"Mr. Dumpling has a full menu of dishes like orange chicken and kung pao shrimp, but apropos of the name, the dumplings are the real story here. The chicken and cabbage and pork and cabbage dumplings are the backbone, with other flavors like chicken, pork with shrimp, beef and celery, lamb and carrot, or vegetable. All dumplings come in 10 to an order and are available steamed or pan-fried. If a venture off the dumpling menu is required, try the steamed lamb in Sichuan sauce, the sweet corn and minced chicken soup, or the spicy cumin noodles." - Matt Lardie

The flavors here absolutely blew me away — the food is incredibly delicious! All the staff are very warm and friendly. I saw their poster saying they were voted the most popular Chinese restaurant in the area in 2025 by Asia Star TV, a major food program. They’re also representing North Carolina Chinese restaurants in a national competition — that’s truly amazing!

So, I treated myself to lunch since I got off of work early. I decided to go to Mr.Dumpling! I have been by so many times and finally decided to go. I got the lunch combo of black pepper chicken (medium spice) and fried rice. It also came with an egg roll and egg drop soup (Your choice. They have more types!) Of course, I had to get dumplings, so I got the pork and cabbage dumplings! The egg drop soup had good flavor and had some sweet corn in it. I always love a good egg drop soup! The black pepper chicken was amazing! Super peppery and full of flavor, and had a great texture. The egg roll was nice and crispy and came with a really good dipping sauce. The dumplings.... They are made fresh and steamed. You can get them pan seared for $1 extra. I just had them steamed. When I say they were so fresh and so tasty, I mean it! The dumpling sauce was so good I made an audible ummm. 😂 Hopefully, no one heard me. The atmosphere could be a bit better, but thay is my only complaint.

B: I got the 3 treasures tofu and it was so delish! It was very fresh and served with delight. I would recommend anyone to try their food! L: fresh food and quick service. The space was clean.

I placed a Grubhub order. Asked for fried rice with the sesame chicken, it’s just brown sticky rice. Sesame chicken is gummy and chicken is tough. The Dan Dan noodles are bland and packaged with the meat and sauce at the bottom. Very difficult to stir and eat and the noodles on top?? They are plain with no flavor. Lo Mein had almost no flavor. Green beans were good. The best part? I asked for added chili oil in the notes because I’m from NJ and this is how we get it there. Never paid for it, you just ask at the counter and they put it in your bag….on my receipt there’s a note that “next time I want chili oil I have to pay.” There won’t be a next time. The food is not even worth it, and especially not with cheap, somewhat rude business practices. Save your money ($100 Grubhub order for crappy food) and go elsewhere.

Ordered takeout for the first time and enjoyed our meal! The mixed dumplings were very good and worth the slight up charge for them to be pan fried. The sesame chicken was also very good and sweet but not overly sweet. The fried rice was tasty! The chicken lo mein was my least favorite dish we ordered but it was still good just not as flavorful compared to other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in the area.

If you're looking for a cozy spot to satisfy your dumpling cravings, Mr. Dumpling is a must-visit! The menu is packed with a great variety of dumplings, all expertly prepared with fresh ingredients. Whether you opt for classic pork and chive or something more adventurous, like their spicy beef dumplings, you're in for a treat. The dumplings are always perfectly steamed or pan-fried to crispy perfection, and the flavors are bold and savory. The service is friendly and attentive, making for a comfortable dining experience. The atmosphere is casual, but the food is top-notch—ideal for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends. Don’t miss out on their dipping sauces, which complement the dumplings beautifully. Overall, Mr. Dumpling delivers a fantastic, flavorful experience that will leave you craving more. Highly recommended!

Google
The food taste great, spicy right on spot. Was told they hired experienced Chinese chiefs from New York. The inside of restaurant is a little bit small but they also has outdoor dining area. Their food comes out fast. The portion of dishes is quite large compared to other local Sichuan restaurants. They use fresh ingredients for dishes and dumplings, you can even see employee making dumplings sometimes. Might be busy in weekends but worth a try. Update for dumping: if you want to know what north China dumplings especially ShanDong dumplings taste like, this is the place you can’t miss. Was expecting flavors from the skin, but they don’t have flavor at all, so the taste of the dumplings is original as the stuffing taste like.

Google
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We have been coming here for years. We love all the food options and the prices are good too. Everything is always delicious and we’ve never been disappointed. They have a perfect mix of more American style and traditional. Something for everyone. The staff are always very amiable. Today we did a special game they have for Lunar New Year and WON OUR WHOLE MEAL FOR FREE! Great experience for sure!!

Kelly C.

Yelp
Would recommend. Tried the braised tofu for takeout. I will def order here again. They had a cute outdoor area as well that I may try out.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Mr Dumpling in Apex has good traditional Taiwanese food. The egg drop soup was great and I love a good scallion pancake. They are my favorite staple to try!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Ordered House lo mein. I wouldn't recommend this dish. The flavor was bland and the noddles were too greasy. I will try another dish next time.

Patty S.

Yelp
I lived in Taiwan for three years and stepping into Mr. Dumpling was a multi-sensory transport through time and space! Everything about this reminded me of living in Taipei. The service was prompt and polite. The food was very good. We had egg drop soup, pork dumplings, chicken fried rice, and a scallion pancake that was fantastic! I have not had a scallion pancake that good since we lived in Taiwan 20 years ago! However, anyone with a shellfish allergy or intolerance may wish to avoid. We ordered the pork dumplings because I do have a shellfish allergy, and I began experiencing some side effects within an hour of eating here... Nothing major but a lot of hives by the next morning. Since the other dumplings on special that day included shrimp, I suspect there was some cross-contamination in the dumpling station. The food was still fantastic -- patrons just need to be aware.

Chris J.

Yelp
We've been a few times and are never disappointed. The food is excellent- and there are many traditional recipes you won't find anywhere else. Definitely get the dumplings! Service was fast- but they can sometimes be very short with you. In our last experience, one of the drinks was forgotten and we had to ask about it. That said, we love the place- and this doesn't deter us from going back.

David S.

Yelp
YOU HAVE TO GO. They play a game at the table against you for free rice. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like it adds just a huge layer of fun. Allows the server to enjoy themselves and you to get so excited to win. You roll two dice and try to get it to total higher than the server. The dumplings were also awesome as the name of the restaurant represents. The place is not sure nice but it's clean. I love going here!

Marcel T.

Yelp
The soup and tea were good, unfortunately it went downhill from there The food was terrible, greasy and with no flavor, practically uneatable I ordered the pepper chicken, it was coated with so much flour that you couldn't even taste the chicken The service was even worse, we ordered dumplings and they totally forgot about it No one never came to the table to see how we were doing The place had the ambience of a gas station food counter The door was open I guess to save on AC, although the temperature was in the 80s First and last time We won't return and don't recommend it.

Sharonda D.

Yelp
Came in right when they opened as I had just got into Cary from Charlotte for work. So perfect ending to a long drive. I ordered shrimp fried rice and an egg roll to take back to my hotel. Place was empty so service was very quick and friendly. The egg roll was my favorite part. Rice was not back just not my favorite. Wish I would of gotten more egg rolls for sure. Will be back to try more.

Lane G.

Yelp
This was one of the worst drunken noodles I've had, they were flavorless and I also requested no broccoli or carrots multiple times. The only pros were the portion size and the employees were very nice.

Brilynn C.

Yelp
There is something different about you Mr Dumpling. You are more expensive then my favorite next door Chinese restaurant. Your to-go wait times are long. Your dumplings are amazing. Really amazing. Service has always been friendly. I would suggest you order and enjoy with chopsticks and the dipping sauce.

Lucy K.

Yelp
I've returned here and am a regular customer now. I feel like their food has been a lot more consistent, and they have more staff helping out which improved the service. So glad that they are doing better because this place is nearby and I'd rather go here than somewhere in Cary/Morrisville area. Few recommendations - dry fried green bean, spicy diced fried chicken, mayo tofu.

Cherie C.

Yelp
I've always thought of Mr. Dumpling as a takeout place and have been relying on Uber Eats for their food. But then, I heard they hired a chef from a popular Sichuan restaurant in NYC, so I decided to try their spicy dishes, and wow, was I impressed! My husband and I used to go to another spot in Raleigh, but the quality went downhill. Finding Mr. Dumpling was a blessing! We ordered the Sichuan Boiled Beef, Mapo Tofu, and Chili Chicken, asking for everything extra spicy. Explosions of flavors and just the right amount of Sichuan peppercorns left us feeling amazed and a little numb! Oh, I almost forgot - we also tried the spicy beef tendon and tripe for an appetizer. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark, and we won't be ordering it again. Service-wise, it was a breeze to order through the QR code, and the server was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. They even have a fun dice game where you can win a free drink and a rewards program on their ordering app - sweet! Just a heads up though, this place can get packed even on a weeknight, so be patient. In summary, our experience at Mr. Dumpling was fantastic. They've won a permanent spot in our restaurant rotation. If you're craving authentic and flavorful Sichuan cuisine, don't miss out on this gem!

Yelp
Do not get the pepper chicken ewwww thats the Chicken I have ever had in my life solky as crap no flavor the worst and it's black

Emily M.

Yelp
I really like this place a lot. The food is reasonably affordable and it taste really great! Definitely my favorite place for Asian food! Also, it's always clean inside and the waitstaff have always been really nice. It's never been that busy inside either. It seems like most orders are to-go orders, so it's always been easy for me to get a table.

Mary T.

Yelp
OhMy....I ordered the chicken corn soup which I regret immensely. Evidently, the are shipping in the water in from the Great Salt Lake in Utah because it was the SALTIEST soup I've ever tasted. The spoon refused to sink there was so much salt. I literally gagged. Worst...absolutely worst soup ever!! The garlic pork was edible but not as good as it had been in the past. The whole experience was quite depressing when you can still remember Lee Garden buffet. This is the 3rd strike and I won't be back.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Wanted to come to this place because their menu is different from other places around the area. However, I didn't know that their menu has slightly changed due to different ownerships. So, if you see something in the pictures and want it badly, ask the servers if they still offer this item. There were a couple of items that I wanted to try because they look good but alas, it's not on the current menu. Mr Dumpling stay true to their name, they make their own dumplings and you can watch them. Love watching as they add different colours to this dish. There's pink, green, yellow, and white. They have different deals based on the day but you can always try an assortment. The taste and menu are more like a Taiwanese rather than a typical Chinese food. That means you will see garlic stems, pork belly slices, bamboo, etc in the ingredients. So if you are familiar with this type of cuisine, it's an absolute must try.

Pablo G.

Yelp
Oh God! A whole lotta dough and no taste. Something's gotta change dramatically for me to return. Compared to dumplings and dim sum that were very fresh, juicy and homemade. Mr Dumpling serves frozen tortellini from a box... ?

Charles T.

Yelp
We love this place. Food is more tasty and flavorful than your standard Chinese takeout style place people tend to have as a go to in their area. Try this place and you may find those others won't be good enough any more. Seems to be family run with care for the product and service. We have taken out and dined in, both good experiences. Love the garlic spicy sauce, very smoky flavor to it.

Peter K.

Yelp
Went with my girlfriend to grab takeout, the service was prompt and friendly, the food was hot and delicious, and while we opted for takeout it was clearly a great place to sit and enjoy a meal. I had the beef and onions with white rice which was delicious. In my opinion the service was the standout of my visit all the staff were very friendly and helpful when asked questions. While the price is a little high for takeout it definitely matches the amount of food and the quality of food and service. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for either sit down or takeout.

Michelle T.

Yelp
Food was good. We were there for the dumplings. They were good. Also ordered other dishes. All very good. Food came fast with the online ordering right at the table. Definitely will go back to try other dishes.

Vraj P.

Yelp
One of the first Asian restaurants I've been in Apex. Overall, loved the food. As the vegetarian, I enjoyed how they had the veggie dumplings. They only make them on Thursday's but luckily they had leftovers for Friday. The Mapo tofu was great and definitely has a peppery kick to it. The eggplant basil comes out hot so make sure to let it cook lol down. The atmosphere and staff were great and very friendly as well. Overall, will def be back to try some of their other options!

Marissa M.

Yelp
I finally visited today to fulfill our Chinese cuisine craving. My daughter loves Chinese food and since moving from Queens Chinese food has been disappointing. I read all the yelp reviews and reached out to Kong my fellow triangle yelper and decided to visit for lunch today. Service was great however you can only order Take Out currently. The dining room is very small unfortunately. We found a beautiful patio out back to dine on. Our food was brought out to us along with silverware, chopsticks and plates. We ordered chicken and cabbage pan fried dumplings, Shrimp Fried Rice and Egg Rolls. The menu here is not your typical Chinese American menu with fried everything. It's Szechuan style. Everything was really good and flavorful. We really enjoyed it all. My daughter is very picky about her food and she loved the dumplings and shrimp fried rice. Very good quality. I do wish the dumplings had more filling for the price. I would definitely visit again to try the pork and leek and rainbow colored dumplings.

Samantha L.

Yelp
My partner and I love this place as our go-to for chinese takeout! Their dumplings are okay, but my favorite are the chili wontons hands down. This place also has the best hot and sour soup IMHO within the local area. It just needs a little more vinegar for me. The staff is kind over the phone and the place is well cleaned. We haven't had the chance to dine in yet, but the interior is nice!

Jairo F.

Yelp
Iv been to Asian bistro in wake forest and the dumplings they have there are not just food there pieces of art. The chef walked to the front to talk to the sushi chef at the bar and you could see the flour on his apron from making the dough. I asked for pan seared dumplings but this man went the extra mile and made them with a skirt , philippine style. They were filled with meat and were so thin you could actually see it. He was a true master of his art. No one I know can roll out the dough so thin not me you or anyone at MR dumplings I ordered the leak and pork because I saw they were being made fresh. When I bit into them 2/3 was flour and 1 was filling . Worst place ever and they should all be ashamed of what they are doing there.

Chubby C.

Yelp
The service was not the greatest the food was okay. It wasn't bad price. I do I just want them to pick up on the service. And realize that people from other races would love to come. Try their fool and don't be surprised when you do see us.

Luke A.

Yelp
My son loves the Shrimp Lo Mein so much that we get it for take-out every week. I like the Singapore Noodles and Stir-fried Lamb Cumin a lot (the latter is very hot, fyi). And of course the dumplings are excellent.

Emily T.

Yelp
Good dumpling place. I only been during covid but they were really great with takeout orders. Want to try again.

Scott T.

Yelp
Very good food with quality ingredients. Best Chinese we've found in the area in many years.

mira r.

Yelp
overall extremely dissatisfied with my experience and most likely will never return. i had heard negative things about this place but decided to see for myself instead and it definitely confirmed the rumors. assorted dumplings- this is where they really lost me. all of the dumplings tasted exactly the same. the dumpling dough is also wayyy to thick. but worst of all, multiple dumplings came completely uncooked with raw red meat inside EVEN THE GREEN/VEGGIE DUMPLING? this could have been a serious issue! how does this happen? my server was very sweet and took the item off the bill so i appreciate her for that a lot, its not her fault. but this shouldnt be taken lightly by the kitchen. how hard is it to make a dumpling correctly when its literally the name of the restaurant? red chili oil wonton- definitely my favorite dish from my order. it was nice, good texture, chili oil was good but could have been spicier, no complaints but not worth returning for 6/10 salt and pepper chicken- good enough, could have had more mushrooms, weird spongey texture, would have preferred it to be crunchy. normal overall 5/10 scallion pancakes- great texture, very nice and flakey! but no flavor 6/10 sweet tea and lemonade- verrrry strange taste for both. i dont know what was wrong with it but nobody in my party drank their drinks because they tasted like something was wrong with them. i dont know if the water was bad or the drinks were old, i have no clue. but it was a very off putting start to the meal. 2/10 service was good, the staff was nice friendly and helpful when we encountered an issue. i hate to leave a bad review that may affect them because its not the servers or the front of houses fault. but i have to leave an honest review. im hoping the restaurant will make the necessary changes to redeem itself from the negative experiences i had and what ive heard from many people regarding the quality of the food.

Ramesh S.

Yelp
Dumpling skin wasn't thin as I expected but the place is clean, inviting and the noodles seared in chilli was awesome. It just had few pieces of bokchoy and would have preferred some tou hay or tofu but it was satisfying. The lunch order pepper chicken was prepared with the fried chicken pieces and the rice was a little undercooked.

Kristi H.

Yelp
One star is being too kind. The service was absolutely terrible-practically non existent. The place barely had anyone inside but we were rushed to order immediately and never given the choice of a drink other than the 1 water we were given the whole time there. We got there at 7:20 and were so confused by the rushed vibe the waiter gave off. Three different groups came in after us, and were checked on more times and checked out before us. The food was ok. The place has really gone downhill vs when it first opened up and had great service and the restaurant looked really nice inside. Now, it looks cheap and the staff seem to not care at all but to close up as soon as possible. To top it off we had to ask for our check as we saw how we kept getting passed to the side. The whole time never asked how our food was or even an offer of a refill of the ine water...and it was slow inside, not busy where I would be more understanding. Then to end this offal experience, we ask to pay....they put it off to clean instead...eventually we have to walk our cards up to the front so it would be done already as we'd been waiting and waiting... they proceed to say the cc machine was down although we saw everyone before us pay with card no problem. We had to wait longer for the server to be on phone with he said the "cc company"....yet when my friend attempting to run her card, it worked perfectly fine. So so SO sketchy! What are you guys doing here? Seriously? The whole experience was weird, uncomfortable and beyond disappointing. Stafff was offal. I do not and will never recommend this place. Just offal

Yvonne J.

Yelp
I can't believe it took me so long to eat here! They were pretty packed at lunch time, business seems steady here! The menu is diverse and offers both standard "American" takeout Chinese dishes in addition to more authentic dishes. Of course I had to try the dumplings! I've had the pork/cabbage dumplings both steamed and pan fried as well as the pork/leek dumplings which are a fun green color. Both of the pork dumplings are so delicious and packed with flavor. You will love them! The dipping sauce is standard but done well. Regarding steam vs pan fried, I think it's going to be personal preference because I enjoyed both preparation methods. I loved their beef chow foon. Would order again in a heartbeat. The beef noodle soup in brown sauce was good but didn't pack quite the punch I was hoping for. The broth could be a little more flavorful. All that said I would reorder it. I am happy to say I've found a new go to Chinese spot!

Julia T.

Yelp
The menu has pictures! I was happy to see this since most menus cram a wall of text and have zero visual representation of what the dish looks like in real. This detail definitely made ordering a lot easier. I liked the crispy pan fried beef pancakes. The dough was layered and flavored (not just plain flour), and the filling was juicy but not too saucy. I wish they packed more meat since there was only a thin layer of meat. The dumplings wrappers are different colors to denote the filling - we got an assorted plate. These had a lot of filling and a thick chewy dough. They were average and a bit pricey ($13 for 10 dumplings). The noodles I would not order again, the soup had a thick layer of oil and was very numbing, presumably from Szechuan peppercorn. I usually love spice, especially numbing spice (麻辣, but this was too much. The total came out to $40+ for 2 people, and I felt like it just wasn't worth the price tag.

Matthew K.

Yelp
So many unique offerings. When the word savory was coined, it was someone having dumplings at Mr. Dumpling.

Peter G.

Yelp
We love Mr. Dumpling. And you know they are the real deal when both native Chinese and non-Asian customers enjoy many of their dishes. My wife, from Qindao, and I, a Jew from the Bronx, always stuff ourselves on the superb dumplings, beef, pork, vegetable, fish -- and we also especially enjoy the fried string beans. My wife is fond of the hot and spicy Sichuan Fragrant Crispy Fish dish -- which looks like it could feed a family of four -- as well as the Beef Noodle in Szechuan sauce. My favorites are Beef Chow Fun and Orange chicken or beef (I like both). The restaurant is in a corner of the mall of Apex Peakway and has a beautiful outdoor court surrounded by trees. This is absolutely one of our favorites.

Josha N.

Yelp
We regularly enjoy take home dumplings. Recently enjoyed lunch at Mr Dumpling. Their lunch specials inclued an egg role and soup. We always share plates. Beef with Broccoli was tender and delicious ... General Tso was crisp and tasty.

Jackie B.

Yelp
I had the most terrible take out from Mr Dumpling. The food had no flavor and was undercooked. Dumplings were supposed to be pan fried, but looked as if they were flash cooked and thrown in the box. I ended up throwing the food away after spending high dollar on the delivery fees and tips. So disappointing.

Paula B.

Yelp
I was really disappointed in this place. I've been looking for great dumplings in the area. So we went and ordered 2 assorted dumpling plates. We asked for one steamed and one fried. The filling was so bland and lacking in taste. I had to pull the doughy outsides off just to get to the filling part to allow it to soak up some of the soy sauce to get flavoring. I would not eat here again. On the upside my son's orange chicken was pretty good.

Stephanie J.

Yelp
I'm torn between a 2 and 3 star review for this spot. We placed our order online and took it over to Bottle Rev Apex. We split the cream cheese wontons and lamb & carrot dumplings. For our main courses it was the orange chicken with fried rice for my husband and the honey chicken with white rice for me. We picked our order up when they said it would be ready. There was no dipping sauce for the cream cheese wontons and I threw away the honey chicken because it was a mushy mess. I would come back here for the dumplings but that would probably be it unless we were dining in.

Donny C.

Yelp
Fish fillet with pickled Napa cabbage and chili is a stand out dish here. Not many restaurants are able to produce consistency like this one. I highly recommend it!

Robin C.

Yelp
So disappointing. We had Pad Tai and chicken and broccoli. The noodles were so over cooked, just a pile of mush....zero flavor. The broccoli was over cooked as well. The chicken had some kind of coating on it...slimy. We tried them a couple years ago and were not happy. We thought we'd try again....we'll never be back.

Karmilla C.

Yelp
Found an amazing Place!!!!! I've heard that the restaurant read only change new owner and I decided to give it a try, so I randomly ordered few dishes from the menu. Highly recommend :Assorted Dumplings , general chicken, Steamed sliced beef in Szechuan sauce, chili fried diced chicken(one of my favor), spicy hot seared noodle is amazing!!!! Overall, food has great quality, ingredients were fresh, food also came very fast, service was pleasant, would defiantly come back again!! Highly recommended:)

Qiongqiong M.

Yelp
First time here, but this place has been on my list for awhile. So glad I finally had the opportunity to visit. We ordered a dish of veggie dumplings, mapo toufu, and chinese eggplant andpancake. My favorite was the dumplings. The dumplings and the pancakes were really good especially if you eat it with chili oil. I love how they serve fresh made dumplings, and I love the crispy part since they pan fried them. Mapo toufu was good too not too spicy for me tho! I didn't taste minced pork in it, so vegetarians feel free to get that one! Service was good but I can tell they are short staffed!

Steven And Harold M.

Yelp
I have seen some mixed reviews so was a bit hesitant to dine here. The ambiance is low key and basic. However the food is amazing. Their fish dishes pop with flavor and none of them disappoint. House specials are a bit more pricey but the amount of food is quite generous and makes for 3 meals so it ends up being cheap. Their dumplings are good but their meals steal the show. The wait staff are friendly and attentive

Outtadodge J.

Yelp
Not good! Ordered on the phone and picked up. 15 minute drive. Gor home and wrong item in bag. Tried calling and no answer. Paid and did not get what we ordered.... No thanks!

Tahirah M.

Yelp
It's a small sit down restaurant but the food is good. The dumplings are good hence the name. This is not your typical Chinese restaurant so go in with an open mind. They have wonton soup but it's different from Chinese fast food like you would get from your corner Chinese restaurant. My favorite is the the spicy wontons in chili sauce.

Melissa Z.

Yelp
Soooooo impressed with this place!! My first time ordering from here and I'm mad I never found it in all my years of being here. Will definitely be coming often. It's closed for dine-in right now so I ordered chicken pad Thai, veggie dumplings, and chicken & cabbage dumplings to go. The food was ready right on time and it was steaming hot. The waiters inside were very nice too. The food is cheap and they give you big portions (see the pad thai.) The food was super delicious, 10/10. I don't have much to say except that everything was very flavorful and satisfying. A lot of dumpling places I've been to aren't as savory. Though both dumplings were great, the veggie dumpling was surprisingly better than the chicken so I'm excited to try the rest of the menu.

Sean M.

Yelp
Decent dumplings and mixed reviews for other dishes. I come to NC for work every few months and decided to try to Mr. Dumpling after seeing it on Yelp a few times. At first look, HUGE MENU. Seemed like a 100+ dishes. I got the assorted dumplings as a main and the Chicken in Scallion sauce as an appetizer. First, I would have preferred a smaller serving of dumplings, but the only option on the menu is the 10 piece that is the size of a whole meal if you don't have anyone to share it with. But, all flavors served were good. Good flavor, packed slightly looser than I expected, and a bit too much shell to filling ratio (in my book). The chicken in Scallion sauce was odd for me, but I was new to the dish. I didn't think it had much flavor, and they didn't have anything to really add flavor wise, although the server did offer Chile oil. I also grabbed a to-go "Chile fried chicken" for my co-worker who said it was great. Mixed reviews on food, but good service and may be better with a larger group and just sampling dumplings.

Yelp
5 STARS -- hands down the BEST and most authentic Chinese food in the triangle. It's reminds me of having legit Chinese food from San Francisco, New York City, and Los Angelas. I stopped in from a late lunch and was served right away. The customer service was fantastic. The space was a good size, I'm pretty sure that it gets filled during lunch and dinner hours. I decided to go with the following: Egg Drop Soup: The most unique egg drop that I've ever tasted! It was delicious! It had corn in it which gave it a nice sweet kick. I knew that if this was good, I would be in for something special. Shrimp Fried Rice: One the best I've had in the Triangle! The first bite had a nice piece of egg and you can't actually taste the egg! The amount of shrimp was very generous as well. The taste of the wok was fantastic with a nice char to it. Blew my mind. Pork/Cabbage Dumplings: Wow! No wonder this place is called "Mr. Dumplings". It sure lived up to its name! The wrap was like no other. It was fluffy and just enough support to hold the stuffing. Not your typical wrapper! The concoction of the pork mixed with cabbage was the perfect texture. It was not salty or sweet. It was exactly how a dumpling should taste. Mind blowing! Before leaving, I walked over to thank the woman who made the dumplings to reassure her that they have something special going on. I live 30-minutes away but will make the drive here for my Chinese food now. It was that good!

Yelp
When we arrived there was a sign at the door saying that they only do take out because of staffing issues. So we were kinda bummed and thought about going somewhere else but I was way to excited because I love love love dumplings, so I was really excited to try this place. The cashier told us that we can eat inside the restaurant but there will be no waiter and we were ok with that because we live 20 min away and did not wanted to eat cold dumplings. We ordered the pork and leek dumplings and the pork and cabbage. We also ordered their sesame chicken and hot and sour soup. Our favorite by far were the pork and cabbage dumplings. The leek and dumplings were green and I was kinda irritated by the wrapper color but they were quite good. Just not what you would expect a dumpling to taste like. The dipping sauce that comes with the dumplings was amazing too! The hot and sour soup was very peppery. It tasted like Simone put way too much pepper in it. I only had a couple spoons of the soup because the pepper taste was very overwhelming. The sesame chicken tasted like orange chicken so I am not sure if I got the right order. But it was quite tasty so I was ok with that. We will definitely be back and we already decided on what to order next.
