Great chicken stir fry and Mediterranean salad. Went in the afternoon and had great service and food came fast. Only complaint is the parking on the streets of Rochester is pricey, no fault of the restaurants.

We had my son's 1st Birthday here in their back room. Everything went perfect. From my first call to paying our bill, the staff was very professional and courteous. We had a dedicated server, Angel, and she was very accommodating and provided everything we needed. The food was delicious. There were several comments from our guests about how good the pizza was and I agree. If you're planning a party with 30-40 people, I would definitely recommend this Mr B's location.

It is crazy to me this place has some bad reviews. I went here before walking around for the lights and yes it was packed but we were seated fairly quickly. I split a burger and it was delicious. Maybe I am old school and like a little flavor and grease in my burger but I thought it was great. Also, I must compliment our waitress, aside from it being so packed she was always there refilling our drinks!

This place has gone down hill. Remember coming with my parents as a child and it was always a fun place to dine. Recently took my family and such a disappointment! The food was okay, but nothing special. The service was horrible, our server was slow and more interested in chatting with her co workers than making sure her tables we attended to. Nobody could be bothered to clear our plates after my salad or main course. Another server was very vocal about criticizing other patrons in the main dinning area for all to hear. We won't be back!

The food was surprisingly fantastic (shrimp and sweet potato fries) as was the pineapple cider, that was a complete win. They were very accommodating for our large party and even turned up the music from the jukebox which was nice as we were there after a friend's funeral and really wanted to hear music that reminded us of her. The waitstaff checked on us regularly despite being the for a rather long time. Bathrooms were pleasantly clean. Parking was a bit of a challenge although there may be a lot that I didn't know of.

Never will I go here again! My hamburger was a sloppy greasy mess without the toppings it was supposed to come with. The paper it was wrapped in was completely saturated in grease and the bun fell apart when I attempted to pick it up. I ordered it medium. Parts of it were raw and the other parts well done. My dad had the yellow fin tuna with visibly whittled lettuce and stale chips. And that's not even the worst part. I had a gift certificate that I received from a Lowe's event back in March. I heard a manager of some sorts saying that I forged the certificate. We were sitting at the other end of the restaurant and clearly heard of the acquisition as did everyone else throughout the restaurant. I posed this to our server who was very nice and she said that they were talking about someone else. Not true but still very unprofessional. I used to eat at the royal oak location which never I never had a problem. Now they lost my business for good.

Mr B's in Rochester is a great bar and grill to go to with your friends and even family especially the little ones. Great food and drink selection for it being a small bar and grill. Lots of entertainment as well, TVs, Jukeboxes to play specific music wanted by the customer, many arcade and tabletop games to play. This location is also great for big parties.. Lots of seating.. Nice bathrooms as well.. They also have a banquet room in the back for private events. I wrote this review specifically because I was hired by a contractor at this location to clean it often. The contractor failed to pay what he owed me for cleaning the establishment. I am writing this review and giving 5 stars because the owner/manager Holly went out of her way to pay me what the store contractor owed me. Thank you Holly for being so nice and for going out of your way to make the situation right. I really appreciate it. I will be returning here with friends and family members in the near future to order a lot of food and drinks. :) Thank you again Holly!

The service was excellent! Our waitress came around often to see if there was anything else we needed. The burgers were great and cooked perfect! Mr B's atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable. I recommend it highly!! Thank you for a great time and even better meal!

First, they were open and serving at 8:30, which we thought was a reasonable weeknight hour to make a dinner run to Rochester, MI. We came, enjoyed welcoming waitstaff with a smile. She served us very good burgers and some great french fries...I especially liked them because they were not coated (gluten issue for me); they were perfect and crisp. It was clean, open and echoing, but we were about the only ones there, so it wasn't bad. We will be back.

I came here with a friend and my sister for brunch. My friend raved about it but never actually dined here, just hung out on the rooftop. This place used to be Mr. B's back in the day, so glad it's a bar & grill. I wanted to love this place, but could not cling to the interior, food, or service. First, we wanted to eat on the rooftop, but it was closed until 4 PM. Why have a rooftop when it doesn't open until later? The interior is FAR from what a bar and grill is, and of course, it's the basic grey, white, + black. The service sucked; our waitress was beyond nice but lacked attentiveness. Also, my friend had gum on her face, and it was smeared all over the place. Call me dramatic, I almost threw up. My drink was not refilled, and the waitress brought boxes but failed to bring containers for dressings and soup. Also, never put in my sister's soup order. I ordered the Michigan Cherry Salad with Crispy Chicken; it was good, but I thought the $20 for a salad was pricey. Now that I checked out this place, would I come back to it? I do not think so. Would I recommend it for folks to dine at? Sure. My experience and opinions are way different from other folks.

I wanted to go to the downtown Rochester Hills area to see the Christmas lights so we decided to pop into this place to eat first. The service was great and the food was excellent. The eggrolls were definitely a little bit spicy. Not too bad, but if that kind of thing bothers you, you should be aware. The Cajun pasta was excellent and not spicy at all. I also had a Caesar salad salad, not pictured. Between the appetizer and the salad, I barely made it done in my pasta, so I got a whole other meal out of it! The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that it is a sports bar so it was very loud. I probably should've been expecting that, but I wasn't and it was very hard to keep up a conversation with my friend.

We came here to Rochester before the lighting of the town and the arrival of Santa. So we stopped in 423 Main Bar Grill to get a bite to eat. We had to wait a about 20 minutes to have the hostess help us and 2 other guests. They asked if we had reservations and when we said no they said they were not taking any walk in traffic. That was after waiting all that time for the hostess. All 3 groups of guests were angry we had to wait to be turned away. If they said they were full from reservations, I would've understood but just saying that they didn't take any walk-in. Traffic was kind of a strange response. Besides the fact that the place was not full. We went down the street to the hibachi restaurant with no reservation and they found a table for us and it was only two of us.

Delicious!!! The lamp chops are to die for! And the steak bites with the sauce is just amazing! It's a must!!!

Was excited walking in because it had a cool vibe but service was slow even with the number of staff that were walking around. Our table got a variety of things but our server seem to be confused with basic questions when we asked about items on the menu. Burger was flavorful and filling but would probably stick to appetizers and drinks next time

I'm normally not a sports bar fan, but this is more than just a sports bar. The ambience was a little more elegant, and the food was a little less sports bar-ish. The Wait staff was very friendly and it is a quite large space if you have a large group. We shared the Spinach dip and the double smash burger. The spinach dip was homemade and you can tell that that flour tortillas chips were freshly done. Both were some of the best I've had. I'm so glad we shared the Smashburger because it's quite a large portion and it came with your choice of a side. We chose the waffle fries, which not many places have them, and they were absolutely delicious. Everything was very fresh and non-greasy, which is not usually a norm at a sports bar.

The most awesome bar in downtown Rochester, always a great group of people and the rooftop is the best! Best place to enjoy a fun evening with friends while enjoying the awesome food and drinks. My favorite dish is the Chicken Tender platter, the super nachos are HUGE so make sure to share! Nena is the best waitress and always greets you with a smile. Great addition to the Rochester downtown lineup.

Packed the night before thanksgiving - but still had attentive service. The seasonal dessert cocktails were a fun and festive addition to the menu, and I loved my fried fish sandwich. They stored a cake we brought for a birthday and brought it out to cut.

I came to this restaurant when I came to see the Christmas lights in Rochester. The inside is pretty much like a sports bar restaurant. There are a bunch of tvs around playing sport games. The food was decent, I got a chicken burger which wasn't bad. The service was good and pretty fast .

Another wonderful dinner. This time, I enjoyed the steak bites recommended by our server. Bre was cheerful and attentive. Had a great time!

We ate on the rooftop deck. The vibes were fantastic during sunset. The service was a little slow, but the drinks and food were worth it

Great food and great customer service!! It's a nice family friendly establishment. My favorite appetizer was the ceviche! It was so fresh! I also love their salads. We will definitely be back!

We visited yesterday for a very special celebration for a good friend . The wait staff was uninformed of our parties large reservation but the bartender and her staff rocked it! they created a great space for us and we enjoyed a private buffet that was delicious ! I do not know the bartenders name but I made sure I complimented her privately on making a difficult situation a positive experience. This team is also trying to cope with a loss in their family and I understand. Thank you all for your professionalism . I do not have pictures but I would not hesitate to try anything on the menu. The food was delicious!

Food and drink is okay - outside seating is nice. However the staff is almost always rude

Another five star worthy trip to 423 Main. This place has become a regular stop as the service is always amazing and the food is consistently fantastic. Favorite dishes: Chicken Caesar Wrap Garlic Chicken Pita Chicken Fajitas

A very nice place. The restaurant wasn't too busy when Crystal took the time to explain happy hour. She was very pleasant and I appreciated her hospitality. The hamburger slider is just what I wanted but the menu had many food items to choose from. The beer choices and prices were great and I will be back for more. Nice local customers to talk to as well. Crystal cashed me out before she went home. a photo of her and Laura. Laura didn't wait on me but we talked and she was very friendly. I look forward to the next visit.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Under its new management, 423 Main has been revitalized. Upon arrival you are welcomed with a warm friendly smile. The food here is nothing short of exceptional. Their menu offers options for every guest. My favorite thing about 423 Main is every dish made is from scratch using fresh, high quality ingredients. They also offer a wide variety of cocktails. Throughout our evening the service was attentive making sure our glasses were never empty. Such a great place to meet up with friends and family. Definitely recommend to all looking for a top notch dining experience. Oh and their rooftop is the coolest place to be on the weekends. They have a live DJ that plays current hits and classic songs that keeps the crowd dancing all night long. The ambiance is sophisticated yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for socializing.

Food is always fresh and great ingredients. Service is attentive and cares. The ambiance is industrial but chic. The light fixtures are on trend. I'd recommend to anyone with kids for an early dinner or a night time girls / guys night!

This sports bar has a game day vibe to it. Our server was new, but very attentive. We ordered the a few different things I think it was all fairly priced. The food was very flavorful, and good portions.

From excellent food surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere (the rooftop in the summertime is a great spot) and topped off with the best service. I bring my family there, meet with friends there and have been part of many big group gatherings there...they have it all covered! A locally owned #1 spot in Downtown Rochester hands down!... oh, and a newer, convenient and well lit parking deck is located directly behind the establishment. I believe it's still the first or second hour free of charge...or metered street parking if you can find one.

This was a little underwhelming. I stopped in for the happy hour. My bartender was a little standoffish at first but she warmed up a little later. No biggie I guess. I did want to try the pizza but I wanted something like a supreme with all the veggies and meats but they didn't have anything like that so I just got a drink and left. I see no reason to come back.

We were here near the end of summer when we were told that ownership had changed. It was an absolutely terrible experience and we were both disappointed and never came back. We decided to give it another try, and we're pleased to see the name and the branding had changed. The ambiance and quality of the food had not changed. The menu was quite similar to the previous one. But the service was so much better this time. I'm looking forward to coming back to the rooftop bar in the summer to see if the service up there has improved because that's where they had the real issues. Fingers crossed because this used to be a favorite spot in this area!

Before we visited 423, we read the reviews. Most bad reviews were from bad service so we decided to give it a chance. The food looked good in the pics after all. We noticed a lot of young waiters and did have a few things go wrong like the tables smelled like dirty water and I was given utensils with stains on the napkin. Since we knew what to expect we were not put off. The food was really good. The fried fish sandwich (not real name) was delicious. Sweet potato fries were great and Cesar salad had real parm shavings. So overall, OK service, great food.

423 Maine completely blew me away. For a sports bar, the food is incredible--honestly better than many sit-down restaurants I've been to. The menu is super creative, with a mix of Mexican-inspired and Middle Eastern-inspired dishes that are full of flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve. The vibe is casual and fun, the service is great, and the prices are totally reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely a hidden gem. I'll be back again and again!

I came here for my birthday with a long time friend. Instantly, I knew it would be a great night. Emma was awesome. Courtney held down the fort taking care of us. Erika was the best part. Will be back.

I normally wouldn't do this but this is the second time my family and I have had a bad experience with the same server. I don't know her name but she served us last night downstairs and has dark hair and dramatic eye makeup. She is very rude and unpleasant. She was also very inattentive and seemed like she just didn't want to be there. I seriously recommend that she goes through some more training or finds a new job that doesn't involve working with people. Otherwise, food and ambiance were awesome!!

Owners here are very down to earth, very humble. They have continued to come to our table each time to greet us with a handshake and smile. The food is fantastic, always ordered something different and each time it's been great! Great sports bar, TV and sound systems are clear and visible no matter where you sit! Very highly recommend

Time for a countdown... 4. 3. 2. 1. Happy new years!!!! Actually the name is in reference to the street address. How clever!! I wonder if the new owners did some brainstorming. My guess is the conversation went like this: "Yo, what should we name the new restaurant??" "IDK, don't we pay an outside vendor for that stuff??" "No silly, too expensive, we got this, ok, what comes to mind?" "Well...we are in a city and it's a bar...City Bar?" "No, too close to the previous name". "Hmmmm, your name starts with a B...what about Mrs. B's??" "No, again, to close to a previous name of this place" *Awkward Silence* ""I got it!!" Let's just name it the address??" "Yes!!!!!" "Done" And scene.... Yep, that's my guess, so go for the beer and burgers and good service and ambience they do have a game room so sweet?? - give them a name for the next restaurant which will occupy this space and get 10% off your next bill!! Yay!!!

Being that this a local joint to me and somewhere I have gone through the years under other names and love their rooftop deck, I have to say this current ownership has to look hard at their service levels. I have been there four times. 1st time sat down for 10 minutes after being seated by a hostess at 5pm and we never saw a server yet they were not yet busy. We got tired of waiting as we tried to try this place as they opened but with so many options in town we opted to try another newly opened place around the corner. Then my second visit with a friend we had better service and food was decent. This visit with friends I ordered the Michigan Salad but they served it with a curry chicken. That combo was horrible together but with how long it took to get I just ate it vs waiting for correct grilled chicken breast. The past week I was back with my family for Trivia night and my wife and daughter went for trivia last week as well. I understand the waitress we had this week was the same as last week and both weeks we had to go to the bar for pitcher of water or drink refills, we never had plates removed from table. Seems there needs to be some more training done on servicing tables, bussing tables, and being timely for your customers. I had the Baha tacos (Mahi) and they stuffed full and had good flavor. So I have to say the food has been good when I had eaten here and I hope they can get the service up so they can stay open. BTW the guy doing trivia does a great job and makes Wednesday night out a fun time with friends and family. Just need that service and I can give a 4 or 5 star review.

Our waitress disappeared for easily 20 mins. Never brought napkins or silverware, but thanks bus boy. Food was OK. At least the TVs were on with good college football games.

The food was so yummy. Went for lunch and the service was quick and burger was delicious. Also a little tip: if you ask if they can season your fries they can do truffle and/or garlic fries. The garlic ones were so good

Weve attended 423 many times and we had a wonderful time every time! The food is phenomenal, with lively and energetic ambiance, upbeat music and the service was exceptional. Whether you are there for a couples night, out with friends or as a family, this is the place to go! Highly recommend this restaurant!

The food and vibes are always wonderful! We've been many times with our kids and also as a night out for us parents, and it's always the best time! The 423 salad is 10/10!!! Also attending some private events here and they do a great job!! Best addition to our Rochester community!

I had the steak fajitas and they were pretty good. Nothing spectacular but still filling and tasty. I sat outside on the rooftop patio and it was a beautiful day. Service was great. The drink selections are really good. I will definitely be back and would recommend as a great date night spot.

The staff alone made all our day! It was 8 of us going for dinner to celebrate my nieces graduation from OU and from the start we had an amazing experience. I truly want to say thank you for each one of the staff members that took care of us. Everyone from the servers taking our order and the servers bringing food out, also replenishing the drinks without asking. I'm so glad we chose to come here for the celebration dinner. Thank you for the great dining experience, definitely a place to keep in mind as a go to when wanting something quick and special. Not your ordinary bar and grill place by far! I wish I had taken pics of all the amazing food we had but trust me we ordered many different dishes and it all tasted amazing!!

Best food with the absolute worst service. This restaurant doesn't know how to operate. You won't be acknowledged when you visit the host stand. You'll sit in the lobby and stare at open tables for an hour before they decide to seat you there. They service the rooftop first and foremost and you'll wait an hour and a half for your food in the main dining room, even though you're the only table in there. And don't even think about getting anything comp'd when you finally get your food. Carry out is just as bad. Don't dare order a burger bc you'll only receive a hamburger on a bun. No CLOTP. The next time you remember and reiterate you want cheese, you'll get a burger with cheese on a bun bc apparently LOTP doesn't come automatically and god forbid the girls ask you if you want it. I got so fed up today, I left and got pita way. Shout out. Unfortunately the food is so goddamn good that I keep coming back but for the love of god, fix your operations! Sincerely, a hangry customer

Dined on the rooftop. We enjoyed the atmosphere and I personally really appreciated that there is a restroom located on the rooftop. I assumed I would have to walk back downstairs. The music/ playlist was very good. We sang Along with every song lol my margarita could have been better, but the appetizers we ordered were all pretty solid. We ordered bbq chicken flatbread, chicken egg rolls, and boneless Buffalo wings. All pretty basic items but they tasted really good, especially the boneless wings. I really like the batter on them. They seemed homemade and not some frozen bagged chicken like most places. I'll definitely return and try some other menu items.

Our family loves 423 main! The amazing food and drinks are what keeps bringing us back but also what makes this place special is the service is top notch. From the moment you are greeted you can tell everyone there works really hard to make sure you have a great time. We come here regularly and are always impressed with how everyone goes above and beyond!

The bar itself was quite nice inside. Seemed clean and was greeted promptly. The reason they are only getting 2 stars instead of 5 is due to the bartender. The tall read headed woman behind the bar (she never gave her name. Wonder why) seemed to have gone out of her way to use the n word as many times as possible. I was simply enjoying a drink and appetizer with my girlfriend and she wanted to use that time to rant about her vile opinions. Will not return while she's employed.

My husband and I stopped in to share an appetizer. Their menu has the average "American" appetizers you would kind of expect. I wouldn't say anything was new or inventive but we went with the super nachos. The serving size was huge for two people, probably a great appetizer for six people but for just two it was a full meal. We were both happily surprised with the quality and flavors, we went with the chicken and black bean option. The salsa and queso were great! Will be back to explore more of their menu.

Outstanding! Our soccer team was in town and we had the most incredible experience here. Service, food, atmosphere was over the top. Thank you so much to Angie and the entire team at 423!

Food is good and comes out fast. 3 star rating based on service. We had a reservation and were seated promptly but waited 10 minutes before asking for a server. The assigned server seemed annoyed by the whole situation. I felt we spent more time worrying about service than enjoying the meal.

Delicious! New owners new menu. Fish tacos (Baja) were great! Great Greek salad and avocado tacos too.

We had a big group looking for somewhere to go between games in a local hockey tournament. They accommodated every one of us, managed checks by jerseys number and the wait for our food was not long. The food and service was great! Lots of healthy choices for the team. Recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich- one of the best I've had. Great taco variety and the chips and guacamole were homemade and so yummy. Definitely recommend!

My friends and I went to grab a beer here a Friday night. Our waitress was super nice and had a really nice conversation with her (I don't remember her name but I do remember her family lives in Pearl River, NY). One of my buddy's was super thirsty and drank like 5-6 cups of water (he's still alive) and she just kept those water cups coming. The place wasn't too crowded or loud. We sat inside, next time I will make sure to go and see the rooftop.
