Mr. Glen's Taphouse & Tapas

Not many options in this small town, but we came across this place by chance — both the café and bar areas are nicely decorated and have a very comfortable vibe. I really liked it. There’s a wide variety of food to choose from. The beef burger was juicy, with a thick and flavorful patty — very delicious. The fried calamari was also tasty, though the portion was a bit small. Still, it made for a nice little snack. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely loved the food at this place! We enjoyed it so much that we came back a second time during our Queenstown trip. The vegetarian burger and bao bun are highly recommended – full of flavor! The outdoor setup with glasshouse-style seating is beautiful. Staff were friendly and the service was fast. Definitely a must-visit spot if you're in Glenorchy.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and excellent service. Arlene took great care of us and even shared some awesome local spots to check out. We finished everything we ordered — it was that good! The menu had some hilarious names too, which made choosing even more fun. A lovely stop in Glenorchy!

we r very surprised finding such delicious food in such a small town. we went there right after the dart river jetboat, the restaurant is right at the corner, it serves fusion food. i asked for recommendation, and the server recommended the duck, lamb and burger they all very good. the indian chicken wing can be more spicy.

Such a lovely spot in this calm town. The service was top notch, the overall ambiance of the place is really feel good, and the food seems to be amazing. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, they serve food, coffee, soft drinks, have a full bar, and on top of all this they have a really nice game room in the back. The indoor seating consists of high chairs and tables as well as normal dining chairs and tables. They have plenty of TV Screens up playing sports channels. The game room has a pool table, a table tennis table, a home movie theatre, a non functional arcade console, and dart boards. The rates are really reasonable compared to the location and setting they provide. This must be part of your stopover or visit to Glenorchy.

The food here is pretty bad. Looked pretty but the taste is not good. I got lamb spare ribs but was very fatty and not good. My partner got fried chicken bao bun and bun was not well made. For the price, wouldn't recommend coming here..

After 1 hour Glenorchy walkway, we chose to have lunch at this restaurant. The food was so great and I also ordered a beer.

Such delicious meals! We got the vegan tofu tacos and “Been there done that” salad and boy did they blow us out of the water. So creative, deeply flavorful, and delicious. Chef knew what they were doing. And we’ve traveled to lots of amazing places around the world. Highly recommend and would love an opportunity to come back any day.
