Mr Fries Man

It is a lot of food. I wasn't ready. I didn't think fries with special toppings and sauces could fill you up. I even got the Jr. size. I have enough leftovers for a full meal. I got the steak and shrimp honey garlic fries. Shrimp was salty, and I could tell steak is a less expensive cut of meat. The chef was thorough at tenderizing it, but I believe Wagyu, Kobe, Rib eye, and Porterhouse would work better. My personal preference. They were having a 1 dollar wing special so I grabbed a 10 piece of parmesean garlic lemon pepper. I didnt really taste lemon pepper or the garlic. Chicken wings were perfectly cooked. I will try more flavors. Sauces like the barbeque and Jalapeño ranch are exceptional. My total was close to 80 and I think that was too high but my son also got Jr fries and the 10 dollar 10 piece so maybe they are just high prices. I am going back to try other flavors.

My experience was poor at your establishment. I encountered a series of issues that significantly impacted my visit. Firstly, the service was extremely slow, and I had to wait an unreasonably long time for my food. When I inquired about the status of my order, the cashier responded to my question with noticeable attitude, despite the fact that I had remained polite throughout the interaction. This was very disappointing. Furthermore, when my food was ready, the cashier did not offer me any sauces. I couldn’t help but notice that the customer before me was asked if they wanted any additional sauces at no extra charge. However, when I requested sauces, I was charged for them, and the cashier then shared a smirk with a co-worker, seemingly taking pride in this charge. This felt unprofessional and unfair. Additionally, I had ordered my wings extra wet, but it was clear that they were not prepared as requested. It’s clear that the cashiers need better training on providing basic customer service, as well as how to treat all customers fairly and respectfully.

Ordered the prawn and chicken sweet chilli sauce and it was average. The sauce was sticky and not what I was expecting everything was dry. Was not worth the money. The Bbq Bacon chicken was better but again for the price not worth it. Nearly $20 per box for loaded fries. We took them home and probably waited 20 mins from pick up to eat them, maybe they’d have been better if we ate them right away as the fries were a bit soggy, but still not value for money. Was okay but was hoping for more.

Great food, great people! I had the shrimp & crab fries and my friend had the garlic & shrimp fries! Delicious! Overall a 10/10! Looking forward to trying the whole menu! That bbq and jalapeño sauce is tasty!!

Very delicious. I like the way they have these different toppings for these fries. So creative. We had the surf and turf and the lobster and shrimp. Both were equally delicious. The service was good as our cashier explained the menu to us today because it was our first time. The atmosphere was a typical small restaurant feel but welcoming. Definitely recommend if you are close to one. Pretty cool that they are expanding across America.

A coworker told me about this spot, and I'm forever grateful. I'm not even the biggest fan of fries, but MAN these guys know what they're doing! So far I've only had the Lobster fries and Lemon Garlic Shrimp fries, but I have a strong feeling that everything is great. Fast service, great food, and good costumer service. No complaints from me. Just go! PS. Everything comes with cheese. Just a heads up for those like me that rather do without it. Enjoy! 👌🏽

I ordered the junior size of the Buffalo Ranch Chicken fries and the Chili Cheese fries, so I could try both. The fries were delicious. It was filling and I still have some left over for another meal. I would definitely order again.

First time trying Mr. Fries Man, ordered the LEMON GARLIC CRAB & SHRIMP and HONEY GARLIC SHRIMP STEAK fries with smack sauce. DELICIOUS! A little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it! It comes with a lot of food! I ate it for lunch and dinner! Great customer service as well. With it being my first time, I had questions about the menu options and when I called, the lady who answered was extremely nice and helpful! Will definitely be returning! 10/10 recommended!

This spot is really more of a 3.7. The food was good, and there was A LOT of it. Almost too much. I ordered two fries back in 2022 for $40, which, for Gardena, felt like a bit much. Sure, the portions justified the price, but honestly, I should've just ordered one and shared it with someone. Instead, I went for two, thinking I could handle it. Spoiler: I couldn't. If you're in the mood to indulge and don't mind the inevitable acid reflux, this is your place. If you want to share a massive portion with a friend, this is also your place. And if you want to be wowed by a gigantic pile of fries topped with all sorts of goodness, definitely come here. Just know what you're getting into!

Okay, so... I've been trying to try Mr. Fries for a while now. I finally get there, and OMGEEEE!!! So good, so delicious were those darn fries!! They don't call him Mr. Fries for nothing. I wish I had requested for the wings to be cooked extra crispy, but I totally forgot because my main objective was to have fries. The wings were good, but the fries were amaaaaazing!!! Customer service was awesome as well. It is a small place, and yes, you could eat inside if you can't wait to dig in. If you haven't given them a try, definitely do!

Helllloooooooooo! Yall know I had to pull up to an OG spot in the South Bay for some goooood eats! From the fries to the wings, they did not miss! The different sauces really tie everything together; they got the perfect seasonings and the textures, nice crunch! What I like is that you can customize your order with so many different combo possibilities for add ons, it's definitely hitting every craving. They also got special deals so make sure to check their page! Overall, it was easy to get to, lots of parking, inviting interior, nice customer service, and of course great food, I give em 5/5 Tip: They have limited barstool seating, plan accordingly. Happy eats, loves! ^_^

Food was outstanding. Went twice that week and tried the honey garlic with steak (added fried chicken), the seafood combo (crab & shrimp), buffalo chicken, & their chili cheese fries with steak. Each selection was flavorful & the portions were more than generous. Loved the convenience & promptness in the preparation of my order. Staff was helpful & informative, as it was our first time at Mr Fries Man. What I found most satisfying about the experience (aside from the food itself being ridiculously delicious) was the customer care exhibited by the owner, Craig. After placing our order, Craig called to see if we were in the area or if we were going to pickup our food at the provided time through the online ordering service. I let him know we were parked up & waiting, he told me I could come in ahead of my scheduled pickup time, as he was personally preparing the order. Craig was personable & seemed genuinely appreciative of my business, which I can appreciate. After leaving with my order, I decided to enjoy it in the car. Craig brought over 2 Mr Fries Man T-shirts & thanked me again for the business (his staff let him know that was our second visit that week). Do yourself a favor & head on down to Mr Fries Man, you won't regret it. Thank you again, Craig!!

Mr. Fries Man serves up the best fries and wings ever! I came here with my birthday $5 off coupon, and it was amazing as always. I got the Monday special, which is perfect for two and came with 10 wings and chili cheese fries. Their homemade grape and red Kool-Aid were made perfectly. The staff is super nice and friendly, and the store is clean and welcoming. I can't wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience at Mr. Fries today! We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered, and the customer service was excellent. Although I can't remember the gentleman's name who helped us at 11:13am, he was incredibly helpful and welcoming, answering all our questions. I ordered the Jr Lemon Garlic Crab & Shrimp with the Mixed Kool Aid, and my boyfriend had the Jr Buffalo Ranch Chicken. Both meals were absolutely delicious, and the Kool Aid was a perfect complement. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back to this location again!

Mr. Fries Man should be a hood classic! They also have one of the coolest owners you'd ever wanna meet. With less than 10 years in the business this place has established itself as one of the staples in the Gardena area, but they also have other locations as well. Parking is super easy and the restaurant is super clean and nice with the theme of black and yellow. We got their breakfast fries (5/5) the sauce on this really pulls the flavors together. Their "honey garlic steak and shrimp" fries (5/5) Didn't even know they had wings so we had to get some of those. We got the "honey lemon Cajun" fries (4/5) And their "mambo lemon pepper" fries (5/5) now we did add crab on these for an extra charge, you guys can decide if it's worth it or not lol Overall Mr. Fries Man gets a 5/5 star from me. Highly recommend.

Deluxe Fries with great loaded toppings 2.5/5 Food: I got the BBQ Bacon Ranch Chicken since it looked amazing in the photo. The food was definitely good, bacon, fried chicken, fries, all with ranch and BBQ sauce. Maybe I'm not too big on loaded fries, but I haven't found myself coming back too often. If you love loaded fries with fried chicken and bacon, you should give it a try! Service: The food came our quickly! I asked the cashier a couple questions about the menu, and she was helpful in answering every one of them. Ambiance: The place was still renovating when I went, so there were no seats inside or outside at the time.

Plenty of parking on a Saturday night. Super teeny tiny shop with only counter seating and a very interesting aroma (rich fried food with a hint of slightly skunky residual smoke from fellow customers' preparation for eating, zero hate though I know they must have loved their fries). The dude at the front counter was patient enough, which was appreciated. The price of the fries before you see them seems a little steep, but when they hand you the box you're just like "Oh. That makes sense." It's heavy!!! My husband and I split a large Chicken Bacon Parmesan fries and we almost couldn't finish it. It was a massive, salty, and greasy (see: fries topped with bacon, so to be expected) pile of rich deliciousness. The lemon-garlic sauce had a pretty dominant flavor. My husband put some buffalo sauce on it and the lemon + salt + vinegar combo was a little pucker-y for me. Would come back to try their other offerings, but might need to be hungrier next time (if you know what I mean).

Heard that this place had the best fries in LA, so I decided to give it a try. There are multiple locations, but this one is the OG. I got the Lemon Garlic Crab & Shrimp fries. It costed $30, which is very pricey for the amount received. There was not a lot of crab nor shrimp. What you can see in my picture is all there was. A few bites in and there was no more blue crab. Taste wise, the ingredients did not blend together well. There was way too much salt and too much lemon. The sauce is supposed to be lemon garlic, but the garlic was overwhelmed by the lemon. If you eat this, you will definitely need some water or a beverage on the side to help wash down all the saltiness. I unfortunately will not be coming back.

Late review but I came here with a friend last month and had an amazing time. The owner and staff was super super friendly and even brought out different foods/sauces he was working on to try. The portions are generous and the food is DELICIOUS. Absolutely worth checking out.

I had the mamba with the crispy chicken cheese, jalapeño ranch, and his Cajun honey lemon wings on his Wednesday special so so good the fries were nice and delicious I love the mamba sauce. The wings still were nice and crispy even though they were nice and saucy. The restaurant has a small area with high chairs for seating. And the owner Craig was such a great energy and you could tell how proud he is of his food, and a reflects on the taste.

As my kids put it.. 'Cool ppl' .. service was great... did not have a chance to try it when Mr. Fries was in SA... but drove here because the teenagers wanted to try it. :) It is definitely a small place.. we r a party of 5... but no problem.. we kill them (ate) in the parking lot and the flavor was .... Boom... a lot of flavor ... big portions ... :) definitely coming again:) Not only did we get good service when we ordered... but Mr. Fries him self, he saw that we were eating outside and came over and asked if we needed anything else.... Good food and great Service:)

Solid 4! Every bite is just flavorful. Tbh , I would have to crave it to go back again.

Gave 2 because the customer service was not pleasant. It's a small spot with 4 seats to sit at. We ordered the food and the cashier Dorothy who helped us had horrible customer service. Her body was turned to the side. No smile whatsoever. No type of customer service etiquette. The food was good but with this kind of customer service we won't be back to this location. When hiring people to work for a business you need to ensure that the least minimal requirement is to ensure they give a service with a smile. That and the great food is what keeps people coming back

I placed my order over the phone. When it was time to pick up my order, I was greeted right away when I walked in. The place was a little dark and empty. This was my first time trying out Mr. Fries Man, and I was excited to see what some people have been raving about. Unfortunately, I was disappointed! I ordered the fries topped with crispy chicken bites, parmesan cheese, and the regular chili cheese fries. There was so much grease on both orders. The fries tasted like they had been sitting all day, and when my order came in, they dropped them in grease to reheat them. The only thing edible was the chicken bites with parmesan was nicely cooked and flavorful. Waste of money for my first time trying them out. I don't have a picture because I immediately trashed them. Hopefully, anyone else's experience has been different or will be different.

Truly disappointed in the food. I spent about $95 for three orders and was upset with the poor quality of the food. The crab and shrimp fries were dry, bland, and lacked the love they once had in the food. I felt the same about the shrimp and steak. I haven't been here in over a year, but it is clear the quality for the price doesn't exist.

I called to place an order they said you have to order online or in person. I get there the parking lot is a little confusing so be careful when pulling in and upon leaving. I place my order they say it will take 25minutes to get it ready. There is somewhere to sit and wait for your order, but this is more of a get your food and go type of place. My family and I have tried this place before and thought it was just ok, but after seein LATRY GUY try this place we decided to give it another try. The food just tastes like it's missing something but maybe I am being biased because I absolutely love fries and make my own loaded fries at home. The fries were all soft and there wasn't any cheese pull on the crab and shrimps fries. There was plenty of shrimp and crab on my fries and there was enough chicken and bacon on the other fries I got, but it just needs another little umph to take it to the next level. I would say this is just a try it once type of place and then you're good. I think it's over hyped and over priced. We got 4 orders total and spent $104, that is ridiculous and then to not be completely satisfied was kind of a let down!

Finally tried mr fries man today. The service was quick and the ambiance was laid back. It's a tiny little spot. Hubby ordered the Honey Garlic Shrimp and Steak and I had the Lemon Garlic Crab and Shrimp. The food was good but in mho overrated. Hubbys plate was good. Mine was flavorful but a bit too salty for my liking. The buttery flavor on top of the garlic seasoning was overpowering so I couldn't handle more than 2 bites before having to cut it with my soda. I could definitely see this being somebody else's cup of tea but for me was a tad too strong.

Came here while back to try some if the specialty fries, maaaaan Got the Lemon Garlic snow Crab & Shrimp. Just up in your face flavor, got a little too much mayo on mine but it was Def going back to try something else

This spot deserves more hype! I have not been to another place where they specialize in fries and load them up. You get what you ask for. These fries are so flavorful, savory, well-presented, and put together. A few flavors I have tried were the BBQ Bacon Ranch Grilled Chicken and the Bacon Parmesan Fried Chicken. Honey Garlic shrimp is my favorite. Everything is always fresh and made to order. Great customer service, and loved seeing the owner in their working. Im a fry girl, this restaurant is heaven on earth for me!

Mr Fries Man isn't the kind of place where you would regularly want to eat, at least I wouldn't, but as a change of pace, it's a great choice. They sell just one item and it isn't French Fries - they sell 'loaded' fries, with a variety of toppings/options. The Chili Cheese fries is a classic. French Fries bathed in chicken chili sauce and cheddar cheese. I missed having onions on top, but otherwise it was good. There's just one size for all the fries, which is on the large side, and I felt no need to have anything else for dinner after eating this order. Another option I tried was the BBQ Bacon Ranch Chicken. You can select either fried or grilled chicken with your fries. In addition to the BBQ sauce, it has ranch sauce, lots of bacon, and cheddar cheese. A little sweet for my taste, and a little 'busy', but good. The different options range in price from $9 to $25. The most expensive option is the Lemon Garlic Crab & Shrimp. The added seafood is the ingredient that pushes the price upward. It's good, but honestly, I think I like their Chili Cheese fries better, which go for just $9. There is no indoor seating, takeout only

The fries are great. Menu is large and so are the portions. The service is quick even with a crowd. I highly recommend

I love this location! It's cute, small, and quick service. The food is delicious! It's definitely made with quality ingredients and ever since I've gone I've been telling all my friends about it! Just fyi...ordering extra meat will never be worth it! $16 for extra crab?! And it was probably only a pinch more. Chicken, steak, and shrimp ranged from $6-$10 extra so not as bad but the amount given doesn't equate the price. Try to make the happy hour which is only available when you order inside!

Food: I believe this place should be tried at least once for the pure indulgence of this food, but in terms of delivery of the food missed the mark for me. It was super underwhelming. Service/Ambiance: Simple and straight to the point. More of a get your food and eat at home, but there are seats inside.

I made a point to visit here when I was on vacation and in the area, and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the customer service was on point. The owner was on hand and he was very friendly. He gave us insight into his experience and how he started cooking out of his back yard and his passion for food. I cannot recommend this business enough.

I love the food here been coming since they opened but the girl with the Samoan tattoo on her neck was very rude and disrespectful I told what I wanted then she stated "oh well that's what you said" when I asked for chicken and she put I wanted shrimp then as I'm looking at the menu shes just standing their not even offering the specials and making me feel like she has something else better to do.

I came here, because I was visiting my family. Long story short I'm placing an order an I wanted extra crab and cheese on my fries. I noticed for extra crab, it was an extra charge of $15 so I asked how much crab was going to be added. The cashier asked the cook to show me that amount, and the cook's response verbatim was" it's not that serious" so I simply canceled my order and left. I wouldn't trust anyone with an attitude like that to cook my food. If I'm spending 60 plus on a meal an I can't ask questions I'll just go somewhere else.

Came here to grab some food with some friends. The food was great, the customer service on the other hand was a miss.. We ordered our food, but the third person in our party was ready to order, but the cashier was too busy occupied playing around with her cell phone. Never looked up, nor acknowledged our friend to take his order. So once we got the rest of our food, he decided it wasn't worth the time of day anymore since we all already received our food before they finally noticed that he was waiting to order. He probably would've ordered, but since this store doesn't have a dine in option, he opted to leave with us and just grab some food elsewhere. Other than that, the shrimp and steak fries was delicious. Just again, the customer service is where this rating fell flat.

I had sushi in Torrance a few month ago and thought I would still be hungry (lol), so I bookedmarked this place. But, I was very full and ended up skipping, but wanted to try this place at some point in time. On a Friday early evening, I decided to trek over here. I know there are several locations, but the one closest to me had terrible reviews, so I decided to make the extra drive to come here. Parking was a breeze and there were hardly anybody in there. They do have COVID protocols, like 1 party at the store at a time and no seating. However, I did go pre the 6/15 opening of Los Angeles County, so this might have changed. I had gone with the crab and shrimp fries in mind, but they didn't have crab that day. I was sooo sad!! The employee told me that they did have crawfish, I had the same fries but with crawfish instead. I also ordered a steak fries (with lemon garlic sauce) and buffalo chicken fries. It did take a little while the get my order (about 15 minutes) and then I raced back home to eat it. The crawfish and shrimp fries was delicious!! I think that the crab would have been better, but this was a good alternative. The other ones I ordered I did not enjoy as much. I thought that the steak was a little too tough and the buffalo chicken was just average (nothing special). My favorite sauce was definitely the lemon garlic sauce. These are huge portions, so I definitely had leftovers. I would definitely recommend getting extra sauce to have with the leftovers. I am definitely going to come back here again. Next time, I hope they have crab!

Went back and tried an entirely knew "Mr Fries man" entree and was AGAIN mesmerized with flavor and zest. The Honey garlic steak and shrimp was very tasty and sweet. I'm a fan!!!

It's salty as hell and it's like chunky seafood sauce on fries. I was disappointed, I expected a crab leg on the side or something but scavenger blue crabs is the order of the day.

This place is ridiculously slow it takes over 90 minutes to get my order and it's minutes from my house The fries are good but the service is slow and this is the second time I won't ever order from him again

We were SO excited to try " Mr. Fries Man" and drove all the way to this spot from Naples Island to this location because a closer location apparently closed down. Man were we dissatisfied and disappointed. First off, ROBERT L who mentioned he was the " brother in law of the owner" the guy that took our order SUPER RUDE, not welcoming, made us feel rushed. We walked in and place was so hot and smelled really bad. We ordered the Buffalo chicken fries portion was okay but food was ready in literally 3 min. For fried chicken and fries? It just tells me food has been sitting there and they just refried it for 1 min and served it. We were NOT Wrong! Fries were hard and chicken was hard to bite like when you leave fried chicken outside for hours and put it in the microwave. It sucks that for it to be our first time we came to this location. WE DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! Go somewhere else. TO THE OWNER MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION TO WHO YOU HAVE WORKING HERE. It's YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER. YOU GET NEW CUSTOMERS EXCITED COMING TO YOUR RESTAURANT AND LEAVING DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE OF EMPLOYEES YOU PAY TO PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE and ARE DOING THE OPPOSITE! NEVER coming here again. Horrible experience!

Really tasty, wow. The combination of flavors is perfect in that sense. The steak was a wee bit tough, but tasty. The shrimp was too seafood or fishy smelling for me. But my kids helped me eat it. There was still some leftover which I discarded because the sauces seeped into the fries quickly. It is extremely rich and salty. A Junior size (smaller container) will be enough for two adults that don't want to go into complete hypertensive crisis. I checked my blood pressure when I got home haha I'm not kidding. I wouldn't eat this regularly just as I wouldn't eat a Big Mac regularly. Maybe twice a year as a treat. Yeah... Middle Aged like me and older be careful. The staff was courteous and helped me pick out a combo. They were very sweet. I tried it and I probably won't do it again only because I don't think my heart can take it :)
