In need of a lunch spot, my husband took me here. It was as good as the first time he's eaten there. They have a reasonable lunch special that includes a cup of delicious Peruvian chicken soup. We both had the fish in lemon sauce, also delicious. I chose rice and fried plantains for my sides; he had the tostones and yucca. These were among the best I've ever had. We ate outside on the sidewalk, it was just fine. Parking is a challenge, you have to search on the side streets, but you can find it.

Google
Quick service and great food overall. The ladies taking care of us were great. We got Chicha morada, tostones rellenos de crab, jalea mixta and causa de pollo. Everything 10/10 but the chicha morada 5/10. We are definitely returning!

I dined solo at Mr Ceviche Peruvian Restaurant and had an incredible 5-star experience! The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with authentic Peruvian flavors. The vibrant ambiance and warm, attentive staff made me feel right at home. A must-visit for delicious cuisine! I’ll be back!

Great service and great food. We ordered more than we could eat (but took it to go). Fish tasted really fresh, great pisco. Maybe the only lower note is about the fish in the rice that was a bit hard (seemed just overcooked).

I was walking by and saw this place. It looks really cute from the outside- very low key. It wasn’t very crowded during lunchtime. Ordered the pulpo y camaron ($23.99) and it was delicious. I thought the servings were much larger than other places that I’ve been around here. The service is really good too. It came out quick. I would return and recommend to friends.

To be honest, I had a hard time being impressed with food in Miami but Mr. Ceviche is crazy delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are a bit expensive but it is really worth it bc the food is quality. The staff is very welcoming and nice. I really like the Chicha Morada ❤️ and the yuca fries. The fish is fried perfectly. The soup that comes with the lunch special is savory and I was scraping the bowl lol. The ceviche is also without a doubt fresh tasting and flavorful. 👍 Thank you !

We have lived in Edgewater for awhile but I had never been to Mr. Ceviche before. My mistake for taking so long to go there - it’s terrific! We went for an early dinner. Service and hospitality were great - and the food is super! Shrimp and squid ceviche were fresh, large, tangy and refreshing. The empanadas appetizer was filled with excellent chicken. I love causas, and the shrimp causa did not disappoint, with the potatoes and sauce blending together perfectly. Lomo saltado was the same: I don’t know what they do to get their beef so tender, but tender it is. I’ll be back there soon.

WOW! This is one of the best restaurants I have been to! We came here on a Sunday afternoon and as soon as we walked in, I knew we were in for a treat. The decor was so neat and you literally felt like you were in Latin America. All of the staff was kind and attentive. For our meal we had the Ceviche de Pulpo, Aji de Gallina and Chaufa de Carne. Everything was so incredible delicious! There is no doubt that I would come back if I am ever in the area again.

Yelp
Very interesting Peruvian restaurant. We ordered bunch of classic dishes. They were all delicious. The ambiance is very nice and welcoming too. The only thing was the service was not very good. We had to wait a long time for pretty much everything . That's why I gave it 4 stars for this visit

Yelp
Food was great, it was a cool night so we sat outside comfortably. Nice ambiance. Small restaurant only a couple of employee the chef came out and took our order since they just sat a large party. So have patience it's worth it. The line at the door didn't stop so you know it's good. The fish [pescado a lo macho] was delicious, the sauce was the best part. My husband enjoyed his churrasco steak. Note if you order the side salad only oil and vinegar available or ranch dressing. We also had the trio ceviche which came with 3 different kinds of ceviche. Loved it! It was fresh, lots of lime and they gave us a spicy sauce that paired great with the acidity of the lime. Can't wait to come back and try some causas and lomo saltado.

Yelp
We needed a little Sunday pick-me-up and decided to swing by to give this place a try. We were craving a light lunch so we opted for the choritos a la chalaca and the ceviche mixto. The ceviche was delicious, fresh, and a good size. I really enjoyed the flavor, it was very lemony. The choritos were also good but I think it was missing a little onion. We also ordered a passion fruit juice that was so fresh and delicious as well. While we were enjoying our meal, we noticed plates that were being brought out, they were huge! The portions on some of the hot plates that we saw were plenty to share and definitely made us want to swing by this place again. There is also parking around back in a garage with an entrance to the restaurant from the back. Make sure to call ahead if you are with a large group since this restaurant is smaller in size.

Yelp
This is a nice spot for some authentic Peruvian food close to many residential areas in Edgewater. We've enjoyed the fish and mixta ceviche, mahi mahi and yucca along with the tostones rellenas with shrimp and fish ceviche. There's some limited beer and wine options, so more would be nice.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my dinner here. Just happened to be walking by and noticed a 4-7 Tuesday evening 50% off, so I gave it a try! Sat outside at the tables along Biscayne Blvd. Was greeted and served by a lovely young college aged student. I ordered Chaufa (seafood) and YUCA. The plate size was huge! Sometimes at 50% off you get small plates (tapas). No sir, this was the real deal! I recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
The servers here are kind, but I have nothing good to say about the food. The fish was not fresh, and everything just tasted wrong. My group of friends and I LOVE ceviche, we love Peruvian cuisine, and we were super excited to try this restaurant. We literally walked 35 minutes in Miami heat to get here. Lomo saltado- Huge portion, but the flavors aren't there. It was kind of bland, and the meat was really really chewy. There were fries. They were placed at bottom and just got soaked. Pulpo al olive- We wanted to try a fun sounding dish. Oh man this wasn't it. The sauce did not taste like olive; it tasted kind of like sweat. The octopus itself was fine, though, so we just wiped off the sauce and ate it. Ceviche- We ordered the ceviche mixto and the salmon avocado ceviche. The ceviche mixto was alright. It tasted like just lime. Nothing else but lime. The fish was labeled as just "fish", and it wasn't very fresh, but it wasn't offensive. Now... the salmon avocado ceviche. DON'T GET THIS! After we ordered this, we actually got a tuna ceviche the first time. None of us like tuna, and we debated just keeping it, but we decided to ask for our original dish. Wrong decision. This is where the suspicions started. The moment we waived our hands over and pointed at the fish, the waitress immediately knew that the dish was incorrect and brought the dish back. After like 20 minutes, the salmon avocado dish came out. Nononono--why was the salmon half cooked? It was either 1) sitting out in the heat or 2) microwaved slightly to cover the taste. It tasted super old, warm, and honestly disgusting. After one bite each, we couldn't stomach it anymore. I'm not sure if this was because salmon isn't a popular fish in Peruvian cuisine, which could honestly be our bad for ordering it, or if it was just negligence on the kitchen's part, but please do not serve this.

David D.

Yelp
Food is always tasty, well made and delicious. Service is great and the servers are very friendly.

Yelp
Nice in & out restaurant with good service. They definitely don't skimp you out on the food here. You will be full! I recommend the beef with rice and fries. It's was really good and easier to chew vs the chicken version. Everything was good! The ceviche tostones cups are a must'!

Leonard O.

Yelp
This is the second chance I give to this place, and always make mistakes with my food. I paid for an octopus ceviche and I received this from the happy hour menu. Never again

Marvin M.

Yelp
Manager is very rude, horrible customer service, he was getting mad over me asking some questions.
google avatar

Gwen S.

Yelp
The inside was really cool. I liked the ambiance very picture friendly. The waitresses were nice, but didn't speak much English but they and we worked though it. They automatically put a tip on the bill. It's a little confusing so you might actually double tip them. So just be careful.

Cesar V.

Yelp
One of the BEST overall restaurants in Miami!! The food is amazing, the service is impeccable. A must go while in the midtown area.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Absolutely delightful, perfect environment for delicious Peruvian cuisine. I loved the skirt steak and sangria. The owners are very kind and take pride in their relationships with customers.
google avatar

Martha C.

Yelp
Too many good things on the menu to choose from! I ended up with a house sangria which was nice and refreshing. And splitting yuca and salmon avocado ceviche with my friend. The fried rice looked delicious and I'll be sure to be back for more on the fish and cooked menu. I sat outside where the staff expertly navigated the afternoon Edgewater sun with various blinds that made the space cozy and sheltered.

Yelp
Great food. Very friendly service. Fresh, delicious, great recommendations. Pescado and Tuna Avocado civeche were top notch h.
google avatar

Sid B.

Yelp
I only tried two things here, the soup and the fish ceviche. The soup was really good, but the fish ceviche was awful. The problem was the sauce, it was extremely bitter, I think it was from the lime juice being from unripe limes, and there was just way too much of it, so it was overpowering the whole flavor. Normally, I love the ceviche sauce, to the point where at the end I drink it.
google avatar

Ashley Y.

Yelp
This restaurant is an absolute neighborhood gem and I cannot wait to come back. The food is superior, I thought the Leche De Tigre Ceviche was the best I've ever had with an insane amount of flavor. Everything we ordered was phenomenal including the fresh juices. The Rosotto was literally to die for. We sat outside this time but the inside is decorated very nicely. They even have happy hour Tuesday-Friday. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Some of the best Ceviche in Miami. Try the Ahi Amarillo. Very generous portions, enough for 2!
google avatar

Kelvin E.

Yelp
I love the fact that the food came out really fast and tasted really good. It's a in and out spot, nice and chill enough to go grab some good food on your break from work.
google avatar

Carol L.

Yelp
The ceviche was decent here nothing to write home about.. The staff was more preoccupied with socializing then servicing the tables. The staff was not very friendly or welcoming and never refilled the water glasses without us going to them and asking for a refill.
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
I love Ceviche so decided to try this restaurant. Absolutely delicious!!! Fresh, tasty and generous portions. The service was fast, friendly and very attentive ... 100% recommend and will definitely go back !!!

Yelp
This place is terrible, don't waste your time and money. Lunch special $17 and the rice smelled like they didn't wash it, the chicken that came with the lunch special was tiny and of course I let them know because I thought it was a joke all they did was laugh at me. Terrible service. Their fish soup tasted like water only decent thing was their shrimp ceviche. I will never come here again. $80 for terrible food that I didn't even eat.
google avatar

Anthony T.

Yelp
Very welcoming, we arrived with 2 minutes left to happy hour and they honored it without hassle. The food was amazing , staff efficient, and portions on point. The Lomo Saltado was delicious.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
The Peruvian restaurant decor is very cute. The lemonade is homemade, very refreshing. The dishes were okay, they were missing that yum factor. Definitely needs more seasoning. Compared to other Peruvian places, this place needs to step it up.

Erin B.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent. We had the lomo saltado, mahi mahi en cremo de crangrejo, the pescado a lo macho, an order of the fish and shrimp ceviche, and a side of plantains. All were absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Love this spot for casual dinner any day of the week. Fresh ceviche and great service. I would stick to the name sake vs the lomo.

Yelp
I have tried many types of food. From Korean to Venezuelan, but nothing compares to the Peruvian delicacies I savored at Mr. Ceviche on Biscayne boulevard. Chef Tommy is a master of the Peruvian cuisine. His spin on the South American country's classic dishes is spectacular. A simple fish ceviche is elevated to a masterpiece by adding sweet potatoes and corn, simple and elegant. As a whole, I strongly recommend Mr. Ceviche. An authentic Peruvian restaurant with amazing food and welcoming staff. Jose G. Carrasco

Yelp
5 stars in not enough! What an experience! Peruvian food is one of my favorites, and Mr Ceviche stole my heart. I had red snapper (a whole fish!) and my friend had Pescado a lo Macho(fish topped with seafood ) wow wow wow. The staff is very attentive and super nice. The owner is of course Peruvian and so is his wife, and so the food is authentic too. The place is so cozy and beautiful. And prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended. Definitely coming back when in Miami area. Ahhh, Dont forget to try Peruvian beer. cheers !

Leida G.

Yelp
Best lunch spot if you're in a hurry. Simple and delicious food, very fresh ingredients and service is always on point.
google avatar

Becky S.

Yelp
I don't write many reviews but as a professional private chef who is super picky about flavor, i must say this place hits all the marks. it's a casual spot, don't expect white tablecloths but the service is 5 star and the food is awesome. we will be going back soon! everything on point. We had the seviche trio, octopus and lomo saltado. all extremely delicious! can't wait to go back! oh and the black beans. simply delicious. eat here and ask for the best server ever, Ursula!!

Yelp
Mr Ceviche Peruvian Restaurant on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami has delicious and well prepared Peruvian food. I really like everything that I have tried on the menu so far and the atmosphere that they create here. The staff here is excellent and makes sure that you have a good meal.
google avatar

David A.

Yelp
if you want cheaper Peruvian, it exists if you want to travel to other parts of town, but this is quite convenient for us so we figured we would give it a shot, especially with recent yelp reviews. The service was fast and attentive. The salmon sashimi was good and massive, though you could argue Tony Chan's water club has slightly better quality fish. The chaufa with steak was very, very good and the lomo soltado may be the best on Biscayne Blvd, impressive with all the competition. Most importantly, the ingredients were fresh and did not have additives like typical American restaurants which makes it not even taste authentic at that point. Definitely will go back, but again, not particularly cheap though par for the course in Miami.

Yesenia M.

Yelp
This my first time, I brought my family to celebrate my mom 93 birthday for 14 people. I was great full that way we where treated like family. The food was great the service also great, I really recommend this place to anyone.

Glenn M.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing! I was staying next door at the Hilton and I'm so glad we randomly decided to walk in. Both dishes were top notch and sooo delicious. This place was so good I regretted eating at other restaurants on my trip and I ate at some really upscale restaurants. Next time I am in town I think I might just eat here everyday! We had the meringue desert and it was also very very tasty. I even forgot my cell phone on the table and the waitress ran out and gave it to me and saved my day. The staff is super friendly and they have a nice setup inside. After returning home I have been searching for great Peruvian food and just can't find this quality, I've been to 4 highly rated restaurants and they just can't compete. This place is the spot to go to. Their Chaufa de Pollo is to die for! If you haven't tried this place you are missing out! Eat here!!!!
google avatar

Michael Y.

Yelp
Yikes - the price increase on the food is crazy. I don't mind paying more for quality, but don't raise the prices and deliver a lower quality product. Lomo was beyond tough and chewy. It seems like a totally different experience from our last visit.
google avatar

Naomi S.

Yelp
The salmon avocado ceviche was massive and incredible: 10/10 and would order again. I really enjoyed my fish dish in tomato sauce with a side of rice and yucca. My partner enjoyed his lomo Salgado, although I didn't think the steak tasted particularly fresh. Portions were big, and service was good. Nice spot to have in the neighborhood.

Biridiana J.

Yelp
We were on our way to brunch and me and my husband noticed this hidden gem serving margaritas. We both love us some ceviche and decided to forego our brunch plans for something a little more fresh and we are so glad we did. I didn't know ceviche could be this good but they have figured it out to a T! Must have for any ceviche lover or any casual seafood fan for that matter.

Luis Fernando M.

Yelp
Great food, great service, great ambiance, I will attend every time I have free hours.
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
I was deceived by the name, came in thinking it was My Ceviche. Decided to give it a try anyhow. We ordered a ceviche and a chicken chaufa. None of the items seemed really fresh, the chicken in the chaufa tasted like freezer burn. Would not recommend this place nor will I be going there again.
google avatar

Gabriela Z.

Yelp
Very disappointed with the ceviche. It was our first time coming here, we were excited because we're Peruvians and the name stood out since we were craving ceviche. Unfortunately it was very bad; it was very bland, like as if it was mixed with water, it had no taste and was not even spicy as we ordered. The name really doesn't go with the food at all. I'm only giving it an extra star because the "choritos a la chalaca" were good.
google avatar

JR B.

Yelp
The food it's ok, cocktail of camarones is a simple cup with shrimp around and cocktail sauce in a plastic container, the ceviche it's ok, nothing wowing, I like the decoration, but they are missing a lot of points in presentation and taste, it's eatable, but I won't be back here, a simple salad was 3 petite tomatoes with some mix greens, they don't have olive oil in a proper container, they need to step up if they want to stay in business
google avatar

La V.

Yelp
A straight up gem! We tried a good variety of classics done deliciously paired with top-notch service. This is my home away from home! x
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
We are thrilled Mr. Ceviche opened up in our little corner of the world. Such a great local spot for Peruvian. Don't miss their filet mignon saltado. Awesome fresh ceviche. The staff is really attentive and sweet. They have a large menu with lots of options besides ceviche for those that are not fans. Typical fare like chaufa. We really love their dessert with prunes and we are regulars. Great cocktails and wines available too, I believe they just started a happy hour. The owner says they are waiting for a couple of kitchen items to expand their menu. So look out for some new options!

Katie S.

Yelp
Best restaurant in Miami! Big portions, amazing sangria & even better service. Will be back!

Yelp
This place is like a second home for my girlfriend and I . We have come so many times and NEVER has been a disappointment about the quality of the food. My favorite is the potato cake and adding your presence of seafood is a niche top from the menu! Once my girlfriend has introduced me to this place I get the best service and delicious ceviche .
