I stopped by Mpanadas early morning on Friday, May 2nd, and let me just say, this place blew me away. I had never even heard of Mpanadas before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially for breakfast. To my surprise, they had a few morning options, and I went for the maple bacon empanada with bacon, egg, and cheese. Easily one of the best breakfast choices I’ve made in a while.
The empanadas were amazing! Super flavorful, perfectly crispy, and surprisingly filling (two had me set for the morning). To drink I got an horchata with oat milk. It was creamy, smooth, and seriously next-level delicious.
On top of the great food, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Gaby, one of the owners. Her energy, friendliness, and good vibes made the experience even better. You can tell there’s heart behind this place.
