3 kids (ages 3,6,7). Adults got our food while kids had to wait over 30 min for theirs. Service was horrible. Would eat gas station food before I eat here again.

Stayed overnight, couldn't experience it. Suppose to be 24/7, where? Then read something that they open at 11am, where? Because 11:15am not a body in sight nor indication they open. Was told GM comes in at 11, guess they running late ‍

I am not sure if we had just arrived on a bad night but I generally felt uncomfortable. There was people running around and swinging from chairs including mine also some kid puked everywhere and the waitress cleaned the floor partly and without washing her hands served us our food and never completely cleaned out the vomit
