Favorite was the lemon curd croissant. The cereal Cookie was tasty as well. They said the doughnut was a best seller but it was on the bottom of my list of this assortment I got. Nice staff, super clean.

I think I’m going to marry this macha tea crescent!!!! Wow! I don’t get carried away by sweets. In fact it’s almost impossible to impress me. I can take one bite of anything and walk away. As you can see by this half eaten soon to be history pastry I am smitten! Paired with an oolong tea and I’m one happy girl! An incredibly fresh crescent dipped in green tea white chocolate for a surprisingly wonderful treat.

I love croissants so this place was great. I got there close to closing so most everything was good

The customer service was awesome both times I stopped in. The matcha croissant was amazing! I also had a cornflake cookie, Thai tea cruffin and the chestnut cruffin and the coffee (really good).

Laminated dough at its finest. Had the Churro Croissant and the Chestnut Cruffin. Really good and flaky.

I've never been to an actual Mr.Holmes location but have had their pastries being distributed at other stores. Man these things are pretty but they are so underwhelming as far as taste goes. If you want something for your Instagram, great. If you want a great pastry, I would look elsewhere. Croissants are not very flakey or buttery, too bread-like. They seem maybe overcooked, like they aren't that nice golden color. Flavors, though exotic, are kinda bland in my opinion. I got a salted caramel donut and it was honestly just *barely caramel, no salt. My bf and I agreed that so far these haven't been much better than a grocery store - just a bit more hipster. So, in conclusion, not bad, but not something I would seek out at this point.

I went later in the afternoon, so the selection was not great. The clerk was very friendly and helpful, the shop is very minimalist and Instagram friendly (their Instagram account is pretty amusing too). While pricey ($3.50 for a normal sized donut and $4.50 for a filled croissant), it was extremely delicious. The croissant was crisp on the outside, airy and flakey on the inside, and filled generously with tangy, sweet lemon creme. The donut had a very small amount of jam filling, but had very compelling flavor and walked the line perfectly between chewy and light (if that makes sense!) Would definitely go again when in the area.

My daughter and I came here early Thursday morning for their Instagram-famed cruffin. Unfortunately the next delivery was an hour later, so we hung around the area with had a few nice coffee shops and Salt & Straw, an amazing ice cream shop. The staff member (I forget her name but she is from Perth, Australia) was extremely kind and friendly, which made the wait worth it. The cruffin itself was good, but I don't think we would come back just for it.
