I have heard people rant and rave about how good the wings are at Mr. Lees. So, about a year ago, i decided to go there and give them a try and I was very disappointed. We sat there waiting to order for 20 min then sat there watching other patrons walking out hungry and upset for an hour while we waited for our wings. Not a good first impression. Come to find out their cook had quit that night. That being said, I decided to give them a second chance at redemption, and gave them another try. Now, before I continue, I must inform you that I love wings, and I'm literally 1 mile away, from my front door to theirs, making this an ideal hot spot for me to eat. I ordered wings and was told they would be ready for pick up in 20 minutes. I walked into the restaurant 15 minutes later figuring I would have a drink while I waited the extra 5 minutes for the food. Low and behold, to my surprise, the food was ready and waiting. I paid, and headed right home, they smelled so good and I had been looking forward to these wings all day! I opened the box, took out a wing and took a bite. Once again....I was disappointed! SMH, The wings were dry and overcooked, it was like eating chicken jerky! I'm not sure what the rave about them is, I think the wings at Dominoes are better, and that's not a compliment to Dominoes either. So, In short, I would suggest going someplace else for food until they can get the kitchen under better management! As for the atmosphere, it's kinda biker ish, not a family type of setting, but then again, what bar is?
