My wife and I randomly walked into this restaurant, not realising it’s listed in the Michelin Guide for both 2023 and 2024.
It wasn’t lunch hour anymore, yet there were still many customers, which was a good sign.
We ordered a seafood glass vermicelli salad, a pad thai, and a Thai-style fish soup. The salad was freshly prepared with crisp, quality ingredients and had a well-balanced, refreshing flavour. The pad thai was slightly on the sweet side for our taste, but overall still quite enjoyable.
The fish in the soup was large—more than enough to make the two of us feel full. The soup itself was outstanding; even the aroma alone was mouthwatering. The fish was soft (not exactly tender), but it absorbed the flavours of the broth nicely. The soup wasn’t overly oily or salty, and you could drink it without feeling overly thirsty or heavy afterwards.
It was a very pleasant surprise and we truly enjoyed our meal here.
