5 Great Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"A small specialty churro shop on Olvera Street frying churros to order, dusting them in sugar, and piping them with fillings like fresa, cajeta, crema, and chocolate; the goat’s-milk cajeta is especially irresistible, and the cruller-style churro’s combination of crisp exterior and custardy interior is a standout." - Eater Staff

Google
Decided to eat here because of the mostly good reviews and my love for churros. We ordered carne asada tacos, chicken nuggets for the kids, and carne asada fries. The food was delicious! They were busy but we didn't wait too long. I wasn't a fan of the seating in the hallway but other than that, it was great. I also got churros before we took the train back to Palmdale. Three chocolate filled and one plain. Everyone in our family loved the churros. We'll definitely stop here again whenever we're in California.

Google
Wow is an understatement. My son and I took a train ride in to town and decided to hit La Placita Olvera (only a 10 minute walk). We looked up and down trying to find a place to eat. He said I want to eat here, I was not convinced by the initial looks but being a dad I decided to give my son what he wanted and we ordered. He had a bean and cheese burrito, I had an asada burrito. When we got our food, I felt like my burrito was a small baby, it was thick and heavy. First bite and I was so glad we chose to eat here. The great taste was there through every bite. Their red salsas was flavorful and packed a little kick. Def recommend. 4 stars only because of the seating in the hallway.

Google
This place is located inside el Pueblo gallery on Olvera street. It’s a window shop where you order and there’s seating either outside or a couple small tables inside. This review is for the churros. They have other food there but I only tried the churros. They have all kinds of churros with filling. I opted for just the plain churro and that was delicious! I’m sure if the plain churro was delicious the other churros are likely as good! The service was very nice and the area looked clean and tidy! I would come back if I’m in the area.

Google
Mr. Churro in Olvera Street, Los Angeles, offers a delightful taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit, particularly savoring the delicious tacos and churros. The tacos were flavorful and perfectly seasoned, capturing the essence of traditional Mexican street food. The churros, with their crispy exterior and soft, sweet interior, were an absolute treat. If you're looking for a place that serves great basic Mexican food, Mr. Churro is definitely worth a visit.

Google
Update: Tried the food today and its pretty good! I tried the Burrito and my son tried the tacos. Both very good. $3 dollars for a regular churro and $4 dollars with fillings. Fillings include strawberry, caramel, lechera, guava, and chocolate. Considering that it is on Olvera st. smack in the middle of DTLA the prices are reasonable and they bring it to you hot and it's fantastic!!

Google
We loved this little place. It's hard to find, but if they're open, there's usually a sign guiding you into where this cafe is. We had the churros in ice cream (chocolate chip) & chicken tacos. It was great! Really good food and the staff are very nice.

Google
Traveled to La Placita Olvera for the first time and it's a nice place to visit and walk around. There is a lot of food restaurants! We ended up at Mr Churro: I ordered a torta de Asada which was okay, but definitely will not order again. In my honest opinion for $12 it could be better! The bread was too oily and soggy and was missing flavor. I feel like it was missing some frijoles refritos, unas 2 ruedas de cebolla y chiles en vinagre. The avocado is "liquid salsa avocado" which doesn't make a difference you can barely taste it. The tacos are a decent size and have a good taste. Make sure to ask for lemons and extra salsa. I was given a green salsa which was not spicy at all. The churros: we ordered nutella and lechera churro. The lechera filling was my favorite. The nutella tasted more of chocolate than nutella. The lady that took our order was nice and pleasant and the service was fast. They have 3 tables with chairs in front of the restaurant on the hallway. They also have live music on the hallway.

Google
Great bang for buck, delicious churros in a lovely area with huge variety of meals and deserts. It's hard to find tucked away down an alley and was ridiculously busy when we visited. Suppose that's the down side of being touted as the best churros in Los Angeles.

Yelp
This place makes me happy in the heart of plazita olvera in East LA They have all the yummy churros with filling a specific time. I got the guava one and a plain one and their Horchata super delicious always polite, quick orders and their varieties insane they have a little bit of everything in the suites department.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious churros, friendly sericeive and clean establishment. If you plan for a quick stop, there are 4 parking spaces on Alameda St that are free but limited to 30 minute parking. Plenty of time to drop in and buy a churro or two.

Yelp
After enjoying a pleasant meal at a nearby restaurant, I observed someone savoring a strawberry-glazed churro, which surprised my mother-in-law. I subsequently located the restaurant and placed an order. They offered a wide selection of flavors. I chose the caramel churros; they were so delicious that I wondered about the sugar rush. We patiently awaited the preparation of our churros. The wait was approximately ten minutes. During this time, I noticed vintage photographs of Christine Sterling, who contributed to Olvera's growth. It was interesting to learn about the history while waiting for dessert.

Yelp
Serving up some of the best churros around. Located in the El Pueblo Gallery on Olvera Street, Mr Churro has several flavor filled churros such as chocolate, custard, caramel, strawberry and regular traditional. Before the pandemic, the restaurant was open with limited seating inside. Now orders are placed at the door that had been converted to a counter/window. There are also classic American sandwiches and Mexican favorites

Yelp
Amazing flavor, never a long wait. Very unique churros, tons of stuff on their menu but this is all we go there for. Not the friendliest of staff, only one or two tables outside so you'll need to sit else where. Kind of hidden in a hallway so unless you know what you're looking for can be a little tricky. Gotten a little pricey but I think everything has. Highly recommend, been going here for years, and will definitely return.

Yelp
I had Mr. Churro bookmarked for a long while and finally decided to visit. Unexpectedly, there was no line nor any other customers during a Wednesday around noon. Located in a breezeway, the ambience was calm during a peak lunch hour. I ordered the tortas with carnitas ($12.95). The tortas were sliced diagonally into two pieces and included lettuce, tomato, guacamole, onions, and jalapeño peppers. The portion size was just right, but I did finish it quickly since I was hungry. The carnitas could've used a little more flavor, however. Otherwise, this made for a quick and decent meal. In terms of pricing, I thought that their selections cost slightly more than other restaurants on Olvera St. Sitting indoors in the breezeway was nice, however. There are restrooms and a water bottle refilling station nearby.
google avatar

Mercedes R.

Yelp
Amazing churros! You can choose from different fillings. Highly recommend! The chicken tacos were also delicious. It gets a little packed on weekends but there are a few tables to sit at.
google avatar

Yelp
Best churros on this side of town $3 for regular churros and $4 for filled ones. You can add a scoop of ice cream it's cheaper than getting the "churros and ice cream" at $10. They have seating in a fun little alley way and you can exit to the street after.
google avatar

Crystal D.

Yelp
Mr. Churro is located inside a corridor within the Olvera St plaza. They serve casual foods like hamburgers, but stuffed churros are their main attractions. I tried the condensed milk stuffed one and it was so good. It was soft, warm, and the perfect amount of condensed milk. Next time I'd like to try the custard stuffed churro.

Yelp
So kitchen wasnt open, buuut they had ice cream and churros and i got chocolate chip. They got pretty flower plastic bowl. And the person who served me was a nice woman and they have cool seats annn a microphone train type thing so you can hear them well when placing order. I waited less than 5 minutes for it. Great snack for a layover from train! Empty photo as reference for how big the one scoop was. Ambiance chill
google avatar

Yelp
This review is only for the raspado*** service was friendly & fairly quick. A lot of people were waiting for food so I'm assuming it must be good?? Anyway, I got the tamarindo raspado and I like that they put chunks of fruit in it but I don't think they put enough liquid and the ice was too chunky for my liking. The cups are perfect so you get a big scoop without spilling.

Yelp
If you are looking for some filled churros then Mr Churros is the spot to hit up. They have the original non-filled churros for $3 and filled churros for $4. The original ones are longer but the filled churros come in a bag of two shorter filled churros. And they had plenty of flavors to choose from including nutella, condensed milk, creama, caramel, and guava. My favorite was actually the original though since I found the filled ones to be a little too sweet for me. But I can see why people love them. All of the churros I had were good and are made when you order. I did wish they had a little more cinnamon sugar on the outside. But they were fried perfect. It took some time for them to call our order since it seemed like only two people were running the shop when it was a busy Saturday. We probably waited for 15 minutes for 5 items to come out. This spot is hidden located in a building by Olvera Street. Its a stand you come up to order from and they call you when they are ready. Besides churros, they also had drinks, ice cream, and other food items. I had their horchata which was really good. We parked in the lot next door to the building and it was $2.75 per 20 minutes. There is also limited spots as well.
google avatar

Nooshi B.

Yelp
Loved the chocolate filled churros we got today. Perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Not overly rolled in cinnamon/sugar and perfectly filled with chocolate. I thought that 2 churros for under $5 was a steal and I will happily come back again.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
This spot is tasty and affordable! Dessert is always welcomed. That's why people have a second stomach. The name is clever and these guys are definitely good at their craft. It's a perfect spot after going out to date night.
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
My huarache was fantastic. Best huarache I've had in LA so far since moving. Great historic ambience and the employees were very friendly and fun to talk to.
google avatar

Yelp
Parking is really hard to find, they do have a really small parking lot on the corner. I ordered the Condensed Milk Churro and Custard Churro. The Custard Churro was really good and warm. The Condensed Milk Churro was okay because all the condense milk went all the way to the bottom of the churro, so the top churro wasn't really 'filled'. They were all pretty sweet but very tasty! Recommendation(s): - Custard Churro Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Really small parking lot, hard to find parking - Accept Apple Pay

Yelp
Mr. Churro is located in a cozy hallway-like structure in Olvera Street. After taking a comfortable walk through the street, I remember I wanted to try their churros after discovering they were here after so many times passing by. I haven't had a churro in a while but it was a childhood favorite of mine. Upon entering the hall, it seemed like they had a long line but it was quickly going by. I ordered two churros, one plain and one stuffed. I only had to wait about 10 minutes at most from ordering to receiving the churros. The service was friendly and fast + the churros were delicious! Very light and tasty. If you're thinking about going, go! They have other things you can order aside from churros like raspados etc.

Donald W.

Yelp
Great Treat after a long day of walking. Warm, light and sweet! Highly recommend to anyone.
google avatar

Sarina N.

Yelp
The churro's with ice cream were delicious! The service was quick even with a long line but the prices listed did not add up to my total. Besides that, the food tasted very authentic and fresh.
google avatar

Estela B.

Yelp
Just came to try the churros. No line! Just got a regular churro. Don't like the other stuff the put on top. It was good churro. Didn't have to wait long maybe 2-4 min. I don't remember as I was just looking around. The bathrooms are nearby if you need to go while you wait. You may miss this place. Because I was looking for it but didn't realize it was inside this alley way. Service was friendly. I was confused for a second because the girl was standing far away but then realized it was an intercom haha. They have tons of stuff on the menu. And they have some tables and chairs you can sit. I just don't like the smell of the urine and sewer that's the down side of this area

Yelp
I am so happy I can across this churro place!! I was walking around and visiting the different sites/museums at the El Pueblo Monument and found this hidden gem. It is such an amazing spot to get hot and fresh and delicious churros. The staff were so kind because my school ordered in bulk and they were more than happy to make a ton of churros for us! Small little location and very hidden inside but if you look on maps it will tell you walking directions!!

Yelp
My first time coming down to Olvera Street to experience the Mexican history and culture. This landmark highlights their contributions to Los Angeles dating back to the early 1800's. Then I found what would be the best Churro of my life at Mr. Churro! My relatives kept telling me this was going to be my best churro experience, and they were absolutely right. The churros came out nice and hot, and I got them filled with Lechera in one and Caramel in the other. First, I'd never had a churro filled with anything before (since I've only had it at Costco and Disneyland). The Churro itself was nice and crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. The Lechera complimented the sweet cinnamon and sugar coating on the outside. The caramel was sweet, but it didn't overpower the churro which I enjoyed. If you're in LA, make the trip down to Olvera Street and take in the history that lives here. Grab your Churros from Mr. Churro and I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised at how delicious they are!

Yelp
I recently visited the Mexico historical district and was craving some freshly made churros. I stumbled upon Mr. Churro hidden inside the district on the lower floor. The shop also offers a full dining menu, but I had already eaten, so I only got their churro. I got the original without any filling inside. It was crispy on the outside but not super crispy, and the inside layer was smooth and creamy, but not too thick. I wish it could have been thicker and fluffier. It cost $3 for a decent churro. We went during lunch hour on a weekend, and it was quite busy, so we had to wait for about 10 minutes to get our food. Overall, I would give it a 4-star rating.

Yelp
Took the kids to walk around Olvera Street. Hubby and I used to come often when before kids so it was a nice refresher. After taquito tasting, we enjoyed ice cream bowls with fresh churros. The Churros were the most delicious we have had and blew the ice cream out of the water. We will be back. Our plan next time is to skip the ice cream and go directly to the churros. Mr Churro is not a misnomer. He clearly know his art and palette.

Yelp
Located in a hall on Olvera Street, which is a historic street in DTLA that essentially serves as a Mexican marketplace that can be fun to walk around. It can get kind of busy, but the line moves fast. Unfortunately, there's only 1-2 tables, so not many spaces to sit down and enjoy your food :/ Honestly, I was fairly excited for the churros (it's in the name!), but I definitely wouldn't recommend them for that. My friend and I ordered the Nutella, strawberry, and custard fillings, and were very confused as to how they can be advertised as Nutella because it tasted more like a homemade runny version of watered-down, sweetened-up Ovaltine . . . Nutella comes in a jar ._. Strawberry filling tasted very artificial as well, custard filling was decent, but the churros were pretty hard to bite into and didn't seem all that fresh. They were also really messy to eat, but I suppose that's to be expected. The only saving grace was the carne asada fries I also ordered, which was pretty good--I enjoyed the roasted bell peppers that came with it. Not great for dessert, but could be a decent lunch place!

Yelp
My brother and I stopped by here last Friday during our unplanned visit to Olvera Street since we were craving something sweet. It was definitely hot that day, so we were happy that we didn't have to wait in that hot sun when packing our orders since the location was indoors. This location not only sells churros, but also meals as well if you want lunch or dinner items. We decided to get a custard churro, condensed milk churro, regular churro, strawberry churro, and guava churro. We also got a Jamaica and Horchata as well as a side of fries. We had a little wait since there were a couple of groups that had also ordered churros before us. We brought our food home to share with our mom and everything tasted good with the guava churro and condensed milk churro being my favorites. The churros were the right amount of crispy and sweet when biting into them. Strawberry was my least favorite because it tasted artificial to me. I also wished that the side of fries was a bigger serving and a bit crispier though.

Yelp
Mr. Churro has some tasty churros! There are many choices of fillings and dessert options with churros. They have many food choices, Mexican snacks and mexican sweets. Come hungry and feed your cravings or try new items. There are other churro vendors on Olivera Street, but this is the one to go to. Sometimes there are lines, but the service is pretty quick. You know it's good, if people are willing to wait. Plaza Olivera has many parking options at and near here.
google avatar

Yelp
Churros in many ways: traditional rolled in sugar and cinnamon or upgraded with custard, strawberry, creama, chocolate, condensed milk, caramel, etc....They also serve warm foods like tostadas, hamburgers, and hotdogs. Perfect place to get snack you can eat while walking and continue exploring Olvera Street. They are located in a building away from the main street with stalls and because of that it's often more quiet. It's a nice place to take a break before going back to the chaos. No big stacks of pre-made churros here, made to order so they come to you fresh and hot. My wife loves these kind of Churros which are the type most people associate with churros, they are dense with a crunchy outside and a soft/chewy in the middle. My wife and oldest loved it and it was gone in less than 5 minutes.
google avatar

Eric W.

Yelp
We were walking DTLA with our kids on an exploratory Saturday and ended the day at Olvera Street. After a taquito snack, wife wisely was craving a churro. We ended up here. It's a window in a covered corridor. They have entrees and desserts. We went for plain churros. Churros were warm and delicious. The cinnamon is my favorite part. They were probably among the best churro I've had. The wait was a while but was well worth it. Service was very friendly. I will ignore the calorie count and return.
google avatar

Yelp
A hidden gem. If you know of this place, you could easily walk pass it. It gives off church vibes. The place is packed with a long line. You pay, get a ticket and wait to be called. Churros are made on the spot and you can choose your toppings. It's fresh and delicious.
google avatar

Jamie R.

Yelp
Don't recommend the guayaba raspado, taste like pure sugar syrup, then we ordered the limon and it was ok.. wouldn't come here for the raspados, atleast not these two flavors

Yelp
I have been wanting to come here for the longest time ever and I feel so accomplished to finally visit Mr. Churro. I lived in LA for more than 20 years and it was my very first time exploring Olvera Street. I have attempted in the past to come but with no parking nearby, it always stopped me from coming. My Boyfriend and I just decided to pay the parking fee by paying right across the street at the Union Station. It wasnt too bad. Less than an hour was about $6. I guess I could have done it but I didnt know, haha. Mr. Churro is located close to the end of the street if you enter from the main area where people dance to the music. It's a small place but packed with visitors. People seem to get food here too. Unfortunately we were both full from our lunch so we decided to get what we initially came for; churros. I got condensed milk and Boyfriend got caramel. After a few minutes of waiting, our churro was served in a clear plastic bag cut in half. It was warm so filling was drooping out of churro. I liked both equally and let me tell you, theyre both VERY SWEET. But it was full of delicious flavors. I saw some people get them with scoops of ice cream, maybe I should do that next time. The guy who took my order was friendly and patient with my questions regarding churros. Their tacos also looked so yummy because I saw many other people eating them while I was there. I believe Mr. Churro is definitely a must stop when you are exploring Olvera Street.
google avatar

Nicole A.

Yelp
Mr. Churro indeed because if these were authentic, this would be called señor churro. I got a regular churro and it was dry and tasted like oil. It was missing the firm crispy outside with a tender fluffy center. Do not recommend.
google avatar

Micah N.

Yelp
For the price one of the best places to go for a quick bite on Olvera's. The churros are the biggest hit with my girlfriend and I stuck on the churros with strawberry filling & ice cream but even the food hits. The burritos and fries are all customizable as I'd figure are the rest of the menu. All served super quick and definitely stacked up to make even the most starving person happy. Not a lot of space to sit since it's a hole in the wall so come early and cruise around!
google avatar

Molly L.

Yelp
Don't bother going to the other booths with churros at their stall. We did that and wasted $2.50 on a churro that was tiny and also not fresh or crispy. We were so disappointed but then we stumbled upon Mr. Churro. We came into the hallway and saw the shop and signs of big churros. So we ordered a large one without any filling and it was so fresh. There was just the right amount of sugar, it was really crispy, and although the churro was hollow bc there was extra space for the filling, the churro was magnificent. It was freshly made, only $3, and twice-to-three times the size of the other churros sold in the stalls but at just $0.50 extra than those. I hope to be back to visit this shop in particular. I can see why there was a long line in this shop as we were leaving.
google avatar

George T.

Yelp
First mistake was not trying the churros and instead getting the food. Food was very mediocre, small portion and overpriced. 4 tacos ($4.50 ish ea), hot dog combo (can drink) and a side of fries. $31. Hard shells were very generic. The kids were hungry and I didn't want to disappoint them so I pay the cost but the whole time kept thinking this is ridiculous. My brother ordered a cheeseburger combo, carne asada fries and a horchata and his came up to $34. Looks like the churros were good. I would recommend going specifically for those.
google avatar

Jesika H.

Yelp
4 stars for churro 0 stars for fish taco When you go to a place that has a specific item in the name STICK TO THAT ITEM! I'm sorry but pulling out a frozen fish stick, frying it up and cutting it into pieces does NOT constitute a fish taco! Omg and it was 5 dollars! Get the funk outta here!!!!! Anywho, the churro was yummm! Very long, crispy, hot, not a crap ton of sugar on it but enough for you to say hmm. And a nice size whole in the middle for filling. I only got the plain one which was soo perfect! Oh and someone else ordered a carne asada quesadilla that looked Instagram worthy. STICK TO THE CHURROS
google avatar

Yelp
Mr. Churro located in Olivera Street. They also serve food (tacos, burger, nachos, burrito, fries), Raspados, drinks (juice, Frappuccino, smoothies) and ice cream. Parking was hard to find. ::Drink:: The Horchata was a little grainy. ::Churro:: I don't think we got fresh churros, but it wasn't horrible. It was warm but a little stale. The churro was filled with condensed milk; it was good. I didn't like the churro filled with with cheesecake because the cheese tasted off; it was too sour. If I'm in the area, I would give this place another try. ::Food:: Luckily, we were hungry and ordered food. We liked the fish and carne asada taco. The carne asada was grilled and marinated perfectly. I was surprised at how good it was. The price for the food was over priced in my opinion. ::Customer Service:: Friendly but it was hard to order due to the language barrier. ::M's Notes:: -Inside and outside seating -Street and lot parking

Casaundra L.

Yelp
Yum! Reasonably priced delicious churros! Highly recommend! Parking is a nightmare , i would recommend finding metered parking up and walking!

Yelp
They have lots of different stuff on the menu, but with a name like Mr. Churro, you want to get at least 1 churro right? This place is located across from public restrooms in a building about 1/2 down Olvera Street. There was a short line, and it moved quickly. These are good churros. They have plain and filled versions, with multiple flavors of fillings: strawberry, custard, chocolate, guava, Nutella... Got one regular (plain, $3), and one filled with caramel (cajeta) ($4). Both were fresh, crispy, cooked in clean oil, nicely flavored, well cooked (more darkly cooked compared to the churros you find at a place like Costco, and slightly crispier & denser). Center of the plain one was totally hollow. Caramel was gooey and rich, not too goopy. Unfortunately they were consumed too quickly to get a photo. Good place to stop for a quick and easy churro fix.

Yelp
Best churros I've had in my life!! There's a line on the weekends and it's worth it if you make it to Olvera street! The place is on the side- from the main walk way on Olvera street there is an opening and Mr. Churro is located there. It's not hard to find but not easy. The churros are warm and tasty!! They make them just right, not too sweet or over fried either. You can have an option of getting fillings in them if you like. They have a lot of different options for fillings. I personally like them plain. They will melt in your mouth. Today I decided to try a hard shell chicken taco- it was ok. Churros are the best at this location! They have a lot of other food items and a sauce bar which is really good!! I got the chicken taco just so I can try the sauce bar!
google avatar

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
Legit churro spot - perfect to snack one or share with a friend. Tucked inside the little Mexico street right next to Union Station, it's worth trying if you've got a craving for sweets! I only got the original churro without any fillings (generally my preferred flavor) and it was so good! But if you did want to venture out with other fillings like guava, I'm sure they'll be good too (just a little sweeter maybe?) Sometimes, churro I've ever wanted! and boy did it hit the spot :p

Yelp
Amazing for churros. This is definitely a spot you don't want to miss. I'd skip the food though. Stick to the churros!!

Yelp
As hard as it is to believe, you can't find many good churro spots in Los Angeles. Churros Calientes and Churro man have been fan favorites for my circle of foodies, while others like Street Churros, Churro Stix, and Happy Days Cafe just don't hit the mark with real deal churros. I'm so happy I stopped by Mr Churro today because I can finally add another great churro spot to my favorites! This review is solely about the churro and service, as they do serve regular foods and other desserts too. A fresh-out-the-fryer churro is just $3.00 and it's a big churro! Bigger than Disneyland's and less than half the price! The churro is hand delivered by an employee, hot and fresh. The exterior is super crispy and coated in a thick layer of cinnamon sugar, while the inside is warm, soft, and fluffy! It is hollow too because they offer fillings but even without a filling, the traditional churro is amazing.

Yelp
Tucked away in a small alley on Olivera Street, this churro place boasts a surprising variety of food. From whole meals to ice creams to churros, this joint seemingly has it all. I ordered a churro filled with guava here. About two minutes later the cashier handed me the churro through a slit in the protective cover separating patrons from the restaurant. Props to this establishment for this extra health safety measure. The churro itself was not the best churro I've had. The churro was warm, but it wasn't soft and easy to chew like fresh churros out of the fryer. The consistency was in between what a fresh and hard churro (you know you've eaten at least one of these) are. With regards to the guava flavor inside of the churro, my friends and I could barely taste the guava flavor. It tasted mostly like sugar and a vague red fruit that wasn't evocative of guava. The consistency and freshness definitely are a step up from Disney or Costco churros, but for an establishment with "churro" in its name, I expected more. For $4, you can't go wrong for the portion. This is a good price. If I was in the area again and craving a churro, I may give it a second go and not set my expectations high.

Yelp
I love this little place. It's hard to find, but if they're open, there's usually a sign guiding you into where this cafe is. I had the churros in ice cream (mint ice cream) & chicken tacos. It was great! Really good food and the staff are very nice.

Yelp
Love at first bite! My friend who is an LA native recommended this place to me (it's their favorite spot to get churros) and it was perfect. Their filled churros are so delicious! There was a bit of a wait but it wasn't bad at all since the churros were hot when I picked them up. I went with cajeta, crema, and tradicional (no filling; just to see how their churros taste). Their churros are really good- soft inside while the outside has a bit of crunch and is rolled in lots of sugar and cinnamon. Yummy, however, if filled is next level goodness. My favorite was definitely cajeta!! It had a unique flavor of caramel I had not tasted before and I loved every bite of it. It was soooo good. (It's also my friend's favorite flavor, and lechera too but I forgot to order that one!) Crema was not bad either. I found the filled churros to be perfect in sweetness- I didn't think they were overly sweet; they were wonderful. Ugh, I already miss their churros. I would love to try all of them someday hahaha. The employees were friendly which was nice.
