Delicious Local Delights in Hanoi – A Must-Try Spot! This was the first restaurant we visited when we arrived in Hanoi, and it truly set the tone for an amazing culinary journey. The seafood pancake (Ban Chieu) was a standout dish. They serve it with an incredible variety of fresh vegetables, perfect for wrapping up the pancake—a fun and flavorful way to enjoy the meal! We also tried the Bun Bo Nam Bo (Southern Vietnamese beef noodle salad), which was equally delicious. The balance of flavors in the dish, with tender beef, fresh herbs, and a tangy sauce, was unforgettable. The restaurant gets very crowded during peak hours, so I highly recommend visiting during off-peak times to avoid the rush. Overall, a fantastic introduction to Hanoi’s vibrant food scene. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the city!

The food was sooo good!!! We enjoyed it a lot. I've never had a banh xeo before so this was a really pleasant surprise for us. I'm really happy we had our breakfast here. It was really easy to order because there was a menu in English and the staff also spoke English. I'll definitely come back here again when we visit Hanoi again. I'll also recommend this to my friends who will be going to Hanoi 🫶

Despite how attractive the food look. It doesn’t taste good and over price. 5 sticks shrimp cost 175k, served at room temperature. No service after taken your order.

Delicious!! If you look in and it looks too full, it’s not! They’ve got an upstairs area :) The food is stunning and (we got the fried rice vegetarian pancake and sautéed vegetables) very light. Highly recommend if you’re food-hopping. Enjoy ;)

Amazing food. I really can say that they deserve their Michelin Bib Gourmand rating. Ban Xeo is a must. The other food to order, at your own will. Customer service is top notch. A must try when you are in the area.

Spring rolls were tasty but the pancake was pretty bland. Maybe this is intentional because you’re supposed to dip it into the sauce but I was expecting more flavour given the many positive reviews. 1 pancake is definitely enough to share between 2. There was also no running water in the toilet upstairs which wasn’t great. Service was friendly and efficient though

Best banh xeo I’ve had in Vietnam, even compared to the ones I ate in Saigon. Perfect filling to batter ratio and it stayed nice and crispy as time went on. Their other dishes were really good too, but the banh xeo was definitely the star. Banh xeo - 115k Banh khot - 85k Nem nuong - 20k per piece

I recently visited a delightful Banh Xeo restaurant in the bustling heart of Hanoi, and it was quite the experience. The place may be small, but everything is freshly made to order, which is a plus. The herbs served were fresh and vibrant, and the Banh Xeo itself had a wonderfully crispy texture with just the right balance between batter and filling. While it might not have been the absolute best Banh Xeo I've encountered in Vietnam, I would definitely rank it in my top three. We also gave the Banh Khot a try, but I was a bit let down—it was too oily for my taste. On a brighter note, the owners were incredibly friendly, and the prices were reasonable. If you're in the area, don't forget to stop by the next door place for some refreshing nuoc Mia (sugar cane juice), available for just 15k VND a cup!
