Mr. Kabab is where it is at. Spectacular food and the service is excellent. The prices are fair for the large quantity of food you get. Loved all the variety and perfectly cooked. The space is quiet and well decorated to really give an awesome experience. Will be back!

The Middle Eastern delicacies here are authentic, produced by people from the Middle East. Real authentic cooking methods also in preparation. You can watch them cook and serve all the food is visible and you can see that they care about their craft

The food is always good. The restaurant is ALWAYS nice. The restrooms are ALWAYS CLEAN. The men's and women's are spotless.

The food is really good at this place! Especially the chicken shawarma, i like the place is very clean and nice. The baklava was very good too! This is my #1 place to go to eat Arabic food!

We go to Mr Kabab at least twice a month. It's by far my favorite Mediterranean food. The chicken shawarma platter is delicious, but it's hard to choose from such a great menu. The owner is friendly and very attentive and keeps the restaurant immaculate. Try it, it's scrumptious!

Firstly, the serving size is out of this world! My best friend and I shared one meal and still had leftovers. I ordered the Skewer Platter with two grilled chicken skewers, rice, and a delicious cucumber salad. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and hot. I requested the garlic sauce on the side and the pickles were unexpected and delightful! I also ordered (seasoned) fries, which were hot and tasty! There is plenty of seating, the bathroom was really nice, and the staff were very kind! You cannot beat the pricing! Perfect for a hearty lunch or a filling dinner!

***vegetarian food review*** This place has the BEST babaganoush ever!!! I got the lunch platter with falafel, babaganoush and hummus. This came with a small side salad and 2 pitas. The lunch portion is supposed to be smaller than the dinner portion. I couldn't finish the lunch portion and took some of it home to eat later. The place was clean and well kept. The guy behind the counter was helpful with recommendations and was very friendly.

The falafel sandwich was very good. I thought the price was high until I saw the sandwich. The gentleman who recommended it was extremely polite and helpful as it was my first time here. I will be back.

It's pretty good food and what appears to be a very clean restaurant! Two positives which are sometimes hard to find.

Always good, healthy, and delicious food. It gets busy, here, for a reason - it's that good. You can not go wrong with anything on the menu. One of my favorites, when they offer it, is lentil soup. It is amazing. The babaganous is another favorite. I could go on and on. It is primarily a mediteranean food restaurant. Try it. It may well become one of your go-to places for a delicious meal.

The food was soooooo good. We got the number 8! Basically allllll the things hahaha. It's sooooo much food & worth it. We shared with three people & still had leftovers.. Yummmyyyy. The service was very welcoming & helpful. They have seating inside & outside. It was a fairly brisk evening so we sat inside. Thank you so much.

Finally stopped in and I'm glad I did. Got the beef Shawarma Platter and got so much food. It had excellent flavor and with great spice. Also got the falafel to go with it. So nice and crispy. The price was a little high but it was for dinner, and considering how much food I got, I easily took it home for another meal.

Ordered Chicken Shawarma and received a disgusting mushy pile of boiled chicken. Asked worker if this was really their shawarma, and she insisted it was.

The food is absolutely the best. It is so fresh and full of flavor! The white sauce on my plate is a garlic base sauce and it is amazing, I actually came straight home and hit Pinterest in hopes to find a recipe. My husband loved his plate too. There was so much food we could have easily shared one plate and still had leftovers, you won't leave hungry! The side salads you choose from are just as full of flavor as the actual meal itself. It is one of our must haves when in Lexington now. If mediterranean is your flavor, this will not disappoint.

Young blonde is running away business with her attitude and me only mentality! She thought she was dealing with an average Joe on the phone while taking my order. Wrong!!! And I would assume the owner's daughter must have been her bestie since she was trying to say she overheard our phone conversation. Because she tried taking up for her when I went arrived at this restaurant to complain to the owner. Rude, little blonde girl was interrupting me literally the whole time while I was trying to talk with the owner. Like a child trying to cover her mistakes. And made a smart remark suggesting I was having a bad day! The positive was that the food was good.

Mr. Kabab was just "okay", definitely a lot of food but not a lot of flavor and not well made if I'm being honest. The salad was terribly soggy and you could see that it was just made in a large batch and left to sit for more than a day quite frankly. This is middle eastern food for those who've never had authentic middle eastern food. Sure, the portions are large, but definitely not worthwhile. The interior was outdated and not very clean (the tables weren't properly cleaned and the floor was dirty). The artisan clothing and decorations were nice - it's unfortunate that the food does not hold up though. Service was fine, nothing substantial, they did forget our order of fries twice and by the time we revived them we were done with our meal (the fries were greasy and poorly seasoned, not fresh at all).

Food was amazing! Service was friendly and fast. Portions were huge. I had enough to take home and eat later for another meal.

DELICIOUS!!! I've passed by this place going into the UPS store and noticed there we're always people in there. Today tried it and I can't wait to go back! FYI sooo much food. I got the lamb & chicken shawarma platter w/ Greek salad and falafel. I didn't like the falafel but I've come to the conclusion that I just don't like them. Literally 1/2 will be my lunch tomorrow. Wonderful staff too. With it being my first time I asked for recommendations and the woman that helped was so helpful and 100% right. It's a nice & cozy place but tables do fill up during lunch. Completely recommend! I'm trying the hummus and gyro next time.

Tried Mr. Kabob on the recommendation of my local foodies. Nice little place. Had the Schwarama Sandwich. There were some too big pieces of beef that were rather tough, and the sauce was too thin for my liking. Still, I would go back and try something else. 136

The food is excellent. The people are always nice and welcoming. A true staple for me and my family. We are lucky to have this place here in Lexington!

If I'm not mistaken, this is the original Kabab/Mediterranean eatery in Lexington, and has been at this location for a long time. Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Gyro platter with a cucumber salad side. Received SO MUCH MEAT that I had to get a carryout container to go. Flavor was spot-on, service was fast & friendly, and the dining area was clean & spacious. Price was a little high for lunch ($18), with tip, but for the price I received an incredible amount of food. Highly recommended.

I LOVE Mr. Kabob! I read online a review that someone here in Lexington had done of these guys. I live not far from them, so I thought I would give it a try. It's kinda pricey, and I spent way more than I usually do for lunch, but I shared it with 3 people, so it came out not so bad. First...you get A LOT of food! A LOT! I got the Shawarma combo, with Greek salad, hummus, and Falafel and Baklava. Sooooo good! Fresh hummus which is always a plus! If you like Mediterranean food, check this little place out. Not very big, but big flavor!!! Don't forget the Baklava! Yummy!!!

Recently I visited Mr. Kabob's for the first time. The restaurant was clean, the servers were very friendly, and the girl behind the counter told me what some of their most popular items were. I opted for a shwarma platter (chicken and lamb) with a side of Greek salad. My first impression when I received my food was that, good grief, there was a lot of it! Had my husband been with me we could have easily shared this plate. I knew a to go box was in my future. The meat was piled high on a mound of rice. So high, in fact, that as I tried to get to the rice things kept falling off the side of my plate. I did decide that I prefer the chicken over the lamb, and the Greek salad was great, too. A great little spot if you're looking for a hot lunch. Bring a friend to share with!

Fun little hidden gem in Lex. I was visiting a girlfriend and got to visit this little spot. It's a smaller place on the outside, but there is a decent amount of room in the inside to sit and eat. It was relatively busy which seemed like a good sign to me. I got the chicken kabob lunch option for $10.59. Totally fair price for the amount of food that I got. I was actually really surprised by the amount. I can get 2 meals out of this! The chicken was really well-cooked + seasoned, the rice was delicious, and the hummus was incredible. Definitely a yummy little spot.

During November and December I work some crazy hours and at the end of the day I often just want a quick meal, but I it is a treat when it is not a fast food hamburger. I popped in at least twice to grab take out from Mr. Kabab during this year's busy season. and it did not disappoint! I had falafel everytime. It is amazing! Fresh and flavorful and fried to perfection. Their hummus is smooth with just the right perfect balance of garlic and taheni! I think it is sesame oil that they add to top it off...but it delish! The restaurant has really cool vibe and the service if fast and friendly and they will answer all my dumb questions. I will be back!

excellent service and food! We got our food in 5 minutes, hot and freshly carved! Delicious flavor and their falafels are the best I've ever had. Tender, crispy and packed with flavor! Wonderful hummus and a winner in my book

Was first introduced to this restaurant after trying a friend's plate at work. It was amazing! I went a week later and got the same thing, Sharma platter w.extra hummus. The quality was just as good. I tell everyone I know about this place, the customer service is wonderful and the food is always fresh. During one pick up before work, a little girl was having a birthday party there. If that doesn't speak to the quality of the food, I don't know what does. Very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I saw a previous reviewer complaining about the 'blonde girl' that takes orders. She is the main reason I am a repeat customer. When I had no idea where to start with ordering, she was so patient and kind with me and answered every question I had regarding the menu. The second time I was there they forgot my pita bread, without a second thought she handed me the remaining ones in the plastic bag. She didn't have to do that, it's good customer service. The third time I took my husband the owner and his wife doted on us right after opening for the day. We were in a rush to get him to the airport, but I insisted he try this wonderful food. They went over and beyond for us. We are forever customers.

I ordered for a big group and the website was not working what so ever. Had to call to place a large order, but everything turned out great! So much food for the price and it's AMAZING.

I have been near this location sending packages but never stopped in.Today I was beat so stopped in for a later lunch. The counter help was polite and made a wonderful lamb wrap. I loved the meat. All all it was a great experience

Mr kabab is my favorite restaurant in Lexington. The food is out of this world. So much flavor and something different! This is the beef shawarma with tabouli.

First time eating here. The customer service was excellent and the food was as well. The Gyro Sandwich was amazing. My wife loved the 2 meat skewer plate. Many options to choose from.

I really love Mr Kebab! You get huge servings and it's hot and fresh! Sometimes the salads can be soggy/wilted so check the glass case to decide which one to order. I think they may add dressing earlier. But the food is so good! The people that work there are always happy, nice and friendly!

The chicken Shawarma is very good. The portions are large so be ready to have left overs. The staff is okay and the sitting area is pretty.

I just love this place! It's just a small restaurant in a small retail area, but the food is so good. You get very generous portions and it's absolutely delicious! This was my first time "dining in" since Covid. We actually sat outside since it was a nice evening. We placed our order at the counter then waited outside until it was ready a few minutes later. We were there near closing time and our food was still fresh and we never felt rushed at all. The staff and most patrons were wearing masks. Most people were just in and out for carry out orders. I feel safe dining here during the pandemic.

Let me tell you, This is the Best Mediterranean Restaurant I've got to admit!! My cousin recommended me to this restaurant and I was very pleased when I walked it. Yes this restaurant obey's the 6-feet rules for dinning. This restaurant is located in the shopping center in front of the Burlington Store on Richmond rd. I tried the Gyro Platter & my couom tried the Chicken Shawarma and we loved it!! The meat was very tasty and for the Gyro they had meat choices for Beef, Chicken and Lamb. And I had the Lamb Gyro and it was great, fresh and tender!! We definitely will be returning soon.

Wow. An expected hidden jewel in Lexington. Fresh and flavorful food from beginning to end. Top-notch customer service - welcoming, friendly and warm. Great laidback atmosphere with a homey feeling. I encourage everyone to drop in and enjoy this spot off Mt. Tabor Rd (next to Common Grounds).

Ordered some delivery from Mr. Kebab, falafel platter was missing the falafel, and instead was just a pile of hummus. Lamb kebabs were incredibly dry and BEYOND overcooked. Beef Kebabs were also tough and overcooked. No sauces with any of it, despite ordering (and paying for) extra sauce. Tried calling for an hour after recieving the order, no answer, full voicemail. Very disappointed overall.

Man! Let's talk about that rice. It was so bad that I had to eat around it! I'm pretty sure that it comes in a microwaveable packet.... It's that bad. And it was $18 after tip so I felt a little cheated. Price is really high for the quality of food. Work on that rice tho and I might come back

My kiddos and I love Mr Kabab! Location is perfect, off Richmond road so normally not to much traffic. Staff are always friendly and service is really fast. The portions are huge is you get the plates instead of a wrap. I always get chicken shawarma, and I love their garlic sauce. My daughter loves it as well. I love that they are trying different styles of food and enjoying it, so no matter how plain it may be. I'm happy this is a good to place my kiddos & I love. It's also very great price.

Mr. Kebab is still, hands down, my absolute favorite gyro and hummus. My partner hates hummus and craves theirs, it's that good!

It's been a long time since I've visited Mr.Kabab, and they've definitely upped their game. I got the beef Schwarma platter today with tahini salad on the side. Everything was delicious and fresh, and the portions were enormous. Highly recommended.

Platters have huge portions of delicious food! We both had gyro platters which included the usual pita sandwich and 2 sides, falafel and extra meat in our case. Order at counter and food is brought to your table. Service was quick as exp. No alcoholic beverages but plenty of drink choices otherwise.

I love this place! Great food at a fair price. Today I got my usual, the lunch Shawarma Platter with a side for $6.99. It is a ton of food. I got chicken and lamb with Greek salad. It was absolutely delicious and they include plenty of the garlic sauce which I love. There was not an open table at 12:10 and there was a line to order. After about 30 minutes it died down and there were plenty of tables open. No other Mediterranean restaurant in town gives you so much quality food for such a good price.
