The food looks amazing, but I was underwhelmed. But I think it’s just a me thing because that place is packed every time I go in for an uber eats order. I got catfish, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and green beans. The sweet potatoes were amazing best I’ve ever had. But my fish tasted under cooked and extra fishy. But the prices are good and it’s always packed so I think it’s just a me thing

Both times I’ve gotten food from here it’s been on point. The wings are breaded and crispy with good flavor. This last time I also ordered the soul rolls and they were so good especially with the hot honey sauce they give you to go with it. I’ll go back every time I’m in the area.

I would gladly give all 5s, the food is great and the gentleman who works in the back had to come up front before the girl who works in the front even acknowledged me, she had taken 3 orders bed even asking me what I needed. I stood there patiently, my food was sitting there getting cold bc I ordered online and she didn’t even ask me what I needed, I should have not been in there as long as I was especially without her saying anything to me. I stood right where the online order window is behind another young lady. This is my second time going in there and both times the girl at the front acts like she hates her job and treats the customers the same. Otherwise I have zero complaints.

Tried this spot for the 1st time via Uber Eats. I really wanted veggies & some good fish, so I ordered candied yams, collard greens (mind you, I don't even like greens BUT my Gawd!), mac n chz, & a piece of whiting. The whiting was the slimest piece of fish I’ve ever seen. Otherwise, Mr. Diddy’s did NOT disappoint! Everything was delicious & the corn bread was sweet - just how I like it! I’m treating myself to the same plate today. Enjoy!

First time visiting. Take out only. Food was very good. Wings, catfish, collard greens, and mash potatoes. Good portions. Hot. Made fresh. Not a long wait. Will go back and recommend.

This place was surprisingly good. I didn't expect much, given the area, was really good. Their seafood is well prepared and not overcooked. It has good seasoning and good portions. I had the catfish and my wife had shrimp and grits (recommended).

Disgusting today! 58$ for this and fish n grits and this is what we got Taste like it was warmed up from 3 days ago I’m not even sure what that is the corner is 🤮 Mac and cheese was hard as a rock, fish rubbery and rewarmed. I use to love this place I don’t know what happened to it.

Amazing food! I got the soul rolls which I loved, if you like yams you should like these. My partnee got the crispy chicken sandwich in the special sauce and it was soooo good. We shared a banana pudding and it was delicious!!! Maybe the best I've ever had. It was fluffy and scrumptious. Fantastic find, I had been wanting to try Mr. Diddy's and was not disappointed 😋

So so so good !!! The wings are amazing and full of flavor !!! The Mac and cheese was so creamy and probably one of the best I've had. Definitely returning when I visit Atlanta again! Although I'm giving 5 stars because the food was good, the girl working the register was rude as hell and needs a Kit Kat bar. She was angry and doesn't have any customer service skills lol.

Have only had take out from here but it was very good! The soul rolls are insanely good. Everything else is really good too. Very flavorful and tasty. We've gotten food from here 3 times and they did a good job! Once they forgot something we ordered and when we called; they immediately fixed it. We will come here again!

I can't believe I've never reviewed Mr. Diddys. I've ordered take out at least a dozen times at this point. The food is always ready by the quoted time, the order is always correct and it tastes amazing. I always get the special lemon pepper wings and fries. Idk what their special sauce is but it's delicious.

Order the catfish and grits it was very tasty... the grits were creamy as heck and the fish was fried and seasoned to perfection and the prices are really good... the soul roll is also really good

I've been wanting to try Mr.Diddy's for a minute now. I was in the area and stopped by to order without calling in ahead. They're pretty quick, I only waited for 10-12 minutes which is a plus since I had my toddler with me. There's no eating in, you can only order to-go or for pick-up. The value of my 6 piece wings meal with 2 sides was great for the price (14.99). The wings were kind of small but, like I said, the overall value is great. I got the special sauce on the wings, which is like a sweet and spicy sauce. The okra were fried crisp and tasted extra yummy when dipped in the wing sauce. I also enjoyed the Mac and cheese. It was a bit heavy and oily for me so I only ate about a quarter of it but my husband had no problem finishing it off since Mac and cheese is his favorite food. I can't wait to try them again.

Omg! The food is outstanding! I purchased four chicken tenders and two sides onion rings, and seasoned fries. The tenders were extra crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. The fries had the best flavoring ever with a little spice to them. The onion rings were super crispy and would be better with bigger sized onions. They only have ketchup to dip unless you pay extra for their sauce. No honey, mustard available. I'm definitely coming back, the food is fabulous!!!

I found this spot randomly on Yelp and decided to try it for lunch. I was blown away at the sensible prices! I ended up getting a veggie plate - collard greens, Mac and cheese, and fried okra. It comes with a piece of cornbread. I ordered online and picked it up about 30 mins later. When I got there I noticed there wasn't much sparkle to the place. No decor on the inside except that good ol random grass wall with the neon sign. I gave the woman my name and she handed me my order. I first noticed how heavy the bag was! And when I got in the car the aroma hit me and it smelled great so I got excited. When I got home I opened up the box to see a nice size portion of everything and it was still warm enough to eat without having to reheat . And! Everything tasted great! The little cornbread was wrapped in foil so it was warm and moist when I unwrapped it. The greens were flavorful, although a little sweeter than I'm used to. The mac and cheese wasn't too cheesy and had those illustrious spiral noodles. And they gave me a generous amount of fried okra which was also delicious! I checked the menu and even though it's not too extensive, almost everything looks and sounds good. Definitely going to make this place my next 'regular' and try other menu items. It's affordable and tasty. What else could you ask for?!

I was recommend this place by my brother and I have to admit that he was spot on when he said top 5 on his list of wings in the city. I'm gonna say top 2 and they're not #2!!! I had to come back to this place just to confirm that I wasn't wrong. I ordered the 10 piece the first time with the two sides. The thing is I had awhile before I could eat the food so by the time I got to it, it was lukewarm but the flavor was so good that I didn't care. I had to double back for a 20 piece and some okra and man oh man! They didn't disappoint at all. The sauce was still really good and the wings were cooked to perfection! The okra was seasoned well and held its own weight. These wings have to be on the top of the list for a lot of people. When I went the first time they were pretty busy. I called my order in the first time and waited the second time. The wait time wasn't long and the vibe in the building is pretty chill. I have to give them a 9.5/10 The foil helps keep the food warm for those long ATL traffic times and I appreciate that a lot.

I ordered from here through DoorDash, so I cant say what the setting/vibe is for this place to sit down. What made me order from here was the price for a plate with 10wings and 2sides. The price was pretty cheap considering what wings alone cost!. I got 10 teriyaki lemon pepper wings with collard greens and mac&cheese. I rated this 3 stars because their prices were pretty good for this plate, and overall the food was pretty good I give the food about a 7 out of 10: - Mac&Cheese: It was just ok...I feel like I make better. it wasn't as flavorful like I know mac can be it just tasted like noodles and cheese. - Onion Rings: I have had better onion rings. These were too crispy all around for me. I guess because the onions themselves were thin before being cooked. - Teriyaki Lemon Pepper Wings: The flavor was good! But I am not really a fried-breading wing type of girl. I just like mine crispy with a sauce or a rub, no breading. But they were cooked pretty well I can say! - Collard Greens: These were pretty good! Dont have a complaint.

We had the catfish plate and it was amazing. Mac n cheese was flavorful and the green beans were tasty. Everyone there was friendly and didn't have to wait long on our order.

I really enjoyed my food from Mr Diddy's especially the soul rolls. The flavor of the Mac and cheese with the yams was perfect. I didn't really taste the collard greens so I don't think the rolls had that much in it. I was really surprised at the small size of the wings, but they had a good flavor to them. I wouldn't drive out of my to eat here again, but if I'm in the area I'll definitely return to try some other menu items.

First time visit. Ordered Soul Rolls and 6 wings, Teriyaki sauce. Wings were good and crispy. Soul rolls the bomb! Very tasty. Souls rolls stayed stuffed with Mac n cheese, collards and yams. There were no yams inside. I checked. All in all the food is spot on. I will return for the Soul Rolls!!

Came here on my way home after a showing and wanted soul food of some type. When I searched, this place popped up and had good reviews. Once I arrived, the restaurant was clean and had a nice layout. It's takeout so there's no place for you to sit and eat. And there's no public bathroom which was a bummer since I had to go really badly. Lol. The menu was pretty decent regarding what they served for this type of food, and of course it's Atlanta so they're serving wings on wings lol I ordered the 6pc wings, no flavor, with macaroni and cheese, yams, with an additional side of collard greens and okra. I ate the okra on the way home since it was hot. The flavor was good and quite different since the breading had a nice little kick to it. Overall, I'd order the okra again. My food was good overall. The wings were crispy and still juicy, and not dry. The macaroni and cheese was good, not oh em gee this ish is banging good but good enough to order again if I want macaroni. The collards were tasty and seasoned well, and I do not believe they're served in pork. The yams were good as well and I even had some the next day which was even better as the flavors and juices had time to marinate more. The service overall was great. The gentlemen who took my order was friendly, helpful (I told him it was my first time), and the young lady who gave me my order was nice as well. Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed. I'll surely be going back!

In town visiting, came across Mr.Diddy's on Uber eats so wasn't quite sure what to expect. To my surprise the food was beyond what I could have imagined. Them chicken wings with the special sauce is to die for. I could eat those wings everyday. Also tried the fried whiting, which was seasoned down okay.. 10/10 recommend!

This review is based on an Uber eats order. There was a BOGO special on the wings where you buy 6 wings and get 6 free. I ordered the honey garlic and the special sauce with a veggie plate (Mac and cheese, greens, potato salad, and a piece of corn bread). The food was delivered hot, fresh, and earlier than the estimated time. So the service is great for delivery. The wings were a good size and very crispy. These are breaded sauced wings and even though they are drenched in sauce they remain crispy. The special sauce is sweet and slightly spicy, the honey garlic wings are delicious and not as sweet as the special, they kind of remind me of soy garlic wings. The Mac and cheese is not creamy but it is very cheesy and has a great flavor. I think there's a bit of garlic in it. The potato salad tasted store bought, like it came from Walmart. The greens tasted canned but they had a slight sweetness and tang. I would definitely recommend and order from them again for the wings and Mac and cheese.

Food was delicious! I got soul rolls, chicken wings, collards, Mac & cheese, and collards. Everything was seasoned really well. The wings had a nice crisp and their house sauce is a nice balance of tang and slight sweetness. Ordered on the phone, service was good/food ready in time they said it would be. Take-out only, so not much to comment about as far as the interior of restaurant. A few seating to wait if you do order there.

These people play too much! I almost hurt myself trying to eat this catfish dinner! The food is absolutely amazing! I did a Google review, now I'm on yelp and I also did a TikTok! GEESH! Why would they do that? I don't know, but I'll be back... That's for sure!

The food was disappointing. Veggies (collards and candied yams) were canned and tasted bad. The fish had no coating. It was just fried with nothing on top. I waited 15 minutes to get my meal. I do not recommend.

This was a while ago but i ordered lemon pepper and buffalo wings. Nor i have 12 wings and said half and half. My wings came with all the flavors mixed together. It wasn't good at all and very salty. My fried okra tho...Yes!! But that was the best. Customer service wasn't very welcoming but the my were about to close. I'm all set and won't order from them again.

Unfortunate that my order today was the complete opposite. My salmon was dry, cornbread was burnt on the bottom, and my yams were flushed with cinnamon. Hope it's just a bad day of cooking and nothing else has changed with the restaurant.

I took a chance with trying a new spot on Door Dash and I'm glad I found Mr Diddy's. The food came packaged well with no spills or food out of place. I ordered the honey glazed salmon dinner with mac n cheese and collards as my two sides. I also ordered a side of baked beans. I don't usually see them on menus so when I do and they are vegetation I make sure to try. Everything was seasoned so well and tasted really good! As you can see I ate half the filet before I could stop to take a picture bc the food was just that good! Cornbread was moist too! Will definitely order again! ****MIDTOWN LOCATION****

Y'all!!! I ordered this last night from Uber Eats because they are new to delivering to my area, and oh my goodness! I ordered the 6 wing combo with two sides, Mac and cheese and greens. I also ordered a side of potato salad, please don't judge its been a terrible week and I needed the extra carbs. The food came to $16, so it's super affordable. Also, delivery was fast, maybe 30 mins and the food came hot and as requested. Now the taste. I'm telling y'all this food shocked me! I was absolutely not expecting it to be as good as it was BUT IT WAS! I sampled one wing (these are wingettes not whole wings) with special sauce and I didn't even stop to take a pic :/ so yes, the chicken is excellent. I also really liked the greens, they were super tender and had a deep rich meaty flavor. The Mac and cheese had (I think) pimento cheese in it so it was super flavorful and creamy. The potato salad was great too, albeit a little sweeter than my tastes. I wish I had some pics to share but next time I order I hopefully won't be so hype I forget to take one. I'll be back for sure Mr Diddy!

First time trying it. Ordered through UberEats. Definitely ordering again. The salmon was a little over cooked, but everything was good. I'm usually not the biggest fan of cornbread, but this cornbread was so moist. I have no regrets.

Food was decent. The wings were mostly crust not much meat and the sides (mac and cheese) were below average, so overall not worth the price. Decent establishment overall and the cashier seemed to have an attitude.

Stumbled upon this little gem. I've been checking out wing places around me and somehow missed Mr. Diddy's. I'm glad I stopped in. It's in a small shopping center but don't judge a book by it's over. This place has some legit wing game. The young lady who took my order was really nice, and the gentlemen from the back came out and chatted with me for a little bit as well. Shout out to Terry. I got a 20 piece wing combo. Perfectly cooked. The wings weren't too small, or too large and lightly breaded. The 2 flavots I got was their Special and special lemon pepper. Both were really good. I would recommend both flavors. For the side I got the fried okra, solid and hefty portions. Overall I would definitely recommend Mr. Diddy's and I will be back.

I want to cry because this is 35 minutes from my house, but very much so worth the drive. The restaurant is located in a large plaza and is a cute intimate location. Unfortunately, there's only one table with a few chairs in there for seating -- which means it's really a to go spot. Everything was an 11/10, I would love to know how they do this. I ordered the 6 wings (INCREDIBLE), with the macaroni and cheese, collards and candied yams. AMAZING. WOW. We also got to go orders of banana pudding and that was also amazing. They have 6 or 7 different lemonade flavors which were decent, but a little too sweet for me. My boyfriend loved them all. We'll definitely be back and often!

What do the kids say? This place is busssin. I stumbled upon Mr Diddy's because my stylist decided to order from here one day while I was at her salon. They asked if I wanted anything and I looked over the menu and decided to get the soul rolls as I wasn't that hungry. OMGGGGG! I had the soul rolls (and they forgot the sauce) and I was hooked, do you hear me? I didn't even need the sauce. No pictures because the meal never makes it to be camera ready. Needless to say, I told my husband about it and we decided to try it again and when we did - let me tell you, we went all out. We ordered the fried catfish, honey glazed salmon, collard greens, mac and cheese, potato salad, an order of the soul rolls (WITH the sauce) AND the corn bread? Ch- whoever is cooking back there knows what they're doing. Nobody's perfect, the rice was OK, the grilled tilapia was way too salty, but other than that, everything was GREAT! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, DON'T forget the sauce. You're welcome.

I have eaten here a few times but hadn't been back in a while because the fried fish was a little too salty. I ordered catfish and the soul rolls from there today and they were 15/10 perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for soul food

Wait a minute!!! Who is Mr. Diddy? Where is this man? I really need to shake is hand. Another Grubhub experience, another amazing meal!! This food was so good it made me reflect on my life choices. First things first: hats off to the cooks! The soul rolls are astronomical they are literally stuffed with Mac n cheese and greens, paired with the sweet and spicy sauce is a flavor combustion. The fried chicken was perfect, fried to perfection and topped with sauce not too much or too little . The chicken dinner came with two sides, I got the Mac and cheese and baked beans and they were both very good. I'd give the mac 8/10 and the baked beans 7/10. Mr. Diddy, thank you for everything!!!

The food is good but the customer service not so much. This seems like a family owned business so the cashier doesn't really care about giving good customer service. The last time I was in there I had my daughter with me. They were playing rap music (king von) and it wasn't the edited version. I didn't think it was appropriate music especially since my child was present.

3.5 stars. I wouldn't rush back but it was good for something on the fly. The wings are breaded then tossed. They were a little soggy vs crispy from the lemon pepper wet. The souls rolls are filling and a good size but the flavors didn't just jump out at you. The sweet chili sauce is good and has a little heat like Tabasco or something. Nice minimal esthetic inside, cleanish, and the staff I encountered were nice. They did forget my ranch and gave me no napkins or utensils for my to-go order. With that said my order was ready upon arrival.

I booked Mr. Diddy's at the Marietta location for catering my daughter's graduation party. I've never eaten here before but my daughter said it was the best soul food around. I took the chance and I was not disappointed. From the time I went in and inquired about catering, everyone was professional and attentive to my needs. Everything was prepared on time and when I tell you the guests at the party was raving about how incredible the food taste. Thank you so much for the great food and your professionalism. The candied yams look nothing as pictured on the website. They are dry as hell & not what I expected taste wise as well. The mac & cheese???? Could not be dryerr. It seems like the mac and cheese was sitting out all day bc its no reason for it be that dry. The catfish is Ok. Obay or something needs to be used because the food is not fully seasoned. This is my first time ordering this. It was a waste of money.

Saw this place on tiktok and tiktok convinced me to come. I got the Soul Rolls, Lemon Pepper Wings with fried okra and a lemonade. BOY OH BOY I was NOT expecting those soul rolls to be that good and they were great! The wings were good & a good size, not those baby wings. I enjoyed the lemonade as well. Everything is made to order so you'll have a wait on your food. This is a takeout place, there are benches outside on the side but they can get full quickly so be prepared to take it home to eat or eat in the car.

Only stopped in for some sides, got the 3 veggies with cornbread. The cornbread was really good, I couldn't tell if it was box or not but it didn't matter because it was good. The Mac and cheese was different, I'm not going to say I didn't like it but it wasn't what I was looking for at the moment. It wasn't bad just different. Now at first glance the candied yams looks weird but they along with the collards were pretty tasty. I would definitely frequent again.

We are from Maryland but have family in Marietta. My beloved family normally has blueberries and box pasta to greet us when we get done traveling with our two kids under age 4 so I'm generally starving and annoyed. We consistently treat ourselves to Mr. Diddys. We have tried the soul rolls, whiting and salmon dish. For sides we have had the Mac and cheese, greens, yams, potato salad and fries. The soul rolls are really delicious and a great sample of the sides. They have a beautifully browned crispy wrap with perfectly balanced Mac and cheese, collards and yams. You can taste the individual seasonings and they truly complement each other. The salmon is beautifully done. Never dry, gorgeously glazed and a fairing portion. Food prices are insane so even though I want more salmon than what they offer I get that it's expensive to prepare as well. The whiting is crisp, not too much breading and nicely seasoned. The sides are all really good but someone consistently puts their big toe in those collard greens. They also don't put pork in their food. I'm really grateful for that. Service is pretty good as well. I accidentally ordered from their midtown location today instead of Marietta because well 1. Idk where I am half the time and the website was trippy, 2. We were operating on no sleep and had to take my 19m old to the ER today due to him trying to be Batman and twisting his elbow (nursemaid's elbow). Imagine spending 70+ dollars of food and driving an hour away from it . I called the midtown location and couldn't get anybody but they actually called me back. The owner (I think) let us pay half price to order the food again in Marietta. Again, I'm empathetic with business owners and was just happy he worked with my husband to come to a conclusion. 130ish dollars later we were all relieved that the food was bomb. Tip: the prices vary between platforms so check that before you order. The salmon varied from 22-27 bucks. I don't have pictures because we ate like we hadn't eaten (cause we hadn't)

Food was mid i thought it was real southern food but it tasted like can collards(glory), mac and cheese w sharp thick cheddar, corn bread was burnt at bottom, like for the price i paid being a first timer i give this place 2/3 stars oh and the banana pudding was just ok we will not be back the candied yams was missing the sweetness, of the main reason people eat them. & yes i ate the fish cause it wasnt bad. I was thinking southern food meant homemade sides and desserts Service was fast, & great No tables to eat inside but very clean from where i was.

My daughter has picked up plates from here before and suggested this place. I ordered the T-Bone steak and Mac and Cheese with candied yams. Was going with collared greens and yams but they were out of greens. Everything was good. The steak was seasoned very well and came out tender and tasty. The yams and Mac and Cheese accompanied the steak very well. My daughter was very pleased with her selection. The tea grape was good too.

Decided to finally try this spot. Went around 3 on a Saturday. Weirdly, I told my husband we should go around noon bc places like this can run out of food or situations such as. And that's me assuming based on videos, comments, Instagram posts on their page, etc. Well jumping right into it, pros and cons: The mac and cheese. "Meh". I don't like spiral noodles. Too cheesy. Not really "homemade" in my opinion. Just heavy on the cheese. Green beans were terrible. Bland!!!!! Salt couldn't even help them Lord. He led me To use hot sauce and I still couldn't get flavor. Idk what happened with them and those green beans. The Lord Then led me to throw them away. Next, the soul roll were okay, they had potential but were filled with majority mac n cheese. Not equal portions as other places and Overcooked. They didn't give us greens on one plate that we asked for per receipt. They were out of yams at 3pm. Whiting was okay but overcooked. Dry and the color/texture showed it. Pieces of cornbread were different. One yellow thin and moist other short thick and super dry. They were extremely busy. Idk if this doesn't happen often and we're overwhelmed or if they weren't prepared for the day. Line literally outside of the door. Had One girl Working and she was over it, because I asked. She said it generally 2 people. They had to close for a while bc per the girl she said the owner said to. They were running out of food. Seemed very hustle and bustle. People in line had to leave due to this. (We we're waiting for our food by then). She told them it was only for 30 mins but who knows. These are were mostly cons, unfortunately. Pros, they had a lot of traffic so apparently they have a good following. I'm partial to giving restaurants another try and looking at and taking the obvious into consideration as that could Have affected the experience. And this is one of those times. We may try them 1 more time. Different food, different day, different time to Give them the benefit of the doubt on the service and taste factor.

The food that I ordered was good . It was my first visit .. I ordered grilled tilapia , cornbread and yellow rice . There were more choices but i try to stay away from fried food and desserts . However, according to other reviews the overall menu has great ratings . The flavor was on point . I didn't have anything over seasoned . The rice was a bit to mushy and my cornbread was soft because it was wrapped in foil and it was sticking to the foil wrap , but it wasn't bad. The reason for the 4 stars was the loud music. It looked fairly clean and far as I could see, but I didn't see the bathroom. The young lady up front accepting the orders was very professional and pleasant. I will order there again.

Food was pretty good. I ordered the shrimp and grits and a side of soul rolls. Everything was made fresh to order. The ambiance was urban with no dine in options. The service was friendly enough. They were playing trap music, which I didn't mind, but some may be offended. I would visit again if I'm ever out that way again. The place was an hour away from my normal neck of the woods.

I saw a Tik Tok about Mr.Diddy's and to my surprise i live less than 3 miles away. The receptionist was very cool and even caught a vibe when I started dancing to the music playing...that wasn't no radio that was somebody's playlist and I thanked them for it. Good didn't take long 15 mins like the young lady said. I'm so sorry I forgot your name. I'll be back soon so I'll get it then. But anyway we got the SoulRolls 10/10, Fried Catfish Plate 10/10 and the Wing Plate with their Special SweetHeat Sauce 10/10....but that MACARONI 12/10, and it was some fellas back there cooking. That tip I left was well deserved. ILL BE BACK NEIGHBORS!!!!
