MOzern

My friend and I came to MOzern for afternoon tea. The experience was outstanding and probably the best tea we've had together. Our server Jennifer was so attentive and took amazing care of us. We were the only ones having tea on the day we went so we had the area pretty much to ourselves. Looking out at Lake Lucerne was gorgeous while eating our courses. To drink we started with the house special fruit iced tea, then a glass of champagne, and then unlimited hot tea. Choosing our hot tea was very personalized as we were allowed to smell all the teas in the canisters before making the decision. The food was delicious and so imaginative. Everything was served with so much attention to detail. It was the perfect amount of food for lunch, with the classic crustless sandwiches and mini-scones, as well as inventive bites like the goat cheese beet truffle and the sesame chocolate cake. Everything tasted and looked so delicious. I can't emphasize how much I enjoyed this experience and would recommend for anyone wanting afternoon tea in Lucerne! 6/5 stars!!!

MOzern is a perfect place for relaxing & chilled with beers. The service I've had is THE BEST! I would definitely recommend everyone to come here. This is part of the Mandarin Oriental Palace Lucerne. From indoor to outdoor - The manager & and bar tender and the service (everything) is top notch!!! Well done!!!! I would have given a 6 star if there's a choice. But the highest is only a 5 star...

The new Mandarin Hotel in Lucern is located at a prime spot at the lake … the restaurant has lake view …. Very nice service .. fair pricing .. the food was ok …

I really wanted to eat at Mianmo (Japanese restaurant in Mandarin Oriental Luzern), but it was unfortunately temporarily closed during my visit. MOzern was one of the three restaurants inside Mandarin Oriental Luzern. MOzern also doubled as the breakfast restaurant for the hotel guests. We had steak tartare and braised short ribs along with some ice creams. The tartare was savory and the pickled shallots balanced the flavor. The ribs were tender, but it was really small in portion. I wasn't a fan of chocolate ice cream, but the lemon/yuzu one was pretty good. On a side note for breakfast, dehydrated fruits and herbs for non-caffeinated tea options were a thoughtful feature.

MOzern is part of the Oriental Mandarin Palace Hotel. Great service at a posh spot on the side of lake Lucerne. They serve a limited menu with tasty options throughout the day. Prices are on the high side. Recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

Amazing restaurant attached to the Mandarin Hotel with a waterfront atmosphere. Carrot salad and hummus appetizers were delicious. Waiter Fabio offered impeccable service.
