We had such a great experience at Mr. Docks in Ocean City, especially during happy hour! 🍤🍹 The food and drinks were delicious, and the prices were perfect for our big group. Our waitress was incredibly patient and attentive with every single request — she really made our visit enjoyable and stress-free. And the best part? We were lucky enough to see dolphins from the porch while we ate! 🐬🌊 Truly a beautiful and unforgettable moment. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for good vibes, great service, and a little magic by the water.

We came here for a quick lunch and ordered the soft shell crab sandwich and the crab balls as well as the steamed shrimp. The crab balls are a great alternative if you want crab meat but not too much. I really like the soft shell crab sandwich, it goes well with any sauce and it’s light and crunchy. Really appreciated the fast service here too, food came out fast and tasty!

Another great bar in Ocean City MD if you want to hang out on the water and watch the fishing boats in. Get the crab appetizer and dogs or even the fish sammy Beers are gold geat selection of dranks and SUCK THE DUCK if you dare!!! Great place to enjoy but if you must have white linens and table cloths and AC this is not your jam. If you want check out the weigh on ins for fish tourneys like big Huk.classic among others, fantastic time on Talbott street. Also one of the best spots for sunsets in Ocean City.

In March, only outdoor dining at the bar available. They had the tent around the outdoor bar and a few high tops available. We arrived shortly before 6 on a Thursday, and happy hour ends at six. We were given a hard time about ordering two items from the happy hour menu. Again, we arrived before 6 and they claimed they weren’t sure if it would be possible since “it’s already 5:52 pm, so I’m not sure if you can.” If we were able to chat at the front about no indoor seating, and then be taken to a high top, wait for a server and menus, and then wait for the server to come back and take our order, we were clearly there BEFORE 6 pm. Anyway… The food was meh. For me, at least. The two teen boys with me enjoyed their food. They said the steamed shrimp and bufflehead burger were great and the fish part of the fish and chips meal was good. The consensus of the fries was bleh. We got a hotdog (part of the happy hour) and it didn’t even come warm. Two of us each had one bite and decided it just wasn’t worth eating. I had chicken fingers and they were what you would expect as a frozen middle priced boxed generic brand chicken fingers that you can get from a big box store. Meh. The atmosphere seemed very much like a place the locals go for a drink with friends. Felt like a very friendly and fun place to hangout and grab a drink. I was not a fan of the pricing on my bill not matching exactly what the menu stated. I get that the price isn’t a large difference, but different is still different. Every single item ordered was a different price on the menu than what came on my bill. For me, that’s deceitful. You decide for yourself. I would not rate this place a four, however I gave it a 4 since the majority of our group enjoyed it and the math calculated it was closer to a 4 than a 3. 🤷‍♀️

To be fair we came during a weekday right as they opened. My fish sandwich was soggy and disappointing. I thought the waitress could have been more attentive since it was really slow. The bar was hopping. Our table and chairs were wet but that's the nature of an outside spot. I think the prices could be better for what they are offering. I did not try one of the main courses so it may be more impressive seafood. I will try it again; I really wanted to like it because I know its been around for a while!

I've been coming to Ocean City fairly regularly since the mid 80s. Finally made it to M.R. Ducks. Thought I'd buy a t-shirt, if it was good. Got seated right away outside along the marina. Great view. Server came by fast. Got soft drinks fast, too, though only about 10 oz cups. Food came quickly, too. Fish and chips and a fish sandwich. Had a long wait for utensils and malt vinegar. Half way through, needed drink refills. Server didn't check on us until we were done. The food was good, though. Tiny portion of coleslaw was average. Probably won't go back in peak season. Maybe after Labor Day. Oh, I didn't think the experience warranted paying $30 for a t-shirt to advertise for them.

To be honest I never had their food, but friends love it. The environment is one of the best in ocean city. A beautiful bay view and so much fun being on a dock setting. The chug a duck is a classic! High recommended for anyone living or visiting ocean city

A friend and I went to M.R. Ducks for a drink before dinner. It was busy but comfortable. We stood on the side near the bar and watched the boats. I had a refreshing pina colada, and it was great!

Excellent atmosphere. Food was very good, we had the Crab Balls, fries with beer cheese, Maryland fish and chips. Server could have been a little more attentive.

Excellent steamed shrimp before charter fishing! Walked right up to waterfront seating, watching boats come and go. Service was quick.

This always seems to be the bar just about everyone I know ends up at, at some point during the summer. The bad reviews are silly. This is a bar by the water, don't get it twisted. Great merch and enough bartenders to keep the drinks flowing. Just come expecting that and you'll have a great time. Any bar is going to have some trouble with finding a seat, get over it. Bartenders used to not like me it seemed but I think I'm growing on them.

Took my six year old on his first charter fishing experience and he loved it. We caught four fish, the captain and first mate were super knowledgeable and friendly. Great music playing on the boat speakers, and the cost was really affordable- will definitely use this company's services again in a heartbeat.

Food was fine, and service was somewhat slow though I understand since they were very busy. I absolutely love the atmosphere...right by the water with the sea gulls and the breeze. The drinks were amazing! Probably my favorite thing about this place...and my favorite one was Shark Bite As a side note, there is a bathroom on the deck (outside) but it's not labeled.

M.r. Ducks stole my real ID and I had to get the cops involved. Asked management for assistance and they refused to do anything. And when the cop came and confirmed it was me the man just walked away and didn't even apologize. Great way to ruin my boyfriends 22 birthday is waiting for the cops instead of going out.

This is one of my favorite bars in lower Ocean City overlooking the bay. This is a happening place. We were waiting to board the yellow OC (Ocean City) Rocket high speed boat. When we arrived here two customers left the bar. We sat on their two bar stools at the bar. I enjoyed my Berlin Peach Press for $10.41. There is a credit card surcharge. My total bill was $19 charged to my credit card less gratuity or $17.90 if I paid with cash less gratuity. We agreed we will continue to return here for drinks.

Found this place nearby to where we were staying at. All the seating is outdoor, however the bar area is kind of covered. Our waitress was super nice and overall really helpful with any questions we had. Couldn't of asked for better service. Definitely a more casual place with a nice view with being on the water. Some things we ordered were: -fish tacos (2/5) -crab balls (5/5) -spicy chicken sandwich(4/5) -buffalo wings (2/5) -crab cake sandwich but with salad instead (4/5) -strawberry cooler, mimosas (5/5) There were a few other things but I can't remember. Will definitely be back to try different items next summer.

Visited last Thursday while visiting various WOC haunts and making our way back to town. Of all the years they've been around OC, this was my first visit. Tour boats are moored close by and another OC restaurant mainstay is a neighbor. Between beers and cocktails as well as friendly service from the barmaids we also enjoyed hot dogs. Very good, plump dogs direct from the steamer at the outdoor bar. Another customer moved his seat so my buddy and I could sit together. In shore style class, we bought him and his buddy a drink. And they reciprocated! Yep, M.R's is a must in SOC

Save time and MONEY!! Got there and told hour wait, will call us when ready. Hour and 15 minutes no call, went to hostess and was told she called twice. No missed calls so was never called. Got sat in section we had asked to not be sat in amongst loud middle aged drunks trying to relive their prime years. Ordered crab balls for $17. Got 4 tiny balls and was told that's it. Rip off....$4 upgrade for 10 fries from chips. Forgot to mention $17 crab ball appetizers were brought out AFTER meals. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Came during color fest of 2024 and had a great time. The service was really good and the view is amazing!!

the crew was amazing and very knowledgeable. we lucked out and got to dock right where a band of horses were grazing and that was the main reason the booking the trip!!!

Our favorite place in OC, best atmosphere, great food, awesome drinks, amazing bartenders. Can't wait to go back!

Ate lunch there on 11/5. Amazing! Friendly service, DELICIOUS FOOD, we ordered 4 different plates of food and they were all awesome and we enjoyed the water on a 70 degree November day. What else could be better?

The food and outdoor seating are very good. The perfect time to come is at sunset because the restaurant faces the bay, and you can watch the sunset. I enjoyed a broiled crab cake sandwich (the options were either broiled or fried), and it comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a side of bagged chips. I had to ask for some tartar sauce, and the only thing the sandwich was missing was a pickle. I did not upgrade for fries. I shared an appetizer of the crabby pretzel which was also delicious. Also the Irish Tea tasted exactly like a peach tea and had no alcohol taste. It was very smooth and refreshing.

service was excellent, sandwiches were delicious and the fish was fresh. Gave us a free replacement of a milkshake we spilled. On the water, nice breeze.

It is what it is. Great view. Cold beer. Fish flounder I tasted like dirty tilapia. The striped bass wasn't striped bass. Ashamed that I can't find great seafood in ocean city

Drinking a beer and a shot out of a plastic duck was magical. Highly recommend the chug a ducks and being on a dock on the water added to the attic experience of a beach bar

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Assateague Adventure Cruise that we went on last August, 2024. I especially liked the part where they let us get off the boat and gave us a net to catch whatever we could, I caught a baby crab! Of course I put it back into the water. :D

My family and I came here for dinner one night, and honestly, it was great. The ambience was very relaxing by the docks. We were lucky and had a spot by the side of the water. You can watch the boats. It's beautiful. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The food was awesome! Some of the best fish and chips I've had during our stay. They are the battered kind which I like. Good orange crushes. We will certainly be back.

My husband worked at the Talbot Inn in college and always raved about the burger so I had to give it a try. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! The fries were also delicious! It was so nice to sit outside and look out at the bay They close for the season next weekend so you've got to go soon. We'll be back next year for sure!

Best place in OC to have drinks. The atmosphere is awesome. The food is really good.

We went on The Oc Rocket! It was a blast the captain was amazing the boat ride itself was fun then the best part we got to see dolphins and the captain made waves and the dolphins were playing. Definitely an amazing experience and highly recommend!!

Very dive esque bar on the water, liked it a lot. Unfortunately I wish they would come up with new flavors for the ducks. I've never felt so hungover after one natty and one shot of amaretto

This is a must visit in West Ocean City the outdoor tiki bar is amazing and is located in the Marina. Excellent customer service and long history of providing the public with great food and grog

We found out the local story of the name of M.R. Ducks and also enjoyed a sample of this restaurant in an Ocean City foodie tour. Our sample was so good we went back the next day! It did not disappoint (except that they were out of the crab cake sandwich.) Blackened Mahi fish tacos were filling and delicious as was the Buffleburger. Also enjoyed the crab potato chips on the side. Location was picturesque too. Outdoor on the bay overlooking the sunset. Hostess and wait staff were professional, warm and friendly. Definitely a good spot to enjoy food and view. I

I had the best shrimp wrap in all of ocean city here it was fantastic. This restaurant has amazing bay side views and the ambiance is gorgeous and fun. The waitress was really sweet and attentive great service all around. We also did the chug a duck challenge featured on my YouTube. Honestly it was fun and delicious a little messy but such a great time. Will definitely be back.

Boat ride itself was OK. But, this year we didn't see the horses. Main reason we paid for the boat ride. Nothing was said about it while in the boat or why we didn't go see the horses. Also, this is my 3rd year in a row taking this boat ride & every year I got a call stating I had to pick another time to ride. I am.in vacation I book it at a certain time for a reason. My whole day had to be rearranged bc the captain had an emergency at 230pm (original scheduled time) but not at 1230. Every timei book with you guys you call me to reschedule. Therefore, I will book on another boat next year. My vacation is not to accommodate you. ​

We spent a week in the OC in September at the Cambria hotel across the street from Mr. Ducks. It quickly became our "go to" lunch spot. Plenty of outdoor tables and super friendly service. We felt like one of the locals by the end of the week (this place seems to be a local favorite). Unfortunately I only tried "The Pounder" crab tower (1lb of lump crab) on our last day, and boy was this a huge mistake...I should have been ordering this from day one! It was amazing! Heaps of large pieces of super fresh crab with just the right amount of old bay seasoning. It was served hot, and with a dip of butter just melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend ordering this with a friend, as my wife and I shared this and I don't think we even finished. I'm also a fan of the ahi tuna nachos, which were just the right mix of fresh tender ahi tuna and crunchy chip with a bit of seaweed on top. Perfect appetizer to share before you gorge on "The Pounder!" Again, big fan of Mr. Ducks and can't wait for our next trip back to OC so I can binge on more crab!

Joe the bartender is the man! Made us feel right at home from the minute we sat down. Told us all about the specials, the happy hour and his favorite spots in OCMD. Spent some good quality time with everyone at the bar. The views are incredible. Boats are always coming and going and give some great entertainment. I highly suggest getting down around 4:30-5:00 to get a seat at the bar and get your night started. Then head over to Spain wine bar and restaurant for dinner. Just a short walk. Review to come!!! I'm usually the last person to leave these types of reviews, but this places service was absolutely atrocious. They told us we had to wait and after 30 minutes, we asked what the deal is, they told us they had no idea how long it would take. Another 30 minutes go by and we asked the same question. Now the answer is completely different. There's only 1 table available to us and we're the fourth in line. we wasted more than an hour and a half waiting for this place for them to tell us the simple answer that they could've told us 30 minutes in. We could've left and ate somewhere else. What a joke.

Fun ride to see dolphins. You won't be disappointed. Great Captain and crew. If you sit on the ends you will get wet.

Best thing about this restaurant, it's located on the water. Waitress was ok. The food was not great. Firecracker shrimp tasted like it came out of a frozen bag of shrimp. Steamed shrimp soggy & covered in some sort of seasoning. Dining area was nice. Seating area all outside.

I took the Assateague Adventure tour. Only $25 per person. Very nice tour with the Captain and tour guide being very engaging. They gave a good rundown of Ocean City Inlet history and some Assateague island info as well. They have some commonly seen sea creatures aboard the boat for some show and tell. I really enjoyed this tour and would do it again.

We stopped by at M.R. Ducks after taking a a boat ride on Assateague Adventure. I stopped here with my family after the boat ride, everyone was starving. The food here was good enough to satisfy everyone's hunger, with great service and drinks. Below is a more detailed description of my visit. Service 5/5- Service here was amazing. We were seated almost immediately and the server was very attentive to our table and constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Drinks 4/5- I ordered the orange crush, my sister ordered a tropical mango drink and my dad got a beer. These were all pretty standard and matched our expectations. Food 4/5 - I didn't have too many expectations on the quality of the food, we mostly stopped here because it was very close to the dock. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the black bean avocado wrap, it was filled with loads of flavor and definitely satisfied my hunger. My dad and sister got the grilled chicken sandwich and they weren't huge fans. They described the sandwich as a little bland. If you do end up getting the sandwich, I'd recommend getting some ranch and hot sauce on the side.

Went to the bar and the bartenders ignored me for the first 10 minutes, a patron sitting at the bar tried to get their attention for me and the same result. Then the bartender had an attitude when taking my order, I was somewhat taken aback being that it wasn't that crowded and there were three of them working, I ended up leaving the bar and taking my business elsewhere. I've been there to eat on several occasions and the service is pretty slow but you take it with a grain of salt because the food is pretty good and we always visit the shop and buy souvenirs and enjoy the sunset. Bye.

I searched for a dog friendly place for lunch today and this one came up first. We wanted to try it, but when we arrived with our dog we were told "no dogs allowed" very disappointing. Angler' next door was very accommodating g and even had a doggie menu!! I recommend going there.

The captain and first mate were fantastic. All 5 of us caught something and had a great time. The person behind the desk however does not like customers. He (Shawn) was rude to the person in front of us and continued he rudeness with me. Telling me "This is not my first rodeo", and " the next time I take off I not coming back". That would be the best thing for the owners.

Absolutely best tuna nachos I ever had. The grapefruit crush was also a ten star. Great friendly service as well.

Not great food & not the seafood options I expected but the staff was nice & it's a pretty spot on the water.

I am so disappointed in the bartending service there. I love going to have drinks with friends however, there is a bartender (she has bleach blonde hair and I think her name starts with a J) that is always so rude to us. The last time we went, she even had the audacity to cuss us out because we asked if we could get extra cups with ice for our drinks. This is not the first time that she has been unprofessional and discourteous, and we will not be going back to this bar because of how rude she is. Very sad for one employee to ruin the atmosphere for the entire venue.

Nice outdoor area. A little crowded. Good service. Ordered the Mahi Tacos. They were mediocre.

Hands down my favorite spot in Ocean City -- or honestly, maybe anywhere. The food, drinks, and ambiance are INCREDIBLE and I never have anything but a smile on my face while there. It truly feels like home to me every time I step out onto that dock. Nothing but good things to say every. single. time. ALWAYS Chug a Duck, and GET THE OLD BAY WINGS! Can also never go wrong with a good old Crabby Pretzel and a Bar Dog.

Came here to drink beer out of the duck and it was a blast! Didn't stay long but it was definitely a great time!

Nice place on the water off the pier from our boat ride. Had crab balls, their version of fish and chips and some various fish dishes as well as chicken fingers for the kids. All were tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and attentive.

Another one for the books - part of the tour for the Jimmy Litz 2019 on a Friday after happy hour for some liquid in which I nearly caved at the bar - great food, great service. Nothing has changed in a good way - drinks are cold and come out quickly, as well as reasonable prices for a prime location. Staple on the trip - and will be keeping it that way.

After spending our afternoon fishing we came here to get our catch cooked up. They served the fish with some fries. The blackened fish had great flavor and was my favorite. The breaded was okay but not crispy or very flavorful. The service was quick and attentive. I don't know about the rest of the menu, but if you want someone to cook up your own fish this was great.
