"Plant-based ice cream shop Mr. Dewie’s Cashew Creamery has opened its third location at 4184 Piedmont Avenue, the East Bay Times reports. Brothers Ari and Andrew Cohen founded the cashew milk ice cream company in 2011, selling pints at retailers across the West as well as scoops and ice cream sandwiches at locations in Emeryville and Albany." - Eve Batey

Google
This was the absolute, most delicious cashew ice cream! You could’ve fooled me, it’s better than normal ice cream! Zoe was super sweet, helpful, and was so welcoming! We ended up getting a lot more than we planned for, but Zero regrets and a happy belly! I highly recommend for any vegan people, especially with allergies, everything is super clear and easy to understand, and seriously delicious! Thank you and see you very soon! (and they even had cashew milk bones for my pup! What a dream!)

Google
I didn't know that the vegan ice cream can be this good! My favorite flavor so far is the ice cream. Fresh and refreshing strawberry is definitely shining in the scoop. The creaminess is also vibrant without overpowering the strawberry. The shop is clean and nice to sit down and enjoy the conversation :)

Google
The ice cream is amazing, and so nice to have gluten free options! We got the triple with caramel crunch, roasted cashew, and banana nut flavors. You get so much ice cream and really amazing value, especially considering the grocery store prices of cashew ice cream. Will definitely be back!

Google
I have been going to Mr Dewies since they first opened in Albany. I am dairy free and soy free and sensitive to any sort of additives. It is extremely difficult to find ice cream that not only tastes good but that my body can tolerate. Because of Mr Dewies, I have found that cashew milk based ice cream is my go to. Its texture and creaminess is very similar to dairy based ice cream and doesn’t have the nuttiness that almond milk based ice creams have. I am so happy that there is a Walnut Creek location now because I do not live close to the Albany one at all but it’s so good that I have continued to make the journey over there for years now. My friends and family who can have dairy even prefer Mr Dewies over going to a dairy based ice cream shop! My favorite flavors are strawberry and caramel almond crunch 😊

Google
Best dairy free ice cream out there hands down, look for their brand in local stores if you can't make it to their parlors. The service was really friendly even though we came in close to closing after dining across the street. Coffee, orange chocolate, and golden milk flavors are all amazing. Their new cookie sandwiches (gluten free as well as vegan) are really tasty too. Cannot recommend this local brand/chain enough!

Google
I really want to love this place because I love ice cream, and I love healthier, vegan options, but I find the texture just kind of sticky and heavy and not at all refreshing. I know a lot of folks love them, and it's great they have a lot of flavors-- just not for me.

Google
I am pescatarian. But diets have nothing to do with this place. It is so yummy. In my opinion, you must try every single flavor . However, the best flavors might be chocolate orange chip and coconut chocolate !!!!!! So creamy and FULL of flavor. There is nothing like this place in SoCal.

Google
I’ve been to a lot of ice-cream places and would usually find vegan ice cream somewhere at the bottom of the menu, as the supporting cast member. At Mr. Dewie’s Cashew Creamery, vegan ice cream is the protege - the John Wick of the cast - the main character. Making it easy for any vegan person to just indulge without questioning the possibility of any dairy contents. I truly love the golden ice cream (turmeric) because it borders on the line of sweet & not sweet. If you are someone whose sweet tooth is MIA; I would recommend the green tea option, made with matcha. If you have an active sweet tooth; the roasted cashew option would definitely pack a punch in satisfying your love for sweet ice cream. I’ve once had vegan ice cream made with beetroot, chocolate & coconut somewhere in South Africa, and was hoping that they would have a similar flavor. Anyway; great place

Yelp
Food: I don't have any dietary restrictions and was intrigued by cashew ice cream when walking by. Me and my partner have tried almost every flavor now and they're all surprisingly very good! Of course some aren't my favorite but it doesn't mean they're bad, just personal preference. Our favorite flavors are the matcha (so rich!) and the roasted cashew (so creamy and the flavor is amazing). I'm hoping they come out with an ube flavor in the future or something similar. Service: Friendly service, they let u sample a standard 3 flavors per customer, no qualms about service so far. Ambiance: For an ice cream store it was surprisingly hot in there. The door was held open at all times but the moment we walked in there it felt 15 degrees hotter, and we thought that was strange because the outside was so cool but it was hot inside, maybe because of all the machinery they need to keep the ice cream cool? That's pretty much the only negative, it's a small and cute little shop and they have pints ready in a fridge along with some merch.

Yelp
We had the screaming munchies the other night so my daughter recommended that we go to Mr. Dewey's and get ourselves some treats and bring them home and enjoy watching a movie. Cashews? Its so creamy and delish. It doesn't matter if you're lactose intolerant or you like ice cream or you want to try something new and different and healthy. This is the place. I was a little surprised because I didn't expect it to taste so much like regular ice cream. The texture was perfect. The flavors were spot on. I would not have known it was an ice cream if somebody hadn't told me that it was made from cashews and not dairy products And the flavors that they have are just right. My daughter had her favorite scoops in a cup, but my wife and I opted for the Dewey vegan dippers. You might be wondering what this is let me tell you. They usually offer a few selections of what goes in it, but it's basically an ice cream sandwich with a slight twist you select the flavor you like for the center and it's sided on both sides with wonderful vegan cookies that are soft and delicious and then they dip it in chocolate. Absolutely wonderfully delicious I recommend this is a place for young and old boy or girl, man or woman. What a perfect nighttime snack We came home and we watched our favorite movie and ate ice cream. perfect highly recommended..

Yelp
FRIENDLY STAFF! 5 stars for Owen I love everything I've ordered so far. It's creamy like a standard ice cream AND it's not diabetes inducing sweet - just enough to feed that craving. They have outdoor seating to enjoy the sunshine whilst people watching if that your thing. Since this is Berkeley area, they have a bowl of water for your furbaby. (Make sure they are vaccinated before you let them drink out of a community bowl) I'd come back again and again since it's an ice cream I can have that won't give me problems and tastes like a real ice cream.

Eli B.

Yelp
Horrible experience. They were helping someone as we walked in and suddenly they were closed. Not sure if this is just my bad luck or what but the door was literally open. We walked in to just walk out.

Marlon J.

Yelp
We got the matcha, a half scoop of mint chocolate and a half scoop of caramel almond. We were personally craving ice cream so this hit the spot for sure this evening. They had a nice outdoor seating where we sat and enjoyed. The lady helping us was nice and attentive but you're only limited to 3 samples. They also charge $1 for toppings. Overall really enjoyed I will be coming back for more. Thank you !

Mary A.

Yelp
Omg as an ice cream lover, I was delighted to find this place. The chocolate orange ice cream was sooo good and dairy free. This was perfect since I'm trying to cut down on dairy products.

JoAnn S.

Yelp
Just about every time I am in the neighborhood, I just have to drop in and get a scoop or two of their delicious ice cream. You can eat inside or out. They have tables and chairs in the sun and the shade. If you have issues with dairy, you will probably be happy to know that there isn't dairy in this ice cream. Not only that, but it tastes really yummy!

Kyra K.

Yelp
I found my dairy-free ice cream haven! As someone who doesn't consume dairy, finding a spot that serves my favorite dessert is always an issue. Mr. Dewie's is a shop you can go to for a sweet treat that won't break the bank or hurt your body. After my Mom's birthday dinner, she wanted to grab ice cream for dessert. Knowing I don't consume dairy and had never been (even though we live close by) she wanted to come here. The shop is on the corner and is small, bright, and clean. The two girls working the counter were swift at scooping and helpful. I appreciated they gave out free samples! The menu is posted above and you're able to get your ice cream in single, double, or triple scoops. You can also choose if you want a cup or cone. Being my first time, I was overwhelmed by the awesome flavors. I got a Single Scoop of Banana Nut in a Cup and my taste buds were blown away. There was a strong banana flavor, it was loaded with lots of crunchy chopped nuts, and creamy considering it was made of cashew milk. It was my first time trying cashew-based ice cream and I found it to be tasty. My parents got Chocolate Orange Chip, Caramel Almond, and Lemon Creme as their flavors. I tried it and enjoyed all of them. Craving ice cream and want a dairy alternative? Then try Mr. Dewie's on the corner of Solano and Kains. They specialize in dairy, soy, and gluten-free organic vegan ice cream. You can also buy items and ice cream to take home. Parking is street or in the neighborhood. This creative place has cashew-nut-based ice cream in plenty of flavors, the service is good, and there's seating inside and outside. I'm glad we got to celebrate and enjoy our sweet treat at a place so close to home! Be sure to check in for 10% off a cone!

Lina A.

Yelp
We came across this place several years ago on a day trip and finally made it back! It was the first time I had ever had cashew ice cream and I was blown away! The texture is so creamy and the flavors were on point! I really should be avoiding dairy and if there were more places like these I probably would. It it the best non-dairy ice cream option that I've had. Others have an underlying east of whatever it's base is but I didn't taste any additional flavor other than the strawberry flavor I ordered. There's some tables outside to sit and enjoy and a cute bench against the store to sit and take in the view.

Yelp
Question: Would a full time Berkeley Cal student be fired without any warnings if the color of her skin was different ?? This is directly for Mr. Dewey himself. Would proceed to tell this young student who is a full time student " I never have seen anyone on their iPad as much as you " had her skin color was different. it could not have been due to the fact that this same young student suffers from severe allergies which is medically documented , to be asked constantly if she is sick or to be treated as if she's infected. I am just curious, would things have been different if she was of a different race ?

Yelp
This wasn't my first time at the rodeo. I've recently tried this dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free ice cream that isn't technically ice cream. I had stopped by the tiny Piedmont Avenue location on a whim and frankly admired what owners Ari and Andrew Cohen were attempting to create to avoid potential allergens. I'm not lactose-intolerant, but I could see this as balm for the soul. I think they got the flavors right, but my sensitive tongue couldn't get used to the grainy aftertaste. I decided to try it again with different flavors at a different shop. I ordered a $5 small cup of Coconut Chocolate and Roasted Cashew (photo: https://bit.ly/406IiOJ). This time the aftertaste was not as pronounced. Not sure why. Mine is not to question why. Mine is but to do and indulge. ICE CREAM - 4 stars...better this time around with more satisfaction with the taste and texture AMBIANCE - 4 stars...nice space with seating SERVICE - 4 stars...attentive and courteous TOTAL - 4 stars...Mr. Dewie has not struck out RELATED - Exploring Solano Avenue? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: http://bit.ly/2HvcTQH

Yelp
A very creative take on ice cream for those who are lactose intolerant. Mr.Dewie's had a vast selection of ice cream flavors from Raspberry chocolate to Mocha, Lemon Crème, Cool Mint & a host of other flavors. There really wasn't much of a difference when having my scoop of Cool Mint Ice cream only that my stomach was happy & not upset from the lactose. I would gladly revisit Mr.Dewie's when in Albany.

Prasiddha H.

Yelp
Went to the Berkeley area this long weekend and finally got to try this place out which had been on the bucket list for a while! If you are vegan this is a cute ice cream shop for you. The ice cream here is made of cashews over dairy and honestly my boyfriend said if he didn't know any better he wouldn't have known it was vegan - that's how creamy it was! The shop was cute and casual inside with some benches and tables outside which was great. The service was really sweet and they let us try different flavors to sample which was nice. We ended up getting the turmeric spice and the chocolate orange chip ice cream which were both unique yummy and creamy. If you are looking for some unique flavors with taste this is a good spot to check out.

Martin D.

Yelp
So creamy & delicious. You definitely get the full cashew flavor in each bite. I ordered the banana nut flavor & it tasted every bit like banana bread infused in ice cream. Even after eating at Dewie's I'm still dreaming of how flavorful & tasty it truly is.

Stacie J.

Yelp
I am fuqn sold. Had dinner with one of my friends across the street from this joint. Shit, I should've started at Mr. Dewie's but hey. You live and you learn. I started by tasting a sleuth of flavors and decided to go with a triple on a cone..... no doubt. Gawd as I quietly ordered, I was like a kid at an ice cream parlor anxiously waiting for my cone. That part. Once I was handed my ice cream. I fuqn went in, not nada left. Not even a drip of ice cream in the napkin..... I keep speaking so matter of fact about this phenomenon because I am one of those people that believe if you want chicken you should eat chicken not clucken. Lol. It's the same with ice cream or it was until I had Mr. Dewie's. Prior, I was looking for 100% cream to go with my ice not almonds, coconuts, and for sure not cashews. But now.... I will continue to eat dairy ice cream but will make an appoint to stop when I see Mr. Dewie's....The End.

Shana S.

Yelp
Mr Dewey's is the best ice cream I've had.. I've never been a huge ice cream fan but since I'm vegan, I like to support venues that sell vegan products. I absolutely LOVE this ice cream. Their strawberry is so delicious that I found myself tracking down Mr Dewey's in my local grocery stores to bring to parties for dessert. True... I've gain some Mr Dewey weight over the holidays and have since monitored how often I eat it... but it's so rich and delicious. And I feel good about it being plant based.

Alaric S.

Yelp
Haven't been here in forever! Saw the cold brew coffee in the case and thought to try it! That was my flavor! I ended up getting a single of the cold brew coffee with cocoa nibs, it just totally hit the spot for a perfect Sunday afternoon! They also do indoor dining, they allow you to eat your ice cream inside, parking is a little tough, but that's to be expected for Solano Avenue! The picnic tables were also awesome and you could just people watch while enjoying your ice cream!

Miguel D.

Yelp
This place has it all. Amiable service, clean and organized. And tasty treats. Absolutely love this place.

Amy D.

Yelp
Make sure you check in on Yelp for 10% off a single cone! Mr. Dewie's Cashew Creamery has 3 locations in the East Bay, and I stopped by this location since I was in the area. I'm pretty sure I haven't had cashew based ice cream before, and was really excited to give it a try. This location of Mr. Dewie's had 15 flavors of ice cream available, and you can order ice cream, bon bons, or a chocolate chip cookie sandwich. They also have vegan cones and vegan toppings available. You're allowed to sample if there isn't a line, and I tried: -Chocolate Cookie Crumble: Very chocolately, with some crunch from the cookie crumbles. -Just Peachy: You could taste the peach flavor, but the peach/cashew combination was a bit strange for me. I ended up getting a Single Cone (w/Caramel Almond Crunch & Roasted Cashew, $4.50, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=NxMVFpsX-XC1hN8SGhklbg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). Out of the two flavors, the roasted cashew was my favorite since it highlighted the nuttiness of the cashew. The caramel almond crunch was good, but I felt the caramel flavor was the most dominant. The sugar cone was delicious, and I loved the additional crunch. The cashew milk based ice cream was smooth in some bites, and slightly gritty in others. I thought it was more airy/fluffy than cow's milk ice cream, but prefer oat or coconut milk based ice cream for a non-diary ice cream option. I would still return to Mr. Dewie's though, and give their other ice cream flavors a try as well as their bon bons. All staff were still wearing masks, and they had hand sanitizer. There was no indoor seating, but there were a few tables set up for outdoor seating. Street parking is available, but spots can be limited in this area, especially during the lunch and dinner rushes on the weekends.

Sarah K.

Yelp
Such a cute little shop!!!! I typically wouldn't prefer cashew-based ice cream over dairy ice cream but you'd be amazed at how creamy and rich it is! It is also healthier b/c the fat is unsaturated :) You're able to get as many samples as you want so I tried the golden spice (previously called turmeric spice I think?), chocolate, roasted cashew, lemon crème, and caramel almond. The lemon crème tastes exactly like the Girl Scouts lemonade cookie, which I love! I ended up getting banana nut -- the banana flavor was not overpowering and the amount of nuts balanced it out well. Mr. Dewie's has such a homey atmosphere and I felt like I was a little kid in a parlor again. Lots of little kids were lined up, patiently waiting for their scoops of ice cream and squealing when they took their first bite. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around the area, so definitely take a stroll down Solano and enjoy the beautiful and tranquil scenery.

Christa L.

Yelp
Absolutely my all time favorite cashew cremery! To be fair, there aren't many around but they do a fantastic job! Their flavors tasty and their portions are out of control! Vegan options tend to be sherbert-like but this is cream-y like and everyone should give it a try! You can tell it's not made from cow milk but I think it makes it so much better.

Emily T.

Yelp
5 stars to the kind gentleman who gave excellent service on Tuesday evening 11/9 around 6:30pm. Service: Super friendly. It's nice to be able to sample flavors again! Atmosphere: Casual with some tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream. We got the single scoop but split between two flavors. Our flavors were the matcha and caramel and both were sooo tasty! Portions were nice and generous and can I say how happy I am that it's non-dairy!

Alleona E.

Yelp
Really good ice cream and it didn't hurt my stomach! I didn't know what to expect bc it's dairy free but honestly it's better than regular ice cream in my opinion. Can't wait to come again!!!!

Sara M.

Yelp
Mr. Dewey's is a great option for people who are avoiding dairy products since it is made with cashews. The consistency of their ice cream is pretty spot on compared to regular dairy ice cream, and they have unique flavors that make it worth coming to. This was my first time trying the golden spice and matcha flavors, and I was pleasantly surprised by both. Neither were overly sweet, which I preferred since most ice creams are too sweet for my taste. The matcha was pretty much what you would expect and very refreshing whereas the golden spice was a more unique flavor that had hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and other warming spices. I really enjoyed both and would order them again.

Jessie P.

Yelp
All I can say is WOW. Come here. I am so incredibly impressed by this place. The best vegan ice cream I have ever had.

Emily H.

Yelp
Saddest day of my life. Bought a scoop ($5), tipped ($2), walked 5 steps, and the cone spontaneously snapped (before my first lick), and the ice cream fell out of the cone and landed in dog hair. On the floor. I told that to the person who had scooped my cone and she said "oh no I must have put too much on your cone!" I said "haha ok - a little less will be fine!" She scooped a little less. And CHARGED ME FOR IT. : / Now I have a sad + unfair feeling every time I think of this brand. Ps. The chocolate cookie crunch is so delicious!

Calvin Y.

Yelp
I love this place!! They have locations in East Bay and I always make a stop on the way to the city. The ice cream here is incredible and tastes even better than the kind made from a cow. It's lactose free, plant based heaven. We got the Golden Spice flavor on a cone and the flavor was awesome! It's a great creamy chai with hints of cardamom and ginger. We also got the Orange chocolate chip which was reminiscent of the Terry's chocolate oranges my grandma had around. This flavor was a wonderful walk down memory lane. The raspberry flavor was also available and we loved it!! We'll definitely be back.

Taylor Z.

Yelp
First time trying cashew ice cream. Was really solid and the flavors pack a punch. Was creamier than I expected!

Anna S.

Yelp
The non dairy ice cream blew my mind! It tastes like regular ice cream! Rich in flavors, good prices, and non dairy!

Nora F.

Yelp
I had the Golden Spice, made of organic cashew milk (filtered water, organic cashews), organic evaporated cane juice, organic vanilla extract, Ground turmeric, Ground cinnamon, Kosher salt, Ground cardamom, Ground ginger, Black pepper, Ground anise. I didn't expect to like it, but it was great! Four or five tables of outdoor seating, two picnic tables with umbrellas, and a doggie water bowl outside.

Trish J.

Yelp
I never thought I would say this in my whole life but I found something better than icecream! I ordered a cup of carmel almond crunch with the chocolate cookie crumble. I couldn't be more happy than when I was a child and had a banana split for the first time. How amazing!

Rich M.

Yelp
Best cashew cream ice cream love it love it love it love it yummy cashew ice creamy.

Fiona B.

Yelp
Very sweet girls that work there. Dairy free ice cream is sooo good and we appreciate the gluten free cones! It's very hard to find dairy free AND gluten free foods let alone desserts. My 8 yr old finally found a place that made her feel like everyone else. She didn't have to choose the only (usually not kid yummy) item on the menu. THANK YOU Mr. Dewie's!!!! So good!

Nicole M.

Yelp
I love Mr. Dewie's! It's a little pricey, but I think that is to be expected for a local, plant-based ice cream spot. They always have new and creative flavors and many solid classics. Regardless of flavor, I almost always top with their caramel sauce which is AMAZING and I could probably eat a bowl of just that! Definitely recommend for anyone who wants a tasty non-dairy ice cream , and to support a local business :)

D W.

Yelp
Best ice cream hands down! Not often in East bay but when we are try to stop for ice cream My "real ice cream" loving husband even has a foodgasm over how good it is Hope you get a store on peninsula side soon So rich, creamy and delicious

John S.

Yelp
We had intended to visit Mr. Dewie's in Emeryville, as their store was close to our hotel. But we learned that it was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. No worries. We found this one in Albany, which was on our way from Sacramento, where we had flown to from Boise the night before. I ordered two scoops, a berry variety and chocolate orange chip. Both were wonderful. I had never had ice cream made with cashews before. It was quite good.

Lily C.

Yelp
I can't have gluten and finally found an ice cream sandwiches I can eat. So yummy! Craving it now

Mel S.

Yelp
Calling all lactose-intolerant and / or those that don't prefer dairy! Quaint ice cream parlor in Albany that serves dairy-free ice cream. Everything is made with cashew milk. Ice cream: Tons of flavors to choose from, all made with cashew milk. I got a double scoop with cookies n cream and banana nut. I wasn't a huge fan of the cookies n cream because the cashew flavor definitely dominated. The cashew flavor went well with the banana nut, so that was my favorite. Safety precautions: - server wears a mask - only one "party" in the parlor at a time - tape on the floor to keep customers at a distance from the freezer

Meg T.

Yelp
For my 2400th review... a dairy free, soy free, gluten free "ice cream" - I know, I too was unaware such a thing existed. During one of our Solano strolls I caught sight of Mr Dewie's Cashew Creamery and couldn't wait to try it! The service was super friendly, even when I changed my mind last minute after seeing a beloved old favourite, mint chip. And the flavor was amazing! So sweet and decadent. It was even better than the dairy version! We will definitely be returning on a future trip. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for 10% off!

OC B.

Yelp
Always and forever grateful for a vegan establishment. Especially a place with great-tasting ice cream.

Dougie S.

Yelp
Wow, this is fantastic vegan ice cream, give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Wish they had more locations and opened in SF South Bay & Pennisula.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick snack, and because I'm kind of an ice cream addict. I'm not vegan and this was the first time I had cashew based ice cream, but I like soy and coconut based ice creams so I figured I would really like this too. I got a single scoop of the mint chip, and it was a refreshing mint flavor with really tiny dark chocolate chips that were very crunchy which I liked. While I really liked the ice cream, I wasn't a huge fan of the after taste it had. I'd be interested in returning to try other flavors if I was in the area, but this would be a solid go-to spot if I were vegan.

Steve T.

Yelp
Wife loved the gluten and egg free ice creams they make here as they taste like unhealthy ice cream that I like. My coconut based chocolate ice cream was excellent .

Joseph Anthony S.

Yelp
Great service, ice cream is suuuuuuper soft, not quite as creamy as gelato, but it's got it's own Lane and it's delicious. Tumeric does go with most flavors here, can't go wrong with chocolate cookie crumble. Both were the servers' favorites and I was all for it

Chris S.

Yelp
Great alternative for us lactose intolerant types. Love the mint chip. And the servers are always kind.

James V.

Yelp
Excellent, clean, and professional! They are a part of the Berkeley / Albany community so you see a lot students from the High School and the middle schools. My wife being Ethiopian and educated in the UK enjoys that all their products are organic and sourced from organic farms nearby which insures freshness and quality.

Nadine Y.

Yelp
[ During Covid Review ] Located near the bottom of Solano Ave, expect street parking or side street parking. Easy to locate because of their big sign, they are located on the corner and next to a coffee shop. A unique characteristic about this creamery is that it is organic, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and they have vegan cashew ice cream. This place offers a variety of flavors that some other ice cream shops do not offer. Only only do they have ice cream, but they do offer chocolate chip cookie sandwiches ($7) and dark chocolate bonbons (mint chip, strawberry, vanilla, and their special). With Covid in play, they only let in 2 customers at a time, all employees wear a mask and glove and ensure that each customer is 6ft apart. They do NOT allow you to sample the ice cream unfortunately; however, it is understandable with what we are going through. They also ask if you were to eat your ice cream, please eat it outside. Some of the flavors this creamery has that some other places might not offer are: lemon creme, roasted cashew, and turmeric spice. All the flavors here are good; however, my favorites would have to be the caramel almond, peppermint chocolate and the turmeric spice. Another cool thing about this place is that if you wanted a single scoop, they can do two different flavors for this single scoop. I highly recommend trying this creamery out if you are ever in the area and to try out their turmeric spice flavor if you can!

Joseph A.

Yelp
I passed by this place so many times in the past before I actually stopped in to give them a try and I am truly happy that I did. All of their flavors are absolutely delicious, but what keeps me coming back over and over again is the fact that their ice cream is so much easier to consume than the traditional full of fat cold treats that others offer. All of their products are dairy and soy free and also completely vegan, so they always leave you feeling satisfied without the heaviness of the butter fat and cream.

Yelp
Amazing vegan ice cream - the texture and flavor are amazing, especially if it is left out to soften for a little while. I find some flavors better/more interesting than others, but I guess that's a matter of taste. You can sample.

Yelp
Favorite vegan ice cream spot! With such quality ingredients, you can really tell they put a lot of love into these flavors. I got the chocolate orange chip flavor and the lemon creme. And both the chocolate orange chip tastes exactly like the orange Milano! Sooo good and so dense and decadent. Lemon creme tasted like a lemon bread which is one of my favorite desserts! Texture of the ice cream is incredibly smooth and thick. Unlike a lot of vegan ice creams that tend to be on the Icey side. And the staff here is super nice! They offer samples now! So take advantage! There were so many flavors I wanted to try but I didn't want to hold up the line hahah.
