Red Hook Restaurant the Good Fork Will Reopen Briefly as a Chinese-American Pop-Up | Eater NY

"Operating as a two-month Chinese-American pop-up out of the Good Fork beginning March 4, Mr. Lee’s is run by 30-year-old chef Leland Yu and showcases a mix of the Chinese foods his parents and grandparents made and more American-Chinese takeout-style dishes. On the traditional side he’s offering a fragrant herbal chicken soup brewed with cloud ear mushrooms and lily buds—meant to evoke a home kitchen steaming all night—and on the American-Chinese side there are items like roasted Brussels sprouts and carrots with a sweet plum sauce described as “familiar but different,” plus a “super beefed out” and “luxurious” oxtail and tendon fried rice. Yu developed many of the dishes through pandemic-era private dinners, has organized fundraising runs for Chinatown charities, and is aiming to introduce Mr. Lee’s to a wider audience through takeout and delivery (Thursday–Sunday, 5:00–9:30 p.m.); the menu and online ordering are available online." - Erika Adams

These wings absolutely lived up to their reputation as the best. Coming from Buffalo, I can confidently say they compare well to many of the great spots there. The staff was incredibly friendly, and while the place has a cool bar vibe, it was also very accommodating for my family with small kids. If you're in the area, or just passing through, it's a must-stop for wings!

This is absolutely the best chicken wing place in northeast Ohio, period. When we got there the place was packed, but the kitchen staff and bartenders all work together and it runs like a well oiled machine. They were pumping out perfectly cooked chicken wings that were to die for. The sauce and flavor selection is incredible. Everything we got was perfect from the food to the cold, stiff drinks, I just can't say enough about this place.

Dill pickle wings extra crispy with a side of extra sauce! mwah! that will be your new favorite! just try it! and they have one amazing food runner on wing night! Raelyn is super good at what she does and is always smiling! I recommend trying it out on a Tuesday night! it might be fairly busy but it is worth it!!

Ok, we tried them again because we thought that the last bad experience was just a fluke. We ordered 80 wings $120, there was a hole in the foil pan that drained all over our seat and outside of our car. The wings were so overdone they were like jerky. Then my husband said a kind lady came in to order wings because the line was busy for 20 minutes and apparently she ordered some sauce they don’t have so they proceeded to make fun of her in an ear shot and swear back and forth about how she was lying about the 20 minute busy phone. He said he was so embarrassed for her and we will definitely never be back. Learn manners and practice neater service.
