18 Best Chinese and Taiwanese Dumplings to Eat in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Mr Dragon’s ample portion sizes are one reason why it remains a popular spot. The soup dumplings are wonderfully juicy with excellent dough consistency, as are the pan-fried buns. Order the giant iced tea to counter the heat." - Mona Holmes

Google
First time here and what caught my eye is their large portions. Got the beef noodles, popcorn chicken (a must), beef roll and spicy wonton. Everything was good. I would definitely get the beef roll and popcorn chicken again. The spicy wonton I prefer a sweeter taste while this one used more chili spices. The noodle was good and was also very flavorful.

Google
Ordered their signature beef noodle soup and the popcorn chicken. They don't have that many tables inside but luckily there was a table when we came for lunch. The food was served quite quickly after we ordered, like around 10 minutes. The beef noodles were okay, not the best but not bad either. They gave a good amount of noodles and beef too. The popcorn chicken was good though. The pieces were pretty big and not like cheap boba places where its mostly batter and not chicken. The portion size is good for sharing for groups too. Overall, I think this is a decent beef noodle place. They have other dishes and those seem pretty popular.

There's a parking lot, but a lot of people go to this plaza. So you may have to search for parking. We almost left because the lot was packed. We came on a Saturday evening. They had a waitlist, but we didn't have to wait too long. We got sat down quickly, ordered, and received our food fast. The staff are pretty efficient. Prices in house was decent compared to their delivery prices. They played EDM music, which was great. Overall, the food was good, and the portions were decent in size. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, beef noodle soup, popcorn chicken, xiao long bao, and Fujian style fried vermicelli. We are until we were stuffed and had plenty of leftovers to take home. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

Mr. Dragon Noodle House is a must-visit! Parking is tight, so join the Yelp waitlist about 11 minutes before arrival to save time. The staff is professional and friendly, providing a menu, paper, and pen while you wait. The restaurant is clean and feels fresh, enhancing the dining experience. Lemon Green Tea 🍋🍵: Comes in a big cup, perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and pairs well with the dishes. Beef Roll 🥩🌯: 10/10! The beef is seasoned beautifully, the outer roll is crunchy, and it’s served hot—pure perfection. Pan-Fried Pork Bao 🥟: A great mix of steamed and fried, soft on the outside, juicy inside, and perfectly crispy on the bottom. Dan Dan Noodles 🍜🥜: The BEST! The peanut sauce is rich and flavorful—highly recommended. Spicy Beef Noodle Soup 🌶️🥩: The beef is incredibly tender, almost melting in your mouth. So satisfying!

Google
Found this hidden gem when visiting LA. Nothing is more satisfying than having your comfort food right off the airplane. The food was top notch with big portions. Especially the Pork Xiao Long Bao and Pan Fried Pork Bao were our favourite. Staffs were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

Google
The food here is amazing! The pop corn chicken is silky smooth and batter is crunchy. The spicy pop corn chicken is pretty. Order mild if you are not into spicy food. The spicy noodle soup is just that! SPICY... But oh so good! The beef is tender and the soup is full of flavor. The pot stickers, skin is crispy on one side and soft on the other. The pork is delicious! I can't say that I've seen them prepared this way, but it is really good. The soup dumplings are probably my favorite. They come to the table, steaming hot. You gotta eat them quick. They're much better hot than any other way. In one of the photos, I think you can see the steam coming off them. The service is quick. Everybody was polite. Nice. I asked a lot of questions to make sure that our order was correct. Food came out fairly quickly and they help keep the tables clean. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty nice considering you're in a shopping strip mall setting. The way the restaurant is set up and it's design totally different world inside, then out. We traveled down from the Bay area every couple months, and this is definitely one of our first stops. Can't say anything but great things! We always look forward to eating here. Try it out if you haven't I would also suggest bringing your own to go containers and somewhere to keep it if you have to drive. You will want to take food home, so order more than you need because you are going want some later that night.

Google
super fast service, kinda cramped inside but the BEEF ROLLS ARE SO GOODDDD, the pan fried pork bao too. don’t get the xiao long bao it’s not worth it unless you like to splurge; the signature beef noodle is ass- was the most disappointing dish (go to Lao Xi for the best beef noodles)

Google
Very great food, line up was a bit long but was able to order while waiting. Location is a bit small and parking was a bit tight but nonetheless that has nothing to do with the restaurant.

Yelp
This is hella Asian American of me, but I love all their Americanized hits. Especially the Dan Dan noodles. We plan to drive over from across 626 to eat here. The beef noodle was the best for a while, but the broth has been losing flavor. However, they have amazing plates that make up for it, especially the XLB and the beef rolls and more. I wish we could come with a bigger group to try more things but they're usually busy. The line moves fast and so do the staff. I hope they're able to expand so that we can experience their goodness in a better spot or in more spots in 626!

Yelp
Solid Taiwanese comfort food. Service is fast and efficient. Really enjoyed our meal :) We ordered the following: 1. Fried Pork Buns 2. Popcorn Chicken 3. Beef Noodle Soup Highly recommend this establishment but be warned parking can be a hit or miss. It's located in a busy plaza next to the McD.
google avatar

Yelp
TLDR: Been here a few times and will be back. Great food and cute vibe. Food recs: Solid place for Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The spicy one is very spicy! Even for people (like me) who bathe in chili. I would skip the crispy dumplings. Beef roll was delicious. Pan fried pork bao was pretty good--the wrapper is thicker than Kang Kang's version. What I'm still thinking about is the dan dan noodle. The best one I've ever tried for sure.

Yelp
Fast to pay and get my to go order. The spicy braised noodle soup was delicious. Not too spicy, very tender beef and chewy noodles. Soup was also delicious and not too heavy letting the beef continue to shine. I order to go, but on the way out I saw their popcorn chicken being served to a table. And wow it looked delicious.

Yelp
This place is always great for comfort foods. It can be packed during meal times and the parking in the area is always busy. Portions are generous (as are their famous drinks). Prices are super reasonable. The service is quick and theyre always very accommodating. Our favorite is the Popcorn chicken as a quick snack. I'm a diehard fan of the Taiwanese Styled Fried Vermicelli as well. The Beef Rolls are solid and one of the better ones in the 626. I find myself getting their food for takeout when I'm at a loss of what to get. It never disappoints.

Yelp
I used to love coming here for their flavorful beef noodle soup, delicate wontons, and crispy, well-seasoned popcorn chicken, but unfortunately, the quality just isn't the same anymore. Since PPPop has the same owners and menu, I actually find their popcorn chicken to be better--crunchier and more flavorful. If you're looking for a truly rich and satisfying beef noodle soup, I'd recommend Luyixian. And if you're in the area, Mr. Dragon Noodle House is still a solid choice for a comforting bowl. Thanks for all the good times!

Yelp
Good spot to eat some good noodles. Good spot. Only issue is parking this is like at an Asian strip mall right parking along with hard to get a spot

Yelp
P.P. Pop in Monterey Park and Mr. Dragon Noodle House are actually sister restaurants -- their Chinese names are both 一條龍, and their menus are all but the same. The only differences are more dumpling offerings at Mr. Dragon Noodle House, marginally more seating, and an objectively worse parking situation. The music is also more degenerate. That being said, I absolutely adore their beef noodle soup and beef roll. Everything has the perfect chew you're looking for with a gluten product. Dan dan noodles are also pretty good, although the noodles do get a little more tangled because it's a dry noodle and not a soup noodle.

Yelp
We joined via Yelp Waitlist and were greeted outside the restaurant. The server gave us menus so we could get our food as soon as we were seated. You can write on paper menu to order and the server went over it with us to double check the selections when we were still waiting outside. Once we were seated, I went to the bathroom. There is one men and one women designated bathroom. There was very loud EDM type of music blasting and it wasn't too pleasant. This created a hectic ambiance, especially since the restaurant was super busy. The beef noodle soup was solid. Good flavor but nothing extraordinary. The xiao long bao and pan fried pork bao were delicious. I would get those again. The dan dan noodles are extremely rich but that's the main topic of that dish - I wish it had more flavor or depth. I would return for their baos and dan dan noodles. Solid place.

Yelp
We went on a Friday night and it was decently busy but didn't take long (10 mins) for us to be seated for a table for two. The service is quick and efficient. You order from a paper and the server comes by and checks off all the ordered items We ordered the dan dan noodles, beef rolls, house special beef noodles, and shrimp fried rice. My favorite was the shrimp fried rice and the Dan Dan noodles. Shrimp fried rice has. A good balance of ingredients! The Dan Dan noodles were so good and creamy-they also could do no spice for me too! The beefy chunks in the house noodle soup was so tender and just melted in the mouth. I wasn't a huge fan of the beef rolls so probably would skip that. They had a lot of cilantro. There was plenty of leftovers for another day or two with the amount ordered. I wanted to try some other stuff too but Otherwise a solid spot and will be back!

Yelp
From the outside it looked like it was closed. Walked in and felt like we walked into an authentic Chinese food mart. The place was packed and staff were constantly moving. Don't wait on polite eye contact, once you grab someone's attention service was quick. Mark the piece of paper and the staff will verbally confirm your order. I asked for the most popular dish and it was the House Special Beef Noodle soup. Also on the favorite list is the popcorn chicken and pan fried pork bao. FLAVOR. I think the noodles are made in house. Had a good chew to them but very fresh. Careful with the pan fried pork bao. Juicy and served hot! Had the perfect bite to the dough with the top chewy but the bottom crisp. Popcorn chicken was lightly battered but heavily flavored! Not a super chill restaurant vibe. Go in and get good food and talk later on the way home. We finished our meal at prime dinner time 6:30pm. There was a wait for a table so I didn't feel like chit chatting. As soon as we boxed up our leftovers, a staff would clear that empty plate. I'm sure by the time we went out the front door they had our table cleaned and ready for seating.

Yelp
What I've Tried - Beef Rolls - Sesame Dry Noodles - Wonton Soup - Xiao Long Bao - Dan Dan Noodles - Spicy Wontons - Spicy Beef Noodle Soup - Popcorn Chicken You do not have to order the typical Spicy Beef Noodle Soup! There are so many other options that I actually like more than the standard dish. Favorites for me are Sesame Dry Noodles, Wontons Soup and Xiao Long Bao. Sesame Dry Noodles doesn't have meat but has great flavor. Wonton Soup has a comforting taste to it. It is like a warm hug and keeps me wanting more. Biggest con is the parking. It is always pack and you will need to circle around a few times before you find something.

Yelp
The place is quaint but busy, study the menu before your seated as the servers will be ready to grab your order ticket when they take your drink information. Our first time here so we ordered plenty to be fair; the Storied Beff Roll, The Devils Spicy Beef Soup. Mala Spicy Soup, Spicy Pork Wontons and Potstickers... The food sheet is in order by course but the food came out any ole way Lol. First came the soups my wife didn't like the Mala Beef because it was too salty and not Spicy on the menu it had 3 Red Chili Peppers more like -1 chili she actually adeds hot chili oil to bring up the heat. My Devils Spicy Beef was fire LOL Next came the Spicy Pork Wontons those were also fire just the right amount of everything. The Beef Roll came out to our table with high expectations when I say it fell short I mean it the dough was a bit sweet but was stuffed with tons of cilantro more than i like and the beef very cool as if it was suppose to be a dessert... The Potstickers never made it, I think they gave them to the table next to us.. After the Beef roll tragedy we decided to not press for the Potstickers and end out lunch... Overall the 2 best items for us were the Spicy Pork Wontons and the Devils Spicy Beef Soup. Unless you like lots of cilantro and sweet dough wrapped Beef steer clear of the beef roll!!! If your going to check them out use the wait in line function on the Yelp app we pretty much walked in versus others sitting outside waiting.

Yelp
The main highlight of this place is definitely the service. Sunday lunch was busy and a good amount of people were waiting outside. Service is extremely fast and efficient! We thought we had a long wait ahead but they get you in and get your food to you very quick. So if you're hungry and craving good food, this is a huge plus. Servers are nice and attentive as well. Clean and modern interior. It's poppin inside. Food is a solid 4/5. Not too heavy. Big portions. I didn't taste the shrimp and cabbage really in our wontons - kinda was just a big pork ball. Also felt like the crab in the xiao long bao wasn't apparent as well. I wish the skins on the wontons and xiao long baos were the tiniest bit thicker. They fell apart or broke pretty easily. The braised beef & tendon noodle soup was yummy and clean tasting. The beef could be less tough and more tender. I'm really just nitpicking though. Other noodle/soup dishes looked delicious too so I wish I got to try something different. I really enjoyed this spot overall! Parking lot can be busy but I got lucky right away so not impossible to find a spot as people are in and out!

Yelp
Ordered an assortment of noodle soups and appetizers. The Beef roll is a highly recommendable dish to have, the beef is cooked tender and has a nice sweet and savory flavor to it. The tripe is a nice starter appetizer, plenty in that one order and tastes very nice with how it's prepared in soy sauce. The House Special Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is very flavorful and the chunks of beef are thick but tender and easy to chew through. The noodles are nice and chewy and the broth is heavy with flavor but light on your stomach. The pan fried bao have a crispy bottom with a soft top, good broth inside and decent pork inside. The xiao long bao have a slightly thicker dumpling skin on the outside but have a good filling inside too. Location is in a busy plaza with other stores too so it can get very busy very quickly. Service was fast and because it was a dinner rush, they made us order beforehand while we waited. Interior is typical, decorated with simple tile textures and portraits of the food. The only room for improvement would be managing the waiting space at the front, there's many people waiting to be seated and it becomes a struggle where they have to have people standing outside in the narrow walkpath.

Yelp
Went here for Christmas lunch (right when it opened at 11am so there was no line). Ordered a bunch - beef roll, pork w/ leek potstickers, pork ramen, beef with fried udon, shrimp with fried rice, xiao long bao, a noodle soup with mushrooms and wonton and it was all delicious (except the wonton my mom said it was just ok). Shrimp fried rice was surprisingly really good. I love the milk tea and we were surprised the green tea came in a huge cup. My sibs were pretty impressed with the food. They were able to accommodate no bean sprouts this time so I'm pretty happy. We had a lovely lunch together.

Yelp
A great option for Taiwanese food instead of waiting in line for din tai fung. This place is located in a busy plaza which parking can be difficult sometimes. Decided to grab lunch on a Sunday with my bf because he was craving dumplings. We ordered the beef noodle soup, spicy wonton, potstickers and beef wrap. Beef noodle soup-4/5 pretty decent with a good amount of meat, not too salty but I wish it was a little more flavor. It was just a little spicy but nothing too hot to handle. Spicy wonton 4/5- good amount of meat but was a bit too spicy for me. Pot stickers 5/5- big and pretty juicy Beef wrap- 5/5 was def my bf and I favorite dish g because of the texture of the wrap and how saucy it is. Overall, it def a place that I would come back to.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night and it was packed. Which was a good indicator of what the food was going to be like. My family and I signed up for the wait list on Yelp. Unfortunately, because it was so busy our time got pushed back. However, it was definitely worth the wait. The dumplings had so much flavor and delicious broth. The garlic greens were nice and flavorful. The popcorn chicken was crispy and not too spicy. The star of the night was the dan dan noodles. The sauce was perfectly cream and had a nice balance of spice. The place is small and crowded but they really try and get everyone's food served quickly.

Yelp
Same owner/family of PP Pot in Monterey Park, formerly Supreme Dragon. The Chinese name remains the same though "一條龍". The restaurant is decorated mainly with wood. There are several bamboo lantern lights hanging on the ceiling, traditional and modernized. Service was friendly and efficient. Food served here is mainly noodles. You can choose regular noodles or rice noodles. There are also variety of Chinese stir-fried dishes, cold dishes, snacks and drinks. The beef noodle soup is very comforting and delicious, reminds me of "Noodle King" which closed down few years ago. Beef Roll has a lot of meat and it's tender and savory with just enough of sauce, not overly sweet. This is our usual spot to get our Taiwanese beef noodle craving fix! Food here is decent and it's a good local noodle place.
google avatar

Yelp
Shrimp Fried Rice is clean, light, fluffy and delicious! Days later, I enjoy it the same! Annnnd that popcorn chicken is delicious! I was pleasantly surprised! I'd order these items over and over lol. Ordered through DoorDash, fast delivery and the food was still hot! My type of delivery!
google avatar

Yelp
A great option if you're looking for a solid Taiwanese/Chinese spot and if you're craving spicy food and dumplings and noodles! I came here on a Friday night and it was packed, but my friend added us on the waitlist online which I would recommend doing so before arriving. All the food we had was great! My favorite dish of the night was the pan-fried shrimp pork with vegetable baos. The dough was soft and sweet with a nice crispy bottom. The meat inside was so juicy and soupy. This paired with chili oil was delicious. The xiao long baos were also great as well! Soupy, juicy, and meaty! The service was fast here. There's also a parking lot outside, but it's limited. I would definitely come back here again if I'm craving spicy foods and dumplings.

Yelp
Mr Dragon Noodle House is second to none. By far one of my favorite dumpling spots to sit and grab a bite. I have been to both this location and their Diamond Bar location and each has it's pro's and cons. The Rosemead location offers a more extensive menu but wait times are longer and the parking can be a bit of a nightmare during rush hour. The Diamond Bar location offers a more condensed menu but i've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table and there is plenty of parking. The food at both locations (which is what matters most) has always been consistent in taste and we have always received great service. The size of both locations are pretty similar but I do feel like the Rosemead location is slightly larger. Now onto the food! We tend to go in a group so we can order a wide variety of dumplings, sides, and noodles. Our usual order consists of - Wonton Soup (Broth is delicious and dumplings are flavorful) - Beef roll (The cilantro they pack in the roll and the sauce they use is so yummy) - Shrimp fried rice (By far my favorite frice of any place i've been too. Their rice is not greasy and again sooo flavorful! I could literally eat a bowl of this rice everyday) - Pork and Crab Xiao long bao (Again, their broth is delicious! Adding a bit of vinegar inside the dumpling takes it to a whole other level) - Pan fried pork bao (Love the presentation and crispy bottom texture) - Pork potstickers (classic pan-fried dumpling) - Black pepper beef fried udon (perfectly cooked noodles with tender beef and a bit of a sweet sauce and veggies all combined) Needless to say, Mr Dragon Noodle House is one of those must try spots that you will want to frequent often.

Yelp
Great service fast ... was at Huntington Library and ran into a family that recommended this place. Yes it was good the ramen could have had a richer broth. The chili pork dumplings were ok. The passion fruit tea was great. Alot of competition in area not sure I will go back .

Yelp
I came here to try this spot for my first time with a friend and wish I knew about this place sooner! We came on a Sunday night around 6pm, and so glad we came before the dinner rush (~6:30pm) because we didn't have to wait for a table. If there is a wait, you put your name down on a table at the front entrance. They give you a menu and ordering sheet to write your order in (similar to Din Tai Fung ordering). The prices are on the ordering sheet and the menu has pictures. We ordered the pork xiao long bao, house special beef noodle soup (MUST GET ITEM), and pan fried pork bao. The house beef noodle soup and the pan friend pork bao were both very top notch. The noodle soup had plenty of noodles and large chunks of beef. The beef was super tender. Bok choy was fresh and crunchy, not over done. The soup inside the pork bao was so flavorful and the bun part was steamed so nicely without it tasting too bread-y. The restaurant was clean and the waiters were very attentive. Parking can be tricky though. It is inside a plaza right next to McDonalds so traffic can make it tough to get inside the parking lot. Just be patient and expect to wait 10 minutes for a parking spot.

Yelp
Food was fantastic, service was quick. Prices were reasonable. We will be back . Their seaweed salad was fresh and tasty. Teas came ginormous. Loved it! Definitely authentic Chinese food. Beef noodle soup was made perfect. The noodles were super yummy!

Yelp
The food here is great! We ordered pork potstickers, beef roll, hot oil pork wonton, and braised beef tendon noodz which was more than enough for 3 adults. I like that the pork wonton had a kick because most places even though it says spicy it usually isn't. All the food came out piping hot and quick even during a lunch rush. They also serve their drinks in these huge beer glass which is quite filling. Parking during lunch time can be a bit rough has there's various businesses in this small plaza.
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly? I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here. Came here with family (so we could order more and try a little bit of everything, hahahaah). Even then we ordered wayyy more food than we could finish. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles and it had the perfect chew and seasoning. The fried pork buns come out piping hot and are filled with soup so be careful when you bite into it (best to let it cool if you're dining in). It's probably my favorite thing to order here, the bread is soft but the bottom is crispy and it's so flavorful! The fried dumplings had the perfect layer of crispness and our order of tripe was fresh and spicy! The beef rolls here are good too, compact and nicely rolled - tho I will say ahgoo's is still my go to place for beef rolls tho. Their soup dumplings were good too, tho I prefer the fried pork buns more. I ordered a beef noodle soup to go for my boyfriend and let's just say that Mr. Dragon noodle house has become one of his go to places as well. If you're debating if you should get a drink, the mango or passion green tea are great choices! Service here is better than a majority of other restaurants in SGV, and they have a mix of booth and chair seating.

Yelp
Mr. Dragon Noodle House has a delectable varieties of dumplings and more. The restaurant is located in Lucky Plaza in Rosemead. The  restaurant was clean. All the servers were very friendly and nice. We ordered many dishes to try all our favorite. We got the following; - Braised beef Tendon Noodle Soup -Beef Roll - Xiao Long Bao -Crab with pork Xiao Long Bao - Pan Fried Pork Bao -Popcorn chicken - Shrimp fried rice cake - Pan fried shrimp pork with vegetables wonton - Giant Mango Green Tea The beef roll is the BEST! All the Xiao Long bao were very juicy and flavorful. The popcorn is a must try there. The Braised beef Tendon Noodle Soup was very delectable, the tendons were soft and perfectly cooked and the beef was tender. The Mango Green Tea was very refreshing. It is really a great place to eat and enjoy every single dish you order. I will be back soon. I absolutely recommend Mr. Dragon Noodle House.

Yelp
So happy to have found this restaurant! Myself and a friend were in the area and happened along this place with a great reviews. We were coming in on a Saturday afternoon so while I was nervous we would have issues getting a table, I also knew there was a wait list so I was hopeful the wait wouldn't be too long. When we got there though, we were seat promptly and greeted by the staff. As the menu depicts, they are famous for their noodles. The menu had tons of choices and especially different choices when it came to beef. I ended up ordering an entree which consisted of noodles and beef while my friend got the ramen. We also ordered the soup dumplings and beef rolls as appetizers. The food came out super quick and the portions were huge. We definitely had enough for two and were able to bring leftovers home with us. While the restaurant is not huge, it has a lively environment since everyone is enjoying themselves. I can tell this place is popular as the day gets later. Definitely check it out!

Yelp
We tried Mr. Dragon before and forgot the name when we were in the area and recognized the plaza. Mr. Dragon is busy as usual as their food is great. There are plenty of tables but they are quite popular. We brought our friends with us and they agreed all the dishes we ordered was spot on delicious. If you are looking for great Xiao Long Bao and noodle dishes then give Mr. Dragon a try they are great. Service is good and note all parties must be present before being seated.

James L.

Yelp
Some dishes are so ubiquitous and common, that almost every restaurant serves them, but few get it just right. Take beef noodle soup or beef rolls for example. I've had some good ones, and there are ones that are just awful. Mr. Dragon has managed to nail it. It's located in an oddly shaped strip mall where parking is constantly a challenge. The angles and many amateur drivers who stop and block traffic makes coming here an experience. But once you get the food, it's worth it. I always order what they're known for: Popcorn chicken, a generous serving of hot and crispy chicken sprinkled with their seasoning. Even 'mild' packs a bunch of flavor. These should be eaten fresh. Their beef roll is in a perfectly wrapped shell. It's slightly flaky but soft enough to bite through easily and won't fall apart. The light sweet sauce pairs well with the thinly sliced beef. One of my favorite food is beef noodle soup, and Mr. Dragon makes the perfect bowl. The beef is consistently tender and falls apart by its own weight. The broth is nicely seasoned, has flavor but not too salty. Mr. Dragon is a great comfort food spot. So far, everything I've tried here has been great. Although you're not likely to get super friendly , personable service, they're efficient and are able to keep up with the constant turnover of the busy dining room. Tips: Do Yelp waitlist when you're almost there, it'll cut down in the wait time. Better yet, don't come during rush hours. Look for parking on the streets, outside of the parking lot to cut down in your steer level. Let's be honest, there are a lot of lousy drivers in the SGV.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came around 6-7 pm on a weekday, and there was no wait. Food came out relatively fast, and it was all tasty. My favorite was the beef noodle soup - might be one of the best beef noodle soups I have ever had. It was perfectly seasoned with extremely tender pieces of beef. I also liked the spicy wontons, but definitely come here to try the beef noodles.

Yelp
Service was amazing. They were very patient with us and our kids. We always make sure to clean up after our kids when they eat. Food was so good. Probably the best beef noodle we had in awhile. Can't believe their drinks are only $5 and it's a stein. Decorations were great! Nice red to black ratio. Makes it pop.

Yelp
We came for lunch and were promptly seated. The food came out fresh and delicious. We got the beef roll, shrimp and pork wontons in spicy sauce, potstickers, spicy beef noodle soup, and chicken fried rice. The dumplings were all delicious. Potstickers were juicy. The beef roll was a little too sweet for some of us but I thought it was decently sweet. The spicy items are like a medium to hot level. We were used to mild spice so we drank a lot of water. The servers came around often to check up on us and refill our waters. Only thing is that they didn't have any desserts. Otherwise, would definitely come back.

Yelp
Parking: They're located in a medium sized plaza. It's very busy considering there are other popular restaurants in the same plaza. Parking can be difficult to find. Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of seating ranging from small to large groups. We dined for a party of 6 around 17:00. We were seated right away. Usually around 18:00-20:00 is their dinner rush. Service: All servers were amazing! They're quick and efficient. They constantly refilled our water cups almost every 5-10 minutes, which was very much appreciated. Dishes: All menu items were shareable. We all ordered something different and tried each other's dishes. Unfortunately we did not order drinks! Not only are they known for their delicious dishes, they are also known for their beverages served in a GENEROUS cup! 1) Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup - I love the noodles! It was definitely spicy. They were generous with the beef. I could tell it was cooked well since it easily ripped apart. The broth was flavorful, but it seemed to have excess fat or too much oil. 2) Popcorn Chicken - Can't mess up a classic appetizer. The breading tasted exactly like any other popcorn chicken. Very crunchy. You can adjust the spice level, and we asked for the spice powder on the side. 3) Pan Fried Pork Bao - The outer layer of the bao was soft. Careful when biting it because some soup might squirt out. These were absolutely delicious and steaming hot. 4) Pork Potsticker - These reminded me of gyozas/dumplings. Crispy on one side and steamed on the other. These were very large! Pork was cooked well and flavorful. 5) Beef Rolls - The pastry was crunchy, and there was a lot of fall out. It was rolled well being that everything stuck together even after a bite. The beef wasn't my favorite .. maybe if it was served with its own sauce? 6) Pork Fried Rice Cake - This doesn't seem like a lot, but the rice cakes were fulfilling. The sauce wasn't too salty. Lots of flavor and generous amount of meat. 7) Dan Dan Noodles - These were also fulfilling! The noodles are thick! It was served with a lot of toppings and chili oil. Make sure to mix everything well. This was spicy, but you can always adjust. Pricing: Definitely worth it! Everything is shareable and sizes are generous!

Yelp
Simply put.. the beef noodle soup and the pan fried dumplings had me in a chokehold. I love when the beef in soup is tender and when the noodles have a good chew. I could eat bokchoy forever if it was always served with soup. Their beef roll gets an honorable mention! Service was quick with it. 4.8 star experience and would be back on a weekday to avoid the weekend parking madness.

Yelp
I came here for the popcorn chicken, which was great. What surprised me was how good the rest of the food was. Fried rice was solid, beef rolls good, and the beef noodle soup was great as well. Staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The parking situation can get pretty hectic, but if you can manage to get in, it's well worth the visit.

Yelp
We put our name on a waitlist, so we're seated right away. The menu was very easy to read, and the waiters answered any questions we had. We ordered a couple different noodle dishes, the beef roll and the spicy pork dumplings. Everything came to the table very quickly and everything was extremely delicious and full of flavor. I almost did not order the beef udon because I usually don't like udon but almost every other table had it so I figured I must give it a try. I was amazingly light and fresh nit dense and chewy like most udon I have had. I would probably even get it again. I will definitely be going back to Mr. Dragon noodle House. Especially to try some of the soups in the colder weather.

Yelp
We were really craving beef noodle soup and a friend told us that this was the place to go and we were so glad that we got to finally try this place out! We got beef noodle soup, spicy dumplings, soup dumplings and the popcorn chicken. Everything was really good! We wish the broth for the noodle soup was hotter because it was served lukewarm. The restaurant was crowded but we got our foods relatively quick which we liked

Yelp
I absolutely love come here! They have good large portions for a reasonable price compared to bigger chains like DTF. The interior is a bit small but overall it's worth the wait if there's any. My favorite dish here is the fried shrimp rice!

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday night and was seated within a few minutes. The restaurant is not super big so it felt a little crowded, but the staff was very quick and efficient in flipping tables. My table ordered beef noodle soups, wontons, pan fried pork bao, and popcorn chicken. Everything was delicious and served very hot. I definitely didn't let the bao cool enough before eating and burned my mouth, so beware. I also ordered a passion green tea and it came out in a giant cup, so that was nice. Overall, I would come back again.

Yelp
We came, we saw, we left. First the bad -- parking is horrible in this shopping center. Besides feeling like you'll get mowed over as a pedestrian, it's difficult to even find a spot to begin with. We came to Mr. Dragon Noodle House as we were hungry during the holidays and craving noodles. This place has a pad at each table where you circle what you want and someone will come by to pick it up. We ordered the famous beef roll, but as others have mentioned, unless you're obsessed with cilantro, you should skip it. We ordered Pork Xiao Long Bao along with pan fried pork bao and while they were hot, we've had better elsewhere. Lastly we ordered popcorn chicken and while it was plentiful, it wasn't anything to write home about. Mr. Dragon Noodle House has large portions, but I'm not sure we'd return as this was the only "win". Maybe we just didn't order the right things to get the full satisfying experience other patrons have had.

Yelp
I highly recommend their house special beef noodle soup! The soup was so rich, and the beef was tender. I subtracted a star because the pork xiao long baos were off the day I went. A few pieces did not have any soup at all. The pan fried pork baos were good. It was crispy on the outside and had juicy pork inside. Overall, if you had to try one thing here please try the house special beef noodle! There is free parking outside. I came to eat lunch around 12pm on a Monday and the parking was packed but was able to find a spot. Staff was also quick and efficient when you need something.

Yelp
Very tasty! Came in around noon and sat immediately. The staff were super friendly and were very well organized. The potstickers and dumplings were super juicy and delicious. The popcorn chicken was so light and crappy and the flavors were so well balanced!

Yelp
Dinner in Rosemead, Los Angeles, California... For my last dinner while on vacation, we went through Regis K.'s activity feed and agreed on Mr Dragon Noodle House. While driving there, I got on the Yelp waitlist. Outside of the restaurant, there was a free parking space right in front! Inside, it was crowded, but we got a seat immediately! Looking at the menu and checking off the paper order form with a provided pen was a breeze! The food came quickly! Service was efficient! I actually liked the Shrimp Fried Rice Cake more than I expected! I wanted noodles, but most items were with soup, and I didn't really want fried noodles. Rice cake is like sliced mochi. It's chewy, but not thick. My grandma used to place them in soup! The Crab with Pork Xiao Long Bao were tasty, as were the beautiful Shrimp Leek and Pork Pan-fried dumplings! Thank you, Regis, for your informative review and excellent photos! That's why I'm your Yelp follower!

Yelp
Came here for lunch with a friend, and wow the parking situation is a mess! There is definitely not enough parking in the lot for all the businesses in the area. I ended up parking on a residential street and walking over. There was a bit of a wait, but that gave us the chance to review the menu and have our order picked out by the time we were seated. We decided to try the xiao long bao, popcorn chicken, pan fried pork bao, and spicy braised beef noodle soup. Everything we ordered was super yummy and it was way more than enough food for 2 people. The service was quick and friendly, although the restaurant itself is a bit small and cramped.

Yelp
A must-get would always be the dan dan noodles, popcorn chicken, pan fried buns, and of course beef noodle soup! You can choose whether to get spicy or regular beef noodle soup and honestly the spicy beef noodle soup isn't as spicy as the dan dan noodles in my opinion. Drinks are pretty worth the price considering how big it is. Popcorn chicken is definitely a sharing portion.

Yelp
I revisited this location since I remember loving it the first time. Since this place is called a Noodle House, I decided to try their House Special Beef Noodle Soup. It was so good! It was overall flavorful and the beef was tender. The workers were very attentive and kind. This place was packed with lots of friends and family and I can tell why they're always so busy! It's so good! I do have to say that finding parking can be difficult. This area has packed parking and sometimes small spaces.
